Processing error no data received from tsmuxer trying again

Did you ever see one sample of Canon?
Somehow managed to convert that file?

I had no time this weekend, but I have the file and I’ll try later this week.

Open any mpls file (with hex editor or BDedit) and check it — you’ll see what mode you used.

Trim end is applied before transcoding. Trim start — after.

I don’t know if you saw this or not, but what did you think of my «work around» for the Canon .mov files?

Did you ever see one sample of Canon?
Somehow managed to convert that file?

I believe this file was the sample, right? MVI0005.MOV

Yes, I modified multiAVCHD for mov processing and it now works.

Adub’s sample also works, but because of non-compliant video properties it has to be transcoded! Without transcoding it causes tsMuxeR to fail, because of frame-overflow (height > 1080).

But here it did not work . the program is no longer accepting capital letters then renamed yet still gives error.

Sorry.. uploaded the wrong version.

Start multiUPDATE.exe to get the proper one and try again

Program ACCEPTS capital letters. It doesn’t accept non-ANSI characters (only a-z A-Z).

Program ACCEPTS capital letters. It doesn’t accept non-ANSI characters (only a-z A-Z).

But if the file is inside a folder with unsupported characters, gives the error.

Yes. The whole path+filename should not contain non-ANSI characters. I don’t like it too, but it avoids certain error-processing cases.

If you have the chance to try with longer MOV file — let me know. It should all work properly now — no video reencoding — all original.

Once I’m with camera in hand, will do more conversions and tell you here.

Again, thank you!

Also in the latest Boeing 747 build

* Fixed: infinite loop (player lock-up) after last (or each) title playback when compilation has no menu (when [-] Play all is not enabled)
* Fixed: (HD)DVD compliant option processing both for HD and SD DVD video output
* Possibly fixed: rare errors with SD-DVD (buffer underruns)
* Possibly fixed: errors during encoding motion menus, related to avisynth and directshow with some sources (50/60fps)
* Improved: MOV file processing

Latest attempt to make something that can be played off a memory stick results in an unplayable file for the Curtis. Maybe I can steal the subs though if it converted them to SRT and play the original MKV. Will also try to make a regular disc version. I didn’t want to do that because the file size is so small (about 350 MB) but as an experiment.

It also didn’t keep the original sub file as an srt but converted it to something that even VLC can’t play. I tried to use the original subs from the video but none of the editor programs will allow it to be saved as an SRT (Jubler, Aegisub, Subtitle Workshop, etc.). What does multiAVCHD use to convert ass subs to srt or sup (sup cannot be played as a Blu Ray, MKV or AVCHD however)?

Here is the full audio-theme used in multiAVCHD default menu audio background. (no rights infringed)

Thanks for the quick fix there Deank! I’ll be more than happy to test it when I get home!

Oh, I see. I assume you are in the «Properties» window then.

Well, as the front page of this thread states:
Input formats for audio files and audio titles (files):

mp2 mp3 ac3
pcm ogg wav
flac mlp fla
lpcm dts dtshd
cue (playlist)
wpl (playlist)
m3u (playlist)

So, no, I don’t believe that thd is supported.

I made some videos samples in the range of 1 minute each for testing.
But only 2 were processed and the others gave error .
Here only part of the log, which is too long to post whole.
What do you think happened?

i found a bug:
«menu -> advanced -> background audio» option is not saved to or loaded from project file and always resets to «default».

Also I think that «compilation name» should be set at «author» or «media» tab and kept on project file.

But it is not working for me,i do not know why?

I’m using 734 of today.

In my opinion the motion thumb is actually created right from the very beginning of the video, mostly the title of the video is shown.
If I remember right, then it was in earlier builds that you didn’t use the first and the last 10% of the video to create motion thumbs, right?

The background is created as it was earlier.

Any possibility to change back as it was?

Thanks Dean for your statement! My hair is much more grey than yours, so please accept my appology

BTW: I’ve just got this error (see attachment) when pressing » Attached Images

I managed to get this error only once and never again. I think it has something to do with the available memory or something. Can you find a way to get it each time you do what you do?

«Scrolling» thru titles is done always the same way, no matter if you’re at the first title, browsing to the last with >>. Just to be sure, use multiUPDATE.exe to get the last build.

May be it happens if the program loses focus. I really don’t know.

Right now I’m creating a huge compilation over the night, so I come back tomorrow.

Do you can give me any hint for using DVB-HD files? I’m getting massive probs, probably because changing of audio (the files aren’t perfect cut, so some minutes of the movie before and after are within the file) and / or that *#$%!-teletext-streams.

I’ve got lots of errors like

It’s not urgent, because I will let my PC work through the night.

There was this glitch with SLIDE menu: Motion title thumbnail reflection will stuck after 10 seconds and won’t actually reflect the main title thumbnail video for the remaining 22 seconds of menu video. It was just fixed.

How can I send such a large file to you? Please tell me how to cut it that it is not crippeled by cutting

Unfortunately tsMuxeRGUI shows error on loading such a file:

— I have used the exact same options as multiAVCHD shows in the log (MUXOPT —no-pcr-on-video-pid —new-audio-pes —blu-ray —vbr etc.)

— on loading a (problematic) DVB-HD-ts-file tsMuxeRGUI shows an error:

-BUT when clicking the error away then the file IS recognized (sometimes only the video-stream, sometimes video- and audio-stream) and I can process it with tsMuxeRGUI.

This ist the log of multiAVCHD:

And this is the log of tsMuxeRGUI (still running at the moment):

And this is the GUI-meta-file:

The source is exactly the same.

I’m really wondering why multiAVCHD lets tsMuxeR recognize the audio-stream while the tsMuxeRGUI doesn’t.

BTW: I have removed in title properties the second audio stream and the teletext-stream before starting multiAVCHD.

If you want I will do any test you want

multiAVCHD parses to tsMuxeR a meta with everything which is detected and should be processed by tsMuxeR. For some reason tsMuxeR won’t accept the audio track (it is not a fault in multiAVCHD).

I guess it is a result of some editing of the file (cutting??) which broke the AC3 stream at the worst possible packet (as a header packet).

The editor software is to take the blame (you used one). Does it happen with raw unprocessed files from your DV recorder?

The file I’ve used in this case is exact the file as it was recorded by my dreambox.

I took the .ts-file and got the result.

This file contained (according to title properties) two audio-streams and a teletext-stream.

I just started tsMuxeR right now again (without GUI, what’s new for me) and tsMuxeR accepted the file with the meta just copied out of the multiAVCHD-log, BUT:

So this seems to be the reason. I think these 6,4% are according to the time between «Media split set. » and «Important files missing. » in the log.

Do you have any hint how to avoid this buffer overflow?

Sorry for these questions in the middle of the night — just say good night and I can go to bed

I just found something «weired»

On top of the tsMuxeR-window (opened by multiAVCHD) it says C:multiAVCHDtoolstsmuxer199.exe and in the window it begins with «SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.9.9. «

In the log of multiAVCHD it’s version 1.10.6 (the one I also use separately).

This is the log of this moment:

Just for your information.

best regards & good night

and multiAVCHD tries with another tsMuxeR version. Also, make sure to rename the ‘ь’ (from ьber) in your path/file name. multiAVCHD and tsMuxeR sometime fail with non-ANSI characters in the path/file names.

So there were these users crying and dying for avisynth (avs) file import support in multiAVCHD for the last year and since I added it few weeks ago I got zero feedback about it.

Saying this I was wondering if it deserves the time to publish (and troubleshoot) something I prepared last summer (as a standalone parser multiEDIT) which allows *full* customization of the authored menu pages. Since multiAVCHD got the «Custom menu templates» it is easier to integrate it than using it as a separate application.

It is an AviSynth script, which a user can load and override multiAVCHD menu scripts.

It supports macro commands/names to let the user access current title thumbnail/video/chapter images and previous 3 and the next 3 menu pages.

It supports loading external avisynth plug-ins, images, videos, anything one may decide.

Macro tags like:

(which means that you can use [$[CTMB]$] in your avisynth script and use multiAVCHD generated motion background for the current title or [$my_video.m2ts$] to use your own. )

There are a lot of other macro tags for title names, duration or any other property of a title, too.

Such ‘menu programming’ allows full customization. I have no idea how many users may find it useful, but I’ll put it on hold before I get feedback.

Using this feature (added as a tab in the [more] -> custom menu templates box as User AviSynth script) allows creation of any number of different menu styles/visions (based on XMB/Slide) — (I have 4 menus in store, being not really creative design-wise).

Hi Dean,

I don’t know if you saw this or not, but what did you think of my «work around» for the Canon .mov files?

@Beatnut, do you still have the original project file? It is saved by default in your output directory.

Open any mpls file (with hex editor or BDedit) and check it — you’ll see what mode you used.

Sorry.. uploaded the wrong version.

Start multiUPDATE.exe to get the proper one and try again

Program ACCEPTS capital letters. It doesn’t accept non-ANSI characters (only a-z A-Z).

Now it worked!

Thank you Dean!

But if the file is inside a folder with unsupported characters, gives the error.

Yes… The whole path+filename should not contain non-ANSI characters. I don’t like it too, but it avoids certain error-processing cases.

If you have the chance to try with longer MOV file — let me know. It should all work properly now — no video reencoding — all original.

Ok,

Once I’m with camera in hand, will do more conversions and tell you here.

Again, thank you!

***

Also in the latest Boeing 747 build

* Fixed: infinite loop (player lock-up) after last (or each) title playback when compilation has no menu (when [-] Play all is not enabled)
* Fixed: (HD)DVD compliant option processing both for HD and SD DVD video output
* Possibly fixed: rare errors with SD-DVD (buffer underruns)
* Possibly fixed: errors during encoding motion menus, related to avisynth and directshow with some sources (50/60fps)
* Improved: MOV file processing

Latest attempt to make something that can be played off a memory stick results in an unplayable file for the Curtis. Maybe I can steal the subs though if it converted them to SRT and play the original MKV. Will also try to make a regular disc version. I didn’t want to do that because the file size is so small (about 350 MB) but as an experiment….

If you’re converting mkv files to AVCHD with multiAVCHD and then playing the m2ts file directly you’ll never get subtitles. I’m not really sure what you’re trying to do. Try to use [AVCHD strict] button after you click [START] or do not create a menu…

Is it possible to add a Dolby TrueHD file as an external audio? I have a .264 that I created using x264 and a .thd that I extracted from Blu-ray using eac3to. I made sure to use the eac3to extension thd+ac3 to retain the ac3 core. When I try to add the renamed (thd+ac3 —> thd) file as external audio multiavchd doesn’t add the file.

Read you log file. It should tell you why the file was not added.

No log file is created. When I click to add the external audio it doesn’t add it to the compilation.

Oh, I see. I assume you are in the «Properties» window then.

Well, as the front page of this thread states:
Input formats for audio files and audio titles (files):

mp2 mp3 ac3
pcm ogg wav
flac mlp fla
lpcm dts dtshd
cue (playlist)
wpl (playlist)
m3u (playlist)

So, no, I don’t believe that thd is supported.

That was thought but I wanted to make sure. tsMuxeR recognizes the stream fine.

i found a bug:
«menu -> advanced -> background audio» option is not saved to or loaded from project file and always resets to «default».

Also I think that «compilation name» should be set at «author» or «media» tab and kept on project file.

tsMuxer error 134 [SOLVED]

tsMuxer error 134 [SOLVED]

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has seen this error before. I can’t seem to find any references to it :)

Code: Select all
[Thread-149] TRACE 08:55:36.993 Starting transcode/remux of my_test_file.mkv

When I check the log I get this:

I just can’t run it from my PS3. Any ideas? Or any ideas how I could troubleshoot this better? :)

Process ffmpeg has a return code of 1! Maybe an error occured… check the log file

means that ffmpeg is the error cause, not tsmuxer

Any ideas why ffmpeg would cause an error «1»? running ffmpeg from command line I get no errors. What was tsmuxer or pms using ffmpeg for that would cause it to error? If I knew what it was trying to do I might have a better chance troubleshooting :)
Thanks!!

are you using latest version? ffmpeg is used to extract some AVC informations
you can also post a more large debug.log :p

lol absolutely (and thanks again shagrath)

Here’s the log from start to finish when I try to use tsmuxer as well as my version of ffmpeg

ffmpeg version:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg      SVN-rUNKNOWN
libavutil   3212032
libavcodec  3352064

Yeah ok not so nice on the version as it’s an svn version lol .. I do know it’s the version that comes with Kubuntu (lenny/sid). Here’s a full log and trace right from starting PMS to having it erorr out on me trying to use tsmuxer:

So it looks like it can’t find the frame rate :?although tsmuxer finds a frame rate:

Code: Select all
Stream info: Profile: [email protected]  Resolution: 1280:536p  Frame rate: 23.976

I’ve tried with and without the option to «force using the frame rate found form ffmpeg» and the outcome is the same, on the PS3 al I see is «the file is corrupt» … if I use the default for PMS (mencoder) it plays the file fine. I just wanted to see if using tsmuxer would solve some of my audio sync issues with some other files :)

just post the whole file… I need what’s done before that (ffmpeg -i … -f h264 etc.)

ok sorry (was trying to spare you weeding through 2000+ lines … guess I’m not much of a help if I cut out what you need lol)

I put it Up on one of my wiki’s because it was too big to paste it all here :)

I give you 2000 lines and you find the issue in 60 seconds .. damnit!! lol .. ok I’ll grab a new version and compile from scratch … wonder how much other crap I’m going to need to recompile. Is there something special I’ll need to enabe in my config for ffmpeg to have h264_mp4toannexb be happy and enabled/found?

thanks again shagrath, I should have just listened when you originally said it was too old

Edit: Ahhhhh !!! I can’t get to their site today :(.. I’m thinking people are saturating their servers seeing as how 0.5 was just released this Tuesday … bugger :(

Re: tsMuxer error 134 [SOLVED]

Postby SpEnTBoY » Thu Mar 12, 2009 11:20 pm

Ok last post for this tpoic from me. I upgraded my entire Kubuntu installation to 8.1x from 8.04 and with that, a more recent version of ffmpeg etc … everything appears to be working awesome, even other issues that were not in this thread. I’m going to do more testing and then go update my other non «issues»

Again, thanks Shagrath!! (BTW sweet friggn app!!) lol
