Re: F041
Try updating engine firmware as this is an engine code. Really though, just update all the firmware to be thorough…
But I’m trying, Ringo. I’m trying real hard… to be the Shepherd.

I’ve got conflicting information. I see it as a scanner communication error. May be firmware, may be a scanner or engine PWB fault. Firmware (not Turbo) is always the easiest and cheapest first attempt. Watch for scanner PWB firmware failure. If the firmware takes, but doesn’t solve your problem, try reseating connectors on the scanner PWB and engine PWB (with power off and unplugged, of course).
If you’d like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you’ve read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you’re going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you’re going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: F041
This code is in the manual. The manual tells what the code is related to but not how to resolve it, that is why I posted the solution that I found.
