Several times we wrote to technical support Fortnite on this issue and tried to solve it on their own. In total, we have compiled several useful solutions for error code: “AS-1041”. Lucky for me, my 2-factor was already on and saved me from a whole lot of bullshit. And the worst part is, i never even use that account anywhere other than my phone so i have no idea how they got my password.
If you guys have an epic account or play Fortnite, and its tied to your PS4 or Xbox, i suggest you turn on the 2-factor authentication on it immediately. Save yourself the trouble like i did.
