Hard Drive BBS Priorites ставим disable на MMC, а нашу флешку в 1#
в Boot Option #1

после выполнения скрипта/копирования, до 100% «exit»

после установки, выставить в Boot
windows boot manager #1

В некоторых случаях Bios сбросить на default, и выставить загрузку с SSD заново

Так же возможно ПОСку потребуется несколько раз включитьвыключить, «без наличия флешки»

После ПОСка несколько раз может перезагрузится самостоятельно

smile Запорол свой планшет на Windows 8! Пытался отформатировать с него внешний HDD в FAT32 с помощью программы fat32format, что-то неаккуратно нажал, планшет ушёл в ребут и теперь Windows не загружается. При стандартной загрузке постоянно грузится EFI Shell со следующим текстом:

День добрый! Отрубился комп; последние недели 2-3 барахлил. Сначала сильно шумел, временами отрубался — пропылесосили. Шуметь перестал на время, но не помогло. Во время работы на экране появлялись цветные точки и полоски, затем он подвисал, отрубался, либо начинал перегружаться. Последнюю неделю пропал звук, а сейчас совсем и всё. Вообщем, что-то в нём сдохло. Нужно определить, чего менять или ремонтировать.
Баребон-система ASUS.

Ответьте, кто сможет посмотреть, можно так, можно в личку, на работе до 6.
Местонахождение: на Февральской за «Магнитом».

ПОСка не видит вн накопитель eMMC.

отключить питание от ПОСки, и отсоеденить с разьема батарейку BIOS, на 20 минут

Загрузиться с LifeCD, и отформатировать eMMC

Если проблема с MMC осталась, то используйте отсек 2.5

Any help would be appreciated!

I dusted off my lattepanda last week, and have spent most of the week installing updates here and there for windows 10.

Everything worked fine until this morning, (I did not make any updates the day before) and when I booted up the device, I was met with the following error:

I press ESC and nothing happens.

This is the LattePanda Alpha, with m3-8100y (KR300)

I tried booting from a windows installation USB, and it can’t detect my SSD (tried switching usb ports, nothing shows up).
I swapped my SSD into my other PC, and it shows up and I can access files from it.

I’ve now swapped 3 SSDs into it, and all have the same issue. It seems like it can’t detect it.

you should be seeing a prompt like this

SHELL >

Type MAP -r

screen will display the drive mounts.

You USB fob should be FS0: but it can be a higher FSx

Assuming it is FS0: type FS0:

Prompt will return

FS0: >

type startup,nsh

the code update should run assuming you extracted the code to the root of the usb key.

If not type

CD WhatEverYouNamedTheCodeArchive

then startup.nsh

Last tip. If the USB fob is installed before you boot, the system will find it and run automatically if the code is in the root of the USB key.

Try different USB ports. Make sure the USB key is formatted with FAT/FAT32 file system.

I also now have an almost silent server running in the background. You can literally hear the serenity.

I need to poke this thread. Now that the FRU has been upgraded, I have very low fan RPM. Good for noise levels but I am concerned now because there is no change in fan speed regardless of load.

When I went through this process, I expected the opportunity to select some options that would set/configure the fan speed or set some parameters for it to operate within.

There were a number of prompts during the FRU upgrade process but no information about what response was required to those prompts. So I simply hit enter.

So I wanted to know, does the FRU upgrades mean the FAN speed is variable according to the heat levels experienced by the server or has this process just set the fan speed to a fixed low setting. Will the fan work harder when the system gets hotter as it doesn’t seem to vary at the moment.

If I was supposed to provide a specific setting, how can I find information about what those settings are?

ok excellent thank you. I would just like to hear the fans spin up a bit faster but I am having a hard time inducing a high enough increase in temps to get any change.

I can feel the temp rise by maybe 2 degrees but no increase in fan speed. Perhaps these intel chassis are just too darn efficient. They are definatelty our preferred solution for our customers.

I do not the Console reports a critical error:

CriticalL SPS FW Health reports SPS Health event type FW Status. Internal error during firmware execution. Image shall be updated to other version.

Not sure if that error originates from the update I did or some other issue after that time.

Ok. Still have some issues. We deployed the server after making the changes. It’s a work group unit and is not deployed in an environmentally controlled atmosphere.

There is no automatic variation in fan speed. The fans waft along as they have done after this change. I would estimate the fans are running at < 20% of the speed they were running at out of the box.

The server suffered a shutdown over this past weekend. I’m concerned we have aheat issue. Ambient temperatures are now climbing here. I would expect we have mid to high 30’s C over the 2 days.

Is there a way to manage fan speed? Is there a way to revert to the previous condition where fan speed was just flat out.

This server has a 3rd party adaptec RAID controller on it. I am now concerned a roll back of the BIOS, if required would give us issues with the RAID Controller and that possible leads to issues with the whole OS installation.

Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

И, ребят, если вдруг знаете, как помочь и что сделать, пишите пожалуйста поподробней. В компах шарю неплохо, но с такой ситуацией столкнулся впервые. Да и вообще ноутбук на bios uefi для меня в новинку.

Начну с начала. Купил ноутбук MSI GE73 Rider RGB 8RE-098XRU в интернет-магазине OZON. Как я сейчас понимаю, без операционной системы.

При первом запуске столкнулся, как я уже сейчас понимаю с EFI Shell. В итоге решил, что на ноуте нет операционки и решил ставить свою. С помощью программы Rufus 3.3 накатил образ windows 10 на флешку, выставив параметры: Схема раздела — GPT, Целевая система — Uefi (non CSM). Файловая система — Large FAT32, размер кластера 32 КБ.

Вставил флешку в ноутбук. В Bios в панели «Advanced» > «USB Configuration» в пункте «USB Devices» вместо «none» высветилось «1 Drive». Ниже, в пункте «Mass Storage Devices» появилось устройство «innostorNAND Flash 1.00» с параметром «Auto». Вообще устройство называется иначе.

Со стандартными настройками, Bios флешку в разделе Boot не видел. Начал менять настройки. Выставил «Fast Boot» — {Disabled}, «Boot mode select» — {UEFI}. В разделе «Secure Boot» > «Secure Boot Support» — {Disabled}. В разделе Advanced» > «USB Configuration» все оставил как есть, а именно:

Legacy USB Support — {Enabled}
XHCI Hand-off — {Enabled}
USB Mass Storage Driver Support — {Enabled}

Перезапустил Bios. Устройства (флешки) в разделе «Boot» не появилось. Пробовал менять приоритет Boot. Ставил первым то {USB Hard Disk}, то {USB CD/DVD}. Все время пытался запустить установку windows. Ничего не помогало. Все время кидало на EFI Shell. Пробовал нажимать F11. Результат: «Please select boot device:» и только один пункт — «Windows Boot Manager (P5: ………) Флешка так и не появилась.

Записывал еще 3 разных образа других windows 10 — результат один и тот же. Небольшие изменения произошли только, когда записал образ с такими параметрами:

«Схема раздела» — MBR, «Целевая система» — BIOS (или UEFI — CSM). «Файловая система» — NTFS, «Размер кластера» — 4096 байт.

В биосе установил необходимые параметры для установки MBR. В разделе «Boot» биоса появилось устройство «innostorNAND Flash 1.00». В панели загрузки (или как она там называется), которая вызывается через F11, также появилось это устррйство. Но больше ничего не происходит. Дальше EFI Shell меня не пускает и установка не начинается.

В EFI Shell флешка отображается как:

blk5 :Removable BlockDevice — Alias (null)
PciRoot (0x0) /Pci (0x14 , 0x0) /USB (0x11 , 0x0)

Флешка полностью исправна. В тот же день ставил с нее ОС другому человеку. Все было в порядке.

Прикладываю снимки экрана. Бьюсь уже 3й день, перечитал кучу инфы, но так и не понял, как все починить. Оочень надеюсь на вашу помощь. Буду безумно благодарен.

P.S. Биос скидывал до стандартных настроек путем нажатия «Load Optimized Defaults» в панели «Save & Exit»

Answers

The EFI SHELL is in your system motherboard UEFI/BIOS. It is not in Windows.

Best guess is you either have a hardware fault that has been identified by the UEFI/BIOS or Build 9879 is causing a catastrophic hardware incompatibility which is terminating Windows and returning the system to a UEFI/BIOS hardware diagnostic being run in
the EFI SHELL.

I wonder what motherboard it has, and who makes the BIOS. You may need to contact the maker as I can see they in Thailand but can’t find their web site.

1 fix i found was move the hdd to another sata port but might not apply to a cloudbook

try typing exit a few times to get back to bios? does it show a cursor?

Yes, after

it have a cursor, but KB is not working at all. External USB KB seems like not powered at all (no any LEDs working).
Only Power button works like an Enter (just give new line).
If i hold Power for some seconds — some new line have appire and devil mashine is powering off.

I would take it to either a repair store or where you bought it from and ask them for advice as to who to contact.
sometimes if you get stuck in efi shell it means the hdd is not answering.

Hard to fix without a keyboard or anything like that.
