Fightcade — это соревновательная платформа для ретро игр (в большинстве своём файтинги), построенная на нескольких эмуляторах

Для начала, заходим на сайт и скачиваем саму платформу, устанавливаем, благо делается это в два клика

Также не забудьте зарегистрироваться

После установки нам нужно закинуть zip файлы с самой игрой, и тут пути немного отличаются:

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 и Street Fighter Alpha 3

Идём по пути C/Users/Пользователь/Документы/Fightcade/Roms/ и закидываем эти файлы:

Street Fighter 3:Third Strike

Идём по пути C/Users/Пользователь/ Документы/Fightcade/emulator/fbneo/ROMs и закидываем zip файлы:

C установкой закончили

А как играть то?

Прежде всего заходим в аккаунт:

Теперь жмём на эту хренотень:

Нам выдается список с огромным количеством лобби:

Ищем установленные нами Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Street Fighter Alpha 3 и Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, благо тут есть поиск

Как можете заметить, добавленные тобой лобби остаются сбоку. Однако есть одно но: в обычной версии доступно только 3 под лобби. Если хотите больше — прошу на Patreon страничку Fightcade. Надо же как-то жить проекту

Ну и дело за малым — заходите с друзьями в одно лобби (ну или просто погонять с рандомами)

И вызываете братишку (или рандома) на бой

Hello all,

I have another issue with new Fightcade 2 setup
This is now using FinalBurn Neo emu for NeoGeo and CPS but this special version for FC2 disabled triple buffer.
The result is now tearing and whatever tweak i did can’t get rid of this tearing.

I’ve tried modeline 304×224 to match emulator choice, I also setup super resolution and use 2560×224  and both have tearing. I’ve tried different bitter, same issue.

did someone successfully setup 15Khz setup Native Res with new FC2 ?

btw, I’ve tried RedGGPO which use also FBNeo, it’s even worse while emu is not able to go fullscreen progressif resolution from interlace :(

yes, same for me with FC1, only FC2 is problematic.

Looks like people moving from FC1 to FC2 has now FC2 include NullDCNaomi, then allow more netplay games like CvsS2, MvsC2, Hokutono Ken, etc..
still beta but looks good start

I continue troubleshooting session without any succes.
To provide more details, tearing is really easy to see with games like aero fighters 2

I’ve tried with Win7 HD5xxx , and now Win10 HD5xxx but still the same.
Also, I tried all Blitter, all possibility, native res and super res , but all the same issue.

Nobody using new Fightcade 2 on CRT ?

Steps to create a log:

It seems Fightcade Teams build FinalBurn Neo (Mame code) and remove all possible feature that will add extra frame and will not help with netplay
Maybe that’s why they remove Vsync, triple buffern etc

On downside, looks not working at all with my setup Win7 HD4xxx , FinalBurn Neo will not even launch and crash with error
Maybe it’s time to move my ITX PC to Win10

Is it still Win7 recommanded for CRT emudriver ? or Win10 is now working ok ?

interesting, might be something wrong with my setup, or because I have an HD4xxx with my Win7-64 setup
I will give a try and change for a HD5xxx

By the way, I discover that ddraw.dll from dgVoodoo2 works better than the one Calamity propose for Emulator.
I can now change from interlace to progressive with Direct draw 7 blitter while with the one of Calamity, not working.

Could be an improvement to implement

Sonic Wings 2/Aero Fighters 2 (as well as some other NG games) may very well be the worst game to troubleshoot this — the original hardware’s limitations caused some sort of tearing in many situations:

Thanks for this info but I think this is a good test because I have the real hardware and then this is the perfect way to compare ;)

So, after another day of test, I can say that HD4xxx was the issue.
Win7-64 + HD4xxx = Fightcade2 tearing (because dgVoodoo2 no working)
Win7-64 + HD5xxx = Fightcade2 no tearing (with the help of dgVoodoo2)
Win10-64 + HD5xxx = Fightcade2 no tearing (with the help of dgVoodoo2)

Problem solved (until new FC2 update … ) and I can enjoy CPS/NeoGeo native res on PVM online  :cheers:

your video really show hardware limitation. I would have say that every vertical shoot would shown easily the tearing, just that aero fighters 2 was the first in the list  ;D

Yeah, the video is legit. I meant that using games which have inherent «tearing» for testing this particular matter is nuts, but if you know well how the game originally behaves, don’t mind me.

In general, is a fightcade on arcade cab setup as simple as using crtemudriver and a jpac? I�m planning to build a setup like that but I�m unsure if I�m missing something

Hi, with FC1 i scripted a workaround for my cabinet if you are interested. I don’t installed FC2 yet.

Thanks. I�ve got to have FC2 though. If anyone else knows what to do, here is where I am:

I�ve got the CPS2 and NeoGeo modelines installed, along with 640 x 480

If I run with the base 640×480 in windows resolution, my full screen FBNeo at the correct CPS2 resolution looks like the attached photo.

HOWEVA,

When I right click and switch the background windows resolution to the CPS2 resolution and then full screen FBNeo, it looks perfect. But the fightcade 2 program is unreadable.

Hopefully that adds a nugget of info to anyone trying to figure this out. Hopefully FBNeo has something in the program that allows for resolution switching, but I can�t find it. Thanks for the help anyway.

If anyone are interested, i wrote a launcher for those who have a cabinet frontend like my case. Features:
 — Automatic search games by system and rom file
 — Automatic join into the channel
 — Automatic fullscreen on snes and fightcade v1 (not needed in fightcade v2)
 — Change snes resolution on the fly to 256×224 (view script on process fcadesnes9x.exe)
 — Alt+F4 integrated to the buttons (view script buttons, i use 10 and 12 hotkeys)

Use:
fightcade2_launcher.exe system rom [resolution]

system: fc1,fc2,nes,megadrive,snes,msx,sms,…
rom: basename of the rom
resolution: (optional) by default it’s configured for 640×480 crt. With 1920 argument works on 1920×1080.

I tried to download from your page and it says that there is a virus in the executable, blocked for me.

How do I exactly configure your launcher? Where do I need to place the .exe file and the .ahk file?

I already have Fightcade working here at home.

FBA говнится не может биос Neogeo.zip сожрать


Нашёл Street Fighter 3 ромы, которые должны работать, но не работают. Стример Maximilian Dood играет иногда, но он явно не скинет :)


На данный момент функции восстановления пароля нет, поэтому можно запороть свой логин, что я и сделал. Ромов так и не нашёл. Печаль.


Есть полный рабойчий ром сет, оставляйте свои реквесты какие ромы нужны.
Можно поиграть во что-нибудь, играю в Street Fighter III, Garou: MOTW и Street Fighter Alpha 3.


Voyager, все 3 части SFIII было бы не плохо :) Да в принципе всё, что работает.

Thats pretty cool.

The makefile makefile.mamemingw should work with a default install of the 32bit (and maybe the 64bit) version of http://www.winlibs.com/ So if you wanted to use an up to date compilier without needing the whole of mingw installed.

Thanks Kev, «my» compile environment was given by JacKC as I was «not able» to build it up myself ;-) My plan was to use the MAME compile environment msys2 with everything inside (also git.exe that I must install it now) and the ability to update the tool with the script. I will check your website, maybe it is better to have an up-to-date GCC. Are you using it? Sometime newer builds break the compile process …..

Yeah, I have been using winlibs but primarily I use visual studio. I have several installs of gcc environments as well mostly for helping me fix appveyor but also for building the sdl2 version of FBNeo on windows. It works well with gcc10 though.

Hmmm I can only hear a «beep» when I choose a not existing option in the menu. What Windows-version are you using? (We have only tested it on Windows 10 x64)

I think only «pause» or «choice» commands in my script could generate a «beep». I have not found for both commands an option for disabling «beep»

btw the annoying «beep» is not a problem from my script itself, it is a windows default behavior:

sorry cant help you in that case. I have also played around and some of those «tip» has not worked for me. As it is a system-sound I can not disable it in my script….

You can disable it for a current cmd-line -> set it to mute and don’t close this cmd-line windows anymore ;-)

And for the «go back to the menu» -> read the docu -> change line 24 «set batchpause=on» to «set batchpause=off» -> yeah 1 beep less :-)

I will post soon a new script for compiling windows exe for official builds. It will download the required source direct from github, based on the tags and compiles it. So you can create your own official builds for 1.0.0.0 or 1.0.0.0.2 (of course more to follow ;-))

In the meantime I post a screenshot of my compile environment. I have also created scripts for generate dat-files, full automated, including copy it to my ROMManager (sorry those are private and too complicate to handle) ;-)

Guys, is it possible to build the Fightcade version of FBNeo? (https://github.com/JordiRos/fightcade-fbneo)
I tried several ways but the same error happens. I have experience with other languages, but no C++. I’m feeling this is so trivial for you guys but I’m having a hard time.

The fba_kaillera.cpp is the same file on both official and Fightcade versions, exactly the same. I can build the official FBNeo, but not this one. Could you guys give me some advice?

How you doing guys, came here to ask, I have been playing MvC2 on NullDC Bear for quite some time now, thinking about doing it on FightCade since it seems easier to find people to play, but is it something wrong with it? I’ve heard people complain about it how it plays. As far as I know it has Rollback Netcode


Issue with divergent multi-player

Hello! im having an issue while playing with a friend, we were playing «Minnesota Fats», a billiards game, and sometimes our screen gets different, his screen has the same balls but in different positions… There is a way to fix that? or a reason to that «bug»? I had the same issue some weeks ago playing a beat ’em up game, Final Fight 3 the enemies that were shown on my screen were all in different positions, can someone clarify this to me? I really don’t understand what I’m doing wrong

Whenever I go to use the installer it gets through part of the way and then hits me with an error readin «7zip data error» and closes. Any workarounds?


Game Replay Data Storage? Where to find and display it?

I’m looking for a way to access the replay data for Street Fighter II from fightcade matches.

I know I can download the replay videos, but I am looking for the exact info, like inputs and x-y coordinates for each player. So full match information.

Is this stored in a SQL database, or is there a simple way to access this info?

Help with fightcade on steam deck

I installed the jsons and can launch fightcade however when I try to test game I get error

Steam restart required <2>
This version of the steam Linux runtime requires a configuration update
Please exit steam completely then launch steam again.

I don’t really know how to do the config update the error mentions I’ve restarted my steam deck and have updated all my applications in Linux discover but still pops up any help in fixing this error ?

Cant make fbneo-training-mode work on any game

Hello, I have tried to make the «training» mode work while playing kof2002, and the kof2002 plus.. the training mode via fightcade2 just simply puts me vs a second player, thats all.

I have downloaded the latest release of fbneo-training-mode from the github page , gone to fbneo and add the lua script via browse, which seems to compile correctly and run it.. however this has 0 efffect on the game nor any command (press coin) displayed by the lua script box does anything..

Im having a hard time making this work and Im out of ideas.. help would be appreciate it..

Dont know if it is the BIOS (Input dipswitch) or something else that is making this game not work.

Title. I’ve tried everything, reinstalling the application, I have BOTH firewalls turned off and i doubt any program would prevent it from opening as fast (if there is, please tell me!). This is an universal problem and i am stumped. What else is there?

I’ve been working on creating some basic fighting game guides for some of the more popular fighting games on Fightcade. Not exactly detailed info, but good for beginners for move sets and basic mechanics of the games. I’m currently trying to finish KoF 2002 UM even though it’s not on Fightcade. Feel free to use these as a foundation to modify to your liking or to share among the FGC/FC communities who might find them useful :)

Logitech G915 wireless keyboard inputs when I press buttons on PS4 controller

Hey guys,

I recently got the Logitech G915 Wireless keyboard. For whatever reason whenever I play any fighting game on Fightcade, when I press a mapped PS4 Controller button that I previously set up my keyboard also presses a random button (Alt, INS, Page Up, etc.)

Worked just fine but once I got this keyboard set up my PS4 Controller has my keyboard press buttons on Fightcade. Any ideas?

Hi all. I am having an issue when playing games where I have mapped my inputs to my PS4 controller and when I hit my R2 button twice, it changes the window size of my game. I have looked through the settings and can’t seem to find anything that has helped. Hopefully someone in here can point me in the right direction. Thanks!


How can i set up ethernet cable on a notebook?

Welp, i noticed that playing of Wi-Fi sucks and everyone hates it, but what are the cables that i can use if i am far from the moldem (sorry if i wrote wrong) my dad has around 3 of these cables, but how does i set up the cables? Just put on the port of the moldem and then connect on the ethernet hole of the notebook?
Edit: and how i disable the wifi after it?

I’ve been playing SFII and SF3:3rd Strike since they came out. But 99% of the time, it was single player. I recently got into Fightcade and love it, but am finding I need to vary my techniques. By Round 3, I’ve been figured out.

Where can I learn better techniques, combos, etc vs human players?


I’m mostly interested in

  • Street Fighter II’ — Champion Edition
  • Super Street Fighter II X — Grand Master Challenge
  • Street Fighter III Third Strike: Fight for the Future



Help regarding inputs resulting in game shutdown, kinda.

Okay, so whenever i try to input certain buttons, the game just shuts down and force closes the window. But a while later, it just reappears again. What is the cause of this? Please help, i can’t play with this.
