Faced one new issue while shifting websites from one IDC to AMAZON cloud, I have configured websites as generally we configure and set the application pool also

When I was trying to open any feature from feature panel of that website it was giving error

The error message was blank so it was very difficult task to identify the error as nothing was getting on net also.

Checked permissions and found permissions were as required so tried to browse the website but here also it was showing below error from which we couldn’t get the exact cause of error

There was no option for getting the exact error code / message which will help to troubleshoot , followed below steps to identify the cause

• Opened Web.config and started removing tags one by one like removed ,
• Still same error
• Removed custom error tag
• Still same error
• Removed
• Error gone away and website started browsing

After checking for the tag details came to know it is for Optimizing Application Initialization Module for IIS and for make website running along with the tag inside web.config we need to install

Error while performing DE analysis using EdgeR #4

I’m trying to perform DE analysis with supplied guide as reference (for RNA-Seq workflow), and I’m getting an error in function run_edgeR :

Which actually is an error thrown by EdgeR itself, not systemPiper. The design matrix from the function looks something like this:

which I believe is the reason behind that error (if I remember correctly, conditions cannot be equal to total number of samples). As for comparison, I’m trying to do a pairwise comparison for each sample pair (i.e. # CMPset1: ALL ).

Is there any workaround for this ?

Hard to make suggestions without seeing your code that led to the error. One suggestions though: if you don’t have replicates then it is easier to use run_deseq2 instead.

Sorry for the lack of code! Here is what I did :

• Counted features using featureCounts (using the standalone package)
• Imported counts as tab delimited file
• Performed the steps as described in RNA-Seq workflow template

Based on your design matrix and targets file, there are no replicates. Without replicates there is no sensible way to perform DEG analysis with most statistical methods. If needed you can use run_DESeq2 without replicates but the p/fdr values obtained remain questionable. The run_edgeR function will not work out the box without replicates.

Also, the expression values you are showing under countDF are not integers. For edgeR and DESeq2 you need to provide the raw count values (integer values).

I identified the mistake(which was completely on my side)! The error was due to swapping experiment and factor columns (there are replicates, it’s just I confused experiment column as the defining variable).

I can not create a passive copy on the server.
When adding a copy to the server we need and pressing the save button, I am notified with an error.

An error occurred while performing the seed operation. Error: Failed to open a log truncation context to source server ‘V12RUCTDMSC2002.CTDRUS.loc’. Hresult: 0xc7ff1004. Error: Error returned from an ESE function call (-1305). [ Database : DB25, Server : V12RUCTDMSC2005.CTDRUS.loc]

If you click the update button and select the server, the copy will start to be created.
The base weighs about 400 GB, when there is a replication of about two or three hours, the interfaces fall asleep, the interfaces of the replication network, checked already 3 times.

The way out of this situation is to completely disconnect the interface and reverse the inclusion

1) If the replication interfaces fall, should not they be immediately supported by the MAPI network if the copy is being updated. (I mean that when the copy is updated, the connection is broken and an error occurs)

2) If the replication network is down why does not it update the copy over the MAPI network?

3) For what reason can the interfaces of the replication network fall?

4) Where do I start to get a copy on the next server?

There is an error while performing selected function

Question

I have some distribution group list in Office 365, with let’s say 200 recipients

Each time I want to expand the group (In Outlook, in a new email) I receive this error message «Cannot perform the required operation. The command selected is not valid for this recipient. there was an error while expanding the list. The list was not fully expanded».

This happens on Outlook 2013, 2016 as well

1. Reset autocomplete cache

2. Delete offline address book

3. Recreated ost file

4. Recreated Outlook profile from zero

Can you please further advise?

Does this issue happen to other users in your organization when trying to expand the same distribution groups?

Are these DLs non-universal groups or universal groups?

Have you tried selecting the alias from the address book by using the mouse?

Does this issue continue if we try to turn off cached Exchange mode or testing in OWA?

I will answer per question

1.Does this issue happen to other users in your organization when trying to expand the same distribution groups?
Yes, at least 4 users that I know of. I have configured an email account on a non domain computer, at home, it happens the same.

2. Are these DLs non-universal groups or universal groups?
They are Universal Distribution Lists created in O365, not synced form on prem.
3.Have you tried selecting the alias from the address book by using the mouse?
I am not sure I understand. I normally open Outlook, create new email, press TO, the address book appears, I search the recipient, I double click on it. If I type the mail address by hand, there is no difference when I try to expand it.
4. Does this issue continue if we try to turn off cached Exchange mode or testing in OWA?

Like this? No, no difference

I think saw something different this morning. If I try to expand a DL that is sincked from on prem it works.

But if the group is created in cloud it does not expand it, no matter if it has 10 recipients or 200.

DiskPart: There Is No Partition Selected Error | Why & How-to Fix?

Sometimes, you may encounter the error “There is no partition selected” on USB drive in DiskPart. Here comes an elaborate analysis of this error, including how to solve the error in Windows 7/8/10/11.

“I need some help, please! I’m trying to format my USB flash drive to get full capacity with DiskPart in Windows 7. Executed list disk > select disk 2 > list partition > delete partition, only to get the prompt ‘There are no partitions selected. Please select a partition, and try again.’ Then I typed select partition 1, another error message prompts ‘There is no partition selected’. What is the problem? Why cannot Windows select my drive?”

That is a help post on Windows 7 DiskPart There is no partition selected trouble in USB drive formatting. Actually, there are other similar prompting messages of DiskPart that bothering many users. For example, you may get DiskPart There is no disk selected error after typing select disk #, or there is no disk selected to list partition after the list partition command. “There are no partitions on this disk to show” error usually means the disk has been cleaned and no partitions existed. You need to create one first.

Why the partition cannot be selected when Windows actually see the drive? Keep reading.

Possible causes for Windows there is no partition selected issue

According to Microsoft, before you can use DiskPart commands on a disk, partition, or volume, you must first list and then select the object to give it focus. When an object has focus, any DiskPart commands that you type act on that object. Please note that the list partition command displays only partitions on the disk that have focus. When you use the list commands, an asterisk (*) appears next to the object with focus. You may want to see more information in DiskPart Command-Line Options.

Some users get the There is no volume selected error just because the partition or volume has been selected by DiskPart ALREADY. Therefore, check if there is an asterisk (*) in front of the object you’d like to select, just like what the user faces in the example. That means the partition has been focused on now.

In terms of USB flash drive, Windows has a standard that may have an impact on the operation of the drive. That would be, Windows only recognize the first primary partition on removable devices including USB flash drive, SD card, memory card, etc. As a result, to format USB drive for example, you have two ways to figure it out, format all partitions on the drive with a different operating system instead of Windows OS, and execute “clean” or “clean all” command in DiskPart.

How to fix there is no partition selected error in Windows easily?

If you still get the “no partition selected” message, Windows cleanmgr.exe may do you a favor in cleaning partitions or volumes.

Clean partition with Windows cleanmgr.exe

Try this command to clean the drive in another way.

1. Click Start and then click Run, or press Win + R key combination to start the Run.

2. In the Run box, input this command and press Enter.

c:windowsSYSTEM32cleanmgr.exe /f: (where f is the drive letter of the hard drive partition that you’d like to clean)

3. Choose the right drive letter from the drop-down list to clean up.

4. Open Disk Management and find the partition you’ve cleaned just now. Right-click it and select “New Simple Volume” to create a new partition if necessary.

Tips: above method applies to hard drive partition only.

1. Right click an unallocated space or existing redundant partition and select Create Partition.

2. Specify drive letter and partition size. Partition label and file system would be available in Advanced if you create a new partition from existing one.

1. Right-click the target partition, select Advanced and then Change Partition Type ID or Change Serial Number.

2. Select another Type ID from the list or input a new serial number and then click OK.
