I need your help on the following server fault.
After a restart of a DL360 GEN9, I encountered the following errors
329-Power Management Controller FW Error – Unable to communicate with the FW. Action: Reset iLO FW. If issue persists reset the Power Management Controller FW (remove AC). If issue persists attempt to update the FW.
LO FW Communication Issue – Unable to communicate with iLO FW. Certain management functionality is not available».
333-HPE RESTful API Error — Unable to communicate with iLO FW.BIOS configuration resources may not be up-to-date. Action:
Reset iLO FW and reboot the server. If issue persists, AC power cycle theserver
I couldn’t boot into the OS (2012 r2) so I tried to revert to the backup ROM. Now I’m facing an error : 306 REDUNDANT ROM ERROR : ILO FW did not set the primary system rom…
It then gets stuck. System utilities are not even available with this ROM.
I downloaded the latest SPP and made a bootable usb using the usbkey tool from the iso file.
When i boot the server , i run into the following error
Code Bad RIP number
Kernel Panic — not syncing : Fatal exception in interrupt
ERST [Firmware warn] : Firmware does not respond in time.
I have been trying all day and i’m running out of options.
I even tried to update the bios offline but it gave «firmware update failed. STATUS = ABORTED»

HP Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) — пакет обновления HP для серверов ProLiant. Это полный набор для обновления драйверов, утилит и firmware для любых серверов HP семейства Proliant: SL/ML/DL 300, 500, 900 серий и блейд-серверов. Что скачивать/устанавливать
Тут представлена коллекция разных версий релизов официальных сервис паков для серверов HP Proliant, выпущенных Hewlett Packard. Не пугайтесь количества файлов и их общего размера, вам не нужно скачивать полностью все сервис паки. Скачивать и устанавливать все сервис паки по очереди нет необходимости. Скачивайте и устанавливайте лишь самую последнюю (по дате), новую версию, она уже включает все необходимые обновления драйверов. Необходимо лишь убедиться, что эта последняя версия поддерживает ваш сервер. Например, начиная с версии 2014.09.0 прекращена поддержка сервера G5 и более древних линеек серверов. (Подробная информация по версиям релизов ниже по ссылке «Полное описание релизов и ссылки» и/или чуть выше по ссылкам документации на сайте HP)
Также тут представлена коллекция нескольких версий релизов HP USB Key Utility for Windows — утилита для записи Service Pack for ProLiant на флэшку. Вам скорее всего подойдёт самая последняя версия утилиты.

Перезагрузить прошивку ILO (находится в Firmware — Lights-Out Management в открытом доступе) 2. Если не помогло убрать шнур питания для перезагрузки контроллера питания 3. Если не помогло прошить прошивку контроллера питания(находится в Firmware — Power Management в открытом доступе) Все действия выполняются через ILO(ну кроме выключения шнура питания) |

Нужна подсказка: 1) С целью установки драйверов скачал и смонтировал в Windows образ последней версии SPP для G9 DL360, затем запускаю launch_sum.but и через браузер попадаю на страницу localhost:63002/. на которой находится страница приветствия Smart Update Manager, но просит ввести логин и пароль. Подскажите, пожалуйста, какой логин и пароль требуется вводить? Через Chrome пароль не требует, а через Firefox Mozilla требует. 2) Smart Update Manager выдает сообщение уже на первом шаге «No applicable component found» и никаких дров не устанавливает, хотя Total components 1281 Источник Adblock |

Hallo liebe Forum-Mitglieder,
es gibt schon so viele Beiräge zu Netzwerk und Problemen mit Proxmox V7 und dem neuen 5.11 Kernel, dass ich mir schon fast dumm vorkomme.
Wir haben ein HPE C7000 mit BL460c Gen 8 Servern laufen.
Mit der Kernel-Version 5.11.22-1 laufen die Netzwerkkarten problemlos. Mit 5.11.22-4, welche in der aktuellsten Version benutzt wird, sind die Netzwerkkarten futsch.
Gibt es dazu schon einen Fix für das nächste Update?

Hallo,
Habe das selbe Problem mit den Blades BL460c Gen9.
Nach dem Update ist kein Netzwerk nicht funktionsfähig.
Ein «systemctl restart networking» behebt das Problem. ifupdown2 ist installiert.
Fast noch schwerwiegender ist aber das nach eine reboot das Blade nicht mehr funktioniert.
Da hilft echt nur das ziehen aus dem Center!
Die Blades sind auf dem aktuellen Patchlevel.
Im Ilo sehe ich diese zwei Meldungen:

Option ROM POST Error: 2109-Slot 1 Error — Failure to apply Virtual Connect (VC) settings. Action: Verify the VC configuration. Reboot the server and re-apply the VC settings.
/2/
POST Information: 329-Power Management Controller FW Error — Unable to communicate with the FW. Action: Reset iLO FW. If issue persists reset Power Management Controller FW (remove AC). If issue persists attempt to update the FW.
Nach dem ziehen des Blades startet es normal bis auf den Netzwerkzustand.

Welche Version fahrt ihr auf den VC?
Ich hatte die Fehler mit Xen Servern, dort mussten wir die VC updaten und die Profile neu zuweisen.

Ja, wir benutzen auch die VC-Module. Mit Version 4.62. Die Version ist aber an dieser Stelle nicht wichtig, denke ich…
Ich konnte jedenfalls unser Problem lösen…
Wir mussten lediglich das SR-IOV im VCM auf AUTO für jede Netzwerkkarte in jedem Server Profil einstellen und natürlich gucken, dass die Funktion im BIOS auf den Blades auch aktiviert ist…
