When i install the witcher 3 the wild hunt and update it to 1.32 it says errors have occurred so never gets updated.

I have uninstalled the game twice already and tried again but the same result,witcher 3 still runs but can’t update it.

I get a more extensive list of error. Don’t know why. I tried reinstalling the new «version» in order to test how’d it work with this patch. And it won’t even apply.

Same issue here. I have reinstalled to get the so-called «fresh» copy, but that didn’t work. I have fiddled with permissions, run as admin, rebooted etc. I still get all the errors you pasted.
I might mention that I only have a 1080ti and it runs just fine on ultra+ and this hotfix is bs.

Thanks, that was a good thought. I saw that earlier and thought the same. I didn’t start the new install (both times) and immediately patched, but the processes show up, but the install window (dings) like something in the background and never progresses. The patch log file is instant as soon as I click the button.
I still get all the errors. I have tried re-installing twice now and I’m done with this hotfix until it works for all.
Like I said, it plays fine on ultra+ with my 1080ti.

1.Скачиваем файл — помогатор по этой ссылке: http://gavitex.com/share/ufsuwsip8
2.Открываем скачанный файл реестра (reg.) блокнотом и меняем путь (в нескольких местах) установленной игры на свой собственный путь куда у вас установлена игра, например в файле помогаторе пути указаны как диск I:\, меняйте I на диск С:\ или на тот на котором у вас установлена игра! Во всех строчках где написано I
3.Применяем этот файл
4.После этой процедуры патч успешно установится.
5. Если у вас пишется что патч уже установлен и обновление патча не устанавливается. В файле прописаны значения «BUILD»=»40» и «VER»=»2.0.0.40» это значения игры версии 1.10, если у вас на данный момент игра выше чем версия 1.10, то меняем цифры 40 в «BUILD»=»40» и «VER»=»2.0.0.40» (в обоих строчках) на 41 (версия игры 1.11) или 42 (версия игры 1.12) или 43 (версия игры 1.12.1) или 44 (версия игры 1.21), сохраняем файл и запускаем его снова, далее уже запускаем установку патча.

Если у вас после установки патча не запускается игра, выдает ошибку о прекращении работы программы (GOG версия игры), то вам нужно делать следующее: идем в папку с игрой, далее в папку bin/x64 из нее удаляем (перемещаем в другое место) файл steam_api64.dll, далее идем по пути bin/ddi из нее удаляем (перемещаем в другое место) steam.dll и игра снова нормально запускается. ВНИМАНИЕ!!! Я не знаю поможет ли вам обратная процедура с удалением GOG’овских dll файлов если у вас установлена Steam версия, мне с версией от GOG помогло надеюсь и вам поможет.

Updating to patch 1.30 (GOG) gives me a metadata.store error, can someone upload a correct version of this file? The games says it updated to 1.30 regardless but I don’t know if the update was complete aside from the error or if it just got partially patched.

I have this problem too, maybe this is related to mod?
Delete Mod folder and run the game once then try to update again, still do not work.

The game creates the same metadata.store regardless of mods being activated or not when starting the game, concluding it is not related to any mods.

Also removed ALL of my mods and this doesn’t seem to fix it.

About Community
All things related to The Witcher… Books, games, TV-series… You name it.
For me (Steam version), updating to 1.30 and verifying the files increased the installed size from ~51 to ~65 GB. While the game works, that does not seem right, perhaps the files are now organized differently because of the GOTY edition, and some old files which are no longer needed duplicate content ?
Edit: never mind, it is solved now, only 50 GB size and no errors.

Have the same problem with vanilla 1.22. No HoS, no BaW. Game shows 1.30 in the menu. Old savegames seem to work.
PS: I have carried out a clean reinstall (uninstalled the game, restart, reinstalled in the following order 1.10, 1.22, dlc 1.22, 1.24, r3 2.0.0.51, dlc 2.0.0.51). Did not get any installation errors on any of the installers this time.

В связи с выходом финального издания Witcher 3: Дикая Охота -ИГРА ГОДА- разработчики выпустили объемный патч, исправляющий множество багов в квестах и геймплее, а так же исправляющий ошибки с рецептами и крафтом снаряжения. Пожалуй это финальный патч для «Геральта».
Версия патча: 1.31 (2.0.0.52) для GOG — версии игры.
Порядок установки патча Witcher 3: Дикая Охота v1.31:
- Обновить игру до патча 1.22 (2.0.0.45) !
- Установить мини-патч 1.24 (2.0.0.46) patch_witcher3_1.22-1.24._2.0.0.46.exe .
- Устанавливаем патч 1.30 (2.0.0.51) patch_witcher3_1.24-1.30_2.0.0.51.exe
- И только после этого устанавливаем патч 1.31 (2.0.0.52), доступный по основной ссылке patch_witcher3_1.30-1.31_2.0.0.52.exe.
Особенности патча Witcher 3: Дикая Охота v1.31:
- хотфикс 1.31 предназначен, чтобы уравнять обычную версию игры + все допы до отдельно вышедшой версии -GOTY- «все включено», однако при этом у всех игр разные скрипты в начинке и многие моды будут отказываться работать.
- правка арабской и турецкой локализации. — залатыны дыры в текстурах одежды Вимма Вивальди.

Хочу установить на Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — мод на интерфейс (E3 2014 UI and HUD (скачал на NexusMods)). Тщательно, прочитал инструкции по установки (на разных сайтах (в том числе и самом NexusMods)). пересмотрел, раз на десять, соответствующее видео, где сказано: если игра не запускается, значит вы сделали что-то не так. Но я задолбался уже мыслить — что я сделал не так: распаковал архив в корневую папку и добавил содержимое из inputs.txt в документыWitcher 3 input.settings (как и было сказано), удалил файлы btHack.ws и btTaskMaintainSpeed.ws, в папке «hacks, по-пути: The Witcher 3 Wild Huntcontentcontent0scriptsgamebehavior_tree tasks hacks, установил Witcher 3 MOD Scripting FIX и даже пробовал полностью менять скрипты.
