Error!404, once named William, is an entity that derives from the core universe, Alphatale. With an unbroken desperation to bring back his Universe, he is considered one of the most mysterious beings.

Biography

Error!404 once was a child of Wendy Thana Gaster, the Empress of the first universe, Alphatale. While he was initially made as an attempt for Wendy to clone her most prized possession, Samson, she later used him for experimental purposes that could be regarded as cruel and inhumane. This had left a rather dramatic toll on his mind, and would later be one of the reasons for his entry into the Mainframe. [BIOGRAPHY WILL BE UPDATED ONCE ALPHATALE PROLOGUE IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED.]

Error!404 is an entity of supreme intelligence, wit and thought. From manipulating even the least gullible of beings to overcoming any mental situation, he is shown to be heavily determined in both his actions and mentality. Commonly cold and imposing, only speaking when necessary, Error!404 naturally emanates an intimidating stance. Driven by his eternal goal of reviving Alphatale, he keeps his soul on that single goal and never gets distracted by it, going so far as to deny his logical side and ignore the improbability. Anything else is a side project that is in his way. Error!404 is quiet and reserved, keeping a low profile most of the time to not deter himself from his goal. He remains calculating and persevering through any effort, and his ego is the sole thing that stops him from giving up in any fight.

Error!404 naturally sees himself above others, though never boasts it or exaggerates it. He is naturally apathetic and devoid of empathy, only gaining certain traits of caring from things relevant to his past. He personally hates those that express their power out towards others, seeing it as a primal weakness in life. He commonly tries to deny parts of his past, usually those involving his family and relationship with Chara. However, despite his ignorance to the outcome of his relationship, he cannot bring himself to murder any Chara that has the slightest feature similar to that of his boyfriend. Despite his cut from his past, he still retains certain traits of William, such as his disliking of alcohol, his natural need to correct people scientifically and the need to correct things that he seems incorrect, even if it goes to the length of endangering others. Whenever reminded of his past, it commonly sends him into an internal frenzy, which destabilises him and completely overwrites his personality with Mainframe Code, making him an emotionless killing machine until it returns.

In battle, Error!404’s top skills come to play. He is extremely close-range and personal, defensive until he is able to strike. His mind automatically seems to follow a pattern he learnt when young to fight like he would die in a singular hit. From this, he only attacks when necessary. With the first blow, he tends to follow it with various combos and consecutive attacks. This is to refrain his enemy from hitting back, and if he slips up once, he is sure to go back to his defensive stance. Despite his cold stance, he tends to be very cocky in battle. While not being happy or flourishing, he often criticizes his opponent’s fighting style, even giving them tips as if he was some form of trainer to them.

Abilities

Alpha Ray

Molecular Integration, referred to as Alpha Ray, is a secondary ability that Error!404 uses. Error!404 can bring matter together within the area of his palm, sending out a blue parasitoid, invisible to the naked eye, that targets each bit of matter, attacking it violently at the speed of light to the degree that it creates a legendary amount of friction, capable of melting through anything with ease. Error!404 can then fire this ray by his natural soul link to magic, firing it at any speed he desires. This can be a consistent beam or a quick-fire, depending on whether or not the blue parasitoid remains. If it is a consistent beam, it will burn down anything that gets in its way, up to 9,000 Kelvin in heat. If it is quick-fire, with the parasitoid remaining, it will turn the beam into a vapour right as the surface of the ray touches the body, allowing for the parasitoid to enter their body and possess them.

Destabilisation

This is primarily used during Error!404’s close-range combat. He has the ability to alter his body to allow for various things to occur. First of all, he is capable of destabilising his atoms to result in them vibrating due to the instability in mix with the stable environment. While this will not only allow for him to apply severe friction from a limb, he can also open gateways to the Mainframe in holes between his bones. If one is to get caught in-between, he can instantly close the portal to sever the limb.

Instantaneous Regeneration

Error!404 is capable of instantly regenerating his vessel, only at the cost of his magic. Due to his slightly upgraded HP, this instantly happens whenever any defence bypassing attack occurs. Alongside this, bypassing attacks redirect instantaneously.

Dark Blasters

Error!404 can cast large, powerful blasters that are capable of firing beams that reduce half of any entity’s current HP, no matter the defence. Alongside this, it can emit a large thrust from a backward beam to bolt Error!404 away.

Ultimatum

Error!404 can condense a surface with such pressure it causes a black hole to emerge, sucking everything in from the near vicinity. This black hole can vary in size, though it drains too much of his magic to allow him to form multiple at once.

Eldritch Remnants

Error!404 has strange, skeletal tendrils that he can emerge from his spine, allowing for him to fight with them, alongside traverse with them. The range of them are able to exceed 25m, though past that, the strength fades away. The tips of these remnants are so powerful that they can hammer into concrete without causing any blunt force.

Mainframe Relocation

Error!404 is able to destabilise his own particles and reappear at any location he is aware of. This has no known range, though he does need to remember a certain spot of the location off by heart.

Data Storage

Error!404 is capable of turning entities into pure, dark blue pixes of varying size, which then instantly is either transported into the Mainframe, or can be used for weapons.

Mainframe Blades

Error!404 can use these cubic pixels to form them into two dark blue swords, roughly similar to an Egyptian Khopesh. These can slice and dice with weightless speed, though can cut through physically anything like butter due to its radioactive structure allowing for it to break down any surface instantaneously.

Glitch Whip

Error!404 can use these cubic pixels to enter a shape that is similar to a whip, being very extensive and powerful, with the connection of various particles that latch together to prevent them from tearing.

Mark of The Beast

Any injury that Error!404 deals unarmed by his claws will infect any victim with a deadly toxin, slowly causing them to suffocate as their body turns paler and paler, eventually forcing them to regurgitate stomach acid/soul acid.

Blue Mastery

Error!404 is capable of inflicting mass in an object, completely having control over the gravitational influence that it has. This can go from all the mass in an object to a certain group of mass in it.

The Mainframe’s Finisher

Error!404 is capable of telekinetically grasping an entire universe, alongside another one. To do so, he must be elevated at least 20m in the air, and have his arms stretched out with his palms facing the sky. At that point, while slowly, two whole universes will submit to his grasp, allowing for him to then thrash them together, causing an explosion so powerful it can be compared to two Big Bangs.

Weaknesses

Error!404 is extremely weak to abilities that involve Ultraviolet Rays, being a condition from his cloning process. He also has a severe weakness to entities of a weak magic level, as his vision is degraded to the degree he can only truly view by the amount of magic in a vessel.

• Error!404 is capable of glitching, though not to a crashing degree. However, given that the Mainframe had negatively reduced William’s emotional state to the point he’s rather cold, he doesn’t glitch often. He does destabilise if attacked hard enough.

• He cannot fly in a general sense, yet can distort his hands to fire extremely weak alpha rays that boost him into the air. He doesn’t do it often, since it usually causes radiation sickness.

• Error!404 hates Sans recolours. Gren!Snas is his least favourite person.

• His favourite place to rest is specifically Alternate Timelines of Undertale, mostly Horrortale, Axetale and Grimtale. Axetale is his favourite, as he tends to try and investigate Flowey’s control over the RESETS.

God Ray: Fires a blast from his fingers that will kill anything and anyone who has god-like code or unordinary code from a regular AU character. First God Ray will stun opponents for all eternity. The second God Ray will pierce through weak people, or even powerful godlike entities and slowly kill them.

Reincarnation: This Ability is used when Error404!Sans is either killed or takes to much damage. When he has taken to much damage or is killed he will begin to scatter his code in the ground and will then delete himself from the world. After that, the particles Error404!Sans left behind will gather code from the world and then return to Error404!Sans’s lair and reanimate 404 from the resources they took.

Void Infliction: This ability is an automatic, only caused from Error404!Sans entering a void. Upon him entering a void that isn’t an anti-void and/or the Mainframe, the amounts of stray data in the area will begin to rapidly vibrate, rumbling and possibly even collapsing the void.

Flight: Error404!Sans is able to manipulate his ability to fly.

Unopposed Strength: Error404!Sans has gained immense strength from both training and from the Mainframe, allowing him to carry as much as 222,900 tons (Class M Lifting Strength)

BACKSTORY: [ ]

In their AU Alphatale, Error404 used to work with his brother, Alpha!Sans. They both donned jackets with numbers in their AU so that people could distinguish who was Alpha!Tale Sans and who was Error404. Alpha wore a number 2 jacket, whereas Error404 wore a number 1 jacket. Every day, they assisted others in their community who required assistance. However, one day, an unknown Sans entered their realm and began killing numerous people. He was known as Mix!Sans, although he was best known as Infected. He came to look for more LV (Level of Violence). Infected fought a terrible battle that Error404 and Alpha had to put an end to. They battled and fought until they reached a stalemate. They regained their breath, however Infected killed Alpha!Sans before they could react. While staring at his brother’s dust, Error404 wept and lamented his brother’s death. Infected glowed with pride and joy. Error404, filled with rage and sorrow, tore open a gap in reality with his bare hands before Infected could act, and committed a mistake that would haunt him for the rest of his life. He chose to transport himself and the Infected into the Anti-Void, which was uninhabitable at the moment.

Error404 unintentionally starting hacking the Anti-Void when him and Infected got transported to the Anti-Void. After that, he tried to rip apart his own head making it look like he was crying strange black ooze. He then took some Anti-Void code and used it as wires to eradicate Infected. Only because he hacked the Anti-Void was this achievable. It granted him everlasting life and great endurance. This provided Error404 with the perfect level of power to destroy Infected. Error404 would grab infected crush them to dust and spread it onto the floor of the Anti-Void he then began to suffer an severe mental breakdown.

He had triumphed in war, but at what cost? He’d turned into a malevolent monster, gone mad, and lost his brother. Error404 concealed in the Mainframe/Outer Wall, a section of the Anti-Void that only he had access to. It is a location from which he can observe all activities in and out of the Anti-Void. He’s stayed there ever since, never interacting with other AUs, slowly driving himself insane in sorrow in his seclusion.

404 dresses in a long blue coat with blue sashes on each arm with the number 4. He also wears a white shirt, white pants, and black socks. The white fur on his coat, like the rest of his attire, is now white with blue stripes. 404’s bone colour palette consists primarily of white, blue, and black. 404’s right arm is totally black, but his left arm is normal with his typical colour palette.

Mystery Man: [ ]

Error!404 had spent a significant amount of time on the Mainframe conversing with a single entity. This was Osiris, essentially his trauma monster come to life. Eventually, Osiris told Error!404 about a peculiar man known as ‘The Man of Mysteries.’ This entity was said to be a real being born from the emptiness! Although Osiris was mistaken, all he knew was that he came from the Void.

Error!Sans: [ ]

404 has formed an odd relationship with Error, although his motives have not been tainted by his job as Error’s mentor. The two have had their fair share of squabbles, but in the end, despite their dislike for one another, they wind up having each other’s backs when it matters most.

King Multiverse: [ ]

404 created King Multiverse as a cover-up and uses him as a pawn. King Multiverse has a great deal of resentment for 404, although the two have had their fair share of disagreements. The two have a passive-aggressive relationship.

Alpha!Chara: [ ]

Alpha and 404! Chara had a really serious relationship in the past. They met one day in Hotland, had some ice cream, and kept growing closer from there. They’ve been together for nearly four years, and we’re considering making them official until the siren goes off. 404 has never forgotten Chara and refuses to date or become romantically involved with anybody else since he only has eyes for Chara.

Ink!Sans: [ ]

404 was once going to choose Ink over Error! Sans, but he now just regards him as a hindrance. 404, although being a fantastic vessel and killing and functioning machine, he cannot risk Ink because to his unpredictability.

An obnoxious AU guardian who continually gets in his way. 404 has attempted several times to journey into the Abyss, but Abyss!Sans has had limited results. Abyss and 404 have had numerous fights, and while Abyss has always managed to escape with his life, it may be tough to keep everything together with 404 stalking his back and tampering with the Abyss.

CORE!Frisk [ ]

404 finds Core!Frisk very intriguing. Though their previous introduction didn’t go well, after 404 presented himself in person, he and Core got along nicely. He kept his reasons and goals hidden from Core. Core and 404 became close, but not too close that 404 became too connected to them.

Alpha!Sans [ ]

404 adores his brother, despite their differences. 404 is still grieving over Alpha and refuses to accept that he is a ghost. Alpha was killed by Infected, he ended up fighting Infected in the Mainframe. Alpha’s death has left 404 psychologically scared.

How Error404 met Error: [ ]

Personality: [ ]

Error404 is a depressed and insane individual who doesn’t normally interact with anyone on a personal level. He tends to be dead serious about his job, and is extremely patient. It’s hard to get under his skin, and isn’t easily amused or perturbed. In his past life, however, he was a charming individual that would normally talk and co-exist peacefully with others. Now, he is focused and ‘determined’ to fix his universe, Alphatale.

Error404 prefers to show his true intentions at first, no longer having much of a reason to hide them. A master manipulator, he has developed so much to the point he can perfect a poker face. At first glance, Error404 comes off as a sociopathic experimenter, working in the background to deal with everything he considers a bother. The slightest grudge, he’ll take the most exaggerated response. A permanent solution to a temporary problem.

However, that isn’t truly Error404. Error404 retains his sadness, yet instead commonly turns it into sternness, usually being a reason for his intimidating posture. Despite his notoriety as a formal sociopath, in person he comes off as a pure brute, always dominating the situation anytime he’s present, always knowing what to say and always being the one on top. Error404 has a complete god complex, yet he truly isn’t a bad person. All he wants is a happy ending, yet he will go to desperate measures for so, even to the point of giving others a bad ending. His aspirations for regaining Alphatale are stronger than ever, and he will accomplish it.

He loves to be alone, talking to Alpha of how his day is. He doesn’t believe that Alpha is alive, yet he always pretends to personally vent his mood out, just to not lash out. Because you do NOT want to see him lashing out.

Quirks and small things: [ ]

404’s right arm is the one that thrust into the Mainframe, causing him to get his powers in the first place. His right arm is the most dominating, as it is the only one with which he can employ most of his abilities, such as Blue Mastery, God Ray, and summoning Dark Blasters at times.

404, like his mother, is a skilled manipulator. He employs his poker face to keep his distance from anyone he believes or knows may get to him, since he has years of experience dealing with an emotional outburst and his emotions in general.

На хостинге Windows файл .htaccess не поддерживается. Его функцию выполняет файл web.config. Если вы наблюдаете внутреннюю ошибку 404 или 500 на хостинге Windows, рекомендуем обратиться к разработчикам сайта или на тематические форумы с вопросом, как убрать 404, заменив файл web.config.

Что будет, если не исправлять ошибку 404

Во-первых, есть риск потерять потенциальных клиентов. Когда пользователь не получает информацию, которую искал, он уходит на другой сайт, который ему предложил браузер. Если ошибка встречается на веб-ресурсе часто, можно потерять и уже имеющихся пользователей, так как они решат, что использование такого сайта небезопасно.

Во-вторых, есть риск потерять хорошую позицию в поисковой выдаче. Сама по себе страница с ошибкой 404 не вызывает у поисковой системы недоверия. Она просто удаляется из индексации. Сделайте страницу 404 полезной

Например, если у вас сайт на WordPress или вы пользуетесь услугой REG.Site, страницу с ошибкой можно легко создать с помощью плагина 404page.

Вот несколько советов по созданию страницы:

• дизайн этой страницы должен соответствовать всему ресурсу (цвет, шрифт, иллюстрации),
• поместите ссылку на главную страницу,
• добавьте дайджесты последних публикаций на сайте,
• поместите контакты организации (номер телефона, адрес) и службы поддержки,
• можно предложить действия для решения проблемы доступа к странице.

После посещения такой страницы посетитель хоть и не получит нужную информацию, однако у него останется положительное впечатление от посещения сайта, и в следующий раз он не откажется зайти на него снова.
