Скорость 38400. Управление потоком — нет. Все как на скрине делал(только почему то в одних источниках надо только эти опции настроить, в других еще в «параметрах ASCII» галки наставить.) Я заземление не подключал к третьему пину винта может из за этого? Хотя вряд ли. Еще надо будет изоляцию проверить со стороны HDD может tx rx случайно воткнутые в винт замыкаются, потому что при подключении к нему в терминале печатается свободно как будто они как бы замкнуты(хотя наверное так и должно быть) :-)

Уважаемые форумчане! Сегодня купил usb-шнур на Siemens c55. На выходе к телефону у него 5 контактов — 1 power, 2,3 — GND? 4 — TX, 5 — RX. Норльно ли, что на GND идет два шнура? С GND винчестера соединять оба шнура?

Если ремонтируемый HDD подключен к БП того же комьютера, к которому подключен data-кабель, то вряд ли.

Посоветуйте что-нибудь, пожалуйста. Делаю все по инструкции showmanа. После нажатия CTRL+Z пару раз винт выключался (винт ES.2). Дальше ничего не получается. После повторного нажатия CTRL+Z, F3 T> не появляется. После нескольких попыток винт перестал выключаться при замыкании контактов, хотя должен — «После замыкания этих контактов, головы в течении 5-7 секунд щелкают, затем двигатель сам останавливается»

при замыкании контактов он выключатся как раз не должен. IMHO. Замыкание контактов необходимо лишь для того, чтобы накопитель не пытался лезть в гермоблок. Но это не отменяет необходимость подавать команду выключения двигателя. Да, я сейчас говорю именно про ES.2.
К тому же Ctrl+Z во время вывода LED:000000CC нажимать бесполезно…. Надо сначала с помощью замыкания прекратить вывод LED:000000CC…
И не могли бы Вы более конкретно описать в каком сейчас состоянии накопитель находится? Что он сейчас пишет в терминал?

После замыкания этих контактов двигатель останавливается, в терминал перестает выпадать сообщении: «LED:000000CC…», нажимаем CTRL+Z, через несколько секунд в окне терминала появляется сообщение: «Input command error» и наконец появляется приглашение «F3 T>», далее вводим все команды как обычно. У меня схема винта как в инструкции выше.
Так вот, я быстро жму CTRL+Z между сообщениями LED:000000CC, эти сообщения останвливаются, появляется F3 T>, двигатель останавливается. Снова жму CTRL+Z, сразу появляется F3 T>. Дальше ввожу /2, затем Z, и т выдается сообщение «Input command error»

во-первых, у меня «input command error» появлялось, когда я по ошибке команды пытался набирать в русскоязычной раскладке.
во-вторых, у меня сейчас нет возможности повторить эксперименты (нет кроликов, увы)
в третьих, ну, вводите /2, Z, а дальше что происходит? Приглашение терминала горит?
на всякий случай подчеркну, что пинцет нужно убирать ПОСЛЕ того, как снято питание с двигателя.

После ввода /2, появляется F3 2>, затем, после ввода Z, появляется «Input command error», и в дальнейшем на все команды выдается сообщение «Input command error»

Винт заработал. После замыкания контактов, двигатель выключался. Я пытался следовать инструкции Showmana c первого пункта

Доброй ночи форумчвне буквально ну может месяц назад восстанавливал свой сигейт ST3500320AS от «мухи СС «и прошил его SD1A, всё было прекрасно до сегодняшнего дня, диск стал заметно потрескивать и пощёлкивать система WIN 7 выдала что диск в критичесском состоянии и делай бакеп(чему я последовал) а программа Hard Disk Sentinel показала вот что:

есть винт STM3500320AS s/n 9QM6ENHJ firmware MX15 в биосе определяется 0, WinXP как устройство видит. Собрал систему со шнурком от сименса C-55 с 3-мя проводками
прочитал статью showman:Если винчестер определяется размером 0 байт (LBA 0), то нужно выполнить всего лишь одну команду в терминале:

F3 T>m0,2,2,,,,,22 в терминале жму CTRL+Z далее F3 T> ввожу m0,2,2,,,,,22 Потом появляется сообщение вида:

Max Wr Retries = 00, Max Rd Retries = 00, Max ECC T-Level = 14, Max Certify Rewrite Retries = 00C8

F3 T> Отключаю все пробую прошить ни чего не получается выдает Error: Specific model not found. ST31000333AS expected.
Подскажите что не так и что FreeDOS а там архив ke2035asrc

Выдавить из bat’ника, который используется для прошивки STM3500320AS, строку «ST31000333AS expected» — это надо очень сильно постараться .
Можно сдуру скачать и для ST31000333AS, но при этом уже можно вопросов и не задавать .

Похоже, я один из первых, кто поймал LBA 0 на винте 7200.12. Пока мало что ясно, вечером работал, утром определяется в БИОСЕ нулевым размером.
Прошивка CC33, размер 500 гиг. Модель ST3500418AS.
Сейчас попробую подлючить терминальный адаптер и посмотреть, что пишет — вот только неделю назад залечил от мухи CC свой 7200.11, и тут снова засада!!!

UPD: В биосе определятся, как ST500410AS. При подключении шнурка выдал что-то довольно вразумительное, не помню точно — по смыслу — мой размер 0.
После Ctrl-Z выдал приглашение, ввел ему для проверки команды остановки и раскрутки шпинделя, после команду пересчета транслятора.
В биосе определяется теперь как 500 гиг. В системе его, увы, не видно, возможно тому причиной то, что у меня все еще на рабочем компе стоит 2000 винда.
Зато при попытке загрузиться с проблемного винта возникает лого ВинХР, после чего все гаснет и уходит на перезагрузку. Так что винт наверняка жив, просто ему не нравится окружение.
Виктория говорит, что Смарт гуд, проверка поверхности проблем не выявила.
Так что, по первому впечатлению, все еще в состоянии аффекта — сигейт свою репутацию мочит как хочет.

Пардон, надо было записывать. При подключении к терминалу винт выдал Rst 0x10M
А при следующем, уже после пересчета транслятора:

Ну раз никто ничего не пишет, выдам свою дилетантскую версию происходящего.
Как уже писали, если винт вываливается в LBA 0, он тем самым нас предупреждает о проблемах с физической частью.
Бегите, спасайте данные. Staggered spin bypass — это вот оно и есть, проблемы с физикой? Дешевая комплектуха, про которую писали?

первое сообщение — ошибка о работе с модулем служебки
второе — вполне допустимо. Staggered spin — это всего лишь отложенный старт накопителя. Нужен лишь при работе в больших массивах.

А скепсиса я сам могу нагнать боооольшую волну.

I would apreciate some help with this one.

I’ve recieved this drive the following issuse :

The drive aparently suffered from impact/fall and was removed from the external case to attempt recovery. I don’t know what was done to the drive and i’m trying to get access to the data, or at least fix the drive.

When connected to windows the drive can’t be read at all. The person trying to extract data prior to me attempted some logic tools like R-Studio without success, because the drive would just go offline as soon as he tried to pull data out of it.

I’ve checked the drive and it doesn’t apear to be doing any strange noise, apart from some realocation/add to pending head movment at start up.

Can’t access it on a logic way (Restorer, R-Studio, etc …) so i connected it to the terminal.

Guess that the drive might be suffering from the NRG-List problem, but i’m not sure of it, as it was dropped and heads/PCB might be damaged as well :

Need some help, what should i check next ?
Because the drive sustained impact i think it might have head/pre-amp issues or even pcb issues apart from problems with translator ?
What would be the best way to fix it ?

My hope is that if i can have the drive to scan at all with MHDD i can than assign the defects one by one to bypass the issue with the NonResident G-List later. The problem is that the drive will go off-line as as trying to access it, with the error described. Because the drive keeps trowing the R/W Status 1 R/W Error 00000080 Ready And also because drives with NRG-List issue will normaly provide partial access (up untill it reach one LBA) and on my case drive doesn’t even scan. Any help ? Tryed to regen translator, even knowing about NON-Resident G, but i can’t do so. Most of the commands fail and even when i’ve sucess with m0,2,2,,,,,22 i still can’t access a single LBA. I allways get the message RW subfile error 201f when trying to use the m0 variants, a thing that doesn’t happen with other 7200.12 drives that i have here. I think Heads and Pre-Amp should be fine because i can run all of te Batch files on /6 and the drive pass them all …. RW: Error processing Performance Parameter File: 203C and i said one thing that u did wrong to used translator fix in this problem. ur problem is not big but now u make it big urself. by ur other terminal post see unrecoverable error rates is going high that not in first. and congretulation ur drive is in partial sector accesibility problem why u get this too much unrecoverable error. if i have this drive i can make this case solved easily and also my solution make this drive again usable. sorry for my bad english. yours friend jignesh pankhania

If not can you indicate if it’s a damaged SA module, and if so, what broken module would do such thing ? Also i didn’t start with translator fix. I started by trying to disable relocation using this : F0A2,00,22 F01E4,00,22 F057C,043C,22 And the commands DID work intro placing the drive in a mode where relocation was stopped at start. Yet no data could be access and no sectors could be addressed. Drive IS NOT in partial sector accesibility. I can’t access ANY LBA at all. With 7200.12 with cleared NRG-List when translator is regened some sectors can be accessed untill drive reaches first «bad» on NRG-List. That sector have then to be added by hand and so on …. On my case the drive didn’t read anything from start, neither it reads now. Also another 7200.12 drive that i own and was aquired with cleared G-List and translator regenerated, even when displaying data on NRG (V40) could be formatted using m0,5,1,3,5,,,22 — F3T Fix on STCom tools. This drive can’t be formated at all, neither by this way neither using other variants of m0. Because the drive was dropped i don’t believe it’s a firmware issue, and the drive is going to the bin anyway. If data can’t be access it’s no big deal, i would have liked to at least «save» the drive even loosing the data, but if that is not possible either, no big deal. If you can help me out with some clues or ideas of something to try, please let me know. I don’t have the drive here with me but it could be a reasonable way to see if the drive reads at all. In any case i was assuming that the drive was reading because it was displaying values when i tryed to issue the commands to check for Non-Resident G (V40) — the drive have to fetch that from firmware, so firmware heads at least were working, and the drive didn’t produce strange noise. Maybe the heads are not very good and that prevent translator initialization, or something is wrong with pre-amp or read/write channel. Guess that in the future i might use your hint ! Joined: May 16th, 2009, 9:32 Posts: 329 Location: UNited Kingdom	I’ve got a 500GB ST3500418AS CC34 Barracuda 7200.12 giving the «Error processing Performance Parameter File: 203C» error Recognised at SATA interface passport ok smart reads as BAD some sectors read ok many give crc errors (to be rechecked) Terminal gives Error processing Performance Parameter File: 203C 2 heads V4 — lots (TBI) V40 3 entries reading sectors from terminal — ok so far eg LBA 0 Bought it very cheap (on ebay, advertised as having bad sectors) for my 7200.12 NRG list experiments etc viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27618 Plan to look for any real data on it, and explore the chances of recovering data, before doing any ‘low level’ m0, formatting on it (as I usually get carried away and actually just overwrite the drive (with 00’s or 77’s) to ‘refurbish’ it) Did manage to largely ‘refurbish’ a 1TB 7200.12 through m0, commands, see viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27731

HDD Seagate ST3500418AS (хотя в BIOS-е определяется как ST3500410AS) был поставлен в рабочий ПК, работал нормально. Бывало только раза 3 драйвер на «Контроллер IDE» выставлял вдруг ему режим PIO, устранялось переустановкой драйвера . Затем вдруг HDD стал заметно медленнее работать при считывании с него, проверка MHDD показала 2-3 поврежденных сектора и после перезагрузки, система стоящая на соседнем диске стала очень медленно загружаться, постоянно горел индикатор обращения к HDD и так не загрузилась, подкидывание HDD на другие ПК показало те же результаты. Если подключиться к диску терминалом через MAX232, диск при включении сообщает: Rst 0x10M (P) SATA Reset PASS RW: Error processing Performance Parameter File: 203C No Phy: Staggered spin bypass Могу провести опрос другими командами чз терминал. Как я понимаю у диска проблема в S.M.A.R.T. Нужно спасти хотя бы данные, ну очень важны! Пожалуйста, прошу помощи у знающих людей!

Виктория сказала что смарт ошибочно работает и диск она определила некорректно, MHDD определил корректно и даже сканировать стал но оочень много сбойных секторов показал. Вот фото сканов обоих утилит.

у меня 2 одинаковых жестких диска. никак не могу сделать так что ды они вместе работали. всегда видит только один. перепробовал все конфигурации джамперов, не помогает. подскажите что можно сделать.

О! я сам разобрался. какие модели не знаю. но в диспетчере устройств писал что st3500418AS. я просто зашел в «Мой компьютер-Панель управления-Администрирование-Управление компьютером-Управление дисками» Там просто свободная память была не определена. я её сначала определил, а потом сделал из нее логический том, и в «Моем компьютере» появился новый диск. (это для тех у кого возникнет такая же проблема) =)

Подскажите пожалуйсто… При загрузке компьютер выдает что то типо No Hard disk is Detected.. Потом когда все загружается отображает из 500гб только 100, что можно сделать?

нет, не было, быстро определяется без проблем, также иногда подкидываю его хотплагом, к pci sata sil3512, тоже быстро детектиться в винде.
нет отдельного к пк к сожалению, чтоб систему на нем погонять, только вот с которого пишу.
но на нем могу тесты гонять круглосуточно, тк подкинуть все время к sil3512.

да, все время запускается реконструкция в терминале, но с самого начала, до применения команд (ниже написал каких), про реконструкцию ничего не писал!
жаль нет такого же другого посмотреть также в терминале.
я теперь запутался совсем, что мне делать, можно ли его оставлять под данные или лучше избавляться не пойму?
