Having an issue when i try to update.
C0-10139-4
Only thing i could found on the internet was that it has something to do with the region (not confirmed) but i tried every region now and it failed every time
Are you trying to install a manual update by the «Update by Connecting to a PC]»? Instead of running qcma.exe do the following:
Open cmd and run the following commands:
cd %PROGRAMFILES%Qcma
qcma_console.exe --verbose
Try to update until you get the error, close qcma and paste the log here.
Thanks for trying to help me
I want to uptade my PS Vita to version 3.60 manual by updating it via pc

Your region seems to be uk. Probably your xml file has some problem, you could try using the original one (download the xml from the http link in your log) or use the one attached in this comment (i already edited it for match your region).
psp2-updatelist.xml.zip
I dont know why my systhem was located in the uk but it worked ( bought it here in germany ^^)
Thanks for the help

If you don’t have the expertise to realize that the code you have to put in the xml its on the url that appear on —verbose

You’re more dumb than sony, that didnt put that automatic…
The latest Qcma handles both the region code and firmware version on the generated xml that is sent to the vita. In fact, any xml put in the updates folder is now ignored to prevent more reports like these.
I need help, qcma crash after my psv show new updates as 3.63

Are you using a custom XML? delete it and use the Qcma settings instead to set an specific version.
Sorry, i don’t have a PSVita anymore so is difficult to continue giving support on it.

My PS vita keeps having this error. I’ve tried everything and watched every tutorial but i cant seem to find a solution. It would be much appreciated if you were to respond.
What’s going on with the vita. Are you able/willing to do a factory reset via safe mode? Make sure your on a hackable FW first!
Damn! turned out it was just a plate of ravioli the whole time!

NW-9988-4 umd error
dam thats a long list !!! i though i seen a 3 red light error in that list.
-
I got this today «C0-11136-2 Restore failed» but it’s because the game I downloaded from an American account was locked and it wouldn’t play on my UK account, they need to allow more than one account per PSV!!
-
Yea we need more than one account mainly because uk store sucks big time.
I’m after quite a few psp games but the ones I want aren’t on the store yet

If a system restart didn’t do the trick, rebuild your database.
steps if needed:

Still same error 🙁
Maybe psp2core dumped during error will help, here’s mine:

yes, C2-12828-1 is HENkaku related not VHBB.
You do have safe mode turned off right?
VHBB will only run in unsafe mode as it requires additional access for some of it’s procedures.
You can set this via molecular shell.

So to conclude there are 3 causes of the Error C2-128128-1 in VHBB and for each a solution :
We can’t know which is the cause between these 3, so you need to apply the 3 fixes.
@devnoname120 @ArkSource You should add these solutions into the README.
@devnoname120 @ArkSource Issues resolved. You can close it.

Might link to a write up on the VitaSDK forum for ‘Error C2-128128-1’ as the initial error is not directly related to VHBB.
I’ll also add a link to the README.
Cheers.

Several people are reporting error C2-12828-1 while trying to install/run the recently released Henkaku hack for PS Vita 3.60. I have myself had the issue when I installed HENkaku the first time. Rebooting the console fixed the problem for me, but not everyone’s been that lucky. So, if you run repeatedly into this issue, and rebooting your console doesn’t help, what can you do?
Error C2-12828-1: How to fix according to Sony’s official help page
Here’s what Sony’s official help page have to say about error C2-12828-1 (please note that at the time of this writing the Sony help page that is supposed to have this help topic is down, and I had to retrieve the information from a cache)
Hangs up during a game while the application is running. This is caused by invalid processing on the application side.
If this occurs even when the system is restored, the saved data is probably corrupted.
1. Restart the application. If that fails, please restart the system.
2. Reformat the PS®Vita system.
3. Delete the application’s saved data.
4. Reformat the memory card.
If the error continues to occur, please note the error code and the situation in which it occurs, and contact Consumer Services at 1-800-345-SONY (7669).
So, a few good steps to try here, although I obviously recommend to *not* call Sony for issues running HENkaku 🙂
Definitely try rebooting, and if that doesn’t work, formatting your memory card or resetting the system might help. It’s worth noting that Sony call it a problem on the application side, and the error is as generic as it gets.
There might be less dramatic solutions than resetting the entire system or formatting the card, though. See below for other tips that might work for you before you try something too “final”.
Error C2-12828-1: How to fix according to the community
The consensus seems to be that rebooting your console should be the first thing you try, even if you have to try it several times before you try anything more “serious”. There is some level of instability in any hack, and it seems HENkaku is no exception 🙂

just bricked my vita, R.I.P lmao cant get it to work
Weird, i took out my game and turned off my bluetooth and it worked.
Thanks for the tip, i removed my Uncharted card, turn off the bluetooth, and everything worked like a charm! 😀
+++
It works with me too, thanks!
Idk how tf you could screw up installing henkaku.. just sayin
I restarted then deleted cookies and it worked, thank you Wololo, and of course to who ever worked on Henkaku!
Removing the cartridge did it for me.
I´ve rebooted then cleaned browser cookies, and it worked!
I followed all the step, and its still seem doesnt work for me
hahaha, I turn off my bluetooth, and removed the games, and it’s finnally work now
Aktivat Fly Mod on vita and it fix it
when the error popped out, i close the pop up, and press back on the browser, then it works.
Rebuilding my database solves it, thanks!
Deleted cookies after accepting the message for the error code. Having done it while it was reloading the download link made it work instantly. Thanks for the heads up about the cookies.
disconnect damn usb cable!
For me it works sometimes if you stop loading the page(touching x next to the url) while the browser loads the go.henkaku.xyz
Forget the error alert dialog. I pressed “OK” several times, then it went to Henkaku installation & got success. I have done this twice.
Hope it helps some cases.
Strange I got the error and tried again and got the same error.
Than magically molecular shell installed haha.
Deleted cookies, turned off bluetooth, restarted the console, took a couple of tries but it worked out in the end without having to format my entire memory card.

C2-12828-1 Error
PlayStation Vita
PlayStation Vita
User Info: Tesavius
I have tried the following methods multiple times, and it just stabilizes the Vita for a bit and bam, the error returns again. I decided to buy a new vita, as I have been meaning to upgrade from my fat version. But do I need to get a memory card too?
I have tried the following troubleshooting
-factory format my vita
-format my 32GB memory card
-rebuild database on my vita
-turned off wifi, cleared cookies in browser
-turned off bluetooth
-reinstalled the games by redownloading them off the PSN store
I dunno if my vita or the memory card is causing the issue.
I am afraid if I stick the old 32GB memory card into my new vita, it may cause problems.
My vita is not jailbroken or tampered with in any way.
User Info: darkzero000
The core of that problem is how your vita work with your memory card, which include your save. Maybe just me, but turn on Flight mode to cut off all internet, dont use Bluetooth, close all other App, load the old save then make a new save overwrite the old one.
And remember to turn off the vita completely before swap memory card. That should protect your save.

I also experienced that just a while ago with Grand Kingdom, the usual tip is to turn off your wifi and turn on airplane mode, which in my case, did nothing.
I did the opposite and and turned the wifi ON and it works, my workaround atlwast in my case is I turn the wifi on before starting the game and once it is past the main menu, I can turn it off and continue playing.

network/infrastructure error caused by whatever software youre running on the vita.
its not happening in the vita menus and only when whatever game youre playing is running right?
airplane mode fixes the problem prior to running the game for some.
someone above mentioned toggling it on then off, but eh. i just leave it off entirely and have had positive results. ymmv.
its as much a hardware problem as it is a software one.
in essense its a coupling of whatever game youre running with the vitas network/infrastructure running in the background hitting a brick wall.
numerous atlus games have given me this error and if it does it while the game is saving, kiss your save goodbye.
periodically do backups.
especially if running games published by atlus, but really overall as its just better to be safe than sorry.
you shouldnt need a new vita.
you shouldnt need a new memory card.
sidebar:
never ever forever format your vita or your memory card to troubleshoot a problem that is software specific.
formatting should not even be troubleshoot option as if anything its a last resort that should only be done if/when all else fails.
even then, you asked on here and got the answer relatively quick.
all without needing to put stress tests on the vita/mc.
good luck and make backups immediately.
this error will not go away, but at least you can take steps to hinder it from occuring in the future.

Are error caused because his/ her vita games / software not updated till latest version.
If he/ she wanna play with certain version, i think the only option are that vita modified.
