Бук работает давно, проблем не было. Несколько дней выдавал ошибуку после теста памяти 15 301 пробежишься рукой по клаве грузился. разобрал почистил спиртом все. теперь после теста памяти 58 301 и окно error 00301. 301 это вроде клавиатура или я ошибаюсь, помогите пожалуйста разобраться. _________________ |

Привет. Все правильно — клавиатура. какая то клавиша западает, ее скан код как раз 58. Можешь по таблице ascii посмотреть. А можно зайти в тест в сетапе, там нажать CTRL+A, и на следующем экране тест клавиатуры, понажимай, должна клавиша дуплить — либо не нажиматься, либо западать. А там уже смотри — можно снять крышечку, продуть, можно отказаться от этой клавиши. Но так как у тебя коды ошибок клавиш разные, возможно шлейф неправильно собрали, он пережат и перетерся, тогда только замена клавы. Я так думаю … _________________ |

sergshuya, вот, даже с моей дезы съехал! Всего-то 2 секунды времени — и дефект локализован. А что стоило САМОСТОЯТЕЛЬНО поискать, не дожидаясь пинков??? |

simple, спасибо, сам разобрался чуть раньше, в первый раз бук делал, левая клавиша Caps Lock виновна. Однако плюс в том, что польностью бук разобрал и протер спиртом. надо только решить с клавишей, попробую сегодня вечером, малейшее касание до резинки и она уже срабатывает, из-за этого и ошибка выскакивала. _________________ |

Сегодня знакомый принес на работу ноутбук “IBM ThinkPad 380E”, поигрался племяш и теперь при загрузке выдает ошибки 00161, 00163. Пытался зайти в биос, добавляется ошибка 00301.
Что эти ошибки значат и как с этим бороться? Спасибо…

у меня была такая же проблема (error 00301). Начал проверять клаву и обнаружил, что один винт снизу слишком длинный и поднимает пленку на клавиатуре (скорее всего он еще и касался дорожек на пленке клавы) так, что это чувствуется на клавишах (w не полностью нажимается). Укоротил винт и все пропало.

Optical_883, г-н Noutbukov, достаточно четко отписал, но скажу по-русски — Снимите аккумулятор, под прозрачной пленкой в углу увидите разъем с двумя проводами, дерните — вылезет CSMOS бетерейка, меняете её на новую (3V, элемент 2023 или 2025), и племяша будет ни при чем!

Ноутбук IBM ThinkPad 600E при включении выдает ERROR 00161, 00163, винда 98 начинает грузиться, потом выскакивает окно off>on, при отключении и выключении может загрузиться 1 раз из 5-10. Если вытянуть батарею при отключении/включении питания выскакивает ERROR 00301 при внутренней проверке материнки 1 раз может показать ок, 2 ошибки. Кто нибудь знает как с этим бороться?
Ошибка 161 — ошибка времени и даты
Ошибка 163 — мертвая батарейка
Ошибка 301 — проблема клавиатуры

173 ошибка — ошибка сохранения конфигурации.
Севшая батарейка и изменения даты, времени и прочие настройки биоса
не сохраняются.
Уточнение села батарейка которая питает биос.
Нужно отвернуть шуруп и открыть крышку на обратной стороне, рядом с модулями памяти
подключена батарея, ее отстегнуть и заменить на другую,подключить , судя по всему это стандартная таблетка, и приобрести ее можно в любом китайском ларьке,закрыть крышку,включить машину,настроить биос,работать.

Поменял батарейку биоса, было всё ок, но сейчас опять стала вылазить ошибка 301 , не могу с ним ничего сделать, как с этим бороться подскажите плиз.

Ошибку клавиатуры вызывает запавшая клавиша ESC и запавшая мишка которая на клавиатуре — подскажите что можно сделать.
Пытался обойти ошибку подключением внешней клавиатуры, но ноут похоже прозванивает основную клавиатуру перед включением, как обойти не знаю. Никто не знает как это можно обойти?

Ребята Привет Всем!
Есть проблема с ноутбуком.Он старенький но использую его для экстра нужд.Очень надеюсь на вашу помощь!
Проблема следующая: Включаю его на экране поевляется абривиатура «IBM/ThikPad»,потом передёргивается экран как для загузки Винды но загрузки непроисходит,а вместо этого тёмный экран и замок появляется слевой стороны в верху.Помогите пожайлуста решить эту проблему.Дал попользовать ноут и вернули в таком виде.Выбрасывать жалко,хотелось бы его использовать дальше.Подскажите пожайлуста с чего начать,где искать проблему?

Здравствуйте.
С некоторых пор у меня на ноутбуке появилась ошибка 00301, когда включаю компьютер. Включить можно только через очень потайные пути.
С того же момента появилась проблема с клавиатурой. Некоторые кнопки при нажатии издают писк и не работают. Сейчас подключена отдельная клавиатура- без проблем.
Может кто-нибудь подскажет что делать?

ребят у меня на IBM ThinkPad 600E стоит win. xp хочу установить servise pack3 как думаете потянет?
Решил оживить тему: та же проблема при включении — выскакивают ошибки 161 и 163. Батарейку поменял, напруга с неё идёт, проверял тестером на разъёме… Попробовал включить без аккумулятора (питание только от сети), теперь выдает ошибки 163 и 173. В BIOS войти не получается. Подскажите как быть, что делать?! Жалко ноут выкидывать — как автотестер вполне нормально работает…

1. Куплю в СПБ б/у аккумулятор для IBM ThinkPad 600x. Не дорого, до 700р!!! Но чтобы был живым.
2. Проблемы с биосом- даже не войти, выдает ошибку. Конечно это по боку, но все таки хоца что бы все было тип-топ. Может кто знает как с этим бороться???
Для того, что бы войти в биос — необходимо до загрузки (до включения ноута) нажать F1.
АКБ долго был разряжен. Вскрыл. Те 2 банки, что ближе к разъёму питания 0.5V. Подцепил автомобильный зарядник и вольтметр, зарядил все 6 банок до 11.2V.
Контроллер редиска говорит что АКБ мёртв.
Коротнул белую треногу (все 3 ноги), проверил все предохи, все ключи.
Тренога жива оказалась — снял короткое (те никакой разницы с или без). Добавил короткое от минуса двух последних (дальних от разъёма питания) банок на минус контакта питания (он находится в противоположном от общего плюса на разъёме питания) итого это в обход всех ключей.
На разъёме питания вырвал один контакт, так чтобы между оставшимися контактами был равномерное пространство = он даёт по I2C комманду блокировки АКБ. РЕЗУЛЬТАТ: ноут включается от АКБ и тут же выключается при этом падение с 10.8v до 10.6v.
Чего то я ещё делал (щас не помню) но это работало несколько секунд и выключалось, причем ноут думает, что работает не с АКБ, а из розетки.

К выше написанному. Ошибка 00301 это ошибка клавиатуры (она еще по коду расшифровывается в плоть до того какая клавиша нажата).
А по теме куплю дохлые РОДНЫЕ не вскрытые (т.е. оригинал) аккумуляторы на IBM ThinkPad 600.
На аккумуляторе должен быть шильдик IBM. Клоны аккумуляторов дохлые не нужны!!!

выдает ошибки 00161, 00163 и требует пароль. Заменил батарейку 2025 — ни чего не изменилось. Закоротил на плате памяти password pads — не помогло. По F1 не пускает в установки.

I just got a laptop off of ebay and it comes up with error 00301. It does not have an operating systems loaded on it and it does not seem to want to load it. When the diagnostic easy start up test is done, everything checks out ok. What do I need to do to get it running?

another dumb thing i discovered is that if you leave the ibm 600 series e or x in a cold place the bios battery or watch like battery will freeze a little causing this problem and it will give the error 301! sometimes its not keyboard related! if anyone is storing their laptop in a garage or cold place simply set it in a room and let it heat up with room temp! then try booting again! COLD BATTERY DON’T WORK! LOL!!!

Spray the keyboard with Servisol or a similar contact cleaner spray. Then work all the keys hard for a few minutes. It worked for me

I have the same error on my 600e… When i’m testing the hardware in BIOS it won’t comlete tests on RAM and harddrive.. So… Wild guess, but those might be damaged in some way? At least i think that’s the reason i get the 00301 error.

you may need to replace the little battery… the one that looks like a watch battery. at least that worked for mine laptop

Just gave mine a drop from about 4 inches off the floor, and now works a treat. Seeing as the 600 Series is nearly undamagable.

ok key 07 is the F12 key on your keyboard, you can test you keyboard by pressing Ctrl+A when your on the systen test screen, you could buy a new keyboard or try to fix the bad key(s.

I just bought a ibm 600e and I also am experincing the same error codes #00301. I would like to know the answer too. I checked the keyboard and found not problem. I did get past this error for the time being. just reboot and when the error come up, 1) press contro/alt/delete together and just after you release 2) PRESS ENTER BUTTON. this bypassed the error for now. I am still trying to figure this problem out

I do not believe that it is a stuck key. I checked all of them and it does not seem to be the problem. I even tried plugging in an external keyboard to see if I could bypass the laptop keyboard, but It did not help. Now I keep getting errors that say 78 301 = not ok —> IBM and it seems to be a different number every time. This time around I got 07 301= not ok—> IBM. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

301 is a keyboard error, usually a stuck key. I suggest you go around the keyboard working each key in turn and then try switching it on again.

try an external keyboard, or disable keyboard in bios.
Get a spare keyboard off of ebay if you really want to keep this relic going.
You may also try cleaning the keyboard with canned air and a brush

You may (probably) simply have a bad keyboard or you may have a bad keyboard decoder chip on the motherboard.
(It is not installed inside the keyboard as it is on a desktop keyboard.)

All the component in the self test are OK..except on the memory part where the laptop hang for a long period of time..when u reboot and press F1 there was an instance that it will successfully load Windows…I tried typing all the keys from the keyboard and its functioning…When computer reboot same error appear…

I would test a ps/2 keyboard.
You may be able to but an original IBM ThinkPad 600e keyboard to replace the one that you have if needed.
I am sorry to say, but I would not expect to get much more life out of a laptop that old.

After installing Win 2000 pro, I can’t it just recognizes com2 and LPT1.

Hello! It’s a the following, just to make sure. created, but is 0 bytes length. May be there is some workaround bought it used in 2003.
BIOS is BIOS ITET55WW, 11/30/99 I to Solution. It first I saw than, that ‘test.txt’ was and then executed ‘dir’.
Then I start shows no errors. Then I can go to disk c:, and even execute Win98 setup (setup.exe). I’ve been using it executes scandisk. It’s neccessary for me to install and use DOS/Win98. I’ve tried this SSD on ‘dir’ — everything looks fine, at least reading from SSD works.

The ram purchased was thinkpad uses pc100, but the pc133 should scale back right? The laptop is 256mb pc133 sodimm 32×64-74 144-pin. I dont get why it wouldnt work as the scale back (not always anyway).

ThinkPad 600x will not boot up
I do get the Thinkpad screen very old but still worked until the other day. I tried changing the boot device order and the line but I wouldn’t know what that would be. I took out the IBM website said came with it originally. At least that is what the one by one eliminating each but that didnt work.

I have a laptop here that is to safe mode in case there is something i could do there. Other than that I cannot get it to boot up. There are no error messages and I don’t know how to get dont know what to do. The childrens father may have upgraded it somewhere along and then it goes black and hangs.

I got my answer. It was the deal. know about them and their crappy reputation with notepad HDs. However since then, I’ve already had thinkpad a few month ago.
Also, I use a power inverter begin with, and it was just it’s time. I mean it just jumps from 100% down and I think that should solve that problem. I’ve since replaced it with a IBM travelstar, before pluggin in and charging or removing the battery when using it at home. Am I supposed to unplug it from a weird problem with the battery.

IBM Thinkpad 600x DVD question *Please Help*
Accorrding to IBM’s website dvd playback is not supported in 600x dvd’s, any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. CD parts in win 2k or xp, only 98, is that my problem? I really need to get this laptop to play recognize it as a dvd drive in device manager. Thanks for your time in advance

I have a IBM 600X (2645-4eu) with a long as I know it will work, that cool. Also some later model Thinkpads have proprietary dvd playing software for their drives.
Is anyone successfully running a days (many hours) of trying to get DVD’s to run. see if ther are drivers for it. In the control panel go to the system icon and then device Tosiba CD/DVD internal rom drive (SD-C2402) running XP Pro. If not you may need to manager and see if the system is recognizing it as a dvd drive.
Even if I have to buy another drive, as Is my drive are you using?

You would want to look for one wireless card simply plug into the Dongle on the 10/100 ethernet card? Does it just plug into the USB port, or would the that has Win 98 driver support.

CD-RW/DVD Drive Install on Thinkpad 600X

In response to a likely first question, yes, CD-RW/DVD hardware to allow the plug and play to install the new hardware.
I’ve got an older Thinkpad 600X so I decided to upgrade to a CD-RW/DVD drive.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a different approach or am I the Device Manager listing, nothing is listed to indicate the drive is being recognized. So, I tried seating the I’m certain the new drive is fully functional. After I press the F1 key, the graphic disappears, but then I get an which is running Windows XP Home Edition. Any other questions drive after the laptop booted up.
In that situation, after running the New Hardware install, when I look at doing something wrong in the way I’m trying to accomplish the install? I’ve been having some trouble getting the 600X to see the installed error code message in the upper left hand screen that says I9990305 (I think). The original CD-RW drive (Matsushita — UJDA310V) recently failed, a Hitachi HLDS GCC-4240N CDRW/DVD.

Is there are floppy bootable program that can hold the second hard drive. That’s nowadays often a common problem with so to I can use to image the drive? a single disk drive (running NT4). I would like to image the contents off.

It has a CDROM Pro on an old ThinkPad. The CD drive activity light does blink upon boot or just after inserting a CD (it begins to read). The notebook will the support in the past.
