Серия плоттеров DGI-OM и HPGL error#1
Уважаемые юзеры режущих плоттеров и сотрудники «Зенон РП» помогите пожалуйста с одним очень неприятным моментов про работе с DGI OM-40 а также DGI OM-60 время от времени возникает сообщение на экране HPGL error#1.
ЧТО ЭТО И КАК С НМ БОРОТЬСЯ? ПОДСКАЖИТЕ ПОЖАЛУЙСТА!!! 
P.S. Обе машины приобретал в «Зенон РП» на ул.Вольной.

Возможно у вас банально открывается задний датчик. Бороться с этим несложно — выбираете меньшие размеры, чем располагаете, создавая запас. Или же просто прикрываете на время такой резки задний датчик обычным куском бумажки.
Так же интересно через какую прогу вы режете-это PlotCut, Сorel или что то еще? Вообще по всем подобным вопросам рекомендую вам просто звонить в сервис (495) 788-0775, Сервис

Режем из PlotCut-а. Обычно режем рулон, реже куски но всегда с запасом поэтому речь не о заднем датчике скоре всего!?
Вообще в практике послепродажного обслуживания Вы с таким моментом сталкивалисть или я пионер….????

у нас такая хрень появляется когда комп перезагрузим, а плотер нет. Перезагружаем плотер, и все ок!

А у нас плоттер вообще отказывается резать, и ПО не подходит — предлагали скачивать из интернета по ссылке. Поэтому проблема может быть в начинке. По отзывам — работает не больше полугода, а потом постоянные проблемы начинаются.

Вы правы, если при перезагрузке компа в плоттере остаются команды (и плоттер не перегружался) возникает такая ошибка. Я бы назвал ее ошибкой невнимательности. Или неаккуратности.
Еще одной распространенной ошибой является попытка многих пользователей использовать пиратское программное обеспечение. Если душит жаба, используйте хотя бы нашу бесплатную программу PlotCut.

Добрый день! У меня DGI Омега80 по непонятным причинам не дорезает рисунки большого объёма. Т.е то режет , то не режет. угробил плёнки, жуть.Режу из под COREL. теперь новая напасть пишет HPGL ERROR#1. А сегодня выдал HPGL ERROR#2, но работу дорезал. Что это такое и как с этим бороться?

У меня такую ошибку выдавал из-за того что провод LPT был повреждён, заменил и всё работает ок.

I have an SSK Designtech 60, bought it new about 3 months ago. Been running fine with no problems. I go to cut a job today and «HP-GL ERROR 1 » shows up on the display. Nothing has been changed to trigger this error. Can anyone help?

I have the vinyl cutter set up and read through the manual. I can’t seem to get it to cut. I keep getting the hp-gl error 1. I’m running it through the USB port. How do I tell it to use the USB port instead of the rs 232 cable? Is there a specific file type I have to use? I was trying to print something from Adobe Illustrator.

I tried that earlier today but it did not help. I have searched all over the internet and e-mailed ssk. Im still waiting to here from them. Thanks anyway.

Call them! SSK has never backed away from their products. The plotter you have is really a Graphtec. SSK has one of the best and friendliest tech support there is.

HPGL Error 1 on the Graphtec’s (Which is what the DT60 is) almost always means you tried to send a print job instead of a cut job.
If its connected over USB, Windows may have got confused when you were printing something. I would suggest uninstalling the DT 60 windows drivers.

Do you use Graphtec with HPGL or gpgl?
I run my graphtec in HPGL if that says something. If you plan to use the Cutting Master program that comes with the Graphtec, one has to use GPGL. The 5000-60 cutter does not print, also if using anything but the graphtec software use HPGL i.e. flexi and signlab etc, but if using the graphtec software use GPGL.
How do I change the HPGL and gpgl settings?
Whichever mode, HPGL or GPGL, has the asterice next to it is the current setting. Simply hit either the up, down, F3, F4 button (depending on model of cutter) to choose the next option. Hit ENTER to save the setting change and resend you cut job.
What do I do if my model doesn’t work with Graphtec?
Please make sure the software is recent enough to include the driver for your model, if the ARMS test works contact Tech Support of the software being used to confirm proper workflow as Graphtec can’t help with this.
What machine code do the Graphtec vinyl cutters work in?

It is rare that an Advanced Registration Mark System (ARMS) is defective, before calling tech support please isolate the cutter (sensor) by performing an ARMS test: necessary tools needed will be the Graphtec plotting pen, or blade if prints are on vinyl, PDF files:

This can be printed on a letter size bond paper of desktop printer.
IF UNSUCCESSFUL
If it fails, please reset the cutter back to factory in step-2 below and try again.
IMPORTANT: If using 3rd party software like Onyx or Flexi Sign, etc. Please make sure the software is recent enough to include the driver for your model, if the ARMS test works contact Tech Support of the software being used to confirm proper workflow as Graphtec can’t help with this. Another option is to try a small print and cut job from Cutting Master out of Adobe or Corel, if successful contact then your software manufacturer for support.
IF SUCCESSFUL
Your sensor (cutter) works fine, continue to the 4-steps below.
STEP 1: NOT ENOUGH SPACE AROUND THE IMAGE WHEN LOADING THE PRINT JOB TO THE CUTTER
SOLUTION:
Making sure you have the following spacing around the image when loading the print job on the cutter. If there is not enough spacing from the push roller to mark, expand mode can be enabled to widen the cut area.
STEP 2: INCORRECT CONFIGURATION OF MENU OPTIONS
Your print & cut is processed and controlled by software, so there is no need to modify or enable any option in the cutters ARMS menu. If settings are modified by accident it can cause misreading, offset, errors. If that happens please watch the below video to reset the cutter to factory default (Please note: your cutting conditions such as speed, force, etc. will be deleted).
SOLUTION:
STEP 3: WITH GLOSSY MEDIA/FINISH, THE CUTTER MIGHT DISPLAY ERROR MESSAGES
SOLUTION:
Enable the ISM mode to intensify the resolution of the registration mark sensor to read marks on hard to detect media, colored media, or reflective media. OFF by default, to print and cut on high intensity reflective turn-on ISM mode and perform the sensor level adjustment as well.

STEP 4 — ERROR MESSAGE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SCAN
Off scale means that the data or file differs in size from actual print or file is corrupt.
SOLUTION:
A) Make sure the print is loaded in the same orientation as the cut preview of the software, when using Cutting Master plug in is usually right side up.
B) Check push roller regarding spacing if error displayed is regarding Y direction, go back and check Step 1 Spacing Rules
C) if X-direction related error message please check the page length setting in the cutter: Menu > Media > Page Length, set to the highest amount (Max. 1048in), press «Fast» to increase the amount.
Note: both b and c have to do with a mismatch in scale (size difference between print and file), it is important to know this detail. Offscale error, or the error codes above are treated the same.
Note: when receiving these error codes, or scaling errors also check the Command sSetting on the plotter: MENU, IF, Command, HPGL or GPGL. All Graphtec software works on GPGL. FlexiSign for example uses HPGL. Please set accordingly.
D) If the issue remains and other files cut fine recreate the registration marks on the file and print again — when files are exported or saved to be opened and processed on a different computer, the registration mark layers can become corrupted. There are other reasons that files can become corrupted.
