Skyrim nemesis error 1210

Can’t quite get this error figured out. At first, everything worked fine, then I guess I messed around with mods and when I went to relaunch nemesis, it keeps giving me this error

ERROR(1210): Vital behavior file cannot be found. This will cause T-pose in game. To fix this, either reinstall the mod or manually restore this behavior file

File: d:steamlibrarysteamappscommonskyrim special editiondatameshesactorscharacterbehaviorssprintbehavior.hkx

I’ve manually verified that sprintbehavior.hkx is in fact missing from the specified directory.

In nemesis, I have checked (ascending order by priority):

  1. Flinching Animations

  2. zxlice’s ultimate potion animation

  3. Maxsu Stagger Direction Fix

  4. BashBehaviorsOverhaul (null)

  5. SkySA

  6. True Directional Movement

  7. The Ultimate Dodge Mod

  8. zxlice hitstop fixed

Enabled mods (alphabetic order):

  • (SGC) SkySA

  • (SGC) SkySA — First Person View SSE

  • (SGC) SkySA — Intense Combat

  • Achievements Mods Enabler SE-AE

  • Address Library for SKSE

  • Animation Motion Revolution

  • Bash Behavior Overhaul

  • DynamicAnimationReplacer

  • Elder Souls — Sweep Attacks SE

  • JH Combat Animation Pack SE

  • MCM Helper SE

  • Nemesis

  • OnHit Animations Framework SSE

  • Script free Flinching

  • SKyUI

  • SmoothCam

  • Stagger Direction Fix SSE

  • True Directional Movement

  • TUDM Script Fixes

  • TUDM

  • Ultimate Combat and Creature Behavior’s Nemesis Compatibility

  • Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch

  • zxlice hitStop — SSE

  • zxlice’s ultimate potion animation

I’ve tried clearing out these directories and relaunching nemesis:

  • DataNemesis_Enginecache

  • DataNemesis_Enginecached_behaviors

  • DataNemesis_EngineLib

  • DataNemesis_Enginetemp_behaviors

I’ve tried reinstalling all the above enabled mods. I’ve tried verifying the games file integrity through Steam and I’ve tried just rebooting my machine. Now I’m out of ideas.

UPDATE 1:

I disabled every single mod and started over adding them back piecemeal. I enabled SkySA (and the first person fix, and Intense Combat). It is the only enabled mod requiring nemesis, and now when I run nemesis it gives me the same error, except now it’s for a different file:

just the behavior engine.
unless you want to see the program. then you may want to use the source code. and editor.

okay so I installed nemesis after uninstalling FNIS. I made sure the game ran fine after uninstalling fnis as well. After installing nemesis (I use Vortex), I added it to my tools and it works; however, it doesn’t give me an option of checking Combat Gameplay Overhaul and Archery Gameplay Overhaul. After multiple attempts, CGO appeared and I ticked the box and ran nemesis (still no option for AGO). I was given an error saying, «ERROR(1210): Vital behavior file cannot be found. This will cause T-pose in game. To fix this, either reinstall the mod or manually restore this behavior file
File: c:program files (x86)steamsteamappscommonskyrim special editiondatameshesactorscharacterbehaviors jumpbehavior.hkx»
I couldnt find this behavior anywhere though so I didn’t know what to do with this information.
So, I launched the game and tested out to see if anything was broken. CGO was working great in 1st person, but third person, the dodge animation, switching between one and two handed idol animations, and the procedural leaning and unlocked body thing were not working. First person everything seemed to be working properly.
I do not know how to fix this or what the cause of this is.
I then tried running Nemesis exe from its location in my skyrim folder instead of through the tool section of Vortex. Running through here said, » warning: failed to read mod cache». What exactly does that mean?

I am at a loss for what I should do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: After re-running nemesis a few times, CGO decided to work in its entirety. Although, there is a slight delay when attempting to bash with 2 swords equip. As well as a new weird issue where when I sprint jump, footsteps continue playing while I’m in the air. Still, AGO does not appear in the patches list when running Nemesis and neither does animated armory. How do I make nemesis detect these mods? I don’t know if any gamebreaking issues are going to occur but I still would like to have Nemesis do what it will to these mods. AGO seems to be fine but Animated armory doesn’t seem to work without the patch that nemesis is supposed to have. So sorry if these are simple fixes, I just don’t really know how to solve them.

I’ve seen Nemesis around, but I thought FNIS was working well enough and didn’t install this. Oh, silly girl. lol

I deactivated FNIS, installed this, got the C++ redistributable, ran Nemesis, and right away got a warning where I found out I had a 32-bit animation, which I swapped out for a 64-bit anim from a mod I love. All my animation mods work as intended, and I realize they weren’t entirely working with FNIS.

Thank you again for this, @shikyokira and everyone who tested this and made it so amazing

ERROR(1210): Vital behaviour file cannot be found #386

    Comments

    Tsui22 commented Sep 16, 2020

I use this engine for the first time through mode manager 2 And this error occurred Failed to generate behaviour.
They told me:reinstall the mod Or manually restore this behaviour file:or manually restore this behaviour file: Skyrim/data/meshes/actors/character/behaviours/fakeblock.hkx
    Failed to generate behaviour
But I can’t find these files anywhere
Could somebody please tell me how to do 😭 😭

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:

    daguila1 commented Sep 19, 2020

I had a similar issue, here is how I solved it:

    1. Verify Integrity of Game Files on steam (Not sure if this actually does anything, but do it just in case)
    2. Run Nemesis
    3. Update Engine
    4. Check the animation mods you have installed and Launch Nemesis Engine
    5. When it’s done, it will still probably give you that error, but don’t delete the output stuff in the overwrite folder, just create a new mod from it and make sure it is checked.
    6. Run Nemesis again
    7. Update engine again (engine version might change here)
    8. Launch Nemesis Engine again

This second run didn’t produce the error for me, so hopefully it’ll be the same for you. The main reason I did this is because I noticed that in the runs which gave me error 1210, when I updated the engine, it was giving me a different engine version than other times. Running it twice fully updated the engine to the one in which all were successful, but idk this is just what worked for me.

Bumping this issue, I’ve had the same occur with bow_direction_behavior.hkx

Error 1210: Nemesis is telling me that behavior files are missing that none of my mods touch #285

    Comments

    BetaFalcon13 commented Jun 2, 2020

So I’m getting an error that says «ERROR(1210): Vital behavior file cannot be found. This will cause T-pose in game. To fix this, either reinstall the mod or manually restore this behavior file
    File: c:program files (x86)steamsteamappscommonskyrim special editiondatameshesactorscharacterbehaviorsswimidlebehavior.hkx»

I have looked through every single mod I have installed and not one of them contains this behavior file, so I checked the file previews for all of the ones that affect behaviors and as far as I can tell none of my mods are supposed to contain this file. Does Nemesis somehow delete files from the game’s archives? Because the only instance of swimidlebehavior.hkx that I could possibly have is the vanilla one

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:

    LaFlame6 commented Jun 2, 2020

I am having the same issue; however, my behavior file is: jumpbehavior.hkx
My error reads exactly the same though, just that different behavior error.

    ShikyoKira commented Jun 2, 2020

Because you guys are trying to install CBE on SSE that you got from Nexus. And that so called «CBE» in SE section of Nexus has missing files. Go download and convert the CBE from the LE section using CAO

This mod from SE nexus is giving me nothing but trouble. I’m not mad at you guys, but the uploader (Oracus0), not Zartar the creator

    BetaFalcon13 commented Jun 2, 2020 •

I actually do not have either version of that mod installed, I looked into it, but decided it was too old and would cause too many issues, so I never even downloaded it

The only mods I have that are relevant are CGO, AGO, and XPMSSE

    ShikyoKira commented Jun 2, 2020

post the log shown in Nemesis when you launch the patch

    BetaFalcon13 commented Jun 2, 2020 •

I would love to, but I have since reverted to an earlier set of behavior files generated by Nemesis, and I am now unable to recreate the issue

EDIT: I was able to find a log file in my recycle bin, uploading here
    PatchLog.txt

    ShikyoKira commented Jun 3, 2020

wait, does updating the engine and then generate the behavior files give you the same error again?

    BetaFalcon13 commented Jun 3, 2020

It does not, I am unable to recreate the issue. Not sure what the problem was, when trying to generate new behavior files I completely uninstalled the previous ones, ran the engine exactly as I had before, and got the error, but then after reinstalling the old ones I was able to update them with no issue
