Помогите пожалуйста. Когда отправляю лист в ексель на печать, то вместо того, что было в документе принтер печатает:

INTERNAL ERROR — IllegalResolution
POSITION :0x0
SYSTEM: h6fw_5.40/xl_tbl
LINE: 678
VERSION: SPL 5.40 03-10-2010

И это происходит только с одним и тем же документом, скачивал этот документ с разных источников, пытался печатать на других принтерах , другие документы в эксель печатает нормально (док., прикрепил к сообщ.).

Здравствуйте. Это не 100% что дело в перепрошивке, но 99. 1 процент на то что глюк совпал просто по времени с перепрошивкой.
А проблемма в следующем. Если отправить на печать 1 задание, то печатает. А вот если отправить 2 задания (т. е. когда есть очередь печати), то первое задание вылезает нормально, а вот вместо второго вылезает следующее:
INTERNAL ERROR — Including Corruped Data
POSITION : 0x1cbdd (117725)
SYSTEM : h6fw_5.40/xl_image
LINE : 165
VERSION : SPL 5.40 03-10-2010

В строке POSITION правда каждый раз разное число.
Клиент печатает из удалённого рабочего стола, попробовать будет ли эта ошибка из локального рабочего стола — у клиента на это нет свободной секунды. Какаие там драйвера стояли не знаю, но чтоб исключить драйвера скачал из интернета, те что посвежее. Не в драйверах дело оказалось. Изначально в аппарате была прошивка с цифрой 7 на конце, а перепрошил 8-й версией. Может 9-й версией попробовать перепрошить, может глюк исчезнет? Или что ещё можно предпринять?

ИМХО аппарат исправен.

Какая сейчас текущая оригинальная версия FW?

До того как я перепрошил всё было идеально. а вот после перепрошивки.
Пробовал искать в яндексе эту проблемму. Искал следующую комбинацию (на остальные вообще ничего не нашлось): h6fw_5.4
Вот на эту комбинацию нашёлся один хороший топик. Речь шла об аппарате SCX-3200. И совпадало всё остальное: и INTERNAL ERROR, и SYSTEM, и LINE, и т. д. И я обрадовался, что есть такое не у меня одного. Но дальше было написанно, что если у вас такое, то несите в сервис. И всё. И я понял что рано порадовался.

Сейчас такая: V3.00.01.09F APR-27-2011
Я сначала сказал, что я прошил версией с 8-кой на конце, ну видать я обшибался.

Серрый (0): Изначально в аппарате была прошивка с цифрой 7 на конце, а перепрошил 8-й версией
А в аппарате 09F. Кто-то врёт. )

Серрый (4): V3.00.01.09F — я об оригинальной спрашивал. Верните оригинал и проверьте работу.

Возвращать оригинал сейчас долго. Быстрее будет проверить работу МФУ как локального. И наверняка всё будет работать.

1) Да я перепрошивал аппарат. И прошивку брал в интернете. А стояла изначально в аппарате 8-ая прошивка заводская. Вот с интернета 8-ую возьму. А где я возьму заводскую? Но тут наверное вы сейчас скажете, что 8-ая из интернета, это та же что 8-ая заводская. И типа не волнуйся они один в один. Ну дай то бог чтоб так и было.

(13) Извините ради бога и вы и все остальные. Но произошло следующее. У клиента пояилась свободная минутка, чтоб я сел за его комп и поставил эксперимент. И когда у меня возникли вопросы у клента нашлось ещё время мне на них ответить. А вопрос был таким, а где же эта неполадка, что-то я её не вижу?
Оказалось что неполадка далеко не всегда проявляется. Я тогда попросил рассказать поподробнее кака всё выглядит. Оказывается когда появляется очередь на печать, то часто всё работает без запинок. Но иногда на втором задании, или на третем, или на дцатом, аппарат зависает. При этом мигает зелёненький светодоид у аппарата в правом нижнем углу. Клиент ждёт сколько может. Аппарат так и не отвисает. Мигает светодиод зелёненьким. Потом клиенту надоедает ждать, он в очередь печати ставит ещё одно задание, в надежде «протолкнуть пробку». Это конечно идиотизм так мыслить, но тем не менее. Клиент кстати женщина, а значит логика там женская. Короче она кидает в очередь ещё одно задание. На удивление пробка чуть-чуть проталкивется. А именно вылезает вот тот текст, который я приводил в (1). Далее эта женщина кидает в очередь ещё одно задание, с криком да что ж это такое делается то.
И вот тут пробка совсем проталкивается и уже вылезает всё что ей надо. Конечно в пору бы потребовать от неё показать весь этот процесс, потому камк я что-то в этот бред слабо верю. Да только вот она говорит что эта ситуация редкая. И вот она при мне попыталась это устроить. В очереди было около 6-ти заданий. И все как назло вылезли как огурчики, без запинок.
Так что извините, что всех дезинформировал и время ваше отнял.
Но проблемма пока висит.

Так, ну ладно. Всем спасибо большое. Я многое понял. Главное что такая проблемма почти что у меня у одного. Т. е. это не то что это известная пробемма. А значит и понятно где надо копать. А именно искать что-то не то надо в своих действиях. А это уже пол дела. Спасибо. Побегу домой. Рабочий день кончился.

Принтер выдает ошибку: INTERNAL ERROR

Вопрос:

Здравствуйте!
Возникла проблема с лазерным принтером Xerox Phaser 3124. Около года он работал нормально, потом появилась проблема. Был куплен новый картридж, но проблема осталась. В чем собственно проблема:
При печати любого документа — выходит пустой лист, но на нем вверху напечатано следующее сообщение:
INTERNAL ERROR — FALSE
POSITION : 0x572F (22319)
SYSTEM : h6fwsim_snipe/xl_image
LINE : 132
VERSION : SPL 5.07 06-27-2006
И больше ничего.
После переустановки драйвера с родного диска и перезагрузки системы был пущен на печать многостраничный документ. В итоге первая страница была напечатана полностью, а следующая содержала то же самое сообщение об ошибке. Потом ситуация уже повторялась как и прежде.
Далее попробовал напечатать одно слово — оно было напечатано без сообщения об ошибке. Как надо.
Потом попробовал напечатать несколько строчек, только при 3 стал печатать. Если 4 — уже ошибка. Как я понял, это связано с параметром LINE : 132
Чем это может быть вызвано, уже скачал новые драйверы, но возможности проверить еще не было. Но, кажется, дело не в них. Если он работал на них целый год. ОС — win XP sp3
Проверить на другом компе нет возможности. USB кабель меняли, вставляли в другой порт, все то же самое. Что тут можно предположить и как исправить? Заранее спасибо.

Ответ:

Вообще, данная ошибка связана с драйверами. Как правило, помогает установка более новой версии драйверов. Попробуйте всё-таки для начала поставить скачанные драйверы.

Исправить ошибку pcl xl error при печати на принтере

Когда вы пытаетесь распечатать документ (pdf, word) на принтере kyocera или HP, то может выскочить сообщение об ошибке «pcl xl error» на листе бумаге. Ошибка PCL XL обычно происходит из-за повреждения драйвера принтера или из-за неправильной настройки печати при попытке распечатать документ. Для начало выполните простые действия:

1. Перезагрузите компьютер и принтер, после чего попробуйте что-то напечатать.
2. Выключите принтер и отсоедините его от компьютера. Немного подождите и снова подключите принтер.
3. Проверьте наличие обновлений Windows.

1. Устранение неполадок

Откройте «Параметры» > «Обновление и безопасность» > «Устранение неполадок» > «Принтер».

2. Удалить драйвер принтера

Нажмите Win+R и введите devmgmt.msc, чтобы открыть диспетчер устройств. Старые драйвера принтера могут мешать работе основному. Нажмите сверху на вкладку «Вид» > «Показать скрытые устройства«. 3. Изменить параметры печати

Одна из причин ошибки PCL XL в Windows 10 — неправильная настройка параметров принтера. Нажмите Win+R и введите control printers , чтобы открыть устройства и принтеры.

Нажмите правой кнопкой мыши и выберите «Настройка печати«. В новом окне нажмите снизу на «Дополнительно«.

Во вкладке «Advanced» найдите строку «TrueType Font» и выставьте в ней значение Download as Softfont. Найдите еще одну строку «Send True Type as Bitmap» и выставьте Enabled (Включено). Нажмите применить и OK, чтобы сохранить изменения.

Receiving an IllegalMediaSize error when trying to print Statement (5.5 x 8.5) paper from tray or manual feed. Printing starts well to the left of the paper. Specs indicate that this media size is within the printer’s capability. Using PCL 6 Universal Driver. Updated firmware on printer tonight without fixing the problem. Also tried changing manual feed paper size to Statement in device settings—to no avail. Would really appreciate a solution or even a work-around. Thanks

I did say that the two manuals appeared to contradict each other as regards the minimum size.

Returning to my original statement:

You say that are using the (PCL6) Universal Printer Driver which (being a universal driver) may think that your printer model supports Statement as a standard paper size, whilst the printer firmware perhaps does not support this size as a standard size (or, at least, not with the PCL6 Page Description Language ).

i.e. there is a discrepancy between the driver and the printer as regards the list of supported standard sizes.

If you can ‘capture’ (using the ‘ print to file ‘ option) a sample print job, analysis of the resultant .prn file should show just what the driver is generating in terms of printer ‘instructions’.

Use the PRN File Analyse tool in the PCL Paraphernalia application, available via https://www.pclparaphernalia.eu to perform the analysis.

Of course, all that this will do is to confirm what the printer is being instructed to do.

• Instead of selecting a standard paper of Statement (a.k.a. Memo or Half-Letter ), select use of a Custom paper size, and specify the appropriate dimensions.

• Try a PCL5 or PostScript drver instead of the PCL6 UPD you say that you are using.

The IllegalMediaSize error indicates two things:

• You are using a PCL6 ( PCL XL ) printer driver.
• The ‘instructions’ in the generated print job contain a reference to a paper size which is not supported by the PCL XL language interpreter in the printer’s firmware.

With PCL XL, standard paper sizes are referenced in one of two ways: using an enumerated value, or using a string value.

Different printer drivers and their associated printers may favour one or the other type of reference.

If the size is not recognised as one of the ‘ standard ‘ sizes supported by the device, the driver may instead specify use of a ‘ custom ‘ size.

The printer itself may not support the Statement paper size as one of its ‘standard’ sizes; the User Guide manual (reference c00495173 ) shows:

This shows that the minimum supported size is 148 mm x 210 mm ( 5.83″ x 8.27″ ) which (for the short edge ) is less than the smaller dimension of the Statement size, which implies that even if a ‘custom’ paper size is specified, the printer won’t support it.

Having said that, the Software Reference manual (reference c00606156 ) for the same printer series contradicts this by stating that the mimimum size is 98 mm x 191 mm ( 3.86″ x 7.50″ )!

I can print thank you envelopes as small as 5.19″ x 3.63″, so I’m not sure the info you quote is reliable. If you or anyone else has a working solution or work-around, I will be pleased to know of it.

Now you have given an answer (instead of simply providing information). I used a paper width of 8.5″ and length of 8.5″, reset the right and left margins to 2″, and printing was perfect. If I had time, I would have tried your other suggestion (PCL5 or PostScript).

I also appreciate your use of «circumvention» in place of «work-around». So, without further circumspection, I have accepted your answer and offer my kudos.

I had this same problem when trying to print C6 envelopes on a HP2700 Laserjet and on a HP2025 Laserjet.

I tried all the driver suggestions with no effect.

Eventually fixed it by the following —

When ready to print click «Print»

Select Printer and click «Properties»

Click «Paper/Quality» Tab and select «C6 Envelopes» (or your paper size)

Click «Effects» Tab, Click «Print document on» button and select «C6 Envelope» (or your paper size)

Select page range

This worked for me on both printers — no more «PCL XL errors»!

Bonjour,
Avec Windows7, tout fonctionne correctement.
Avec Linux Mint 17, tout fonctionne aussi, SAUF L’IMPRESSION DES DOCUMENTS PDF. A chaque fois, le message suivant s’imprime sur la feuille :

SPL ERROR — IllegalMediaSize

VERSION : SPL 5.57 01-12-2012

Avec WINDOWS, les documents PDF s’impriment correctement. Les mêmes documents PDF, avec Linux Mint, me donnent toujours le message d’erreur ci-dessus.

Avec OKULAR et SAMSUNG ML-2165 W, il me restait un problème : les marges n’étaient plus respectées :
sous Linux Mint 17, un document texte fabriqué avec OpenOffice puis sauvegardé en pdf ne s’imprimait pas de manière identique selon que j’imprimai le fichier ODT ou le fichier PDF.
par contre avec Windows 7, les documents ODT et PDF s’imprimaient à l’identique.
Donc, je suis revenu sous Linux Mint et j’ai installé l’imprimante avec CUPS :

Dans le menu déroulant, je n’ai pas choisi le pilote proposé : ML-2160, mais j’ai déroulé la liste et j’ai choisi le pilote ML-2165
puis j’ai modifié l’option : PAPER TYPE : on me proposait «use printer default» que j’ai remplacé par «plain paper»

et maintenant, les deux fichiers ODT ou PDF s’impriment à l’identique.

Voilà quelques infos si celà peut aider quelqu’un.

New PCL XL error illegal Media Size

There are some other posts here and on other web sites saying to change the driver. This doesn’t apply to this problem. We are using the 32 bit and 64 bit UPD PCL (v5.1) driver from HPs web site. This is happening on a CLJ 4700 and a CLJ 2550. I have deleted the printers and recreated them on the server to be sure nothing was left behind.

When my boss and two other employees print to the same printer using the same driver and setting from the server they get the PCL XL error illegal Media Size error on the following page.
On the non working PCs I have gone into server properties and removed all other drivers and installed the driver from the server and verified it is working but it still prints that second page with the error. When most people print using the driver from the server it doesn’t print the extra page with the error.

This happens when printing a self test with in Windows 7 Devices and Printers so it isn’t an application issue. We have tested PDFs, Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher files and they all print the second page with the error on the non working PCs. The UPD PS (v5.1) driver doesn’t generate the error so I added that as an option but they didn’t seem to like scrolling to a different printer.

The self test for the non working PCs prints the section «If you can read . » this line will print two extra words «Printing PC» dropping the L for PCL on my working PC it doesn’t print those words on the same line it prints them on the following line and it prints Printing PCL.

The problem appears to be the increased margin on the non working PCs but I don’t know how to fix it. Something in the profile or windows I guess.
