Some specific cases can lead to Substance 3D Painter crashing while exporting, especially at very high resolution (such as 4K or 8K). Below is a list of the most common sources of this issue.
TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery)
The Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) is a safety mechanism of Microsoft Windows to prevent a GPU from locking up the system with a never ending computation. This mechanism is unfortunately too restrictive for Substance 3D Painter by default.

Low Virtual Memory
Exporting can consume a large amount of RAM (Computer Memory), in which case the system will try to fallback on the virtual memory if the system runs out of RAM. The virtual memory is usually additional memory stored on hard disk drives. If the virtual memory size is too small, Substance 3D Painter will crash because it ran out of total memory.

Lack of Disk Space
Since the introduction of the Sparse Virtual Textures (SVT) Substance 3D Painter can stream out on the disk some cache to balance performances. If there is not enough free space on your disk, it may lead to a crash because the application wasn’t able to transfer and write the cache.
The cache location can be moved from the default system temporary files folder. For more information see: Sparse Virtual Textures.
Overclocked GPU frequency
Overclocked GPUs can often be more unstable because they run of frequencies that weren’t initially designed by the GPU constructor. It may helps to disable the overclocking for a while.

Hello Everyone this is my problem,
When i want to export my texture from substance painter with the Renderman Plugin i get an error «[Plugin — RenderMan] rman: failed to retrieve project url» it’s weird because everything is correclty set so if anyone get a issue could be great. I use the last verion of substance painter 2018.2.3 and the 22.2 of Renderman.

I’ve got the same problem, on Windows and on Mac!
I’m using Maya2018, Renderman 22.1 and Substancepainter 2018.3
I installed python2.7 (by default) and I set the paths for the plugin correctly.
Any ideas?

Strange substance painter albedo export error
This is what i have done so far:
Made simple brick shape in 3dsmax, exported to zbrush. Sculpted several bricks,
created an insert mesh brush from about 6 different sculpted bricks.
then made a plane in 3dsmax with the right proportions for my scene. unwrapped and exported the plane to zbrush.
Used the insert mesh brush to make a tileable brick wall by inserting the different sculpted bricks into imported plane.
Exported the whole thing and used it as highpoly in substance painter. Lowpoly was that plane i created before.
This is how it looks in substance painter:
And this is what i get when i export the textures —> Albedo is without any colors.
Any idea what i am doing wrong here?
Also —> i cant change the space between the bricks in substance painter because it only sees the plane for mask selection and not the bricks seperately. Any trick to get only between the bricks with mask selection? or do i have to do it manually ?

так даже 94% это много, это означает что память системы забита до верху, и приложения что уже не знают куда деться, будут крашится от нехватки памяти.

проблема не в памяти. Я даже если ее разгружу, то все равно кариштся. Маски вставить нормально, а вот включить проекцию и оно крашится.

Ну тут два варианта. Либо корявый кряк, либо кампухтер дохлый. Что у тебя по системе?

Ты можешь в документе работать с маленьким разрешением, а во время экспорта выставить нужное. Он автоматом пересчитает все материалы. Так что качество не пострадает. И освободи место на диске. Возможно, он начинает что-то записывать, а места нет..вот тебе и краш

У тебя же внизу на твоем скрине написано, что проблемы с сохранением маски — Unknown Save Error. Может, не хватает места на диске C, либо формат файла, либо имя маски, кириллица в пути/имени и т.д.

Можешь Temp folder вынести на другой диск, если на С места не хватает
