Teso ошибка входа 201
Error 201 occurs when there are general connectivity issues between a player and The Elder Scrolls Online service or when the player’s game client is out of date. There are a number of things that may cause this, so several different troubleshooting steps may need to be attempted before narrowing down the exact cause. Please ensure that you are launching the game from the launcher, not the main game executable, then try the steps below.
Please ensure that the game is properly updated:
→ Log out of the game completely and quit to the desktop.
→ Open the ESO launcher.
→ Click on Game Options (next to the gear icon in the middle of the launcher.)
→ Select Check for Updates.
→ Allow the update process to run to completion.
→ Attempt to log back in and continue playing.
→ You can also ensure that your ESO game files are in good repair on your computer by following the steps above and selecting Repair instead of Check for Updates.
If this error continues to occur, players should take these additional steps to ensure that the game is properly closed out from the previous session:
→ Log out of the game completely and quit to the desktop.
→ Restart the computer.
→ Attempt to log back in and continue playing.
→ As the issue is linked with connectivity, particularly after updates, we recommend that you ensure that both their launcher and the ESO game client are added as exceptions to your firewall. Players can also check our forums here, as this error can also be linked with server maintenance on our side. Simply restarting the router/modem can also help with general connectivity issues as well.
Error 201 may also occur when something is blocking a recognizable response from the game servers. This block would typically be caused by a firewall or anti-virus software.
Please check that you have added both eso.exe and Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe to your antivirus/firewall exception rules and that your firewall has not blocked access through the following ports:
— TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
— TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
— TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507

Since the NA server maintenance I have been trying to log and getting the above errors. Does anyone have a solution? Can I do anything at my end?
A lot of my friends are not experiencing these error.
the same problem occurs for me since I downloaded the update this morning.
I tried both solutions TristanK suggested but the problem (always 201 error a second after I click ‘Login’) persists.
Also in the client it says: Could not retrieve announcements. Not sure if that does matter in some way.

Please keep in mind that if you are using an internet connection at a business or university, they may have another firewall in place on the network. If this is the case, please come back and let us know.

I already had all exes in the ESO folder set as exceptions in Comodo Internet Security Premium. After changing the parameters from user-defined settings that worked before to «allowed application» the game seems to run now.
In case further problems occurs I’ll let everyone here know.
My girlfriend has the same error. 2 pc’s 2 accounts my account works fine on my pc, her account works on my pc. Both our accounts generate the 201 (7:1:1016:1006) error when trying to log in on her pc. Also i’ve noticed that when i start the client, my client status (shown in bottom left corner) will say «complete» on her pc the client stays on «initializing».
When i start the game on the log in screen i have an announcement displayed (the in-game mail one) when i start the game on her pc it will say «could not retrieve announcements».
I’ve tried swhitching router ports (were both on the same network) and rebooting, Even with only her pc connected, no results. So im kinda ruling out my connection.
I’ve tried several repairs without succes.
I ran the program as admin, virus scanner/firewall etc disabled. No succes.
Ohh and the game on my pc thats working has version 1.0.0.962092 is the same as on my girlfriends pc, so i dont think its an update problem.
Update: the client on her pc now also has the «complete» status in the bottom left corner, but still «could not retrieve announcements» and the same loging error in-game.
Also i have tried the «programdata» suggestion, without succes unfortunately.

Игроки получили это сообщение потому что: а) использовали неправильное имя пользователя для входа в систему; б) имя пользователя содержит недопустимый символ.
Перепроверьте имя пользователя и если в нем есть недопустимые символы, обратитесь в техподдержку за заменой вашего логина.
5) 202 – Login Queue Cancel Timeout.
Сервис очереди входа (login-сервис) не отвечает и может находиться в офф-лайн режиме.
6) 203 – Login Queue Cancel Failed.
Попытка войти через очередь сорвалась. Попробуйте еще раз.
7) 204 – Auth OTP Timeout.
205 – Auth OTP Failed.

Клиент попытался подключиться к лобби. Пожалуйста, подождите 10 минут и повторите попытку.
11) 305 – Unverified Protocol.
Для того, чтобы разрешить ошибку 305(Протокол несоответствия), вам нужно удалить некоторые файлы из директории игры.
1. Удалите файл eso.manifest, который по умолчанию расположенный по следующему адресу: C:Program Files (x86)Zenimax OnlineThe Elder Scrolls Online InternalLivegameclient ;

- How to Solve ESO Login Error? Here Are Some Fixes

When you try to play Elder Scrolls Online, you might encounter the ESO login error. Don’t be upset. In this post, MiniTool Partition Wizard introduces some possible fixes to solve the problem.
The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game published by Bethesda Softworks. It is available on various platforms, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. In June 2021, it will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S if everything goes well.
The game is quite popular among game lovers. However, some of them reported that they encounter ESO login error while trying to play the game on Windows PC. They received different error messages, such as:
- An unexpected internal error has occurred. Please contact customer service at help.elderscrollsonline.com
- ESO error 108 login failed
- ESO error 200 login failed
- ESO error 201 login failed
The issue could be caused by various factors. In the following contents, you can get some solutions. Please try them one by one until the error disappears.
Tip: Before you try the following fixes, you can shut down your computer, unplug the Ethernet cable, wait for a few minutes, and then turn on your computer after connecting the Ethernet cable. Sometimes it can help solve simple errors.
Fix 1: Change the Steam Server
If you encounter ESO login error on PC while launching the game from Steam, it might happen due to server issues. By default, Steam uses the server that is nearest to your location. If the server doesn’t work properly, you can try changing to another server to solve the problem. Here are the detailed steps.
Step 1: In Steam, click Steam > Settings.
Step 2: In the left pane, select Downloads. In the right pane, find the Download Region section and replace your current server with another one.
Tip: To avoid excessive lag, you’d better select a server from your neighbor country.
Step 3: Click OK to save the changes you have made.
Then you can check if you are able to play the game without the ESO login error. If the problem still exists, you should move on to the next solution.
Fix 2: Try Another Launcher
If you receive the ESO login error again, you might need to try running the game by launching its executable file.
You just need to press Win + E to open File Explorer and find the executable file which is located in the installation folder of ESO. By default, it’s in Steam > steamapps > common > Zenimax Online > The Elder Scrolls Online > game > client. Then right-click the eso64.exe and select Run as administrator.
If it doesn’t solve the problem, you can also try running the game from Bethesda.net Launcher, the default launcher of The Elder Scrolls Online.
Fix 3: Flush DNS
The ESO login error on PC could also happen due to network issues. To solve the problem, you can try flushing DNS, and here is the step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Press Win + R to open the Run window. Then type cmd in the box and press Shift + Ctrl + Enter to run Command Prompt as administrator.
Step 2: Input the following commands and press Enter after each.
- ipconfig /flushdns
- ipconfig /registerdns
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- netsh winsock reset
Then reboot your computer and check if the ESO login error has been fixes.

I downloaded the game fine and created an account and everything, the only problem is actually logging into the game. I’ve tried doing it a thousand times and I know all my login information is correct (User ID and Password) but it says my information is wrong, when I know it isn’t. I don’t know what to do and while getting a refund is definitely on my mind, I do want to play the game. Any ideas?

There is an article with this first line covering this topic on the ESOTU support pages. Suggest you google the topic and search for it and it’ll cover a number of options you can try. In short it suggests virusscan issues or ports being blocked but the article itself goes into more, hopefully helpful, detail.
Since the NA server maintenance I have been trying to log and getting the above errors. Does anyone have a solution? Can I do anything at my end?
A lot of my friends are not experiencing these error.

- Close both the game and the launcher
- Open the game installation directory
- Open the folder named «Launcher»
- Inside the «Launcher» folder, there is a folder named «ProgramData»
- Rename the «ProgramData» folder to «ProgramDataBackup»
- Open the launcher and download update
- Click «Play»

Hi, no this did not work and I got a 210 error when trying to launch. Any fixes yet?
- Highlight the title of the game client that needs to be repaired by clicking on it
- Click on «Game Options» (near the center of the launcher)
- From the «Game Options» drop-down, select «Repair»
- Allow the launcher to examine all the files for the game
- If any files are found to have problems, the launcher will re-download those files

the same problem occurs for me since I downloaded the update this morning.
I tried both solutions TristanK suggested but the problem (always 201 error a second after I click ‘Login’) persists.
Also in the client it says: Could not retrieve announcements. Not sure if that does matter in some way.
Please keep in mind that if you are using an internet connection at a business or university, they may have another firewall in place on the network. If this is the case, please come back and let us know.

I already had all exes in the ESO folder set as exceptions in Comodo Internet Security Premium. After changing the parameters from user-defined settings that worked before to «allowed application» the game seems to run now.
In case further problems occurs I’ll let everyone here know.
I am also experiencing error 200. I’ve tried all of these solutions, but still not working for me. I haven’t been able to access the game since downloading the client a few days ago though. Any ideas? Also, I’m on Mac.

My girlfriend has the same error. 2 pc’s 2 accounts my account works fine on my pc, her account works on my pc. Both our accounts generate the 201 (7:1:1016:1006) error when trying to log in on her pc. Also i’ve noticed that when i start the client, my client status (shown in bottom left corner) will say «complete» on her pc the client stays on «initializing».
When i start the game on the log in screen i have an announcement displayed (the in-game mail one) when i start the game on her pc it will say «could not retrieve announcements».
I’ve tried swhitching router ports (were both on the same network) and rebooting, Even with only her pc connected, no results. So im kinda ruling out my connection.
I’ve tried several repairs without succes.
I ran the program as admin, virus scanner/firewall etc disabled. No succes.
Ohh and the game on my pc thats working has version 1.0.0.962092 is the same as on my girlfriends pc, so i dont think its an update problem.
Update: the client on her pc now also has the «complete» status in the bottom left corner, but still «could not retrieve announcements» and the same loging error in-game.
Also i have tried the «programdata» suggestion, without succes unfortunately.

Yes, instant error 201 on every attempt. Logging in on PC NA worked without a problem.
yah EU seems down , maybe its a steam issue tho? can’t log in to EU servers!

So much so that mods usually refer people to post there when this *** happens. I’m hoping that the new hardware we’re supposed to get this year will stop this nonsense.

So I just bought the Imperial Edition a day or two ago and Error 201 keeps happening when I try to enter. I’ve tried all the exceptions I could find on my firewall for ESO. And repaired it from the launcher. Also sent in a ticket, which was answered, and I followed it. Still doesn’t let me in. What is going on here?
Error 201 occurs when there are general connectivity issues between a player and The Elder Scrolls Online service or when the player’s game client is out of date. There are a number of things that may cause this, so several different troubleshooting steps may need to be attempted before narrowing down the exact cause. Please ensure that you are launching the game from the launcher, not the main game executable, then try the steps below.
Please ensure that the game is properly updated:
→ Log out of the game completely and quit to the desktop.
→ Open the ESO launcher.
→ Click on Game Options (next to the gear icon in the middle of the launcher.)
→ Select Check for Updates.
→ Allow the update process to run to completion.
→ Attempt to log back in and continue playing.
→ You can also ensure that your ESO game files are in good repair on your computer by following the steps above and selecting Repair instead of Check for Updates.
If this error continues to occur, players should take these additional steps to ensure that the game is properly closed out from the previous session:
→ Log out of the game completely and quit to the desktop.
→ Restart the computer.
→ Attempt to log back in and continue playing.
→ As the issue is linked with connectivity, particularly after updates, we recommend that you ensure that both their launcher and the ESO game client are added as exceptions to your firewall. Players can also check our forums here, as this error can also be linked with server maintenance on our side. Simply restarting the router/modem can also help with general connectivity issues as well.
Error 201 may also occur when something is blocking a recognizable response from the game servers. This block would typically be caused by a firewall or anti-virus software.

Для того, чтобы разобраться, по какой именно причине вы не можете войти в игру, нужно было обращаться к техподдержке и выяснять детали там. Предлагаем вам список наиболее распространенных ошибок, а также их описание и, в некоторых случаях, возможное решение проблемы. Эту публикацию подготовил наш новичок, Niazan, с которым вы уже знакомы по замечательному FAQ по бета-тестированию.
1) 103 – Failed to obtain server connection information.
На данный момент нет доступа к серверу. Пожалуйста, попробуйте еще раз во время активного бета-тестирования, к которому у вас есть доступ. Эта ошибка также актуальна, если ваш «userID» содержит специальные символы, в таком случае свяжитесь с службой поддержки, чтобы изменить его.
2) 104 – Server Full.
Количество игроков больше или равно максимальному. Сервер игры работает на пределе возможностей и пока не может принять новых пользователей.
3) 200 – Authentication Timeout.
Служба аутентификации не отвечает и может находиться в автономном режиме.
4) 201 – Authentication Failed.
Игроки получили это сообщение потому что: а) использовали неправильное имя пользователя для входа в систему; б) имя пользователя содержит недопустимый символ.
Перепроверьте имя пользователя и если в нем есть недопустимые символы, обратитесь в техподдержку за заменой вашего логина.
5) 202 – Login Queue Cancel Timeout.
Сервис очереди входа (login-сервис) не отвечает и может находиться в офф-лайн режиме.
6) 203 – Login Queue Cancel Failed.
Попытка войти через очередь сорвалась. Попробуйте еще раз.
7) 204 – Auth OTP Timeout.
Вышло время ожидания одноразового пароля при входе в систему.
205 – Auth OTP Failed.
Пользователь ввел неверный одноразовый пароль и ему предлагается повторить попытку.
9) 206 – Auth OTP Locked.
Пользователь множество раз ввел неверный пароль, необходимо подождать, чтобы осуществить попытку снова.
10) 301 – Lobby Connection Failed.
Клиент попытался подключиться к лобби. Пожалуйста, подождите 10 минут и повторите попытку.
11) 305 – Unverified Protocol.
Для того, чтобы разрешить ошибку 305(Протокол несоответствия), вам нужно удалить некоторые файлы из директории игры.
1. Удалите файл eso.manifest, который по умолчанию расположенный по следующему адресу: C:Program Files (x86)Zenimax OnlineThe Elder Scrolls Online InternalLivegameclient ;
2. Удалите файл data.manifest, который по умолчанию расположенный по следующему адресу: C:Program Files (x86)Zenimax OnlineThe Elder Scrolls Online InternalLivedepot_databuild ;
3. Найдите и удалите следующие файлы из меню Пуск:
zos.control.manifest
zos.core.manifest
zos.eso.manifest
4. Перезапустите клиент игры.
Если после выполнения вышеперечисленных процедур, вы все равно получаете сообщение об ошибке — переустановите игру.
12) 306 – Realm Shutdown.
Сервер находится в режиме онлайн, но отключается при попытке несанкционированного доступа. Пользователи с необходимым разрешением в состоянии войти.
13) 311 – Bandwidth Cap
Вы были отключены от сервера, поскольку ваш клиент превысил лимит пропускной способности на сервере.
14) 500 – Internal Server Error.
«500 — Внутренняя ошибка сервера» обычно возникает, когда веб-сайт или сервер интернет-провайдера имеют неспецифичную проблему.
Пожалуйста, попробуйте следующие методы, чтобы исправить ошибку 500.
— Обновите страницу либо нажав кнопку обновленияперезагрузки, нажав F5, или попробуйте ввести адрес страницы заново.
