Tomb raider anniversary error out of table range

Проблема с запуском - posted in Tomb Raider Anniversary: Трабла в следующем. Игра TRA от НД устанавливается нормально но при запуске выдаёт скромное сообщение ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE если клацнуть по этом сообщению то выпадает сообщение Failed to open BIGFILE.000 я не первый год гамаю но такой траблы не встречал ,если у кого что то подобное было чирканите что это и с чем едят. P.S.игру пробовал на разных компах но ОС только ХР .

Ладно хоть савсем не послали.За совет спасибо я ужеи сам разобрался когда две папки увидел .Но всё равно спасибо.

А почему ты решил, что перенаправление в нужную тему — тоже самое, что «послать», но в более мягкой форме?))) :acute:
У меня была проблема с запуском, версия не лицензия, он говорил что-то вроде срок лицензии истек. ((( А из-за этого моя подруга бросила Tomb Raider Anniversry.

Я не страдаю безумием.
Я им наслаждаюсь Х))

TRA: «error out of table range»


I have played Tomb Raider Anniversary before and never had a problem, but now when i try to start it gives me the error «ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE» and i have the option for more information on this error near the bottom of the screen. When i expand this, it gives me the message «Failed to open BIGFILE.000» I seen on other threads to run the diagnostic program so i did, and here are the results;

So I installed the new 2013 Tomb Raider via steam and whenever I try launching the game it gives me this error message and doesn’t start up. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? My specs are all good and I can’t seem to find the solution to this problem. I’ve tried updating my video driver, reinstalling it, and reinitializing the Steam client. I put in a support ticket to Steam 17 hours ago and still no help. As an act of last hope i’m reaching out to my fellow gamers to see if you guys have a solution to this problem.

the general consensus from what I saw was that the fault probably lies with (your) hardware. Either your monitor or graphics card cannot handle some of TRA’s settings.

Run TRA’s Setup program and disable ALL the graphical options (Fullscreen Effects, VSync, Shadows, Depth of Field, Reflections, Water Effects). Also disable any Anti-Aliasing and reduce the Resolution and Refresh Rate. Then try running the game again.
If it works, then you’re left with a little trial & error to see what it is that your hardware is failing on (by turning on the graphical options one by one and increasing the resolution/refresh rate).

Also — it helps to post configuration information (cpu, gpu, amount of memory, operating system, desktop or laptop system, etc. ) It’s hard to give specific suggestions when you don’t have any idea what kind of hardware you’re running the game on.

Make sure that you’ve installed all Windows updates and if you can, update any hardware drivers as both AMD and Nvidia have released updates to address issues with their cards.

Yes, but how do you set the program so it does not need to be specifically run as admin every time?

That is an issue with how your windows is set up. first disable UAC. windows search it, then disable it.

Error out table range tomb raider

Hi! I installed Tomb Raider Underworld on my PC from a DVD, but when I try to run it, I get a «Error out of table range», «Failed to open BIGFILE.003» error message.
I get the same message if I try to run Setup.
I’ll post here the diagnostic.

Select All (Ctrl A) then Copy (Ctrl C) and paste (Ctrl V) the text in Notepad into a reply on the forum.

1. Intel’s graphic may give you problems

2. Disable DEP, then run Setup.exe manually by right clicking it and choosing Run as Administrator. Ensure Avast is not blocking your installation/game.

3. Try to change in game resolution. Set it the same as the native one, then start lowering if works not.

4. Run TRCheck and post the report.

Mmm, I think I’m missing something here. I don’t have any Setup.exe, except for the installer on the DVD (and if I try to run it, it tells me TRU is already installed on my computer. I tried installing it again after disabling DEP just in case, but nothing changes).

Where did you get that DVD from may I ask?

Not necessarily. The game has been repackaged many times now and it could well be the authentication check hasn’t been updated. Let’s get back to your original problem.

I did some research on your behalf and found that DirectX could be causing an error here. Have you tried reinstalling the files from www.microsoft.com ? I’m going to continue to look for a solution and I’ll get back to this thread asap.

I’m the author of TRCheck and I’m positive the software will not report anything unless it’s absolutely sure. It checks for file hashes which I manually entered, only matches will be reported.
To make sure, I have just downloaded the TRU German 1.1 (Unkown Author) crack and can verify that the software accurately detects the crack.

Hi, I know this is an old post but I will show what worked for me, I had changed the language of my game from Spanish to English (right click on the game — language tab), I thought the game would have the option to switch languages after that, but not, to switch back to spanish I had to download again the language pack again, when I did that, the game showed this error, so my solution was to verify files integrity (righ click on game local files tab) it detected 2 missing files and started downloading them again, that fixed my problem, I hope this helps someone.

I am running:
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Processor: Intel Core i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz
RAM: 24.0GB

Every time I try running the game I get an error that says:

«ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE — Disk error»

I have tried finding solutions online for the problem myself but nothing has worked. I have tried compatibility mode with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 settings but none of them worked. I’ve also tried all these options while running as «Administrator.»

I have tried going into: System/Advanced System Settings/Advanced Tab/Performance Settings/Data Execution Prevention and changing the setting to «Turn on DEP for all programs except those I select» and then adding both the «tru.exe» and «testapp.exe» program files to the list. This solution seems to work for a lot of people online but didn’t do anything for me.

I have also, of course, tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and verifying the game cache. I have even tried installing the game on different hard drives. These too were all fruitless endeavors.

Please tell me what else I can try so that I may play this game!

Its also possible to change the resolution in the windows registry via regedit:

Here are some common values for the «FullscreenModeID»-value (hex):
3c438780: 1920×1080 (60Hz)
3c2d0500: 1280×720 (60Hz)
3c384640: 1600×900 (60Hz)

(. you can also delete «FullscreenModeID», when you next start the game the setup-dialog will automatically appear and you should be able to select the resolution before the game itself starts)

The value is basically Frequency + Height + Width in hex
For example the value fo 1920×1080@60Hz is build like this:
60 Hz (60 = 3c in hex)
1080 (1080 = 438 in hex)
1920 (1920 = 780 in hex)
=> 3c438780

In the steam version when starting the game normally you are first asked wether to play the game or run the setup — The resolution is changeable in the setup-utility and not only in-game

Crystal Dynamics isn’t an available folder for me for some reason.

If you have the game installed in other than your C: drive, try to re-install it into the C: drive.
This fixed it for me.

If even the setup wont run, i would guess that the game probably has an issue with the graphicscard driver. One could try running the DirectX Web Installer: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=35&751be11f-ede8-5a0c-058c-2ee190a24fa6=True or try a different version of the graphiccard-driver.
tra is probably unable to read the list of supported resolutions.

. or some antivirus/firewall tool might be running that blocks something tra needs.

I am running:
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Processor: Intel Core i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz
RAM: 24.0GB

Every time I try running the game I get an error that says:

«ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE — Disk error»

I have tried finding solutions online for the problem myself but nothing has worked. I have tried compatibility mode with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 settings but none of them worked. I’ve also tried all these options while running as «Administrator.»

Do you have the game installed on an external drive ?

Did you upgrade to 10 from another os or is it a fresh install?

Have you reinstalled steam using windows 10?,and never rely on wifi to game or download use wired ethernet cable cat5e or cat6.

Hello everyone, I recently bought Tomb Raider from steam and I downloaded it and tried to play it, but a error out of table range message. My question is what does this mean and more importantly how do I fix it.(Keep in mind that this is the new tomb raider.)

Make sure that you’ve installed all Windows updates and if you can, update any hardware drivers as both AMD and Nvidia have released updates to address issues with their cards…

1. Completely exit Steam
2. Right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam
3. Select «Run as Administrator»
4. Steam will launch again
5. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
6. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache… button.
7. Steam will verify the game’s files — this process may take several minutes.
8. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Tried to restart steam as administrator and it didn’t work. The error message says when I try to launch it, it says error out of table range. I verified the game files and it was perfectly fine. Should I un install is then re install it?
