Error processing package initramfs tools

Вовремя одно из обновлений, у меня поломался initramfs-tools При установке любого пакета появляется следующее сообщение. dpkg: error processing initramfs-tools (--configure) Подскажите как вылечить данную ошибку.

Вовремя одно из обновлений, у меня поломался initramfs-tools

Переименуйте название темы. Добавьте в название темы: dpkg error

apt-get install -f

dpkg --configure -a

Конфигурировать ничего не хочет.

Возможно из-за того что поставил ядро 3,5
Но после установки нового ядра это было пару месяцев назад проблем с обновлением не возникало.

1. Перед install -f надо бы сделать update.
2. А у вас, так, случайно, свободное место на / и /var не того?

Попробуйте загрузить ядро 3.2, удалить ядро 3.5 и обновиться.

Загрузился под ядро 3,2,35 та же история.

Вот хочу попробовать загрузить ядро 3,0,19. По результату отпишусь.

Ниже в сполер засунул текст из терминала.

У меня растёт ЧУЙСТВО, что вам этот пакет не нужен. Т.е. вообще.

Запускайте aptitude и ищите это чудо по названию. Устанавливайте последнюю версию.

нашел но новая версия не ставится
Нашел еще ,что initramfs-tools надо обновить до версии 0,99ubuntu13.1

error while updating initramfs-tools

I am new to Mint. My searches for a solution show that initramfs-tools is very important, but did not yield an understandable solution to the update and reinstall problems.

I am using synaptic on Mint Cinnamon 17.3. During the most recent update, a pop-up window displayed an error message: «E: initramfs-tools: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1«

The following are the installation error messages:

I tried to reinstall and got the pop-up error message: «E: Internal Error, No file name for initramfs-tools:amd64«

I considered uninstall, but too many important packages would also be uninstalled.

What must I do to eliminate the error messages?

Merci pour votre aide. Votre suggestion est le plus apprécié.

Upon deleting initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch and repeating the first group of commands, I found that the error messages no longer occurred with the minor exceptions of the pid>0 and locale not supported. Since the program is not running there should not be a pid and since it is a boot routine, locale will not have been loaded and does not require support. If I am wrong, you may let me know. In the mean time, I think the solution has passed the suggested tests. Now I need to figure out how to mark this as solved.

I can’t get the upgrade to finish, it ends:

This is not a proxmox image installation, it is a package installation running on a linode VM.

Can anyone help me? I have two other nodes but do not want to proceed until this is working.

OK additional information: My other two nodes both updated without error. The node that will not finish the upgrade command, we installed PMG from packages and so it is not exactly the same as the two on-site nodes, see below:

Installed from Proxmox image:
master node : Kernel Version Linux 5.15.53-1-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.15.53-1 (Fri, 26 Aug 2022 16:53:52 +0200)
slave node 1 : Kernel Version Linux 5.15.53-1-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.15.53-1 (Fri, 26 Aug 2022 16:53:52 +0200)

Installed from Packages:
Kernel Version Linux 5.13.19-6-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.13.19-15 (Tue, 29 Mar 2022 15:59:50 +0200)

The PVE 5.13.19-15 Version is installed on a Linode VM out on the internet, but I don’t think that is the problem. The problems seems to be proxmox-boot-tool: not found or run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//proxmox-boot-sync exited with return code 127. The nodes are all upgraded now, and they are all showing synched and running. I am afraid that this version will not be able to upgrade further until I get this failure corrected. I don’t really know where to look.

Hi,
the pve-kernel-helper package contains the proxmox-boot-tool binary. Please ensure that it is installed correctly. It is a dependency of the proxmox-mailgateway package. You might want to install that to make sure all dependencies for Proxmox Mail Gateway are pulled in automatically.

Из этих двух строк вашего вывода я заключаю, что пакет e2fsprogs отсутствует или поврежден: 

Warning: /sbin/fsck.ext4 doesn't exist, can't install to initramfs, ignoring.
E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/fixrtc failed with return 1.

В первой строке прямо указано, что /sbin/fsck.ext4 отсутствует, это файл, предоставленный тот пакет, который я упомянул. Изучая неисправный скрипт, упомянутый во второй строке, выясняется, что для этого требуется /sbin/dumpe2fs, который также предоставляется тем же пакетом.

Чтобы решить эту проблему, вы должны (пере?) Установить e2fsprogs, выполнив: 

sudo apt install --reinstall e2fsprogs

Тот факт, что пакет, содержащий сбойный крючок fixrtc initramfs (initramfs-tools-core), не зависит от, казалось бы, требуемого пакета e2fsprogs, хотя, вероятно, следует рассматривать его как ошибку. Я сообщил об этом на Launchpad здесь.

Обновление:

Поскольку e2fsprogs отказывается от установки, поскольку конфликтует с несовместимой версией libext2fs2, которую вы установили из неизвестного и более недоступного источника в этом процессе мы должны понизить этот другой пакет до поддерживаемой версии: 

sudo apt install --reinstall e2fsprogs libext2fs2=1.44.1-1
