Hello, i have been trying for over an hour to create a new account for my brother, sice csgo is free, and whenever i try to create a new account, i get the error: «There was a problem creating your Steam account, please try again later.»

What is this error?

How can i avoid it?

Try a browser or client. Don’t copy and paste your password into the box, it doesn’t usually register when people do that (least it didn’t for me). Reboot the machine before doing any of this first.

Yep, i do, and i’ve tried it on my other 2 laptops and my phone. None worked.. :/

Nobody is gonna be able to help me, as far as i’ve seen, i’ve googled my problem, but nothing literally comes up, just a simillar error but not the same, and i’ve tried the fix for that similar error, nothing is working..

One thing I can suggest.

Upload a screenshot of the error, so we can see the error for ourselves. Since you tried other devices, it’s either a server problem or something in your internet or router settings which can possibly block Steam registering accounts. That last bit may not be the case, I know, but it can happen.

Page tries to load forever.

Edit: Scratch that, the game eventually did load. except the menu buttons don’t display on the main menu. Not sure if this is just an issue on my end or not.

Edit 2: Nope, nevermind. Auth ticket issue persists.

I keep getting this error every time I try to access the game. I am accessing it from Steam, can access the Steam Community with Shift+Enter in-game as usual, but for some reason it’s as though it is not syncing up with Steam. Is this a known issue?
