Error 999 sans

Error Sans is a powerful multiversal being, he is one of the main rivals in the story, yet he is still a little bit childish which does lead to a few important things about him

Origin[]

Geno did it. He was finally free from the Save-Screen, and he finally had gotten the ending he deserved. Yet during his time in the surface, he had began to play around with his DETERMINATION, despite Sans telling him to stop doing so. Finally, Geno had accidentally sent himself to an empty and endless place where time was non-existent. He quickly began to grow insane, the emptiness and the loneliness eating up at his sanity and his anger towards everything (and everyone he had helped) shaped him into who he is now, his memory was erased during the process as well.

Now, he considers his life’s mission to destroy anomalies, «Glitches» and AUs, seeing them as «mistakes».

Ironically, he does not view himself as an «anomaly». He likes to seek and destroy AU’s left and right, except for the ones he likes such as OuterTale and UnderNovela. How he does it is that he first keeps Frisk and Flowey under guard, so they are unable to reset (he imprisons them). Then, he proceeds to go on a killing spree.

Error was a glitched skeleton that was created in the Anti-Void. He is the result of an alternate Genocide Sans playing with his DETERMINATION and sending himself to the Anti-Void, where he turned into Error.

Error is somewhat demented and psychotic. He is determined to find all anomalies and «glitches» within various timelines and destroy them. His character is the one of confusion and somewhat hypocritical behavior since he himself is an anomaly, but sees himself as the cleanser of timelines instead. He has been stated to be a complete mystery due to his erratic and unpredictable behaviors he has. He keeps «puppets» of his other alternate versions of selves that he talks to calling the standard Sans, called «Sans Classic» and naming the others by numbers. Despite admitting he is an anomaly/glitch, he says he is different and that he is the only one doing something about it. He wants to hunt down CORE! Frisk and the Omega Timeline.

Personality[]

In his AU, he is bent on destroying AUs which he considers ‘glitches’ or ‘mistakes’ in the multiverse. One thing that is not completely clear is his alignment. At first it might seem easy as he fits evil and he clearly doesn’t have love of death like chaotic evil people do but that’s where things stop and has tried to stop bad people in the past. He seems like neutral evil because he doesn’t care about hurting people to get what he wants but shown in Underverse he seems to have a sense of honor and never breaks the truce he made with ink ever and only breaking it when he finds out ink broke it first. This is something a lawful evil person would do and Error does it in a way that a lawful evil person would, so it’s unclear if he is neutral evil or lawful evil because both would make sense to a degree. He isn’t the type to grow close to people, even Ink and Core, yet he usually does without knowing it. He is easily irritated and can be enraged by simply things, but also calmed down with ease if the right actions are in place.

Requirements, Deals, Importance, and Story[]

• Error thanks to him being able to destroy every universe in the doodle sphere, is a vital key in many attacks and missions of Team Void, yet because of this he isn’t deployed often due to needing to be kept safe especially with people like Core and Fresh on Team Hope
• Error’s deal with Error404 is canon here and will create several conflicts also one of the most major events in the bad ending
• Error is a really important asset to Team Void, they could honestly survive without him, but he is wanted
• He and Ink have had a truce in the past, however, Ink broke this truce after being outsmarted. Error did not destroy however there were now more destroyers constantly destroying that Ink was constantly experiencing negative loss without creating

Team Switching Traitor[]

Error during the end after finding out the goal of Shattered will conflict with his own, will not switch to Team Hope, but instead go rouge. Error knows that if Shattered was to win, he would simply be tossed aside, and their reach would simply go beyond the multiverse and leave it in an unlivable state. (in his opinion) besides he did like a few AUs. He did not join Team Hope and quite frankly has expressed the fact which he never will but does help them out from battles in time to time, however, he has outright refused to work with people other than Ink or Seraphim.

Relationships[]

• Core — They’re an annoying rat who constantly tries to be their friend and unkillable, however, it would be a lie if Error didn’t grow a bond with Core.
• Error404 — They have a student — Master relationship however Error does not like 404 and takes more of an angsty teen or rebellious approach
• Ink — He did at one point have a crush on Ink during the truce, however, that feeling has faded and used as fuel in battle to destroy. Bringing up Ink can cause Error extreme frustration or to just ramble on about how horrible and stupid Ink is
