Встретить ситуацию с пропаданием связи, когда нарушается интернет-соединение, можно достаточно часто. Отключение чаще всего происходит не по вине пользователя. Что делать, если пишет «Internet connection error» (имеется в виду предупреждение, содержащееся в системном сообщении), мы сейчас и посмотрим. Более того, попробуем разобрать основные причины возникновения таких ситуаций и обратим внимание на возможные методы их устранения.

Internet connection error: что делать?

Итак, если рассматривать основные причины отключения интернета, чаще всего в их числе приоритетное место занимает проникновение на компьютер вирусов, исполняемых апплетов, называемых Malware и Adware, а также неправильная настройка самого подключения.

Сейчас будем исходить из того, что с оплатой услуг провайдера все в порядке, а сетевое оборудование работает без сбоев. Хотя, в общем-то, в некоторых случаях при постоянном появлении сообщения об отсутствии подключения может потребоваться повторная инсталляция драйверов сетевых устройств или установка корректных параметров маршрутизатора, например роутера при наличии сетевых подключений.

Восстановление системы

Если сбой произошел ни с того ни с сего, раньше все работало как часы, а сейчас на экране появилось сообщение Internet connection error, что делать, будет понятно, если обратить внимание именно на время возникновения такой ситуации.

Действительно, мало ли какие настройки «слетели». Самым простым способом устранения проблемы станет обычный откат системы до контрольной точки, но она во временном промежутке может быть более ранней, чем время появления сбоя.

Проверка на вирусы и вредоносные коды

Теперь посмотрим, как поступить, если первый способ ничего не дал, и система снова выдает предупреждение Internet connection error. Что делать? Но и такие утилиты могут не определять потенциально нежелательное ПО, заменяющее оригинальный файл HOSTS или вносящее в него собственные записи. В этом случае потребуется использовать утилиты вроде Adware Cleaner или что-то похожее.

Проверка параметров подключения

Если потенциальных или существующих угроз не обнаружено, можно проверить настройки самого подключения. Допустим, система снова выдает предупреждение вроде Internet connection error. Что делать теперь?

Необходимо зайти в свойства подключения и проверить настройки протокола TCP/IP. Желательно (что применяется в большинстве случаев) использовать автоматическое получение адресов IP и DNS-сервера. Иногда стоит обратить внимание на задействование прокси. Если провайдер не поддерживает предоставление таких услуг, прокси-сервер необходимо отключить (снять галочку на соответствующем поле). В крайнем случае нужно ввести правильные значения для всех задействованных полей (их предоставляет провайдер при подключении пользовательского компьютера к интернету или системный администратор в случае с сетевыми терминалами).

Использование специальных утилит восстановления

Кроме всего вышесказанного, если пользователь не хочет или не может заниматься устранением проблемы самостоятельно, могут помочь специальные программы восстановления интернет-подключения и всего, что с этим связано.

Одной из самых простых и интересных автоматизированных утилит является программа Complete Internet Repair. По большому счету пользователю нужно всего лишь запустить процесс сканирования на наличие проблем, после чего активировать их исправление. В обоих процессах участие юзера сведено к минимуму.

Заключение

Естественно, это далеко не все причины, которые могут повлиять на отключение интернета. Скажем так: здесь были рассмотрены наиболее часто возникающие штатные и нештатные ситуации. Но, как уже можно заметить, способы устранения проблемы в большинстве случаев достаточно просты и могут быть выполнены юзером любого уровня подготовки.

  I’ve been getting this message when I try and play some games. Flash 9.0.115 is required to view this content. Your current version is 9.0.47. Please download the latest Flash Player.

  But every time and try and download it I get this error message NETWORK ERROR. PLEASE CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION AND TRY AGAIN.

  I’ve tried changing settings but nothings working, can anyone please help me

  Same incredibly frustrating problem. If you haven’t already determined the cause,it’s apparently because of the download manager used for multiple Adobe products. (Explains why I haven’t been able to update Adobe for a long time — in spite of the fact that I’m on a Broadband connection. I think it’s because it’s wireless, and can have a high error rate, or lots of traffic.) It’s the Akamai Download Manager .

  Have not yet figured out what to do. I did notice more messages on this forum re: same issue downloading other products. There’s also info on Troubleshooting the Downloading Manager which I haven’t explored.

  Good luck to us all — (or do post if you’ve fixed this!!)

  I SOLVED IT. LATEST FLASH IS INSTALLED.

  Here’s what I did:

  Read the information in the service note about the ridiculously sensitive download manager (DM)

  ID:	kb400530

  It gives instructions about internet settings necessary for the DM to work on multiple browsers. I use IE 7. Some were really non-obvious, like windows need to have no constraints on size, position. Most have to do with security, Active X settings.

  However even after I followed the directions, I got the same error message.

  But I’d gotten the general idea of what the DM needed, and went back to my Internet Options, and made a couple of additional changes. I’m not sure which of these was responsible for the success, but I’m resetting them afterward anyway.

  For all the settings in which they allowed Prompt or Enable, I chose ENABLE.

  I set Enable (vs. Prompt) for Download signed Active X controls (not secure) — this prompts a security risk bar, which didn’t interfere

  Set ENABLE for Run components not signed with Authenticode

  Set ENABLE for Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt

  Set DISABLE for Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls

  Set DISABLE for Automatice Prompting of ActiveX controls

  Set DISABLE for Use Pop-Up Blocker

  Set ENABLE for everything in under Scripting section

  Anyway, you get the idea. I was trying to give the poor software every break I could, and it downloaded with no problem.

  And then, the acid test. I tried the site that had crashed because of lack of Flash 10 — and it tna perfectly.

  We have just discussed what to do during the regular network problems that we could usually encounter. This was already mentioned at a post before this, but for those who would not want to check it out anymore, the steps stated there were simple. They are too simple that perhaps I could share a few with you before I give you the solution to the issue that I stated in the title.

  This is because sometimes, this problem is a network connection problem as well, obviously. Hence sharing the solutions discussed the previous post could also be of help to you. First of the solutions stated are the resets. There are two types of resets.

  Next, you can try resetting the network settings. There’s a warning before performing this though. You should know your settings first before resetting it as you might be asked to enter them again after the reset. In any case, you could also try resetting the router if ever this problem happens. Resetting the router could also solve the problem as the router could remember your original network settings.

  Please check your network connection and try again later.

  Now, if resetting your settings and your router, as well as resetting your device are not enough to solve your network problems, then here is a small trick that you can try. This could usually solve the issue that shows the prompt that says “Please check your network connection and try again later”. This message could be brought about by a number of reasons. Maybe there’s just a connection problem regarding your network company, but if you cannot wait for it to be fixed, or if you feel that that is not the case for you.

  This is by changing your domain name server (DNS) to one of Google’s public DNS – if your own is not working. This could be done by accessing your Settings, then selecting WiFi, then tap on the blue arrow. Look for the space where you’re going to enter a DSN. Once found, simply type the following: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 . After this, log in to your iMessage, and you’re all set.

  i’ve problem when running my application, the application cant load the data ( «Unable to load data. Please check your network connection and try again.»)

  also the Grid and textbox are displaying a Red «X» in the upper left hand corner.

  Thanks for all that. I gave up, deleted & recreated the project using just the simplified name from the very beginning. I read in a post somewhere that having periods in names caused problems & my project name did have a period in it.

  This time it worked!

  So I hope the team are watching these posts..

  Is your application using Authentication?

  Can you verify that you can connect to your application database from your server location via the credentials you specified when you deployed the application?

  I’ve just hit this in a new, very simple app that just connects to an external SQL Server. Table definitions appear, just red x when a grid is based on the entity.

  B2 has REALLY screwed up something to do with authentication! (In this case EVEN with auth set to none).

  I’ve tried setting auth to none, I’ve tried all the official IE suggestions, I’ve tried removing spaced from the app name. I can connect to the DB with the credentials I provided when I attached the DB, but no data!

  Something so simple shouldn’t be this damned hard.

  What specific files did you find needed changing?

  

  

  MAke sure your solution explorer is in file view..then check out the Service Configuration File and the Service Definition File. Look through those settings and make sure the App name is the same as it is in the Properties sheet. Make sure all spaces are correct..and make sure you don’t have an leading or trailing spaces. You may also try changing this line to false in the config file:

  It’s the last line. It will make sure you arent forced into running https.

  

  

  I’d love to say «yay, that worked», but unfortunately it didn’t. I made all 3 changes you suggested.

  You were right, the name in those two files didn’t match the app’s name, not even after I changed the app name to something very simply (3 capital letters).

  hmm. double check the names again. Believe me. it’s worth checking the spaces one more time..trailing AND leading spaces. Maybe also try closing Visual studio and reopening the project. Sometimes i also click clean project and rebuild in the build menu. Hmm..also make sure you can connect to the external data source using those same credentials from the server explorer.

  I had this problem also. And none of the help suggested worked for me. What I found was that I was actually not logging in correctly

  I am running WIN7 64 bit and building ther lightswitch app in VS2010 ultimate.

  After creating a simple demo project I get same error

  What I noticed was that I was being asked to login.

  and that an unseccesful login was not caught by the application. (to try this yourself, login with a deliberately wrong name or password).

  The application will start and the red X will appear on your grid.

  This led me to think thatthe problem lay in authorization on the data.

  So I checked that I was logging in using a account that has access to the data.

  What I did was creat a database is sql server manager in .sqlexpress

  then in sql manager navigate to the security folder under the new database I created.

  view users and open the DBO node. The owner should be same username I use when I log in to my LS application.
