Error had just been sent home from school. 
                          
Again. 
                          
He stepped inside his house, flung his bag on the floor and fell face first onto to couch, frustrated. 
                          
"Error?" CQ called as she peaked her head around the kitchen door. "What are you doing home from school? What happened now?"



  


                       
  




                          
"Fresh" Came Error's muffled voice. 
                          
"Oh now what's happened?" 
                          
She's clearly used to this. 
                          
Error sat up. 
                          
"He just doesn't get it mom! He doesn't get why I'm mad at him all the time! He doesn't get why Genos in the hospital! He doesn't get feelings!" He crossed his arms and huffed out, annoyed. 
                          
CQ sighed. "Error, sweetheart. You know that Fresh doesn't do it on purpose. He can't help it. Being an Empath is something that needs to be worked on, not provoked"
                          
"But mom--"
                          
"No buts Error you need to be helping your brother not pushing him away. Where is he actually?" She asked, half expecting Fresh to be with Error when he came Home. 
                          
"I don't know. Went off somewhere"
                          
"You didn't stay with him?! He could be anywhere!!" CQ started to freak out with worry. 



  


                       
  




                          
"Not like I care.."
                          
"ERROR!" CQ yelled, angry. 
                          
"WELL ITS N-NOT LIKE HE CARES FOR ME!!!!!" Error began glitching as he ran upstairs and into his slamming the door in the process. 
                          
CQ sighed as her phone rang. 
                          
It was her friend Com. 
                          
She answered. "Hello?"
                          
"Hey CQ I have Fresh here"
                          
"Oh thank god" CQ sighed in relief 
                          
"You can come pick him up. We can have a chat if you like?"
                          
"Um...alright."



  


                       
  




                          
"Great. Ink can play with Error" 
                          
"Aright. See ya" 
                          
"Bye"
                          
CQ hangs up and sighs. 
                          
-time skip-
                          
CQ had to literally drag Error out of his room and to Com's house. 
                          
"Mom! I d-d-don't wanna!!" Error glitched, his glasses on. 
                          
"Well too bad Mr." She replied knocking on the door. 
                          
Com opened her front door. "Hello CQ, hello Error"
                          
"Hey Com" CQ said tiredly. The two walk into the house, CQ going with Com into the kitchen and Error to the living room to where Ink and Fresh were. Ink was talking to Fresh, in a way Error had never heard anyone talk to Fresh, it was a kind manor, and understanding one, not angry or mad...just...calm. Fresh looked over to see his elder brother. "Eyyy Glitchy ma bruh!" He greeted, his normal 90's accent seeming forced and fake. "H-Hey Fresh" Fresh was half expecting Error to yell at him, the other half waiting for him to hit Fresh. Neither came. Instead, the black boned skeleton sat by Ink, not another word escaping his mouth as his mind wandered to some place new, a place where, for once, he didn't hate Fresh. 



  


                       
  




                          
The next day, CQ, Error and Fresh drove two miles to see Geno, a now daily thing. CQ had gone out of the room to talk to some doctors, leaving the three brothers alone. 
                          
"S-So how have you guys been?" Geno asked, hoping to break the tension that was present in the room. "F-Fine"
"Great yo! Ma said that if ya get better I might be abal ta get ma gold tooth!!" 
Error growled. Was that all he cared about?! A stupid gold tooth!!?
"Awe that's great Fresh! I'll try my b-best!" Geno giggled, talking Error by surprise. 'H....He doesn't mind?' He thought. He sighed and stood up. I'm gonna go get some water. You want any Geno?" 
"Um yes please Error" 
The middle child nodded and walked out, not bothering to ask Fresh. 
                          
By the time Error got back Geno had fallen asleep. He noticed Fresh had took his cap off and his YOLO shades were on Geno's bed side table. 'Whats he doing?' He waited in the door way, trying not to make a sound and make sure Fresh didn't notice his presence, which he didn't. 
                          
"Is this it? Is this...me? An emotionless nothing with little to no reason to live other then adding more weight on ta moms shoulders. And you...I don't know...maybe you would care but Error...he'd be glad to see me dead...in fact no he'd be sad, only because it wasn't him that'd kill me. I don't mean to be the way that I am but Error just doesn't see that. He gets mad at me all da time, and he hits me. All because of something I can't help? Sometimes I'm glad that I don't have feelings, if I did what would the uncontrollable despair and pain feel like? Awful ah bet..." 
                          
Error was shocked, not only did he know that Fresh could go so long without saying one of his trash 90's sentences, but how real his whole speech sounded. He looked at the bed to see Fresh was gripping Geno's hand, but not too tight. He silently walked over to his younger brother, getting a closer look. He silently gasped when he saw small droplets of water fall onto the white sheets of the bed. Was Fresh...crying?! No... Error refused to believe it. It wasn't possible, was it?! 
                          
It was unknown to Fresh of Error presence. As was it unknown to how he was crying. It was something he'd never experienced before, so he didn't know what he should do, so he just let it happen, small whimpers escaping his 'lips' everyone once in a while. Error could feel his own tears form. Was his own brother, the person he had yelled at and abused for almost two years for not being able to feel, finally learning emotions? 
                          
Fresh gasped as he felt someone wrap there arms around his torso and bury their face in the back of his jacket, he turned his head to see a black skull crying into him, his arms gripping him tight as the words "I'm sorry" were repeated, Error no longer caring about his Haphephobia. More tears escaped the 90's loving skeleton as he closed his eye sockets tight and gripped Geno's hand more, but still not hurting him. 
                          
Geno's eye sockets slowly fluttered open to the feeling of his hand being squeezed. He looked to his right to see Fresh crying and holding his hand, and Error crying, hugging Fresh. His eye sockets widened, his own tears leaking down his cheek bones. The sight before him was something he'd longed to see. The two boys looked at Geno who was now also crying. Fresh leaned over and hugged him, behind carful of his arm. The three brothers held each other and cried. 
                          
And for the first time in years, they finally felt like a real family. 
                                  

Momma CQ is a group of comics made by AlainaPrana on Tumblr and DeviantArt! It tells the story of Geno, Fresh, and Error when they were little and brothers. It is a long running comic series on both Tumblr and DeviantArt being over 5 parts long currently and 600+ pages long. There are also other well known characters known in this AU such as Ink from Inktale. It is most about the day to day life of Geno, Fresh, and Error.

Characters

Momma CQ

Momma CQ is the first character to appear in Momma CQ. She is the mother of Fresh, Error, and Geno. Her name Momma CQ stands for Crayon Queen the creator of Aftertale, Errortale, Christmas Party, Underfresh, and Blueberror. She is usually with Geno, in particular helping him get from place to place, and in all the hospitals. She usually wears a sweater and has bright pink hair.

Geno

CQ first and oldest son. Suffers from a magic deficiency and 2/3 of his soul is missing. This makes him very prone to random pain, trouble breathing, and he also has a very hard time walking by himself. Hates it when Error and Fresh fight with each other. Wears a white hoodie and a red scarf most of the time. After Geno finds out Error was being bullied at school by pepper he goes to confront Pepper himself. In a fit of rage Geno grabs his soul using blue magic and ends up breaking Pepper’s leg.

Error

The second oldest out of the two. Suffers from pixilation syndrome and when put under pressure glitches, stops and reboots. Error is very scared and nervous about being around other people. His social skills are poor, as he always wants to be by Geno. He was also bullied about his crash and reboot problem. Often uses violence to solve problems, especially when it comes to Fresh. He regularly gets angry at Fresh for not caring about Geno. Error is also very attached to his mother and brother Geno. Some times his temper gets the better of him, as he ends up punching Fresh down the stairs in Chapter 14. Most of the time he is wearing a blue, red, and black hoodie with red glasses.

Fresh

Fresh is the youngest brother out of the three and cannot feel emotions very well, making for him to be confused about what happens in certain situations. Fresh is usually chill and wakes up earliest in the morning. Lacks most emotions and that is what makes Error lash at him for not caring about Geno. He even gets punched down the stairs by Error, making him loose a tooth. Wears one of the two 90’s jackets he has and YOLO glasses.

Ink

Him and Error met in pre-school and became one of Error’s first friends. Ink is special, as originally he was a blank empty soul until he was given his first box of crayons. He has ever since been obsessed with color. He has nightmares about Geno, but in the end truly cares for his friends. The color white scares him in some instances. He wears a white shirt with brown overalls, brown gloves and a brown scarf.

Aunt Comyet (Aunt Com)

Aunt Com is the mother of Ink and looks after CQ’s children when she is at the hospital with Geno. She usually wears a sweater that has a white base with black sleeves with a white star like pattern also usually found with a black scarf and has black, orange, and red hair.

Sugar

Was in the hospital for «nutrition». Was there to return Geno’s plush and keep him company in the hospital. His is missing one tooth and talks with a lisp when first introduced. This is no longer the case when he is next seen. Wears a light blue sweater with pink floof at the top. His face looks like a painted sugar skull.

Star

A blue and yellow cat-like person who accompanies Asy to meet the CQ household.

Uncle Asy

The part-time caregiver for CQ. There to help Geno when he needs it. Relates and learns more about Fresh as well. Like a father figure to Geno. Most of the time wears a orange or tan shirt with brown pants.

Decans/Deccy

Also has a magic deficiency and is one of Fresh’s good friends. Usually wears a dark blue hoodie. His eyes are blue and yellow.

Pepper

Pepper is the school bully. After Error steals his swing he decides to punch Error in the face, causing him to crash and reload. This interests him so he continues until Error has enough and decides to grab his soul with his strings. Wears a blue sweater and is half missing a tooth.

Mama Launa

The mother of Sugar and Sour, who becomes friends with CQ. When talking to CQ she says «Hey, I’m a single mother as well. It’s hard to find a good caretaker.» CQ responds by saying «Really I wouldn’t know with my THREE boys one with pixilation syndrome and another with a soul deficiency.” CQ ends up giving Launa the number to the «Agency». Her orange hair is usually in a pony tail and wears either a blue or green shirt.

Sour

The brother of Sugar. Quite aggressive, evidenced from when he lashed out at Error. However, after fighting, him and Error become friends. Sour looks like Sugar, but with a face painted green rather than blue an wears an orange and green sweater. One of his pupils is missing.

Locations

The CQ House

The CQ House is were the story is mainly set. Fresh, Ink, and Error, are often found in the CQ house or around it. Important things happen in the CQ house, such as Fresh falling down the stairs, and Fresh meeting Decans in front of the CQ household.

School

Was only shown in the backstory that Geno tells Asy about Error. The brothers originally went here, but later begun being homeschooled after the incident with Pepper. This is where Error first learned to use his strings.

Daycare

Where Ink and Error first met. Also the place where Fresh first learns about feelings of others after pulling of the head of another little girls doll named «Ms. Molly.”

The Park

Uncle Asy brings Error, Geno, and Fresh to the park to play around for a while. This is where he is able to talk to Fresh about how he can’t feel emotion.

The Hospital/Children’s Hospital

Where Geno is usually found. Geno had had to go from the regular hospital (after they split his ulna) to the Children’s Hospital. At first, he does not even think the Children’s Hospital is a hospital.

Sweet/Sour’s House

When they go to have sweet’s birthday at his house.

The Mall

After Error and Momma CQ meet, Ink they are invited by Aunt Comyet to come to the mall with them. Also where Fresh buys his YOLO glasses.

Deccy’s House

Mentioned when Decans teleported into Fresh’s room, and Fresh mentioned grabbing some of Decan’s medicine while at his house. Later shown in some of the side comics.

Trivia

• It is confirmed from Fresh’s Creator that he is not a Sans, rather a parasite taking control of a Sans. This is confirmed as the reason he has no emotion.
• Physical color copies are available for purchase.
• There is a physical book that you can buy telling the backstory of Uncle Asy.
• Uncle Asy is most likely the Sans from Asylumtale that would explain all the cuts and Band-Aids.
