This guide is for the purpose of unlocking every available steam achievement on Wallpaper Engine steam edition.

Adding Wallpapers As Favorites
Disclaimer – I am unsure if the wallpapers you favorite must remain on your favorites or not.
To add a wallpaper as a favorite, click the heart next to the rate up and down buttons.
Keeping an eye on this one – Favorite 10 different wallpapers from the workshop

Workshop and Editor
To open the editor, press the button highlighted by the red arrow. Snipping tool moment
Creativity according to instructions – Use a 2D scene template
Upon opening the wallpaper engine editor you will be greeted with a pop up UI that says ‘Welcome’ in the top right. On this UI click ‘Use a template’, select ‘2D Scene’, give the project a name, select a resolution and than click ‘ok’. This should give you the achievement
Working with 3D models – Use a 3D scene template
This achievement only requires you to follow the same steps above for the previous achievement. The only difference is you must select ‘3D Scene’ instead of ‘2D Scene’.
Sharing is caring – Post a Steam screenshot with a Workshop wallpaper open
To get this achievement, have a steam workshop wallpaper open. In your taskbar click the wallpaper engine icon and then click ‘Take Sceenshot’. Doing this should get you the specified achievement.
High aspirations – Post a scene wallpaper to the workshop
follow the steps for the achievement ‘Creativity according to instructions’. Once that is done select ‘workshop’ and then ‘share on workshop’
Upon doing so you are greeted with the ‘Publish to workshop’ UI. Give your wallpaper a title and preview image. Make sure the visibility is set to unlisted if it is a throwaway project and then click publish. The achievement should be yours.
Video makers – Post a video wallpaper to the workshop
Open the wallpaper engine editor. Upon seeing the ‘Welcome’ UI click ‘Create Wallpaper’ which will ask you to upload a file. You need to upload any random MP4 video file you have. Once the file is uploaded select ‘workshop’ and then ‘share on workshop’ do what the ‘Publish to workshop’ UI asks you to do and you will unlock the achievement.
If you don’t have an MP4 file on your device, you can use the third party website https://www.y2mate.com/en57 and download a short youtube video as an MP4 and use that.
Press any key – Post an app wallpaper to the workshop
I did say you would need to use or create external assets to unlock the achievements. On your windows desktop click on the search icon or bar depending on what you have and search “Notepad”. On the new notepad you opened click ‘file’ and then ‘save as’ in the top right corner.
Now upon giving your file a name Make sure you put .exe at the end of the file name before you save the file to somewhere on your computer.
Once this has been done open the wallpaper engine editor and click the ‘Create wallpaper’ button on the ‘Welcome’ UI. Upload the .exe notepad file to the editor. Once the file is uploaded select ‘workshop’ and then ‘share on workshop’ do what the ‘Publish to workshop’ UI asks you to do and you will unlock the achievement.
The internet on a disk – Post a web wallpaper to the workshop
Follow the same steps as the previous achievement on notepad only this time you need to end the file with <.html>.
Save the .html notepad file somewhere you can find it then open the wallpaper engine editor. On the ‘Welcome’ UI click ‘Create wallpaper’ and upload your .html notepad file to the editor. Once the file is uploaded select ‘workshop’ and then ‘share on workshop’ do what the ‘Publish to workshop’ UI asks you to do and you will unlock the achievement.
Pest – Cause 1 fatal error or trigger 128 warnings in the editor
On your desktop, right click, click new, and click ‘bitmap image’. You can name the file anything you want as long as it has .mp4 at the end of the name.
After this has been done open the wallpaper engine editor and click the ‘Welcome’ UI click ‘Create wallpaper’ and upload the file you just created. Click ‘ok’ and you should get an error. Upon doing so you will also get a ‘Please wait’ UI Which should look something like this.
Once you see this spam click the ‘ok’ button giving you many errors. Spam clicking the button should eventually give you the pest achievement.
Secret Achievements
To unlock this achievement you need to open wallpaper engine and click on the cog button to open settings.
Once settings are open click on ‘About’
While focused on this page you need to press these key inputs in the following order fast
Up – Up – Down – Down – Left – Right – Left – Right – B – A – Enter
This will unlock the achievement and some extra in-app themes for you to use.

Скачать или использовать любое видео в редакторе и выложить
Советую брать недолгое видео, любое, главное — видео должно быть в mp4
(Если тяжко найти видео — то скачайте с ютюба P.S. пишите перед ссылкой на видео «ss»)
После как вставили видео — можете похимичить с ним (если хотите) — выкладываем.
(Пишем все, что от нас требуют: название и т.д.)
После у вас могут попросить принять условия steam и т.д. — соглашаемся.

Берем любой файл и меняем окончание на «.exe» — все как обычно.
Запихиваем наш .exe в пустую папку (важно). Дальше — стандартная процедура как в прошлые разы.
После как вставили — выкладываем. (Пишем все, что от нас требуют: название и т.д.)

Так же как и с «exe», но вставляем «.html» (кидаем в пустую папку)

Берем любые скаченные обои и создаем URL
Вводим любые буквы.
Появляется такая вот штучка, создаем еще таких 5 для удобства от разных.
Жмем их поочередно и по кругу, пока не вылетит «ачивка». (128 раз) Будет подлагивать.

«Trying Something New/Getting The Hang Of It/Hard To Just Pick One/Out Of Disk Space
Use 10/25/50/100 different wallpapers from the Workshop.
Simple as it is said. Download 10/25/50/100 different wallpapers from the Steam Workshop and use them.
«Keeping An Eye On This One/Found Some Good Ones/Fair Collection/Wallpaper Connoisseur»
Favourite 10/20/30/50 different wallpapers from the Workshop.
Another simple achievement. Favourite 10/20/30/50 different wallpapers from the Steam Workshop.
To favourite a wallpaper, simply select the wallaper in Wallpaper Engine and click this star.
«Creativity According To Instructions»
Use a 2D scene template
Open Wallpaper Engine and select «Create Wallpaper».
Select «Use a Template»
Select «Empty 2D» and create a project with that template.
«Working With 3D Models»
Use a 3D scene template.
Exactly the same method as «Creativity According To Instructions», except choose ‘Empty 3D’ instead of ‘Empty 2D’.
«High Aspirations»
Post a scene wallpaper to the workshop.
«The Internet On A Disk»
Post a web wallpaper to the workshop.
Open Notepad, write randomly into it and save it as index.html
Then open up Wallpaper Engine, click «Create Wallpaper» and select the HTML file.
Publish it to the Steam Workshop.
«Press Any Key»
Post an app wallpaper to the workshop.
Same method as «The Internet On A Disk», but save the notepad file as «achievement.exe«.
«Video Makers»
Post a video wallpaper to the Workshop.
«Sharing Is Caring»
Post a Steam screenshot with a workshop wallpaper open.
Click on the Wallpaper Engine icon in your taskbar and select «Take Screenshot».
«Pest»
Cause 1 fatal error OR trigger 128 warnings in the editor.
Open Wallpaper Engine and click «Open From URL».

In the text field, type in «test».
Do this again and name the second one «test2».
Now continously click between each wallpaper. Errors will pop up, and this is what you want. Keep doing this 128 times and the achievement will be unlocked.
In Wallpaper Engine, go to Settings > About.
Press these buttons:
You’ll know if you have done it correctly when the skin of Wallpaper Engine changes.
Congrats! You have all the achievements unlocked for Wallpaper Engine!

Trying Different Wallpapers
These achievements come along just for simply using wallpaper engine to set wallpapers from the workshop to your computer. Just subscribe to a wallpaper and wait for the wallpaper to download and appear as your wallpaper. After that you can safely unsubscribe and uninstall the wallpaper you have used. They must be different wallpapers.
Click the green subscribe button to download a wallpaper.

Adding Wallpapers As Favorites
This section of achievements is as simple as the previous only you must add wallpapers as favorites. They must all be different wallpapers. There are 4 achievements regarding adding wallpapers as your favorites.

Workshop and Editor
Wallpaper Engine editor is used for creating your own wallpapers. You can use external assets and such as it is needed to get some of the achievements regarding the Wallpaper Engine editor. There are 8 achievements.

To unlock this achievement you need to open wallpaper engine and click on the cog button to open settings.

For this achievement we only have to go to the Wallpaper Engine Workshop – [steamcommunity.com]” rel=”nofollow noopener”> Wallpaper Engine Workshop – [steamcommunity.com] and subscribe to any wallpaper, in this way
As you can see above we have a wallpaper, we simply click on where it says Subscribe, now we must open the Wallpaper Engine application and look for the wallpaper to which they subscribed.
They select the wallpaper they subscribed to so they can use it as their wallpaper.
And in this way we will obtain the achievement “Trying something new”.
Note: We will have to subscribe to 10 wallpaper and use them as wallpaper each to get this achievement.

To achieve this achievement, first we must open the Walpaper Engine interface, then we go to where it says “Open Walpaper” and 4 options will appear from which we will have to choose the first one that says “Create a new wallpaper (animations and share)” .
When the editor appears, they must choose the option “Create background”and then they will have to search and select the image that they will use for their wallpaper.
When they select the image, this box will appear, it is not necessary for them to modify anything, so they click on “Accept”
When you load your fund, go to the section with the name “Workshop” and several options will appear from which you will have to choose the option “Share fund in workshop”.
At the time of loading your fund you will have to fill in all the information that you request, you can put anything since after uploading the fund we will obtain the achievement and we will eliminate the fund uploaded to the workshop.

Now we must change the name to the text document by the name “Wallpaper” and finally we change the extension of the txt file by the extensión “exe”.

Практически все пользователи, познакомившиеся с «Fatal error in gc» — игроманы, в хорошем смысле этого слова. Изначально игры браузерные, но разработчики этих самых игр, создают Клиент игры и ошибка выскакивает именно в Клиенте игры, а не в браузерной версии.
Что означает ошибка «Fatal error in gc» и как исправить ошибку «Fatal error in gc»?
Мы решили отследить историю возникновения данной ошибки у пользователей, а точнее у игроманов.
В 2010 году о данной проблеме ещё не слышали и не видели. Тогда, в далёком десятом году, вылетала ошибка «Fatal error in gc», но, правда, с надписью: «Too many heap sections», что явно не с нашей оперы. Наша, рассматриваемая проблема, появилась ровно через десять месяцев, в конце 10-ого, начале 11-ого годов.
В 2011 году начинают появляться призывы о помощи в решении проблемы с «Fatal error in gc» в играх «Wolf Quest» и «Prime World». В те далёкие времена начали появляться всплывающие окошки от виндовс с надписью «Неисправимая ошибка» или «Фатальная ошибка».
И, начиная с 2011 года, начали регулярно всплывать мольбы о помощи на различного рода игровых форумах. Ошибка «Fatal error in gc» появилась в 2013 году в играх: «King’s Bounty: Legions» и «Contra City».
И вот уже сейчас, спустя шесть лет (с 2011 по 2017), проблема остаётся трудно решаемой. Одни советуют одно, другие советуют второе. Как же решить проблему со всплывающей «Фатальной ошибкой»?
Как решить проблему: «Fatal error in gc: Get Thread Context failed»?
Сразу отметим, что причиной возникновения этого лага не есть антивирусники. Отключать, удалять и переустанавливать антивирусник, не важно Kaspersky Anti-Virus это или Dr.Web CureIt – это не решит проблему. Но, отказываться от совета или нет, решать вам: «Необходимо отключить антивирусник, а точнее Real-time shield защиту, потом почистить кеш и перезапусть игровой Клиент». Маловероятно, что проблема у вас решиться, но исключить данный вариант решения вопроса следует
Суть проблемы «Fatal error in gc: Get Thread Context failed» — это несовместимость игры с вашей ОС. Грубовато сказано, но зато доходчиво, ведь действительно проблема в совместимости, которую можно решать несколькими путями.
Решение вопроса с совместимостью
Для решения совместимости программы (игрового клиента) следует кликнуть по иконке игры или по файлу с разрешением .exe правой кнопкой мыши.
В появившемся окошке, выбираем пункт «Исправление проблем с совместимостью».
Дальнейшие действия очень просты. В появившемся окошке, вам необходимо будет определиться с выбором варианта решения проблемы с совместимостью.
Первый пункт. В первом варианте вам будет предложено решить проблему с совместимостью с помощью рекомендованных параметров. При выборе именно этого пункта решения вопроса совместимости, всё закончится довольно таки быстро. Windows решит проблему методом присвоения параметров, которые соответствуют режиму совместимости с Windows Windows 8.
Второй пункт «Диагностика программы» — это долгий путь, который будет закончен режимом совместимости Windows Windows XP. Попробуйте оба варианта совместимости и остановитесь на том варианте, который устраняет возникновение «Fatal error in gc».

У меня тоже процессор AMD Phenom II x4. Модель не помню. Какая у тебя видеокарта и сколько оперативной памяти? Всё делал как в видео?
Кастыль, не играбельно. Через N-ое время наичнает безбожно тормозить.

Круто конечно, что и лицензия запускается через эмулятор, но кто-нибудь в курсе собираются разработчики это поправлять?
Ведь по факту толку от того что они юзают SSE4a никакого — лучше бы оптимизировали игру и поправили местами управление — местами очень неудобно.

Метод устранения ошибки
Устранить ошибку не так уж и сложно, вам всего лишь нужно:
- Зайти в папку с игрой.
- Найти в ней папку gamedata и удалить ее.
- Далее , если игра скачана в Steam, о найдите ее в библиотеке, щелкните правой кнопкой и выберите «Обновить кэш».
- Также, если вы используете моды, то рекомендуется использовать только один мод оружия.
Радостная новость заключается в том, что переустановка игры не требуется и после этих нехитрых действий ошибка должна пропасть. Приятной игры!
