I downloaded a bios update from HP. The program, InsydeFlash, keeps giving me an error saying «no match file in multi-fd». Is there any diagnosis for this error?

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Notebook and issues with a BIOS update. You should reset the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings.

My wife’s computor has gone black screen after loading an update and i am trying to reload the bios so that i can get into the system. However i am getting this fault when trying to creat a boot memory stick. please advise.
BOTH ARE HP COMPUTORS AND THE WIFE’S ONLY A YEAR OLD AND MINE TWO YEARS

HAVE TRIED BOTH F10 AND F1 BUT NO BIOS ON SCREEN. AM RECEIVING A FLASH 0N THE CAPS LOCK LED OF 3 FLASHES AND THEN 5 QUICK FLASHES.
THE COMPUTOR IS 17-Y054SA AND RUNNING WINDOWS 10 WHICH WAS PRE LOADED WHEN PERCHASED

I have a fully unlocked bios with remove whitelist wifi card and unlock advance tab. Maybe can a delete a recovery hp and other unnecessary stuff.
