The numbers used to say a lower number(1110 I think), but it increased after I left the battery out for several hours. If I hold down the power and volume down buttons and release the power button momentarilly when the LG logo shows up the message is delayed for a short period and the numbers are much higher (somewhere between 4000 and 8000). I speculate that the numbers have something to do with either the time it takes to reach the message or the line of code it reaches before it encounters an error. I’ve tried googling the error but every result is about a rooted phone and different models. It should also be noted that this started happening after a routine shutdown and restart command. The only apps I have installed that didn’t come with the phone are Perk TV and 1tap clean. I’ve tried finding the phone with adb device at various points in the boot loop but I only get an empty list.

MS500 F6, definitely rooted (though I’ve suspected my bootloader is not unlocked, is that possible?)
Normal boot and all operations are fine, but every time I try to Boot into recovery or flash anything, I get this:

I’ve been customizing the old-fashioned way, and I finally got the phone where I like it.

KDZ UNBRICK and start over is your best bet.
Save what you can to your PC.
Copy what you want off the SD and format that also.

UNBRICK? What do you mean? Phone works fine … it’s fully functional and properly rooted. It turns on and off and boots normally perfectly well.
Only problem is I want to flash GameTheory’s Freedom kernel, and I can’ do it (hmmm, GameTheory himself likes your «burn the crops and salt the earth» advice).
I appreciate your time and and advice, you know far more than I do. And I know you have no incentive to do so, but I’m gonna need a lot more convincing before I go to those lengths.

^^ This statement makes it sound like you get a bootloop and why Viperdink suggested unbricking to fully restore which under that circumstance he made a good call.

It seems to me like all he’s done is root and delete some bloat apps, and install a custom recovery. Judging by the problems he is having it seems like he installed a recovery built for a different device. If this is the case then his phone probably isnt loki’d which is why he gets the security error. Its easy to forget that the f6 does come with a locked bootloader. If my suspicions are correct then installing Hroark13’s TWRP or Pressy4pie’s CWM may fix the problem.

I have had more experience with CWM (just installing ROMs).. and.. As an artist and eccentric type person… I love rainbow mode…
But, the simplicity and straightforwardness of TWRP… has taken allot of mystery and ignorance out of the whole process of doing things correct….
And the touch works…. CWM touch is something of a myth to me.. it didn’t work on the admire or the premia..

I can think of two times that TWRP’s file manager has gotten me out of a bootloop without a factory reset or flashing a rom over again. Once it was because of a bad boot animation and once because of an Xposed module. In both cases I just deleted the file that was causing the problem. If I had CWM installed and not TWRP I’d have had to factory reset and flash the rom all over again.

You can be stuck in a bootloop and still run these commands. This is how I recover my phone when I’m experimenting and get bootlooped or bricked.
Oh and from a bootloop or brick you can go to recovery like this…

The bootloader on MS500 is indeed locked. To boot a custom rom or recovery, the boot image or recovery image on the F6 needs to be loki’fied. All boot images and recoveries released by developers in the forum should be properly loki’fied already. So like Masterchief87 said, you either used a recovery not from this forum (thus not properly loki’fied) or your recovery image is corrupt. «Boot certification verify» sounds like your recovery image doesn’t pass the signature check, so the phone’s bootloader won’t load the kernel and you’re stuck until you pull the battery (kinda like a kernel panic except in this case the kernel is not even loaded).
Since you’re still able to boot normally, do not overwrite your boot image until you make sure your recovery is working. Like Masterchief87 suggested, find hroark13’s TWRP and install that. The apk should put the properly loki’fied TWRP recovery image at the recovery partition.
If for some reason you’re unable or unwilling to install the apk to your /system partition, you can pull the image file (with extension .lok) from the apk and manually install it to the recovery partition (so the boot and /system partitions remain unchanged). If you really need to do that, I can give you the commands, but it’s easier to just use the apk (which includes the ability to reboot to recovery within the app) nicely packaged by hroark13. If all he did was install a recovery that wasn’t made for the f6 then he could probably just install the correct one. Then if that doesn’t work reflashing the stock kdz firmware would be the plan b. The only reason it wouldn’t be plan a is to avoid having all changes to /system being undone.

yea that’s more than just installing wrong recovery.he’s corrupted his partitions in his phone mainly the one that boots.I think I got mine from flashing the wrong kernal with wrong Rom or something.

Whats your personal opinion on the best rom available for my (p.o.s.) phone. im headed to get get a 32gb sd because i only have a 16g in there now. Im wanting to switch my straighttalk service to this phone. But wanted to update Rom first. Im wanting to make this phone to be music games and apps only with no limitations as far as compatible and memory sufficient. Hope im not being a nuisance to you or Dastardly Muffin or anyone else for that matter. Thanks in advance

Hello.
Try to put the phone into Download/Emergency mode manually. To enter emergency mode, disconnect cable, disconnect battery, press and hold «Vol+» button and connect USB cable. |

@lios16 This error may occur due to boot loader damage. You can try to repair your device with Software which supports it via eMMC. |

Hello. I have the same problem,the phone does not get into emergency/download mode it only shows: DOWNLOAD MODE Loading ………
Press the Volum Up key until you see the download screen
Secure booting Error! Alright,so when i try it without battery it just shows a battery with an exclamation mark next to it,the phone is not detected in any mode/way at all.Is there a solution to the phone not being detected? |

Don’t waste your time. Even when it can be done through download mode, at 1, 2 or 3 months later come back in black screen and qualcomm HS-USB 9008… Those phones need an eMMC replacement. |

If phone doesn’t enter Download/Emergency mode — phone has it’s boot loaders damaged. Unfortunately device in such condition can’t be processed with Octoplus/Octopus LG Software. |

Z3X имеется, так же как и Z3X Easy Jtag… Jtag нет модели этой и рапиновок на проц не нащёл, а в самом Z3X коннект только Diag, либо fastboot, либо полностью живой аппарат. Или я ошибаюсь? Вот octopus возможно, но при нынешнем курсе…

Octoplus/medusa jtag pro box через direct eMMC (6 проводков припаять и подымать) В теории пока в отпускe- можете в Кременчуг завезти- подыму, ну или же искать у себя в городе карабасы для работы с еММС и самостоятельно

Все востанавливется и без бксов. Смотря в каком режиме телефон определяется компьютером. Если QHBL9008 — то нужен .TOT файл прошивки и программа BoardDiag. Если пишет ошибку безопасности и невходит в download — то надо не выдергивая акб повторно воткнуть усб. Он определиться как флешь накопитель. Форматнуть его и записать дамп. Затем прошить.

Действительно,более детально опишите! Так-как бут залил,но ничего не изменилось! Если сможете опишите 100% рабочую схему(так как с Medusa Pro.6 припаяных проводков-все ок)но мало-того что зачитывает через раз,а делать с телефоном ничего не хочет! Такое вот…,последнее первое в мире решение..,просто нет слов!
Покупать совсем не обязательно,он в свободном доступе…,дальше с этим,то что делать-бут востановлен,но ничего не меняется!

У меня после передергивания кабеля опредилился диск на 64 мегобайта . Подскажите что надо записать на этот диск ..

1. Определяется в Windows как Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
2. Раскирпичивание с убунту не было результативным, т.к. определялось всего несколько дисков (5-8 шт)
Что нам понадобиться:
1. Заряженный смартфон
2. Исправный USB кабель
3. Прямые руки, трезвый и ясный ум, а так же хорошее зрение!
Сам процесс:
1. Скачиваем BoardDiag2.99a и TOT файл прошивки для ВАШЕЙ модели
Так же скачиваем драйверы, если по каким-то причинам драйверы не установились (часто возникает на Win8/8.1/10)
2. Разархивировать скаченные архивы на Диск С в папку Unbrick и туда же положить файлы прошивок
3. Отсоединяем батарею от смартфона(пробуйте и с подключенной)
4. Подключаем смартфон к компьютеру и запускаем программу
5. Затем заполняем все указанные поля:
AP Chipset: W3 W5 (ms8610)
Com Port: смотрим номер порта в диспетчере устройств на компьютере
Target Dir: указываем папку C:Unbrick
Image Extraction: для распаковки скаченной прошивки
BIN: указываем .tot файл прошивки
DIR: указываем папку C:Unbrick
6. Нажимаем кнопку Extract и ждём завершения процесса
7. Отмечаем галочками следующее:
AP check
EMMC TEST
8. Нажимаем кнопку START и ждём завершения процесса
8. Закрываем программу, отключаем смартфон от ПК. Полностью выключаем смартфон(передернуть аккамулятор)
9. Переводим смартфон в Download mode
10. Прошиваем смартфон официальной прошивкой

Всем привет,поднял я то чудо устройство..обошелся сбором информации по всем чудесным форумам)
что и как постараюсь описать как получится!если что спрашивай что не поймешь!
1.для начала качаем прошивку в ТОТ формате!(если не найдешь скину куда будет удобно)
2.качаем программу BoardDiag v2.99a
3.Инструкция взята с соседнего форума..сильно не ругайте если что!
Chipset: W3 W5 (ms8610)
Com Port: смотрим номер порта в диспетчере устройств на компьютере
Target Dir: указываем папку C:Unbrick
Image Extraction: для распаковки скаченной прошивки

если телефон не заходит в режим прошивки то действуем дальше по схеме!!
Вариант номер 1.. телефон в программе BoardDiag v2.99a пишет что он не может переключится в режим загрузчика(соответственно мы не можем проделать с ним выше указанные манипуляции…
что мы делаем!берем снимаем защитный экран!Добираемся до флеш памяти,и ищем наши безотказные тест поинты..замыкаем как всегда по всем правилам замыкания!)Вот и чудо! телефон определится как нужно программе!!соответственно не забываем за драйвера и прочее!!
если все сделать как написано(как было в моем случае с двумя донорами) то будет вам рабочий аппарат!

НЕТ!!! Тест поинт замыкается без снятия ЕММс. Это показан пинаут ЕММс.

Я замыкал cmd (желтый на фото)
Я это делаю пинцетиом) один край на массу второй cmd держишь и подключаешь юсб к кому! Как только определился телефон убираешь пинцет!
Все делай предельно аккуратно!
