@wilkinsona

I suspect that you either have and old and incompatible version of hibernate-core on the classpath, or the jar file has become corrupted. If it’s an incompatible version, you will have to update your pom.xml or build.gradle so that a compatible version is used. We recommend making use of Spring Boot’s dependency management rather than specifying the version yourself. If the jar has become corrupted (this is more likely with Maven than Gradle), you should delete it from the build system’s cache and rebuild your application.

If you require some assistance with either of the above suggestions, please follow up on Stack Overflow or Gitter. As mentioned in the guidelines for contributing, we prefer to use GitHub issues only for bugs and enhancements.

I am facing same issues. How you solve it man?? @bruleom

@khushbukareliya07

I am having the same error. I have also used Springboot’s dependency management and haven’t defined any version !!
How did you solve it ??

Can’t solve this,
But i am sure that there is some dependency error, more specifically version error.

Error processing condition on de.codecentric.boot.admin.config.AdminServerWebConfiguration.adminServerProperties #261

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:

A stacktrace alone isn’t enough to track down an issue. At best you provide a sample project reproducing the issue, at least you should provide following information:

  • Which version of spring boot / spring cloud / spring boot admin are you using?
  • Are you using embedded Tomcat or war-deployment?
  • Have you any special application context configuration or are you trying to integrate the admin into your application?

Sorry. Works great now. I was a bit quick with this issue 😛 Great product!

Hi All,
I got the same exception,

org.springframework.boot
spring-boot-starter-parent
1.3.5.RELEASE

de.codecentric
spring-boot-admin-server
1.5.3

de.codecentric
spring-boot-admin-server-ui
1.5.3

de.codecentric
spring-boot-admin-starter-client
1.5.3

It’s embedded tomcat, and and an integration between spring admin and my app.

sba 1.5.x needs boot 1.5.x

it works now, thanks 🙂

I am trying to use spring admin, i have solrj dependency in pom.xml in the client application,
I got that exception:
server refused connection at: 127.0.0.1:8983/solr. and the status of my app is down, even I am not working on that core and I set my core in a property file and my application is working well.
can you help ?

i was trying to use spring admin ,but when i started the client project ,it happened a problem
Error processing condition on de.codecentric.boot.admin.client.config.SpringBootAdminClientAutoConfiguration.registrator
can you help me?

Error processing condition on io.github.resilience4j.bulkhead.autoconfigure.BulkheadMetricsAutoConfiguration.registerBulkheadMetrics #590

Trying to use resilience4j with spring boot 1.5.3 and 1.5.22 both. Getting the below error

START: Application startup failed java.lang.IllegalStateException: Error processing condition on io.github.resilience4j.bulkhead.autoconfigure.BulkheadMetricsAutoConfiguration.registerBulkheadMetrics

I couldnt find any guides on spring boot 1.

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:

Please also have a look at the Spring Boot 2 demo which is more up-to-date.

@RobWin : I have the exact same maven dependencies as in the spring-boot demo but I am still getting the error.

can you provide your yaml config here for me to try and look at the issue.

@scalablepuppets : I havent added the yml config file yet. I just added the dependencies and trying to startup the app. I believe .yml is not required to bring the app up.

Also if I only add the below dependency as thats what I primarily require, there are no issues starting up the app.

Could you show me your pom file?

Seems you want to use Dropwizard Metrics instead of Micrometer.
Did you add?

After adding the metrics dependecy, getting the below error.

Not sure why, but it seems Hibernate Validator is missing in your app.

I excluded the hibernate-validator dependency coming from resilience4j and now its working fine.
There was a mismatch between the hibernate-validator version from spring boot and the one from resilience4j.

Resilience4j should not have a transitive dependency to the hibernate validator. Why did you exclude it?

Ah it’s framework-common which still has a transitive dependency. I’ve to remove that.

yeah thats correct. its coming from framework-common.

@dhawal9035 — how did you remove the dependency? Did you compile the jars and build locally to use it?

Try to change

2020.0.1

Issue

I am a novice Java Spring programmer. I am moving some test code from an older jHipster project to a new one. I added this to the pom.xml to fix a compilation error. This fixed my compilation issue but caused runtime errors.

<dependency>
   <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
   <artifactId>spring-boot-actuator</artifactId>
   <version>1.5.7.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>

I am now getting these runtime errors.

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Error processing condition on org.springframework.boot.actuate.autoconfigure.metrics.MetricsEndpointAutoConfiguration
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not find class [org.springframework.boot.actuate.metrics.MetricsEndpoint]

 <spring-boot.version>2.2.5.RELEASE</spring-boot.version>

If I remove spring-boot-actuator

incompatible types: java.time.Instant cannot be converted to java.util.Date
cannot access org.springframework.boot.actuate.endpoint.mvc.EndpointMvcAdapter
method does not override or implement a method from a supertype

Does anyone know how to fix?

Solution

There seems to be an issue with the dependency. First, do not specify the version unless you are very sure there won’t be any dependency conflicts. This is one reason spring-boot is so popular that you need not to worry about dependencies and their compatibility. Let spring-boot handle that. The compatible version will inherit from the parent.

The other issue is, why use spring-boot-actuator? you should be using the spring-boot-starter-actuator

Here’s a sample pom

<parent>
    <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
    <version>2.1.8.RELEASE</version>
    <relativePath/> <!-- lookup parent from repository -->
</parent>

And then in dependencies

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-actuator</artifactId>
    <scope>provided</scope>
    <!-- Spring will find the version compatible with the parent -->
</dependency>

Hope this helps

Her is what I did to remove this error,

I simply removed the unwanted hibernate properties and booted the application and working as expected.

my POM XML:
