Package Updater Error unable to handle the media swap

#1

Post

by J.Val » 2015-07-07 05:19

For the past several days the Package Updater has popped up wanting me to install an update to iceweasel. Each time I try to do the iceweasel-31.8.0esr-1-deb8u1 (64-bit) I get the following error message:

E: Internal Error, ordering was unable to handle the media swap

Is there something I need to do?

What does that mean? Package Updater says there is a Security updates for Web browser based on Firefox iceweasel-31.8.0esr-1-deb8u1 (64-bit). When I try to update I get the error message ‘E: Internal Error, ordering was unable to handle the media swap’

Какие из слов «Failed to connect to pkg.tox.chat port 443: Сеть недоступна» перевести?

bash: /etc/apt/sources.list: Отказано в доступе

sudo bash
apt-get install mc
mc -e /etc/apt/sources.list

Can’t update plugins

I’m trying to upgrade my Plex Media Server and I get this error everytime

I tried restarting the server several times and nothing seems to work

  • Authentication warning overridden.
  • Err http://dh2k.omv-extras.org/debian/ plex-wheezy-mirror/main plexmediaserver amd64 1.2.7.2987-1bef33a-debian

  • Failed to fetch http://dh2k.omv-extras.org/deb…-1bef33a-debian_amd64.deb 404 Not Found
  • E: Internal Error, ordering was unable to handle the media swap

This is the important part, it seems that it try to use the repo 2 instead of 1.
not sure about the reason You can try to create a copy of the plex repo with oonly the first 1 maybe

Intel G4400 — Asrock H170M Pro4S — 8GB ram — Be Quiet Pure Power 11 400 CM — Nanoxia Deep Silence 4 — 6TB Seagate Ironwolf — RAIDZ1 3x10TB WD — OMV 5 — Proxmox Kernel

Use the apt clean button in omv-extras. Your system is trying to use an old plex package that isn’t in the repos. 1.3.3 is in the repo.

You need to set a DNS server.

    • #3

    But how?
I tried to set the router’s DNS to 8.8.8.8, but it did not help.

    • #4

    OMV — System — Netzwerk — Schnittstellen — eth0 markieren — bearbeiten — DNS-Server unten eintragen, fertig.

    • #5

That’s what I tried, it also did not help …

    What is the output of:

    cat /etc/resolv.conf
    ping -c 2 www.google.com

    • #7

I do not know, I have remote access.

    • #8

    What is the output of:

cat /etc/resolv.conf

ping -c 2 http://www.google.com

    root@NAS:~# cat /etc/resolv.conf

    nameserver 192.168.15.1

    root@NAS:~# ping -c 2 http://www.google.com

    ping: unknown host http://www.google.com

    root@NAS:~#

    • #9

    please change 8.8.8.8 -> 192.168.15.1

    • #10

    pproblem solved.

Address 192.168.15.1 remained zaplsána from installing on a different network than the NAS used.

So resolv.conf manually change to the address correct router, ie 192.169.1.1.
