Error unrecognized command found at position

Добрый день!
Был запороленный коммутатор A3100, с помощью подключения по консоли в режиме загрузки был сброшен пароль и стерт startup конфиг, перезагружен по питанию. После этого приглашение сразу выпадает в формат:

Не спрашивая логина, пароля.
список возможных команд урезан, то есть он не админский, поднять привилегии командой _cmdline-mode on не получается, ругается, что нет такой команды.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как попасть в режим администратора.

Попробуйте ввести system-view вместо _cmdline-mode on

Есть два свича:
3Com 4200G 48-портовый
3Com 4200G 24-портовый
Соединены через 10-гигабитные модули XFP и оптику.

В документации Switch_4200G_CG_V3.02.03_6W100 описано, что стэк делается простенько одной командой stacking ip-pool
+ там же
The Switch 4200G series switches can form a stack only when connected through interfaces on 10 GE stack boards.

но свич мне на это говорит:

system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[4200G]stacking ip-pool 194.204.54.254 2
^
% Unrecognized command found at ‘^’ position.
стрелочка показывает на слово stacking
типа — иди домой, не знаю я такой команды.

И в документации 4200G_Command_Reference_Guide_v3.2.1 действительно нет такой команды.
Ничего не пойму. Куда команда исчезла? Может прошивки разные?
Или может что-то ещё надо сделать? Физически или логически.
Ну к примеру не существует такой команды, тогда каким образом их в стэк связать? Он же Stackable.
В кластер их объединил, но это не то.

В документации написано, что устройство-командир после создания стэка АВТОМАТОМ подхватит устройство-кандидат и сделает его мэмбером. »

А не требуется ли каких-либо действий чтобы устройство стало кандидатом?
Например в какой-либо домен управления, общий для обоих устройств создать или т. п?

А на кандидате после staking enable что выдает?

Видимо всё-таки в железе дело. Только с моим английским я никак не врублюсь у меня модули неправильные или всё-таки кабель? Или у меня всё нормально?

А кабель — обычная оранжевая оптика — я так понимаю.

To form a stack of 4200G’s you need to order the Ethernet stacking modules and the stacking cables.

a stack of 2 requires 2 stacking modules and 1 stacking cable.

for each additional switch added to a stack requires another 2 stacking modules and a stacking cable
(для каждого последующего свича, добавляемого в стек, требуется еще 2 стекирующих модуля и стекирующий кабель)

a stack can not be resilient, meaning you can not connect a stacking cable from the bottom switch to the top switch in a stack.
(стек не отказоустойчивый (resilent), поэтому не надо пытаться дополнительно соединить стекирующим кабелем верхний и нижний свичи, т.е. «закольцевать», как например у Cisco или Nortel)

Stack Characteristics
ports in the same link-aggregation group must be on the same switch in the stack.
You can not have ports in switch 1 of the stack and ports in switch 2 of the stack members of the same link-aggregation group.
(Порты одной LinkAgregation группы не могут разводиться на разные члены стека. Т.е нет аналога SMLT — Nortel, или Distributed EtherChannel — Cisco)

Если приглашение вида:

перейти в режим менеджера — enable,

sw# — это режим менеджера,

перейти в конфигурационный режим — configure,

Looks like the issue is "assymetric" ? send_config_set() works perfectly, this appears to be a problem to read from the terminal.

@oysteingy What happens if you set the global_delay_factor?

Thanks for the swift reply. Unfortunately, I saw no noticeable difference. (I’ve also tried to run the command ‘display vlan’ rather then ‘display current-configuration’ as the output from the first command is a single line and hence should be less time consuming to the read the output from.

Any update on this topic ? I’m starting to use netmiko to interact with Huawei devices MA5600T Series OLTs and I’m facing the exact same issue.

@corvis84 Can you enable the session_log and show what you are seeing?

You would enable the session_log using code similar to this:

net_connect = ConnectHandler(**huawei)

That should create a file named output.txt in the current working directory. Can you post the contents of that file here (you can obfuscate anything that is confidential).
