Unsupported Game Version detected
If you get the error shown below, this article will help you downgrade or upgrade your game to the correct version of American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Whenever American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2 is updated by SCS Software you will need to downgrade your game until TruckersMP pushes an update to support the new version.
Updating TruckersMP to the new version may take some time, we also do not have an average waiting time for the new updates. Once we support the newest version, it will be posted on our socials and our Discord.
To upgrade/downgrade ATS or ETS2 you need to open Steam. After doing that follow these steps:

- Open your Library
- Right-click on American Truck Simulator / Euro Truck Simulator 2
- Open Properties…
- Head over to Betas
=> Here you need to find the correct version. If TruckersMP is fully updated and supports the new version, you need to select «None».
For ETS2 select:
None
For ATS select:None
-> If SCS updated the game you need to find the latest supported version by TruckersMP. You can find that version in the error message when you try to launch ATSMP / ETS2MP. After you know the supported version, try to search for that version in your Steam Settings.
Note: Downgrading your game isn’t always possible. We recommend disabling automatic updates for both ATS and ETS2.
If your game already has the correct version — Old Launcher
If your game already has the correct version but you still receive that error message, try to follow these steps:
As an example we will do this with ETS2. You can do the same with ATS and all ATS files/locations.
Step 1
- Open Steam and go to your Library
- Right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open Properties…
- After the Properties window has opened click on Local Files tab and press Browse Local Files…
- A folder with game files will open, then copy the path to this folder
Step 2
- Click Start -> Run (or WIN+R)
- Type
regeditand hit enter - Follow the path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARETruckersMP - Double click on
InstallLocationETS2 - Paste the previously copied path in

Да, с этой ошибкой каждый из нас встречался, но не многие знают что произошло, из-за чего ошибка и что делать?
В очередной раз внесём ясность по этому поводу, т.к. с выходом новых патчей тема вновь актуальна как никогда:
Что это вообще?
Данная ошибка не является критичной, поэтому не нужно паниковать. Это даже не ошибка, а сообщение о том, что установленная у вас версия игры не поддерживается клиентом мультиплеера.
Почему появилось это сообщение?
С выходом нового патча игры, клиент Steam в автоматическом режиме загружает обновление и устанавливает, а значит и версия игры отлична от установленной до этого момента.
Клиент мультиплеера адаптируется и поддерживает определённую версию патча, а т.к. после обновления игры номер версии изменился, то и мультиплеер будет отказываться работать с этим патчем игры — он ведь ещё не адаптирован.
Именно об этом и сообщает данное сообщение:
для ATS
Обнаружена не поддерживаемая версия игры!
Необходимая версия игры: ver.1.31.2s
Установленная версия игры: ver.1.32.2.86
Вам нужна помощь в «откате» версии игры?
для ETS2:
Обнаружена не поддерживаемая версия игры!
Необходима версия игры: v.1.31.2.1s
Установленная версия игры: v.1.32.2.49

Как это исправить чтобы вновь играть?
Исправить это можно только одним способом — произвести «откат» версии игры. Делается это так:
► Зайти в библиотеку через клиент Steam
► Правой кнопкой мыши выбрать игру
► Нажать «Свойства»
► Выбрать вкладку «БЕТА-ВЕРСИИ»
► В списке выбрать:
— Для ETS2 — «temporary_1_31 — 1.30.2.1 for incompatible mods»
— Для ATS — «temporary_1_31 — 1_31.x for incompatible mods «
► Дождаться загрузки и обновления файлов игры
► Войти в мультиплеер.
Но в сообщении написано нужна версия v.1.31.2.1s!
Да, в Steam вы не найдёте конкретной версии игры. Чтобы не путаться и не переживать — запомните: v.1.31.х.x для ETS2 и v.1.31.х для ATS — где «х» любые цифры. Они обозначают незначительные обновления, которые не влияют на работу клиента мультиплеера.
ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО!!!
Обязательно делайте резервные копии своего профиля при каждом обновлении и/или откате игры!!

Сегодня как вышла обнова решил зайти попробывать,а тут такое.что делать хелп

отключи бету и будет тебе счастье
P.S. Разработчики TruсkersMP не выпускают обновы мульта под бета патчи, да и как писали выше мульт даже под релизные обновы не сразу обновляются.

Кинуть на 1.37 и ждать пока обновится?Просто я кинул и вот чо Сверху 1.37.2 а внизу 1.37.1

в стиме в свойствах игры ставишь так как на скрине, ждешь пока обновиться и запускаешь

P.S. если кратко, то когда выпускают разрабы новый патч на игру, а разработчики мода добавляют поддержку нового патча чуть позже.

кстати иногда бывает, что если ты поиграл на своей основной сохранке на бета патче, то при откате на более старую версию сохранка перестает работать. как конкретно это работает с патчами 1.37 и 1.38 я не знаю. не проверял.

если не находит сохранку и просит создать новую, то попробуй пару раз перезапустить мульт.
если пишет что сохранение с более новой версии и не загружает его, то придется тебе ждать пока обнова 1.38 выйдет в релиз и обновят мульт под неё, ну либо же создать второй профиль и играть пока на нем

when I open TruckersMP to play online shows me the following message:
Unsupported game version detected!
Expected ver. 1.33.2.19s
You have ver. 1.31.2.0
I tried to upgrade from steam, betas, with:
temporary_1_33-1.33.x for incompatible mods
public_beta-1.33 public beta
And don’t still works
Please help me!! Thanks

Hi there.I have exactly the same problem, as you are replying to.
TruckersMP, has updated their software as well as SCS.
Somewhere, something is not talking to each other. Is there perhaps a way I can send a log file to you, to see what and maybe where the problem is?

Hi there.
I am having exactly the same issue as you:
ETS2 game version is Steam is 1.36.2.55s, but
TruckersMP detects I have game version 1.36.2.24 installed.
If i downgrade the game within Steam, TruckersMP does not detect the downgrade at all.
I can only play the game in single player mode.
Please help me here.

This is still the wrong forum, but MP currently needs ETS2 1.36.2.55s.
It has already been pointed out above that all you need to do is choose «opt out» in Steam’s ETS2 betas list.Cheers
