“And how do you know they’re better-?” Chronic was suddenly in front of him, crystalized pixelated unfocused voids of magic concentrated on him.

“ You. Are. Better. You do not need to know of the worse circumstance. ” They snarled, and it seemed it was a sore spot, “ You have by far had the greatest life you could’ve imagined. Core has made you promises. They do not forget. They remember for a millennium.”

“Then what about you? Do you make promises?”

“ That I do… I promise you can trust me. ” They smiled, “Ya can trust me just like ya trust yaself.” A shadowy hand reached out, and Error shook it.
