Как исправить ошибку unitycrashhandler64

Проблема не в игре, unity не может запуститься.
1. Криво встал юнити, удалите его папку и игру, переустановите.
2. К системе подключено несколько мониторов и они криво настроены.
3. 10 не имеет обновлений необходимых для работы юнити. Т.е необходимо запустить Windows Update и обновится.

   Steps to Reproduce: load the game up, start a new game, wait for it to load, internal error (continue or quit) occurs at 100% level loading. Quit&Mail only quits the game without showing me a mail to send.

   It is a out of memory error you have 8GB of RAM according to the log do you have many other programs running at the same time as the game ?

   not really, no. killed all programs running, same effect or rather didnt even get to the menu this time. UnityCrashHandler was active, then switched to inactive plus the game went inactive, too. Killing the CrashHandler had no effect.

   @Pantera : nope… took 3 tries to get into the menu — either crashed completely or to the desktop without warning (i have the newest graphic drivers installed). the 4th try brought me into the menu, i changed to fast video, started a new game and it crashed to the desktop again.

   Please try uninstalling the GPU drivers & reinstall them I woud advise to use DDU to remove everything the driver installs https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

   When finished uninstalling in safe mode restart then reinstall them again.

   @Pantera: Didnt work… did as you said, deinstalled in safe mode, restarted, installed the current drivers, restarted, started empyrion — same as before. Unitycrashhandler starts with Empyrion everytime and I didn’t even get to the menu — loading screen for a few seconds, then the loading circle stopped turning, Empyrion task went inactive and stayed that way, even when i killed the unity task manually. Log from that try is attached.

   Ok sorry you are experiencing this issue I don’t quite know the cause I do not have this on any of my test PC’s.

   — the loading screen is visible
   — the version number appears
   — a direct start from «empyrionlauncher.exe» results in loading screen, version number and then «please start the game directly from steam» message
   — the task manager shows empyrion (2) with empyrion.exe in it and unitycrashhandler. both stay there until the loading circle stops working. Theres no «WerFault.exe» visible at any time. Shortly after the loading circle stops, empyrion.exe is «inactive» and the crashhandler is not. If I kil the crashhandler manually, empyrion.exe stays inactive and needs to be killed manually, too.

   — empyrion is already an exception
   — verifying didn’t change anything
   — empyting download cache didn’t change anything
   — EmpyrionLauncher as Admin resolved in nothing — the game didn’t even start
   — EACLauncher as Admin had the same reaction as launching a standard game

    A just for fun start of Empyrion today showed something new. Started the game — as usual 2 processes in the task manager, stopping loading circle etc. After ca. 30 secs, Empyrion broke into two Empryion processes in the task manager for a split second, before exiting without any message to the desktop.
    Tried that 3 times — the 3rd time it also killed my dekstop wallpaper. I de-installed the game completely and downloaded and re-installed it. Same outcome — Loading circle runs until the version number shows up, then it stops, Empyrion process and Unity in the task manager. A few seconds later it splits up into two Empyrion processes and exits to the desktop. This time also one Emyprion process remained «inactive», but open and I had to kill it manually.

    Log from that try is attached. This time the log told me, that theres an error.log, which I also included.

    @Qurti Can you open your task manager & check how much RAM is free before you start the game ?

    The game will need roughly 4GB to start up & reach the main menu.

    @Pantera roughly 5 / 5.5 GB are free to use. But I was planning on getting at least another 8 GB next week. Should we postpone it until then and see what happens or do you have another idea for troubleshooting?

    The only other idea I had was to if you could load into the main menu & go to options -> Video and set Texture Resolution and Character Texture Resolution both to Half.

    If you are comfortable in the windows registry you can edit:
    OptCharacterTextureQuality_h1435720389 & set it to 1
    OptTextureQuality_h3735039964 & set it to 1

    in regedit in this location:
    ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareEleon Game StudiosEmpyrion — Galactic Survival

    If ‘OptTextureQuality_h3735039964’ is missing you can add it as a new entry right click on Empyrion galactic survival & place your cursor over ‘New’ then select DWORD (32-bit) value then when the value appears in the list name it:
    OptTextureQuality_h3735039964

    then double click on this & use the Hexadecimal option & set the ‘Base’ to 1 then click on ok this will only set your Textures resolution to half. Click on these images to enlarge them:

    If none of the above works out then yes it may be best.
    If you try out the registry edit above can you let me know here how it goes ?

    If you prefer you can create a system restore point before doing any of it to have something to go back to if anything goes wrong but it should be safe to do this in the registry.

    @Pantera didn’t even come to the menu before doing the edit. After that — same outcome. Game crashed during loading, being «inactive» in the task manager. Attached the log nonetheless. I think we’ll have to wait then until next week

    Windows defender right ?

    If all of the above hasn’t worked including the registry editing I currently don’t have anything more to suggest even with 8gb of RAM you should still be able to launch the client & play.
    It’s possible another program you have installed could be interfering.

    @Pantera yes, Defender.
    But which program? My software didn’t change in terms of programs running in the background. Only had to change my hardware recently, thats why I only have 8 GB. Needed a new mainboard, processor and RAM. Could Empyrion be so picky with hardware?
