i use com_google_map_vision in my site.when i click on view map then following error display:-

500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.

and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

In general the first step when dealing with this sort of error would be to turn on error reporting by putting the following at the beginning of your index.php:

ini_set('display_errors','On'); 
error_reporting(E_ALL);

Doing so might give you some php specific error message with which you will find it easier to troubleshoot the problem.

Error 500 generally occurs when the (web) server is not configured correctly. Many times it means that there is problem with your .htaccess file. Please check if you need to do any changes to .htaccess file things to work correctly.

That’s a long shot, but I recently had a similar issue with Community Builder extension. It turned out it was running out of memory, because it was not able to use all available memory. Adding the following line to .htaccess solved my problem:

RLimitMEM MAX MAX

I added it right at the beginning of the file. It supposedly allows a php script to use more of the memory assigned in php.ini…

Try recursively setting the permissions on components/com_google_map_vision and administrator/components/com_google_map_vision to 755 for folders and 644 for files.

This type of error is usually due to a permissions issue in Joomla.

Please change the file permission as follows.

All folders to 755
All files to 644

This error is caused by the permissions of files and folders.
The files should be chmod 644 and folders 755

Executing these instructions into the shell solves the problem

sudo find. -type f-print0 | xargs -0 chmod 0664

sudo find. -type d-print0 | xargs -0 chmod 0775

Its because of IP address,you used foreign or totally different,therefore your host company denied permission,you should firstl identify your Ip then call them to add this Ip to their secure ip’s.

If you are loading Joomla! on local development machine, remember to check if you have enabled mod_rewrite.Because this causes Internal Server Error 500. Most of the time it happens

Because it was never enabled in the first palce
A wamp/lamp update may have reset your .conf file
The new version of apache may use a different file name or a directory altogether for the .conf file.

Uncomment the row in httpd.conf or a file named something similar (whatever your wamp/lamp stack names it, eg. mine is httpd_uwamp.conf so yours may vary).

And you should be good to go, after restarting the server.

Здравствуйте!

Пытаюсь установить Joomla 1.5 (Quickstart package с шаблоном) на мастерхост. При попытке загрузить http://moisait.com/installation/index.php выдает ошибку HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error).

Самое интересное, если устанавливать не в корневую папку, все открывается и устанавливается отлично!

Хостер говорит, на моей площадке версия PHP 5.2.12. От отчаяния сделала всем каталогам права доступа 777.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как решить проблему!

а папку www сами создали?

Квикстарт ничем не примечательный. Меня просто смущает то, что в субдиректорию он устанавливается отлично, а в корень — ошибка 500! Что за ерунда… То есть, квикстарт-то рабочий, по идее, в таком случае…

на некоторых хостингах выскакивает 500 Internal Server Error если на папки стоит 777
на папки поставьте права 755 на файлы 644

Ошибка 500 — это ошибка сервера. У хостера как всегда с его слов все в порядке, естественно. Но все ж рекомендую вынести мозги службе вродекакподдержки. Это в их компетеции независимо от компетентности.

один раз было у меня, вы не поверите, мучался мучался, оказывается кэш в браузере надо почистить было :'(

ситуация след: такая ошибка была, ну я хостеров дручить начал, они все нормально типа, я им нифига — они все пашет, потом знакомый зашел грит че эт у тебя установочн Joomla стоит, ну я в опере открываю — БАЦ! и правда, реальный пример из жизни ^-^

потом в мозиле почитстил кэш (тк только на ней работаю) и все нормально стало

Задача решена достаточно тупым образом %-) Самостоятельно создана новая папка www, из которой по все еще НЕ ПОНЯТНОЙ мне причине все отлично загружается.

Объясните, пожалуйста, умные люди, что это за ерунда такая в мастерхосте?!

бери мультихост(multihost.ru) я им доволен, у него хорошая админка

я о проблемах хостингов читаю только на форуме, у самого их не было благо использую мультихост
Вот как создавать суб домены, а домены просто привязываешь к папке субдомена и все работает на ура
число баз и юзеров БД безлимитное, я для каждого суб домена создаю свою бд и юзера

пыталась установить одну сборку (во внутреннюю папку) — получала ошибку 500, о которой тут идет речь.
Скачала с http://joomla.ru/
Вывод: Joomla.ru — лучше всех! ура!

The point of the comments is to stop people destroying their existing sites or getting into major problems thinking that Joomla 3.0 is ready to go ahead and create sites the same as they do for 2.5 or 1.5.

If the messages come across as blunt then they will give the right warning.

No one is saying don’t try Joomla 3.0, but if you do, then expect there to be problems in the early days weeks / versions and don’t always expect the same level of answers that come with established versions such as 1.5 or 2.5 as often the issues will be ones that even the developers had not expected or accounted for.

No one is saying don’t try Joomla on development/localhost servers — in fact that is the recommendation.

If you choose to use the 3.0 version then you must expect issues and then research them accordingly on the Bug Tracker, bug forums etc.

If you choose to use the 3.0 version make sure your server is properly configured including all the settings that were previously marked as «well it will still work but there might be issues» things such as Magic Quotes will cause issues.

However when the questions arise about how to change file and directory permissions or how to change settings for the server php.ini, it does raise concerns as to whether an individual does have the necessary experience to be using the Joomla 3.x.x releases at this current point in time.

This has nothing to do with being elitist and everything to do with being practical and realistic and if someone takes offence at having those limitations pointed out to them, and the reasons for it, there is not too much that can be done about that.

We are trying to identify and work to resolve the major issues that are arising with a significant major version release of Joomla so that everyone can use the software easily in the future.

If you have any doubts then please stick with 2.5 and wait for 3.5 when all these new issues will doubtless have been resolved.

В данной статье будет рассмотрена ошибка Internal Server Error, которая вылетает под номером 500.

Эта проблема может появиться не только на ресурсе, на котором установлен Joomla.

Ошибка 500 «всеядная» и может съесть сайт на любом другом движке, не только Joomla или WordPress.

Причин возникновения сообщения Internal Server Error при входе очень много и без анализа проблемы вы не сможете найти истинное объяснение.

Анализ возникновения Internal Server Error необходимо начинать с сервера. Дело в том, что ошибка 500 касается именно проблем сервера. При этом необязательно нужно считать, что виноват хостинг-провайдер. Вполне может быть, что это вы сделали что-то не так. Ответить на этом можно только после просмотра файла сервера error.log. В нем содержится информация по последним ошибкам и вы наверняка найдете строчку с причиной, почему ваш сайт накрылся при входе. Самые частые поводы для появления надписи Internal Server Error:

очень часто пользователи превышают допустимые права на хостингах и сервера их банят за это;
вы пытаетесь запустить файл с недопустимым атрибутами;
определенный php-скрипт мог превысить лимит ожидания и сайт не открылся;
кроме того, ошибка 500 могла появиться, так как была обнаружена тотальная неисправность в php-коде;
вы попытались использовать файлы PERL, но функция их открытия на сервере не предусмотрена.

Как вы уже поняли, все полностью зависит от сервера. И если на сайте обнаружена ошибка 500, значит вы сделали что-то так, как нельзя было делать на данном хостинге. Либо превысили свои права и провайдеру нужно доплатить за это, либо установили на сайт Joomla программный код, который не поддерживается сервером.

Как исправить Internal Server Error

Проблема в том, что зачастую сайты Joomla размещают на бесплатных хостингах. В таком случае даже если ошибка обнаружена на сайте, вы не сможете просмотреть лог и узнать, откуда растут ее корни. На платном хостинге вы бы могли написать в службу поддержки, и вам, как платящему клиенту провайдера, живо бы объяснили в чем причина и как устранить неполадку. В ином случае бороться с ошибкой придется самостоятельно.

Очень часто проблема находится в файле .htaccess. В этом файле прописано, что разрешено делать движку, согласно требованиям сервера. Если есть несоответствия реальным требованиям хостинга и наступает момент, когда движок пытается загрузить недоступную функцию, тогда и появляется надпись с ошибкой. Найдите лог ее и тогда поймете, что нужно убрать с файла .htaccess. К примеру, если в логе написано:

php_value not allowed here

то проблема кроется в строке php_value в файле .htaccess.

Если вы новичок и не понимаете всю «пургу», написанную выше, тогда можно исправить ошибку более простым методом. Но вы сможете это сделать при условии, что ранее производили бэкап системы. Именно для таких случаев и необходимо постоянное резервное копирование всех файлов системы — в один «прекрасный» день все может накрыться медным тазом из-за ошибки сервера или даже взлома сайта.

Вам предстоит восстановить последнюю рабочую версию сайта Joomla. Сделать это можно, если переместить старые файлы на хостинг при помощи FTP-клиента. А порой проблема появляется после обновления движка до более новой версии. В таком случае вам понадобится откат. Похоже, что сервер не готов работать с новой версией Joomla и не соответствует требованиям.

Если ошибка сервера появляется слишком часто и вам приходится отказываться от инструментов, которые вам необходимы, тогда задумайтесь над сменой хостинг-провайдера. Найдите такой сервер, который дает вам широкие права и где есть нормальная служба поддержки, всегда готовая удружить заблудшим вебмастерам.

Tried installing extensions ‘from Web’ and installing ‘from Folder’. The files were added to the /tmp folder and extracted, but did not get installed. Screen jumps from installing to 500 error:

500 — Internal server error.

Fresh/new installed Joomla version 3.9.16
PHP 7.3.15
Web Server Microsoft-IIS/8.5

Cleared cache. Switched between Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Same issue.

Logged in as SuperUser with full access permissions.

Couldn’t find any error logs.

Ran a check and repair on sql db and 6 errors found, but does not self-repair when applied:

Verify your xml file
Try unnistalling and installing your extension
Drop the table manually

Also verify your PhpMyAdmin make sure it’s Mysql and the engine is InnoDB.

Well, i recommend you that you change your server from Microsoft Web Server to a more approriate server for php, such as WampServer.

WampServer has some configurations you must pay attention to. If you are ever going to install it, make sure to select mysql on the installation process (since it’s more compatible with Joomla) and set mysql as your default DBMS after you have installed it. Don’t forget to disable/uninstall the IIS.

PS: Do a new installation of Joomla if possible. If you have a custom template, backup your template and, eventually, your database.

Check and verify the Global Config settings for Log Folder Path and Temp Folder Path, and make sure they are correct, they are within your domain’s root folder, and their permissions are good (should by writable, 0755).

These paths can sometimes go adrift, often for domains that have been restored from backups. If they are wrong, then either the site’s logging or installers will break.

Well, i recommend you that you change your server from Microsoft Web Server to a more approriate server for php, such as WampServer.

These paths can sometimes go adrift, often for domains that have been restored from backups. If they are wrong, then either the site’s logging or installers will break.

Over the last week, at Vevida, we received quite some problem reports from customers who updated Joomla to version 3.2.0. After logging on to their administrator back-end, they received an HTTP 500.0 error with error code 0x8007000d. Let’s investigate and resolve this Joomla Administrator login HTTP 500 error.

The information in this post is still valid, even for Joomla 3.6.4 and up!

What is this Joomla HTTP Error 500?

Unfortunately this Joomla HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error has nothing important to tell, except in case of IIS as web server:

Internal Server Error, The data is invalid. (0x8007000d)

That’s not much…

It basically means that somewhere the output breaks FastCgi and PHP output. The given HTTP 500.0 error, after logging on, looks like:

Often, you can fix this HTTP error 500 in Joomla pretty easy. If only I knew this earlier, it would have saved me some time . This post certainly will save you time.

Follow the next steps:

when you’ve tried to log on and the HTTP 500.0 error is displayed, add ?option=com_installer&view=database in the address bar of your browser to the URL. The full URL then becomes http://www.example.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=database.
after pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard, you’re automatically logged on to your Joomla Administrator back-end.
You’ll probably notice database errors. These database errors can be repaired easily using the Fix-button. This resolves the log on issue permanently.

HTTP 500 fix tested and verified with Joomla 3.2.4, 3.3.6 and 3.6.4

This fix for HTTP 500 errors when logging in to Joomla administrator is still valid for Joomla 3.2.4, 3.3.6 and Joomla 3.6.4 updates.

Incorrect permissions on Joomla’s log/error.php file

Turns out, at least on Windows Server IIS, PHP/FastCgiModule might throw an 0x8007000d error if file and directory permissions are improperly (incorrectly) configured. You must correct the file permissions as well!

However, at the same time, after setting correct file permissions on logs/error.php and logging in, Joomla complained about two database problems:

Database schema version (3.1.1) does not match CMS version (3.3.6-2014-09-30).

Database update version (None) does not match CMS version (3.3.6).
