So for us, the solution is to use a VPN service (I recommend hide.me ). ALTHOUGH using a VPN on steam is questionable in terms of legality (specially the use of steamstore while on VPN) and can suspend the account.

In the pop-up Windows Security window proceed to the top and select “Domain Network”.
Here locate the option of “Microsoft Defender Firewall” and turn it off using the slide button.

This is a problem that has plagued the community for literally months. After connecting to a match, the client will randomly and extremely frequently disconnect. Here are many examples, for many months:

I recently made a thread about this, and here was an example of what the bug would look like:

Midway through a match, my game will freeze up. All we had to do was go into the Control Panel, and change the ethernet properties to use a different DNS server connection than the default ISP. Apparently Google has their DNS server settings open and public, and it’s 8.8.8.8, and then the backup DNS is 8.8.4.4. So we set those up, and it has never disconnected or crashed since.

EDIT: Instead of using Google’s DNS servers, and giving them even more data on your browsing, folks in the comments shared that there are other great alternatives! VeriSign uses these numbers instead: 64.6.64.6 and 64.6.65.6 .

Found a quick solution that works when the error comes back

After testing this a few times this is what works for me. When I receive the Error Code [2-0x0000c015] I verify integrity of game files and then open the Command Prompt. To access this you do Windows Key+R then type CMD When the Command Prompt opens, type into it- ipconfig/flushdns Do this multiple times (I did it 5-10 times) When done flushing your DNS then restart your router and then launch your game and that should do it.
