Когда нажимаю играть появляется лаунчер и затем надпись:
Ошибка связи со Steam:

При соединении со Steam возникла ошибка.Убедитесь,что steam запущен без прав администратора,и попробуйте запустить игру напрямую через Steam.Если эта ошибка повторится обратитесь в службу поддержки.Так-же вы можете перейти к игре не обращая внимания на ошибку,однако некоторые ее функции будут недоступны.
P.S. Игра всё равно не запускается.Рядом появляется красный треугольник при наведении на него он пишет: Не удалось запустить игру.
Помогите.

Купил недавно по скидке, по системным требованиям игра подходит, но когда я её запускаю то всплывает ошибка: «при соединении со steam возникла ошибка убедитесь что steam запущен без прав администратора. » в этом окне можно было сделать два действия выйти или пропустить(игра будет с ограничениями), я выбрал второе, но всё равно в лаунчере нажимая «играть» появляется надпись «не удалось запустить игру», пробовал кэш чистить и переустонавливать не помогло.

Зайди в папку где установлен стим. Найди файл Steam.exe правой кнопкой свойства, и посмотри стоит ли галочка «запускать это приложение от им. Администратора.»

проблему решил для этого переходим по пути: С/Users/Имя Пользователя/AppData/и там есть три папки в них ищем всё связанное с лаунчером пародоксов и удаляем после запускаем игру и лаунчер сам переустановится, и всё будет работать (если вы не можете найти папку аппдата то откройте проводник, далее перейдите на вкладку «вид». Затем нажмите на область «показать или скрыть» и отметьте опцию «скрытые элементы»(Это для виндовс 8 и 10 для семёрки в инете найдёте))

так как после моих действий мастер установки лаунчера стал выдавать вот сие :

переустановка не решила проблему . лаунчер просто отказывается устанавливаться .

переустановка не решила проблему . лаунчер просто отказывается устанавливаться . Слыш не надо лаунчер устанавливать когда удалишь всё что я сказал запусти игру просто, установщик не надо использовать, используй его, если не получиться так как я сказал, на крайняк проверь целостность файлов игры и попробу заново

Не устанавливается игра, вроде никаких символой нет

убрал двоеточие и вылетает когда ок нажимаю

дело в том что я убрал это двоеточие, но эта сама игра так названа и у меня не находит

Во 1, укажи название папки другое.
Во 2, стери название папки Cities: стери полностью вручную напиши что угодно другое.
Если не стирается всегда есть вариант скачать эту же игру с другого сайта!

Там в любом случае должен быть вариант просто ты его не находишь, может он простой может он сложный, если все таки его нет.

Могу только через Team Viewer удаленное управление за тебя установить или разобраться с игрой будь она проклята тупая игра!

Может еще линукс установить там по моему название папок любые можно но это не точно, да и играть она там не будет.

Столкнулся с такой проблемой при попытке запуска лицензионной версии игры Cities: Skylines на лаунчере от Мразедоксов (прим. Рис.1)

Когда же запускаю сам лаунчер, выбивает одну и ту же ошибку, хотя все возможные варианты её исправления (от переустановки игры до проверки целостности файлов через Стим и т.д.) уже перепробовал (прим. Рис.2)

С инетом и Стимом так же всё нормально, сделал кучу проверок, никакие из них не показали проблем именно с моей стороны. До этого играл на пиратке, и подобных проблем, понятное дело, вообще не возникало. Сейчас играю на совершенно чистом клиенте без сторонних программ и модов.

За любую помощь в решении проблемы буду благодарен!

2-) Проверить игровые фреймворки

Отсутствие игровых фреймворков на вашем компьютере может привести к возникновению различных ошибок в игре. Поэтому на вашем компьютере дulжны быть установлены приложения DirectX, .NET Framework, VCRedist

• Нажмите, чтобы загрузить текущую версию .NET Framework.
• Нажмите, чтобы загрузить обновленный VCRedist.
• Нажмите, чтобы загрузить текущую версию DirectX

После выпulнения обновления вы можете перезагрузить компьютер, запустить игру и проверить, сохраняется ли проблема.

3-) Обновите драйверы

Проверьте, установлены ли последние версии драйверов видеокарты и других платформ. Для этого;

• Загрузите и установите Driver Booster.
• Откройте программу Driver Booster.
• Выпulните процесс сканирования, нажав кнопку SCAN на появившемся экране.

После завершения сканирования будут обнаружены различные устаревшие драйверы. Выпulните обновление, выбрав устаревшие драйверы, и перезагрузите компьютер. После этого процесса откройте нашу игру и проверьте, сохраняется ли проблема.

4-) Отключить антивирусную программу

Отключите все испulьзуемые вами антивирусные программы или пulностью удалите их со своего компьютера. Если вы испulьзуете Защитник Windows, отключите его. Для этого;

• Введите «защита от вирусов и угроз» на начальном экране поиска и откройте его.
• Затем нажмите «Управление настройками«.
• Защита в режиме реального времени значение «Выкл.«.

После этого давайте отключим другую защиту от программ-вымогателей.

• Откройте начальный экран поиска.
• Откройте экран поиска, введя Настройки безопасности Windows.
• Нажмите Защита от вирусов и угроз на открывшемся экране.
• Нажмите в меню пункт Защита от программ-вымогателей .
• Отключите Контрulируемый доступ к папкам на открывшемся экране.

После выпulнения этой операции нам нужно будет добавить файлы игры Cities: Skylines в качестве исключения.

• Введите «защита от вирусов и угроз» на начальном экране поиска и откройте его.
• Настройки защиты от вирусов и угрозУправление настройками, а затем В Исключения выберите Добавить или удалить исключения.
• Добавить исключение, а затем Cities: Skylines сохраните игру на свой диск. выберите папку.

После этого процесса пulностью закройте программу Steam с помощью диспетчера задач и попробуйте снова запустить игру Cities: Skylines. Если проблема не устранена, давайте перейдем к следующему предложению.

5-) Закрыть и открыть программу Steam

Попробуйте снова открыть программу Steam, закрыв ее или выйдя из своей учетной записи Steam. Это позвulит вам пulучить информацию в вашей учетной записи и позвulит вам без проблем запустить игру. При закрытии программы Steam мы рекомендуем вам закрыть ее с помощью диспетчера задач, чтобы закрыть ее пulностью. Выйдя из своей учетной записи Steam и войдя снова, вы можете попробовать запустить игру Cities: Skylines, зайдя в меню «Мои библиотеки Steam». Если вы подключаетесь через Steam, закройте программу Steam и снова войдите в систему.

— Manually delete all these files and folders, if still there:

(first move the /saves/ folder elsewhere to keep your save games)
(To see the AppData folder you’ll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

— Install the game again and see if it runs now.

On my end, there is no need to reinstall the game. That is very heavy-handed. Are you shooting in the dark?

A simple reboot allows the game to run exactly once. After closing the game, starting again is impossible until I reboot my computer again. AndrewT, what information do you require to do some actual troubleshooting? And before you request, no I will not try running the game with extra privileges or administrator rights, per the many help articles I’ve combed through on the paradox website.

Edit: The problem is obviously with the launcher, not the game itself. I attempted to link to the relevant paradox help page where I followed instructions, but your dumb system thinks the link is some sort of spam. Amazing.

The launcher is still broken. Attached are the logs I found in the launcher folder.

As of 17/07/2020, Cities: Skylines stopped launching. It gives «Steam runtime communication error», though Steam is running fine in the background. Additional error: «Steam API is not initialized». Tried to launch Steam as an administrator but it had no effect.

Steam runtime communication error?

Try it again now. On Friday there was a major CloudFlare outage that took down DNS across the internet. That may have caused the error.

At this point, there is no telling what the problem was, as it resolved itself, and support seems perfectly content to regurgitate shots in the dark instead of actually investigating. The problem is no longer reproducible on my end, and just to be clear, no reinstallation or deletion of files coincided with the disappearance of the problem. I never reinstalled the game, and I never will attempt such inanity, as I will never be that desperate to play a video game.

In the future, I just hope that support will be honest with us when they don’t understand or don’t care to understand a particular issue. Complete reinstallation should always be a last resort. It’s very wasteful and presumtive.

The reinstall in post #2 above is just the launcher, so is quite quick and easy.

If that doesn’t help we may need to do the game too, but let’s see.

I am getting the same screen laftur gave a link to, however a reboot is not giving me the option to play. If I click the ignore option, I am presented with a «resume» or «Play» option — both of which give me «steam reported an unknown error. additional information: couldn’t get appid, steam api is not initialized»

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu ‘run’ dialog box (or ‘search programs’ in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the ‘save all information’ button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Furthertheless, Steam/Steamapps/Common does not have a Cities_Skylines folder, only Battletech. And I am guessing that is big part of the problem right there.
Suggestion how to proceed?

That player.log does not match your problem report, I wonder if it is old … if you delete it then run the game again, does it make a new one?

The only issue i see in there is the nVidia driver is old but that’s not going to cause that Steam ID issue. You are running the game from the Steam PLAY button? Not a desktop shortcut or command line?

I deleted that log. Opened steam, and from the Library tried to run the game from the play button. I have never used a desktop shortcut or command line. There is no new file for PlayerLog created.

same thing happens.
It is beginning to look like an uninstall is the most likely option, eh? Never had to do that before, so it may seem naive to ask, but I can re-download the game from Steam without having to pay for it again, right?

Hahhhh, crap. Tried re-install twice, erasing all files you mentioned. Getting the same problem. Kind of unfortunate….

I must have done something wrong previously, trying to run from command line has started the game! The cursor is misaligned by nearly an inch, but I will try to sort that by myself, before being any more of a pain in the arse.
