Здравствуйте!
Вот какая беда приключилась…
Сломалось что-то, а выхода не вижу. Когда пытаюсь сохранить любой файл как *.gif или *.jpg посредством «Save for web», выводит ошибку:
«Could not complete this operation because an assertion has failed».
Всё перепробовал, Фотошоп тоже заново установил. Не помогло!
У кого-то такое случалось? Как решить проблему?

1. Найти работающий Шоп и переписать оттуда соответствующий плагин.
если не поможет
2. Запустить шоп с зажатыми Ctrl+Alt+Shift
если не помагает
3. Снести Шоп нафиг, не забыв почистить реестр и винчестер от следов настройки (любит Adobe писать инфу в папки типа Common Programms (в разный версиях виндов они могут быть разные
)
если непомогает
4. Снести Винды, переформатировать винт и установить все заново
Обычно установки поверх не помогают
Если Шоп русский — снести нафиг и установить нормальный английский

На самом деле причина была несколько другая, я разобрался таки. У меня антишпионская программа Spybot Search & Destroy предложила почистить регистри… В общем, удалила 2 файла Виндовса, необходимые для того, чтобы сохранять для вэба. Я сегодня догадался в этой программе бэкап запустить. Теперь всё работает.
(рассказал на тот случай, если у кого-то такая же штука случится, а то в интернете я решения не нашёл)
