1. Go to %localappdata%AvenColony, and you’ll see a folder called «Saved». To go to that folder, simply hold the Windows key and hit R, and then paste %localappdata%AvenColonySaved into the box that appears. Hit Enter or click OK and a Windows Explorer window will appear in the correct place.

2. Then please compress the entire «Saved» folder into a ZIP or RAR file (or make them available on DropBox or some other standard file-sharing service) and send it to us at

Aven colony fatal error

I had posted before but gave up & wanted to try again if I can get an answer as to what I need to do to perhaps fix this problem. I made an html page with results for both DxDiag & a SFC scan result. I can record my desktop if needed to show what the game does as well.

I have also tested launching the game in offline mode as I noticed some other players has said that it only did it when they went online. Doesn’t matter on my game it crashes both online & offline.

The game is installed on an M2 disk that reads at 3000MB/s writes at 2500MB/s which is a 2nd M2 not the one listed below. It is temp until I can afford to buy an 8TB M2 which I plan to do in the near future.

Are you trying to start a game at all?
Can you choose a campaign? What happens if you do?
Can you please check any windows defender/firewall/anti-virus is not blocking the game at all and add any exceptions for the game?

Windows defender is on Windows PC’s as default, so please check this is not blocking the game at all.

Please try running the game as an administrator:

1. Right-click the game in your Steam Library.
2. Go to Properties then the Local Files tab.
3. Click Browse Local Files.
4. Locate the game executable (the application).
5. Right-click it and go to Properties.
6. Click the Compatibility tab.
7. Check the Run this program as an administrator box.

Try running Steam as administrator:

1. Navigate to your Steam install folder (Default: C:Program Files (x86)Steam).
2. Right-click the Steam executable.
3. Follow the above steps to set it to Run as Administrator
4. Restart Steam.

Have you tried different resolutions? Does the issue still occur no matter what you run the game on?

I have it disabled in Services as it blocks some other programs I use like my DriverMax which is insanely stupid but that’s Microsoft for you. So it isn’t an issue at all cant be being its permanently disabled.

I have already tried running steam as admin no luck there either. This is the only game that crashes like this. I play Fallout 76 quite a bit & it requires a lot more resources then this game does.

A clean boot is being used to start your Windows device using a minimal set of drivers and start-up programs.

Windows 10:

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
2. Click More Details.
3. Select the Startup tab.
4. Right-click on each item and select Disable.
5. On the Services tab click to select the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox, and then tap or click Disable all.
6. Restart the computer.

Once this is done please launch the game to see if the issue still continues.

To re-enable your start-up programs:

1. Follow the steps above again but at steps 3 and 5 right-click and enable all of your programs and services again.
2. Then click Apply and restart your computer.

The first thing you need to do is to run the game to recreate the crash.
After that you can find the MSINFO via the steps below:

1. Open a Run command box by pressing the Windows key and R key at the same time.
   — You can also do this by searching «Run» in your Start menu’s search bar.
2. In the Run window’s dialog box, type msinfo32 and click OK.
3. When the System Information window opens, give it a moment to pull information from your system. You’ll know it’s done when you click through the menus on the left and see information for each of them.
4. Click File, then Export.
   — Do not choose File, then Save as. This will create a very large file that you may not want on your system, and our system has a file size limit that might reject it.
5. Name your file something simple, like «mymsinfo», and make sure it’s saved as a text (.txt) file.
6. Save the exported file somewhere you can easily find it, like your Desktop or your My Documents folder.
   — It can take a minute or two for the file to export and save.

If Aven Colony crashes, Aven Colony will not start, Aven Colony not installing, there are no controls in Aven Colony, no sound in game, errors happen in Aven Colony – we offer you the most common ways to solve these problems.

Be sure to update your graphics card drivers and other software

Before letting out all of your bad feelings toward development team, do not forget to go to the official website of your graphics card manufacturer and download the latest drivers. Aven Colony not starting

I’m so angry right now. after I updated to the latest version (4.24.3) this keeps happening to me. it doesn’t matter if it’s opening a material or a bp or even creating them, saving , just clicking makes it crash. and I can’t take it anymore every 3 or 4 minutes it happens. I tried everything from guides .

updating my driver , overclocking my CPU , changing a bunch of registries ( the delay thing ) turning the realtime billboards off. nothing works and I don’t no what to do anymore. It worked fine with the previous version that I had and it was at least 4.10 smth. And I can’t get back to it cause I changed my project versions and deleting the previous ones . I had no choice because I didn’t have enough memory. please help me I’m all broken to continue on my quarantine project -x-

Как решить проблемы вылета при запуске игры как Fatal error! (The UE4-Atlas Game crashed) для старых/не самых новых видеокарт которые не совсем корректно поддерживают Unreal Engine 4.

Есть два способа исправления данной проблемы:
1) в ручную
2) через автопатч

После скачивания архива, мы должны перенести файлы что находятся в архиве в корневую папку с игрой

Путь к корневой папке : Библиотека игр > Little Nightmares > Свойства > Локальные файлы > Просмотреть локальные файлы > Atlas > Binaries > Win64 > *вставляем файлы*

После того как вы скопировали файлы в папку (не закрывайте ее) вы должны открыть командную строку, прописав ее в панели как cmd.
В открывшимся окне пишем название диска на котором сохранена игра и двоеточие «F:», у меня это диск F, после чего мы жмем на Enter/
Затем, в появившейся строке мы пишем CD, ставим пробел и копируем путь к папке с игрой :
после чего нажимаем Enter :

КОМАНДНУЮ СТРОКУ НЕ ЗАКРЫВАЕМ

Запустите игру, после чего ее нужно свернуть.

Возвращаемся к командной строке, в последнюю появившуюся строку мы пишем : tasklist
(эта команда покажет все процессы на этом диске) где нам нужно будет найти процесс Little Nightmares

Здесь главное что нам надо, это цифры консоли, у меня это 7628 (у вас они могут быть другими)..
После этого в последней строке вы должны написать команду : sde, пробел, -attach-pid, пробел, и после этого нужно ввести цифры консоли запущенного приложения Little Nightmares 7628/
Это должно выглядеть так :
После чего вы должны нажать Enther.

После всех проведенных операций вы спокойно можете развернуть игру и начать новую игру.

>данную процедуру вы должны проводить перед каждым запуском игры(не закрывайте командную строку после того как выполнили все операции по вводу кода), так как после выхода из игры, команда которая блокировала UE4 исчезнет.

Патч для компьютеров с 2-х (3-х) ядерными процессорами не поддерживающими SSE4 и выше. На одноядерных процессорах данный патч работает, но увы игра сделана на Unreal Engine 4, что приводит к неизбежным фризам (подвисаниям) так как данный движок более оптимизирован минимум на 2-х ядерные.

To me it started when i went from 1 grid to another grid, the other grid it server was probably was down as i got disconnected ( there was no red wall, what does the red wall even mean? )

It seems like deleting windowsnoeditor solves the UE-4 engine from me when i am in main menu, but when i join EU PvP game shuts down with the error, its another UE-4 everytime.
verified files couple of times now, uninstalled and installed couple of times.
i think my charactar got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the trash devs.
