This article is an old canon of Error!Sans. You may be looking for Hobo!Error of Lucidia .

Error!Sans is an AU destroyer created by Tumblr user Lover of Piggies(also known as Crayon Queen or CQ for short) on Tumblr. In this AU, he is bent on destroying all AUs and things he considers ‘glitches’ or ‘mistakes’ in the multiverse.

He uses blue strings to tie up and shatter souls. If the strings go inside a victim, he will be able to transfer his soul into the victim, controlling them to do whatever he likes, leaving the victim helpless. He can jump from one universe to another, as well as having several other glitch powers/quirks.

This AU connects to many other AUs, so it’s best to get to know some other AUs before you jump into this one.

Origin

Geno did it. He was finally free from the Save-Screen, and he finally had gotten the ending he deserved. Yet during his time in the surface, he had began to play around with his DETERMINATION, despite Sans telling him to stop doing so. Finally, Geno had accidentally sent himself to an empty and endless place where time was non-existent. He quickly began to grow insane, the emptiness and the loneliness eating up at his sanity and his anger towards everything (and everyone he had helped) shaped him into who he is now, his memory was erased during the process as well.

Now, he considers his life’s mission to destroy anomalies, «Glitches» and AUs, seeing them as «mistakes».

Ironically, he does not view himself as an «anomaly». He likes to seek and destroy AU’s left and right, except for the ones he likes such as OuterTale and UnderNovela . How he does it is that he first keeps Frisk and Flowey under guard, so they are unable to reset (he imprisons them). Then, he proceeds to go on a killing spree.

Error was a glitched skeleton that was created in the Anti-Void. He is the result of an alternate Genocide Sans playing with his DETERMINATION and sending himself to the Anti-Void, where he turned into Error.

Error is somewhat demented and psychotic. He is determined to find all anomalies and «glitches» within various timelines and destroy them. His character is the one of confusion and somewhat hypocritical behavior since he himself is an anomaly, but sees himself as the cleanser of timelines instead. He has been stated to be a complete mystery due to his erratic and unpredictable behaviors he has. He keeps «puppets» of his other alternate versions of selves that he talks to calling the standard Sans, called «Sans Classic» and naming the others by numbers. Despite admitting he is an anomaly/glitch, he says he is different and that he is the only one doing something about it. He wants to hunt down CORE! Frisk and the Omega Timeline.

His real motives and behaviors are still a mystery.

Appearance

Error is a Black skeleton who wears black slippers and wears a black coat with a blue hood. His legs are red and has red/yellow fingers. He wears Black sweatpants that has a vertical blue stripe on each leg. His teeth are a light yellowish color. The inside of his eyes are red as well as his nose. His right eye is a white pupil, while his left eye is blue with a thick yellow ring around it with a black pupil in the middle. there are blue markings on his face that assemble «tears». If Error blushes for any reason, like embarrassment, it is blue. (For Appearance for Lucida, See Error.)

Personality

In his AU, he is bent on destroying AUs which he considers ‘glitches’ or ‘mistakes’ in the multiverse. He is all black with a black hoodie, black pants with one blue stripe on each side, a red shirt, blue tear streaks down both his eye sockets, yellow teeth, black hands with red fingers and yellow tips. (he is sometimes portrayed to wear round red eyeglasses)

Abilities

Error Blaster: He uses a type of Gaster Blaster called an Error Blaster, which are simply Gaster Blasters that are black in color and have blue tear-marks falling from their red eye sockets. Error’s Gaster blaster is bigger, faster, and stronger than Classic Sans’.

Blue Strings: He uses blue strings to tie up and shatter SOULS, if his strings go inside a victim, he can transfer his soul into the victim’s body, making his body vanish and the victim’s soul to vanish turning the victim into him. This makes him able to control the victim, while the victim is helpless. This is Error’s «main weapon» because Error feels more comfortable with the strings, as Error doesn’t have very good eyesight.

AU Jump: He can also jump into one universe to another along with other glitchy powers and quirks.

Weaknesses

Physical Contact: Error has haphephobia (the fear of being touched) and is therefore very hesitant to get physically close to anyone.

His love for chocolate: He also likes chocolate [like Chara], which can be a down side. (If you think about it)

Glitching (Error.Exe has crashed): At random intervals, he can glitch up, filling his eye sockets with errors, giving him a major disadvantage if he’s in battle. If Error had no strings, he would be a very easy problem to fix.

Near-sighted: Error also cannot see things far away clearly, as he uses round, red glasses a few times in the comic to show this. The glasses are kept in the pockets of his hoodie. He also knows how to knit, sort of.

Water: He is also supposedly weak to water, but this isn’t canon.

Afraid of Fresh : He is always freaked out by Fresh. He can sometimes get distracted by «it».

His love for cute things: As shown in Underfail , he has love for cuteness, like Undercute . He wants to cuddle soft and fluffy creatures, despite his haphephobia. He refuses to destroy and erase cute things that shouldn’t deserve it.

Menger sponge: If two Error Sanses get too close to each other, they both merge each other, crumble, splitting into Menger sponges before obliteration, and causing an explosive reaction that may harm those close by.

Classic Sans (Frenemies)

Classic Sans is just as bad as everyone else. However, Classic sans and Error CAN get along sometimes. Along with how Classic Sans one time did watch Undernovela from behind Error, and Error couldn’t have cared less. It’s pretty odd, but it’s chill. However, they sometimes do fight.

UnderSwap Sans (friend)

They get along, somehow. It’s unclear why Error gets along with Swap! Sans so well, but it’s probably because he’s the first «friend» Error has had in a long time. He sometimes gives him chocolate. After Error returned to the Anti!Void, he found out that Swap had turned into an Error.

CORE!Frisk (Enemies?)

Error! Sans saw CORE!Frisk one time rescuing a survivor of a genocide run in an AU, bringing the survivor to the Omega Timeline. He’s been hunting them and the Omega Timeline down ever since.

Fresh!Sans (one of Error’s fears)

Error! SansError is disgusted and scared by Fresh Sans . When they first met, Error blasted Fresh. Error is even more horrified by Fresh because Fresh often gets too close to him due to having Haphephobia (not yet even considering the fact that Fresh is a universe-wide-infecting parasite). Fresh is a very hard opponent because his soul lays in his left eye socket. He looks like a normal kid that wears lots of colors and the one who seems all happy but really Fresh can’t actually feel happy, sad, angry, jealous, fear, etc.

Geno!Sans (Past Error!Sans)

Error Sans doesn’t remember anything about his past life as Geno.

Fatal_Error (Creation)

Fatal_Error was created when error sans tried to kill Geno Sans. Error didn’t believe Geno that he couldn’t be killed in the SAVE screen but no this was not the case. Fatal!Error was extremely powerful. He can defeat any sans. He goes around looking for his lost papyrus because he will do anything to get back his papyrus. He was confirmed to be canonical to loverofpiggies’ original ask Error Sans series right here. https://loverofpiggies.tumblr.com/tagged/now-canon-i-decree. Error sans would easily be defeated and only but only Ink!Sans or X Gaster (maybe).

Ink!Sans (frenemies)

Ink and Error are portrayed by the fandom to be enemies as Ink Sans is the protector of the AU’s while Error is the destroyer of the AU’s. However, some people consider them to be friends, arch-enemies or even lovers. (some people «ship» them.) They are sometimes even portrayed as brothers.

In some AUs, Ink and Error actually came to an agreement; as long as Error won’t destroy any AUs, Ink won‘t help the creators create any AUs. In the video UnderVerse 2.0, Error tried to stop Ink’s blank side (which was kind of evil), but Error couldn’t stop him.

PaperJam (Accidental child)

PaperJam is considered Error and Ink’s accidental child. Once PaperJam first formed from the remains of Error’s scattered strings and Ink’s leftover piles of ink that were scattered about the multiverse, which took a process of about three years, PaperJam started to walk around to see where they ended up at. Eventually, he found the two at the end of a battle- where Ink’s body was scattered all over the place and Error was about to do one more strike… PaperJam screamed.

What else was he supposed to do? Error noticed him and felt an odd connection (which Ink did as well) and he really didn’t like how that felt within him. Error panicked and shouted at PaperJam, calling him a «mistake» and «an abomination that shouldn’t have existed» before disappearing. PaperJam was very hurt. When Ink was healed, he took care of PJ.

Error!Frisk (his student)

Before C.Q. revealed Error’s origins, people assumed he had come from a broken timeline. They assumed that after the first timeline was destroyed, Frisk had turned into Error!Frisk and had become Error’s student. Error!Sans is unaware that the human is «Frisk».

Error!Papyrus (Brother)

Error believes he is the only Error in the multiverse, but there is his brother who also turned out to be one that he does NOT know of. He refuses to discuss Papyrus. At all. However, it may say that he was hidden among the ‘in-between files’ of the multiverses.

Error!Papyrus is not exactly Error’s brother, since Error!Papyrus is from a different timeline.

Rumor has it that Error!Sans may NOT be alone, as there are many Error characters that live inside the Anti-Void, such as Error!Undyne.

Pandora (Enemy)

With Undercute is being destroyed by Pandora along with others, Error is now seeking vengeance for his favorite AU’s destruction.

Happytale (An AU he mostly destroyed)

Error mostly created a dark version of Undertale from the reset files called Happytale , which isn’t really happy at all. Error destroyed most of Happytale until Core!Frisk used a file traveler to travel the files only able to be used once, and he completely forgot about Happytale until he remembered from another game reset. Now, Happytale is an unknown universe no one has heard of.

Error404 (Mentor)

404 sees Error as an apprentice and maybe a worthy successor to himself. 404 and Error’s relationship can vary from student and teacher to child and guardian and even to cruel and distrusting. The 2 have had almost spent enough time with each-other to fill a tub. 404s expectations for Error are unimaginably High, going as far as giving him Impossible task so that one day Error can finally live and complete his goal of getting rid of Ink. These unimaginably high bars 404 sets for Error often lead to lots of arguing and fighting amoungst the two. They have nearly left each other on multiple occasions and only have ever come back together due to the fact they both have equal and goals and on the grounds of them in some sick way needing each other.

Предыстория

Гено пытается что-то сделать со своей решительностью, но Санс говорит ему не связываться с этим. Гено не слушает и случайно отправляет себя в антипустоту. В свои последние мгновения здравомыслия он находится в ярости из-за того, что хоть он и получил свой счастливый конец, но попал в такую ситуацию. В тот момент он ненавидел абсолютно всех. В конце концов он потерял сознание.^[3]

Появление

Появившись, Эррор очень много спал, потому что не знал, где он и почему, пока ему это не наскучило. После он говорил, кричал, много и долго кричал, надеясь, что кто-нибудь услышит. Но никто не пришёл. В итоге его крики стали возвращаться назад, после чего Эррор, предположительно, начинает пытаться выбраться из анти-пустоты.^[4]

История Ториель

Эррор выбирается из анти-пустоты и попадает в место около выхода из Руин в неизвестной вселенной. На него нахлынивают эмоции, он думает, что здесь не безопасно, но в итоге принимает решение присесть и подумать. Он каламбурит, что привлекает внимание Ториель. Она путает его с здешним Сансом, и у них заводится диалог, в конце которого Эррор возвращается в анти-пустоту, поясняя это её «комфортностью».

Через некоторое время Эррор стал посещать это место всё чаще и чаще, но в конце концов притворство Эррора было раскрыто. Он начинает оправдываться, но случайно называет Ториель по имени, на что та отвечает, что никогда его не говорила. Анон предлагает уничтожить Underfresh, на что Эррор спрашивает, что это такое. Вдруг появляется Фреш и пугает Эррора, из-за чего тот стреляет в него из бластера.^[7]

Через некоторое время Фреша (уже в теле Determinedtopun!Санса) спрашивают, не заражён ли он вирусом, на что тот отвечает, что всё нормально, и что все должны быть заражены. Эррор, увидев это, не понимает, кто такой Фреш и как он выжил. Фреш замечает Эррора, но тоже не понимает, кто он. Фреш говорит, что Эррор выглядит клёво (тело говорит, что не очень) и что они вряд ли встречались до этого (тело спрашивает, нужна ли Эррору помощь). Эррор слышит крики тела и понимает, что Фреш — вирус, и что он хуже любой другой ошибки. Эррор собирается уничтожить Фреша, но паразит покидает тело прежде, чем Эррор успевает что-либо сделать. Эррор, замечая это, начинает смеяться, понимая, что его облапошили.^[8]

Determinedtopun!Санс пытается дотронутся до Эррора, на что тот отвечает угрозой убийства. Санс просто садится рядом с Эррором, но он не понимает, почему Санс ещё здесь. Тот отвечает, что хотел спросить про вирус Фреша, и что анти-пустота Эррора выглядит «одиноко». Эррор в ответ признаёт, что Санс не такая уж и большая ошибка, и рассказывает ему про Фреша и то, что он может путешествовать по мультивселенной, как и Эррор. Он говорит, что видел, как Фреш заражал Андайн дважды, и другого Санса, но предполагает, что Фреш заражал гораздо большее количество раз. Но заражённые не пробывали в таком состоянии долго, чтобы начать разговор с Эррором до этого момента. Тем не менее, Эррор считает Фреша ошибкой, которую нужно искоренить из мультивселенной, но смотря на реакцию Санса говорит, что ему можно не волноваться и что это забота Эррора. В конце Эррор признаёт, что это хорошо, когда есть кто-то живой, с кем можно поговорить по душам.^[9]

Арка Underswap

Эррор попытался создать куклу Underswap Санса, но ему помешал Underswap Папирус, поэтому Эррор отложил это дело на потом^[10]. После просьб пользователей, Эррор всё же приходит в загруженный ранее таймлайн Underswap, чтобы закончить дело.

Папирус стоит в последнем коридоре и путает Эррора с человеком, говоря, что ему не нужно быть застенчивым. Эррор выходит из темноты и говорит, что никогда таким не был. Папирус отрицает то, что Эррор — Санс, на что тот говорит, что он им является, но не тем, кого Папирус знает. Так же Эррор преподносит «подарок» Папирусу — Блуберри. Эррор объясняет, что когда все начали пропадать, он забрал Блуберри к себе. Папирус спрашивает, зачем Эррор начал уничтожать их вселенную, на что тот отвечает, что они не более, чем «грязные ошибки мультивселенной». Эррор предупреждает, что если Папирус сделает что-то, что заставит Эррора злится, то он убьёт Блуберри. На вопрос Папируса про последнюю битву с ним Эррор заставляет Блуберри драться вместо него.

Блуберри просит Папируса бежать, но тот не слушает. Эррор говорит, что перед уничтожением вселенных он любит посмотреть их код. Так же скелет говорит, что вероятность существования Underswap — 1 к 9109043495. На сопротивление Папируса Эррор говорит, что должна существовать лишь одна вселенная и что никто не будет помнить Underswap. Блуберри просит Папируса бежать, но тот снова говорит, что не покинет брата. Блуберри говорит, что возможно Эррор не убьёт его, потому что ему нужен тот, с кем он может поговорить. Эррор удивляется тому, что Блуберри угадал, на что тот пытается подружиться с Эррором, но он сходит с ума.

Папирус, насмотревшись на попытки брата, перерезает нити бластерами и атакует Эррора, забрасывая его в тёмную часть коридора. При этом Эррор теряет тапок. Блуберри говорит, что почти подружился с Эррором, что Папирус отрицает и говорит ему бежать. Эррор призывает бластеры и начинается битва Папируса и Эррора, в конце которой он ловит высокого скелета нитями. Эррор заносит руку для удара, но Папирус говорит, что Эррор всё же Санс и они всё же братья. Высокий скелет говорит, что Блуберри всегда верит, что добро есть в каждом, и что Папирус тоже верит в это. В конце концов у Эррора всплывают воспоминания о прежней жизни, а Папирус говорит, что не заставил бы своего брата страдать так же, как Эррор. Папирус атакует его, но Эррор успевает открыть портал и сбежать, прихватив с собой Блуберри, и на последок говорит, что если Папирусу нужен брат — то пусть найдёт Эррора.^[11]

Блуберри и Эррор

Несколько «дней» спустя, Эррор представляет Блуберри голосам, на что тот отвечает, что никого не слышит. Тогда Эррор предлагает стать «переводчиком» Блу, на что тот соглашается. Через некоторое количество заданных вопросов Эррор признаёт, что Блуберри не является опасностью, и Эррор перестаёт держать его нитями.

Один из голосов спрашивает, любит ли Блу шоколад, на что Эррор отвечает, что украл несколько из Underfell. Через некоторое время другой голос говорит, что Эррор не должен был есть шоколад вместе с упаковкой, на что тот, выплёвывая её, возвращает в Underfell прямо на голову Санса. Блу спрашивает, что такое Underfell, а Эррор удивляется тому, что Блуберри не знает про мультивселенную. Глючный скелет показывает Блуберри несколько вселенных (Undertale, Outertale дважды подряд, Science Sans, Aftertale, Disbelief и вселенную, где Андайн сражается с Сансом), говоря, что каждое действие выливается в новую, и что где-то есть другие версии их самих, которые Эррор ненавидит.

Из-за того, что мир Блу был разом сломлен, он начал плакать, а Эррор, попытавшись его развеселить, сломался. Из-за ребута системы Эррора Блу перестал плакать и развеселился. После Эррора спросили, считает ли он заточение Блу в анти-пустоте правильным решением, на что Эррор отвечает, что он просто сделал это не раздумывая. Эррора спрашивают, делают ли они что-нибудь весёлое, на что Блу ответил, что он умеет вязать и может научить этому Эррора.

Эррор показывает Блу Undernovela и пытается взять автограф у Азгоро, но у него не выходит. После рассказа Эррора Блу удивляется тому, что альтернативная версия их самих встречается с Ториель. Голоса спрашивают Эррора, откуда он знает имя Ториель, на что тот отвечает, что может показать свою историю, но делать этого не будет. После долгих уговоров он, всё же, показывает свои первые воспоминания, говоря, что не помнит ничего до этого.

Во время рассказа Эррор случайно упоминает, что, возможно, убил Ториель, чему удивляется Блуберри. Эррор говорит, что у него плохая память и удивляется тому, что Ториель — призрак. Блуберри, увидев это, случайно роняет стакан с молочным коктейлем, который попадает прямо Fell!Сансу на голову.

На моменте, когда Эррор начинает атаковать призраков нитями, Блу говорит, что не хочет видеть то, что было дальше. Он предлагает продолжить смотреть историю без него и говорит, что Эррор и Блу всё ещё друзья, на что Эррор называет Блуберри «маленьким грязным лжецом». Блу не понимает, о чём Эррор, но тот лишь говорит, что скелет из Underswap должен быть честен. Он показывает Блу душу Underswap Чары и говорит, что уничтожил всё, что Блу любил.
Эррор пытается вытянуть злобу из Swap!Санса, и, через некоторое время, Блу говорит, что Эррор почти заставил его убить Папируса. Глючный скелет спрашивает, что Блу будет делать, на что тот говорит, что он ничего не сможет сделать против Эррора, но он считает, что тот не хочет смерти Блуберри. Блуберри думает, что Эррор боится драться с «Великолепным Санс-ационным Сансом», поэтому он заставил его пройти через эту драму. Эррор не понимает, шутит ли Блу, на что тот говорит, что главная слабость Эррора — дружба. Эррор предлагает скелету сыграть в игру под названием «оставь Блуберри в анти-пустоте, пока он не станет умолять Эррора вернуться».

Swap!Папирус в Омега таймлайне

События происходят параллельно с аркой Блуберри и Эррора.

В конце арки Underswap к Папирусу приходит Core!Фриск. Он пытается их убить, но человек говорит, что его невозможно уничтожить и что он пришёл помочь. Папирус спрашивает, как Фриск поможет ему, на что те отвечают, что они могут отправить его в Омега таймлайн. Папирус задаётся вопросом, может ли Фриск попасть к Эррору, на что те отвечают, что не могут. Фриск говорят, что это — единственный шанс Папируса не сойти с ума.^[12] Эррор Папирус и Андайн, наблюдающие за этим, переговариваются о том, что Эррор Папирусу не нужна душа, заряженная местью. Эррор Андайн упоминает, что у них с Фриск была сделка о том, что они не вмешиваются в дела друг друга.^[13]

Папируса, держащего тапок Эррора, в Омега таймлайне встречают Dancetale Санс и Geno!Папирус. Swap!Папирус не понимает, что происходит, но видит другого Блуберри. Пробежав к нему рядом с Fell и Science Сансами, Swap!Папирус спрашивает, как он спасся от Эррора. На этом эта арка прервалась.

Блуберри в анти-пустоте

Блуберри, оставшись наедине с душой Чары, начинает искать выход. Не найдя его, он начинает кричать на душу, а после начинает дремать. Далее у него начинает болеть голова, и он, схватившись за неё, начинает слышать голоса, как и Эррор. Блу просит голоса прекратить говорить, но некоторые из них пытаются успокоить скелета, что у них получается. Один из голосов спрашивает, что случилось с душой, на что Блу начинает извинятся, что кричал и наступал на неё до этого.

Блуберри признаётся, что не забыл уничтожение своего мира Эррором, но он спасал душу и изучал слабости Эррора, чтобы потом найти того, кто сможет ему помочь. Он говорит, что поможет защитить всё, что осталось от мультивселенной от Эррора. Далее один из голосов подмечает, что с одной из глазниц Блу что-то не так, Блу проверяет это, и там оказываются надписи «ERROR». С этого момента Блу начал превращение в Блубэррора, из-за чего он стал звать Эррора. Но никто не пришёл.

Арка Outertale

События происходят параллельно с аркой Блуберри в анти-пустоте.

Эррор пытается вязать, но у него не выходит и он злиться, выбрасывая кости для вязания в космос. Один из голосов спрашивает его про Outertale, на что он отвечает, что здесь тихо, и что он успел разрушить две вселенные после того, как оставил Блу в анти-пустоте. Замечая кости для вязания, летающие в невесомости, он подбирает их нитями.

Заканчивается весь аск тем, что один из голосов спрашивает, заслужил ли Блу заточение, на что Эррор отвечает положительно и со злобой, задаваясь вопросом, почему он должен беспокоится за него. В конце концов Эррор признаёт, что из-за злобы и надписей в глазах он перестал что-либо видеть.

Второй сезон

Хоть второй сезон и не является каноном, у него есть связь с Errortale. Тем не менее, у автора второго сезона есть разрешение на официальное продолжение^[2].

Блубэррор

Когда Эррор вернулся в анти-пустоту через большой промежуток времени, он увидел, чем стал Блуберри. Эррор был в ужасе, ему очень не нравился такой исход. Сам же Блубэррор был в ярости на Эррора, чуть не пытаясь убить его, но в конце концов Блуберрор пришел к выводу, что он хотел бы помочь тем, кто находится в Омега таймлайне. Получив разрешение Фриск, он отправился в Омега таймлайн и начал общаться и дружиться со всеми, кто там есть, хоть его и считали немного странным. В конце концов поняв, что он не может вернуться к своему старому таймлайну в таком виде, отдал свой мир Блуберри, находившемуся в Омега таймлайне.

Блубэррор развил странное, полуневинное чувство юмора и перестаёт быть на одной волне со всеми, случайно шутя и говоря вещи, которые заставляют людей чувствовать себя некомфортно.^[3]

Эррор Андайн

Однажды, увидев Эррора в его очках, Эррор Андайн иррационально поверила, что эти очки принадлежали Альфис. Это привело её в убийственную ярость, превратив в настоящую угрозу для всех. Блубэррор пытается сохранить то немногое, что у него осталось, и убеждает Эррора помочь остановить Эррор Андайн, но только потому, что её существование бесит его самого. В конце концов жители Омега таймлайна, работая вместе, смогли остановить Эррор Андайн.^[3]

Эпилог

Блубэррор, заимев много друзей в Омега таймлайне, преодолел свою ярость по отношению к Эррору, признав, что гнев просто отравил его. Блубэррор попытался принять свою новую судьбу, получив способности, как-то связанные с звёздами, а так же нашёл себе дом в Омега таймлайне.^[3]

Эррор вернул память на короткое время и осознал, что он сделал то, что делал с собой, но с кем-то другим. Он осознал ужасы, которые он причинил Блуберри, и намеренно дистанцировался из-за этого, но в итоге вообще не поменялся.^[14]
