Помогите пожалуйста подключить Принтер Samsung ML-1910 к 10.04. принтер подключается, но не хочет печатать информацию, на бумагу выходит только сообщение следующего вида: INTERNAL ERROR - PLEASE USE THE PROPER DRIVER Заранее спасибо!

Тем не менее, терминал запустила, установку пакета сделала, но принтер не печатает

sudo ln -s /usr/share/cups/model/samsung /usr/share/ppd/custom/samsung ЭТУ строчку набрала в терминале, ничего не происходит. Может нужно что то дописать?

1664, не знаю удалось ли вам прикрутить драйвер для этого МФУ, если да то поделитесь.
Я же бьюсь с ним уже второй день.

Излагаю.
Система mint 9 (сборка на ubuntu 10.04) LXDE, ядро 2.6.32-21.
Драйверы брал отсюда

Printer setting Utility (Driver) (ver.2.00.23:11) и Smart Panel (Driver) (ver.2.00.72:05) встали без проблем.

Не могу поставить Unified Driver (Driver) (ver.3.00.63:07)
Ругается так

Уже навтыкал кучу библиотек на qt (сначала ругался на отсутствие чего-то с qt не записал, а терь не помню).
Также поставил все для QGtkstyle.

Через cups уже тоже пробовал, но тоже никак.
Также пробовал драйвер запустить на других сборках.

Printer Samsung ML 1865 doesn’t work

I’m running Ubuntu 10.10. All works fine, except a printer which I bought today — Samsung ML 1865 with all Mac and Linux support. Which I already doubt. I successfully installed a needed driver, which was downloaded from samsung.com, and I can see in System/Preferences/Printing my printer with green check on it. Which I supposed to be a good sign. But every time I inquire to print something I have then a printed list with the following statement:
Internal Error — please use the proper driver.

Position : 0x0 (0)
system : h6fw_5.49/xl_op
Line: 180
Version : SPL 5.49 10-20-2010

I rebooted my computer then and ran windows 7. On startup I installed a driver for the printer and try to print ubuntu.com homepage. And it worked.
So I rebooted back on my ubuntu and every time it’s printing something I see only an internal error on the blank white paper.

It thinks I have ML-1860.
Cant remove «unified printed driver» either.
Says I need Super User —
Doesnt allow mw to put in SUDO .
I think I’m doing something wrong.

I’ve fallen and I can’t use SUDO properly.

Can anyone guide me through the process of setting up this printer (samsung ml-1865)

I keep getting this printed «internal error»: please use proper driver . position 0x0 (0) . system h6fw_5.49/xl_op . line 180 . version SPL 5.49 10-20-2010 (so the usb-connection is properly recognised, and something is actually printed)

I found a tutorial in Spanish, which did not work out for me using Google translate, and found several suggestions on Ubuntu forums, none of which i’ve been able to make work (but that may have polluted the code) — I have tried the Samsung unified driver, alas to no avail — that is most likely due to my inexperience with Linux — I’m a newbie!

I bought a nice and small Samsung ML 1675 Laserprinter not long ago. It is supposed to work with the Samsung Unified Linux Driver. So I googled and went to the Samsung Website and downloaded the driver and installed it. That did not bring the printer to life. The cups interface did not even see the printer anymore. I left things as they were, as it was late. The next morning my dist-upgrade was blocked by strange errors that proved to be from the Samsung mfp-driver. Removing the lot fixed the problems. So, do not install the drivers from the Samsung website, they do not work.

So I dug a bit deeper in Google and found The Samsung Unified Linux Driver Repository.

Here are the steps to get any printer / multidevice, that needs to use this driver, working in no time at all:

open a shell and become root:

root@siductionbox: cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d [ENTER]

root@siductionbox:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# touch Samsung_Printer.list && echo deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra > Samsung_Printer.list && wget -O — http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | apt-key add – && apt-get update [ENTER]

This will set up the needed repository and install the gpg-key for it. Now you want to install the drivers:

apt-get install samsungmfp-data samsungmfp-configurator-qt4 samsungmfp-configurator-data samsungmfp-driver samsungmfp-driver-4.00.35 printer-driver-splix

That will install the needed drivers for just the printer. If that is all you need, turn on your printer and enjoy.

If you have a multi-device that can also scan, you need some more software. As with siduction, the user is already a member of group ‘lp’. there is no need for action here. Should you use a different distribution, check this by issuing, as user:

devil lp dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev users fuse scanner netdev

If lp is present, you just need to install some extra packages on top of the above:

apt-get install samsungmfp-scanner samsungmfp-scanner-sane-fix samsungmfp-scanner-sane-fix-multiarch

NOTE: before installing the latter 2 packages, read the output of apt-cache show

I upgraded to Big Sur 11.3 and the Samsung ML-1865 printer don’t works anymore

I hope to fix this problem, I have been trying everything for 4 days (11.3 clean install of course) to get my Samsung ML-1865 working

The OS doesn’t even let me choose an alternative driver like a generic Postscript, I also tried the Gutenberg drivers

i tried using the printers folder backup in catalina.

I tried an updated driver in February for the SL-M2880FW MFP

but like the previous attempts it prints an «internal error» page

INTERNAL ERROR — Please use the proper driver

SYSTEM: h6fw_5.49 / hl_op

VERSION: SPL 5.49 10-20.2010

does anyone have a REAL solution with download links and not theoretical ?

The Samsung ML-1865W and ML-1865WK devices are supported by Apple’s built-in AirPrint when networked. You will not need any software or drivers from any other source, including HP to support this printer. The AirPrint listing has them shown as HP-branded devices, not Samsung.

With the ML-1865 networked and powered on, visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, and right-click on the device entry in the Printers listing. Select Reset printing system… from the secondary menu. This will briefly remove the device from the Printers listing, open a Bonjour panel indicating that it discovered the ML-1865 on the network, and then you can re-add the device by selecting AirPrint as the driver. This is how my Samsung ML-2955ND is supported.

Я только что установил kubuntu 19.04 на свой 32-битный ноутбук (Samsung R540).

Теперь я хотел настроить принтер, цветной лазерный принтер Samsung CLP-320, который подключен к моему маршрутизатору (кабель Ethernet) — ноутбук подключен к маршрутизатору с помощью интерфейса Wi-Fi.

В браузере я могу получить доступ к веб-интерфейсу принтера http://sec001599706e10/sws/index.html(чтобы проверить, работает ли tcp-соединение с принтером)

После этого я запустил скрипт install.sh из распакованного файла SamsungPrinterInstaller.tar.gz, загруженного отсюда:http://www.samsungsetup.com/TS/Files/RDS_XML/web_install_agent/linux/SamsungPrinterInstaller.tar.gz

Сценарий запустился без ошибок. Принтер также отображается в настройках принтера kubuntu. В настройках принтера kubuntu я вижу, что принтер найден: он правильно показывает расходные материалы принтера, например, что голубой цвет низкий, как это также показано в веб-интерфейсе принтеров.

Кажется, все в порядке.

Но теперь, когда я пытаюсь что-то напечатать, принтер просто печатает почти пустую белую страницу со следующим текстом:

Печать тестовой страницы из настроек принтера kubuntu имеет тот же эффект.

Я также попытался удалить принтер в настройках принтера kubuntu и добавил его в браузер на странице администрирования чашки:http://localhost:631/admin(о которой я читал в другом месте в Интернете) ==> без разницы

Интересно, что тот же драйвер прекрасно работает на моем другом ноутбуке, 64-битной машине (Acer aspire es1-731g-p1mc), той же операционной системе и выполняет те же действия, как описано выше. Кроме того, я установил виртуальную коробку с windows7 в качестве гостевая система на том же ноутбуке samsung (которая печатает белую страницу) и установила там драйверы принтера. красиво печатая.

Кто-нибудь может мне помочь запустить драйвер принтера на Kubuntu Linux 19.04?

    Just bought one of these nifty laser printers and struggled like mad to get it to work until I sussed how to do it and it was simplicity itself!

    Process….

    Add to repositories under update manager…

    «deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra» without the quote marks!

    Then get the apt-key

    Refresh your repository listings

    Go to synaptic and do search for… samsungmfp

    Install samsungmfp-data & samsungmfp-driver

    Plug in, turn on samsung laser, ‘Add Printer’ and presto should work!!

    Very important: you must have completely removed all prior installations of the Unified Linux Driver before following next steps!

    1. Alt+F2
    2. paste /etc/apt/sources.list
    3. then add to repositories: deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra
    4. Open terminal
    5. sudo -s (it will ask for your password — type it)
    6. after becoming root paste into your terminal window:
    wget -O — http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | sudo apt-key add —
    7. Go to http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg
    8. Save the filepage as suldr.gpg in your home derictory
    8. Go back to the terminal and paste:
    sudo apt-key add suldr.gpg
    9. To refresh everything, paste into your terminal:
    sudo apt-get update
    10. Then go to System/Administration/Printing and make sure you have you ML-1865 shown in it, if not — add it and finally start to use it properly.

    Almost perfect instructions, EasyNow — here’s how I did it.

    1. Opened «Software Sources» through Unity
    2. Selected the ‘Other Software’ tab, clicked ‘Add…’ then pasted in deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra
    3. Hit ctrl + alt + t for terminal then ran sudo wget -O — http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | sudo apt-key add — (it asked me for my password for sudo, of course)
    4. Ran sudo apt-get update to load the new source into the computer
    5. Opened the Software Centre from unity, searched for samsung config and installed Samsung Unified Driver Configurator (QT4 interface), along with the driver.
    6. Searched for Samsung in unity and ran the configurator. I hit refresh, then followed the steps to add the printer.

    Although the configurator application thinks that the printer is a ‘Samsung ML-1860 series’, it appears to work perfectly.

    I’m running Ubuntu 12.04 with the classic Gnome desktop and the above help didn’t work for me.
    What I ended up doing was (all through the terminal):

    1. Using the terminal add the correct software source

    2. Add the key:

    Code:

    wget -O - http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | sudo apt-key add -

    3. Update the software sources

    Code:

    sudo apt-get update

    4. Look for what driver number your printer needs on this page:
    http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/supported.html

    5. Install the driver in a terminal

    Code:

    sudo apt-get install suld-driver-4.00.35

    (replace the last number with the driver you need and found in 4)

    Now installing the printer through the normal ‘add printer’ dialog works fine.

После установки стартеркита P9 (xfce) не могу установить принтер.
Устанавливаю CUPS, затем драйверы, которые шли с принтером. При печати выдает ошибку — please use the poper driver
При этом сам файл ML-1865wspl.ppd я ему указывал, в т.ч. и вручную.
Пробовал установить splix
то же самое
В P8 и раньше все работало

У меня ML-2010 с ним работает на Сизифе.

Я сейчас поудалял cups, splix, выполнил ununstall из папки с драйверами cdroot. Заново установил cups и splix,
при
при печати затребовало растеризатор rastertosamsungspl
Я его вручную скопировал в /usr/lib/cups/filter
При попытке печатать — ошибка принтера. То есть без установки драйверов из папки cdroot вообще ничего не происходит, даже ошибки при печати тестовой страницы
Команда lpstat -p -d выдает:

lpstat -p -d
printer Samsung_ML-1860_Series is idle.  enabled since Thu 29 Aug 2019 07:08:35 PM +04

Вновь перешел на p9 — печать прекратилась. Принтер виден, при печати на листе пишет опять про Internal error: please use the proper driver.

Почему-то нет в процессах smfpd. Насколько я понимаю, это драйвер принтеров самсунг. Как он ставится и что вообще подскажите делать?

I upgraded to Big Sur 11.3 and the Samsung ML-1865 printer don’t works anymore

I hope to fix this problem, I have been trying everything for 4 days (11.3 clean install of course) to get my Samsung ML-1865 working

The OS doesn’t even let me choose an alternative driver like a generic Postscript, I also tried the Gutenberg drivers

i tried using the printers folder backup in catalina.

I tried an updated driver in February for the SL-M2880FW MFP

The Samsung ML-1865W and ML-1865WK devices are supported by Apple’s built-in AirPrint when networked. You will not need any software or drivers from any other source, including HP to support this printer. The AirPrint listing has them shown as HP-branded devices, not Samsung.

With the ML-1865 networked and powered on, visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, and right-click on the device entry in the Printers listing. Select Reset printing system… from the secondary menu. This will briefly remove the device from the Printers listing, open a Bonjour panel indicating that it discovered the ML-1865 on the network, and then you can re-add the device by selecting AirPrint as the driver. This is how my Samsung ML-2955ND is supported.

  • Is there a working driver for Samsung ML-1675 printers on macOS Big Sur?
    I was able to use my Samsung ML-1675 printer with a driver now I don’t remember the name of, before Big Sur, on Catalina.

    Now no driver seems to work for my printer on Big Sur. I’ve searched for a solution and saw a lot of people with the same issue (on other printer models). Some of them were able to use their printers with a slightly different driver than what their printer model was. But no luck for me there.

    Maybe someone here had the same issue and can offer a solution. Here’s what I know:

    My printer is a monochrome laser printer from 2011. (Samsung ML-1675 Series) It isn’t wireless. I’m using a USB cable.
    My Mac is a 2020 MacBook Air, running Big Sur (11.5.2)
    I was able to use the printer before Big Sur.
    There are no problems with the printer. It has a full cartridge, runs fast and smooth. It works on Windows.
    There are some drivers that were working on OS X, but I can’t install them on Big Sur because they’re old and Big Sur can’t run the pkg files for the installation.
    I’ve already installed Gutenprint drivers.
    Here are some of the drivers I was able to find that kind of worked (printed an error page):
    Samsung C3010 Series driver (and some others): Printed a page with the following error:
    INTERNAL ERROR — uw_color == 4
    Some of the drivers for other Samsung ML-**** printers: Printed a page with the following error:
    INTERNAL ERROR — Please use the proper driver.

    I hope someone can offer a working solution here, like people did for other Samsung printers.

I bought a nice and small Samsung ML 1675 Laserprinter not long ago. It is supposed to work with the Samsung Unified Linux Driver. So I googled and went to the Samsung Website and downloaded the driver and installed it. That did not bring the printer to life. The cups interface did not even see the printer anymore. I left things as they were, as it was late. The next morning my dist-upgrade was blocked by strange errors that proved to be from the Samsung mfp-driver. Removing the lot fixed the problems. So, do not install the drivers from the Samsung website, they do not work.

So I dug a bit deeper in Google and found The Samsung Unified Linux Driver Repository.

Here are the steps to get any printer / multidevice, that needs to use this driver, working in no time at all:

open a shell and become root:

su [ENTER]

root@siductionbox: cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d [ENTER]

root@siductionbox:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# touch Samsung_Printer.list && echo deb http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/ debian extra > Samsung_Printer.list && wget -O — http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suldr.gpg | apt-key add – && apt-get update [ENTER]

This will set up the needed repository and install the gpg-key for it. Now you want to install the drivers:

apt-get install samsungmfp-data samsungmfp-configurator-qt4 samsungmfp-configurator-data samsungmfp-driver samsungmfp-driver-4.00.35 printer-driver-splix

That will install the needed drivers for just the printer. If that is all you need, turn on your printer and enjoy.

If you have a multi-device that can also scan, you need some more software. As with siduction, the user is already a member of group ‘lp’. there is no need for action here. Should you use a different distribution, check this by issuing, as user:

devil@siductionbox:~$ groups [ENTER]

devil lp dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev users fuse scanner netdev

If lp is present, you just need to install some extra packages on top of the above:

apt-get install samsungmfp-scanner samsungmfp-scanner-sane-fix samsungmfp-scanner-sane-fix-multiarch

NOTE: before installing the latter 2 packages, read the output of apt-cache show <packaganame> to see if they apply to you.

2, Картриджи чипованные
3. Чтобы заправлять картриджи нужно перепрошить принтер и если не ошибаюсь картриджи с чипами после перепрошивки не совать в принтер
4. Стартовый картридж уменьшенной емкости
5. Тонер для заправки этого картриджа также подходит для заправки других картриджей самсунг
6. Разборка картриджа чуть отличается от разборки ml- 1610 и фотобарабан тоньше чем ml- 1610

Если будешь сам использовать этот принтер или будешь его обслуживать (например купили на фирму) , то лучше знать где могут возникнуть вопросы на подобии картридж заправили, а он не печатает или отпечатал к примеру после заправки несколько страниц и не печатает больше потому что чип заблокировался (где искать источник проблемы если не знаешь? картридж или аппарат? если аппарат не перепрошивался то покупать только новые картриджи),
Или такой вопрос почему так мало отпечатал страниц текста? аппарат новый. В чем дело?

дрова идут стандартные это для винды хр и других а вот на некоторых системах они не прут советую скачать нужные дрова для нужной системы или в виде какого то кряка для проги :)

Не скажу как в mandriva но под debian дрова ставил через synaptic то бишь для моей ос ставилось дополнительно не один драйвер и не одна прога, в итоге все работало безупречно

а забивать надо sumsung и смотреть что выдаст далее подходящее выбирать в rpm такого ненайдешь
