ERROR 404 is a character from Alphatale, a core entity in Alphatale and the supposed Ancestor of Error!Sans. He is the self-claimed God of the Multiverse.

Equipping Error 404 gives you Error404: Page Not found.

Backstory

William (Error404) used to work together with his brother, Adam (Alpha! Sans) in their AU AlphaTale. In their AU, They both wore jackets with numbers so that the others could tell who Alpha! Sans was and who Error404 was. Alpha! Sans wore a jacket with a number 2 and Error404 wore a jacket with a number 1. Every day they helped those who needed help within their world.

But one day, one of his brothers, originally named Jacob, began slaughtering everyone in Alphatale. He would later become more well known as Infected! Sans. He killed seeking more LV (Level of Violence). Infected! Sans waged a terrible battle where Error404 and Alpha! Sans had to stop him. They fought and fought until eventually, they came to an impasse. They got their breath back and before they could react, Infected! Sans killed Alpha! Sans. Error404 cried and mourned over his brother’s death while looking at his dust. Infected! Sans smiled with pride and glee. Error404, boiling with rage and sadness, tore open a rift in reality with his bare hands but was immediately killed by Infected! Sans before he could do anything. Error404 lied on the ground looking at his brother’s dust and then made a mistake that would haunt him until the end of his days. He decided to teleport him and Infected! Sans into the Anti-Void, a place that was uninhabitable at the time.

Fatal Bone

Current

Fatal Bone is a weapon used by Fatal! Error in his comic. Fatal Bone can be found behind the weapon shop where a white portal is located behind it. It can either deal crit damage, put errors on a Sans’s screen, or mix up walking controls. Cooldown is random and changes every time you attack.

The damage and crit damage are also random but will not change. crit damage is usually a higher value than normal damage and deals 2 dodges.

If combined with Determination Soul and Error 404 Jacket, it will give you random health along with random speed, random jump height, random damage at random times, and 25-100 hp randomly every couple seconds. Also, when equipped it adds fatal glitches all over the body instead of just the weapon. (Wins are listed on picture).

In UT:JD, there are 19 different armors in the game. One is hidden and the other 18 are right next to the spawn.

You start with 100 HP, with the bandage equipped.

The bandage is the first item you’ll use in UT:JD. It requires 0 wins to use, and grants no HP buff and no damage resistance buff.

(Till someone tests the damage resistance buff in a private server the information will be . (each type of attack has a pierce value so it’s gonna be hard to test, for example Fresh!Sans’s bat has 100% pierce, so let’s say a attack has 50% pierce and the target has 60% damage resistance then the target will take 90% of the damage). When combined with DT soul and stick it turns the stick RED, giving a speed boost and jump boost as well as a large damage boost.

Old Tutu [ ]

The old tutu requires 15 wins to use, also gives a 30 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Stained Apron [ ]

The stained apron needs 20 wins to use, granting a 40 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Cowboy Hat [ ]

The cowboy hat needs 25 wins to use, gives a 60 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Heart Locket [ ]

The heart locket, not to be confused with the locket, needs 30 wins to use, granting a 80 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

The Locket [ ]

The locket, not to be confused with heart locket, needs 50 wins to use, gives a 100 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Killer Soul [ ]

Killer!Sans’ soul, which costs 75 wins, grants a 120 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Temmie Armor [ ]

The Temmie armor needs 100 wins, gives a 140 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Asriel Robe [ ]

Asriel robe requires 125 wins to use, grants a 150 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

Akumu [ ]

Akumu is a pink blob that you’ll need 150 wins to use. It’ll give you a 180 HP buff and . damage resistance buff.

SS. Chara’s Coat [ ]

Storyshift Chara’s coat gives you a 200 HP buff and . resistance buff, at the price of 200 wins.

Chara’s Locket [ ]

Chara’s locket, not to be confused with the locket or heart locket, requires 300 wins to use, gives a 225 HP buff and . resistance buff.

Bravery Aura [ ]

The Bravery aura will give you a 280 HP bonus and a . resistance buff for the price of 400 wins.

Reaper’s Cloak [ ]

Reaper’s cloak will give you a 300 HP bonus and ?? damage resistance buff for the price of 450 wins.

Devil’s Tail [ ]

The Devil’s tail gives a 350 HP bonus and a . resistance buff, costing 500 wins.

Determination Shield [ ]

The determination shield is the 2nd to last armor in the game. For 750 wins, you can get a whopping 400 HP bonus and a . damage resistance buff, for a total of 500 HP.

Appearance

The Soul of Determination is red in color and shaped like a heart. In Undertale Judgement Day, it’s seen to be glowing most of the time. However, in the original undertale, this was not the case.

Backstory

The Determination Soul was one of the 8 children who fell in the Underground, Frisk (the person who owned the Soul) was first discovered by Flowey, who immediately tried to take advantage of their obliviousness, pretending to give a tutorial, and immediately tricking Frisk and trying to kill them. Frisk was eventually saved by Toriel. Now, whatever happens next is depending on whatever route you go on. However, Frisk would eventually become the first human to beat Asgore, and destroy the barrier (or world, if you’re playing on genocide). If you were playing on the genocide route, the story would end there, since you went on to kill Flowey before he could absorb the six other souls that fell into the underground. However, on a neutral route, Flowey absorbs the six human souls and becomes Omega Flowey. Eventually, the Souls rebel, leaving Flowey without his powers. Frisk either chooses to kill or spare Flowey.

Abilities

The Determination Soul is a soul that requires 1000 wins. It grants a second life, an extremely useful ability that doubles your effective HP and gives you invincibility frames. While that ability alone is not as powerful as some later souls, it also contains the largest amount of Soul Combos in the game.

Gives you the ability to call for help via the ACT item, and depending on which soul you get, you get various buffs. Once you reach all 7 souls, you can fire a powerful beam that does a lot of damage.

All in the name of science! This is an NPC (Non Player Character). It cannot be played as. This is an NPC of Hardmode Insanity. In order to get to him, speak to Dust! Sans-Low LV (NPC). It should teleport you to a door. Hardmode Insanity (NPC) Type of NPC Dodges/Health Passive Run up to the door to fight him. If you beat him you get Insanity (Badge). You have determination which heals 100 hp and can be used a couple of times. The stick you have does 100 damage. They both had arrived and Error404 immediately starting hacking the Anti-Void. This occurrence drove him insane in just a fraction of a second. Then once he stopped, he attempted to tear his face apart causing him to appear like he was crying this black ooze. He then grabbed some of the Anti-Void code and used it as wires to delete Infected. This was possible only because he hacked the Anti-Void. It gave him everlasting life and incredible durability. This gave Error404 just the right amount of power he needed to kill Infected.

He had won the battle, but at what cost? He had become a very evil monster and had gone insane. Error404 hid away in a special part of the Anti-Void that only he can access called the Main Frame/The outer wall. It is a place where he can see all activity in and out of the Anti-Void. He has been there ever since, never to be in contact with other AUs, slowly driving himself more and more insane with grief in his isolation.

Personality

Error404 is depressed and insane. As a puppet master and a true god he has a huge god complex. He is almost in constant grief though most would not be able to tell do to his outward charm and intelligent nature. He would much rather fight through controlling others rather than confront someone directly. He is cold and calculated and somewhat removed from what he does and doesn’t feel much guilt anymore.

Powers

Blue Mastery

Able to manipulate any objects with blue as if it had a soul, an extension of every Sans’s power of The Application of Manipulation of Gravity, even to the point of manipulating meta-physical concepts like the mind.

Mind Wrap

This Power is another Sub-set of Blue Mastery affecting SOUL and mind, unlike regular Blue Mastery this is permanent until Error404 decides to stop or until his new puppet dies. This power will control you without you even realizing it. Example: Sans could be calmly talking to Papyrus, but in reality, he’s choking him to death.

Dark Blasters

Powerful Blasters designed by The Astral Mother herself, able to completely destroy almost anything that it is fired at. Damage Rating is 100.

God Ray

Fires a blast from his fingers that will detach any body part (this sucks if you’re a Sans with more than arms and legs).

Error404 666 Form

This form is activated when Error404 is combined Error!Sans, and he will only do so when he’s in need of major assistance.

Reincarnation

This Ability is used when Error404 is either killed or takes to much damage. When he has taken to much damage or is killed he will began to scatter his code in he ground and will then delete himself from the world. after that the particles Error404 left behind will gather code from the world and then return to Error404’s lair and reanimate 404 from the resources they took.

Code Manipulation

This ability lets 404 manipulate code. He is able to create, edit and destroy anytime and anywhere.

Mission

Error404’s mission is to tear apart worlds and use the stray code to rebuild AlphaTale from the ground up. He believes that the ends justify the means and that this is for the greater good. He fails to see anything wrong with sacrificing millions of worlds to accomplish this.

Error404 has people he controls or they do his biding because of his power.

These will be labeled from Controlled to Main

Controlled = Under Error404’s 24hour Watch and never set free unless he says so.

Right Side = They have Free will, but they must do as he says and come to his side when he says so.

Main = These few Henchmen have their free will but still do what Error404 says just like with the right side Henchmen, but unlike them, the Main Henchmen are Error404’s closest allies, so they can also help him make tough decisions and the main henchmen often can command the Right Side and The Controlled Henchmen to do their bidding.

Error404 doesn’t have a soul, having lost it long ago, though he still feels some positive emotion.

Error404 has met Parum Tractus, and made a deal with him allowing Parum to stay at the AntiVoid in the condition that he will give Error404 any information he wants about the AUs.

Error404 likes to watch and collect Ink!Sans’s drawings, which is why Ink makes so many because whenever he makes a new drawing it magically disappears.

If Error were to for any reason touch Error404, he would end up bugging out the entire Multiverse.

If Error 404 were to get any stronger than he is now (for example absorb the 7 human souls) he would end up destroying the Multiverse.

When Error404 and Error are in a cramped space the room they are in will begin to lag, but when they are in a room that isn’t so cramped and has enough space, the room will be normal again.

Unlike other battles, a battle with 404 would not turn everything black and white, but would somewhat turn everything into an abyss, there is no ground, and the physics in this dimension is kind of weird, this abyss has nothing, just what appears to be stars in the far distance. This means that you will only float and there’s nowhere to hide, nowhere to escape.

Nicknamed as «The God of the Underverse» He is the most powerful entity to exist in the vast multiverse.

His code is hidden where nobody but him can access. So if there were any hackers, he will not be affected.

Error404 Sans can collapse the Null Space void simply by stepping foot on it.

Sightings/Rumors

Geno says he once saw a weird looking skeleton walking around, but when he went to talk to it, it fled into the darkness.

Anonymous TDW went to check on his error counter part, but as he does, in the distances he sees a white hoodie sans who looks as if he were trying to free error!Anoumas. as soon as he got closer, Error404 was gone.

Even though it can’t talk, the Sanstrosity has seen Error404 but didn’t interact with him for fear that he may be attacked.

Ink!Sans has claimed and told Error!Sans that he saw a figure similar to him, but Error didn’t listen and blew it off like Ink was trying to trick him.

Undertale Frisk once told Sans that they saw another him wandering around the woods and fields of Snowdin and Waterfall.

Rescuetale Gaster was taking pictures of wildlife when a white thing that resembled Sans came into view. Gaster was able to take a picture of the being before he vanished.

S.T being the Judge seeks to eliminate him but he has only seen him once.

What!Sans, and Tahw!Sans have seen him, during a fight they were having.

Metroidtale Undyne barely caught a glimpse of Error 404 and tried to attack him with a swiftness type of super, homing missile, but Error 404 escaped before the missile could get to him.

Negative!Sans told his brother once while he’s exploring Horrortale, he found another him, but white. He didn’t interact with him because he have a fear that it might attack him. He only see him once.

Awesomness sans once saw him when he killed dust.

Floweytale Flowey has once claimed to have seen a strange, glitchy Sans once, he tried to take its SOUL but he found the vine he used to do so ripped out from his stem, after that he fled back to his AU.

Inkmare once saw a Sans going around and assumed it was Error in cosplay, so he left it alone.

Beta! Toriel confused him for Crimson. The results weren’t pretty.

Echo Flowey saw him wandering around the Neutral Timeline once, but he disappeared before he had time to tell anybody.

Killer saw some strange white sans while wandering around in horrortale, but when he tried to attack, it disappeared. he still lives to tell about it

VDash!Gadget at one point had to escape a collapsing Null Space Void which was caused by the appearance of a «White big boned looking Error Skeleton with a white and blue hooded robe, black shirt and shorts, and blue shoes.»

In HQ Error was looking around for 404. He even began to use his own scanner to track where he had been only to then turn around and see 404 hop out of the Mainframe. He was severely battered and bruised.
"Sir!, Damn you look like shit. What happened?" Error asked
"...Loading, Happened. Whats going on?" 404 asked as he regenerated his arm and his ribs and took off his jacket, Error need to take a minute to look at 404. He was everything he thought he was before they met. Strong, independent, charismatic and yet also colder than space itself. Yet he was none of those things now, but if 404 has taught him anything. Its that anyone can improve. He then shook his head and focused again.
"Sir, theres a metal version of you! A Robot!404!" Error said
"Oh? I'm flattered." 404 said
"Sir this is serious! It kidnapped Nightmare." Error said, 404 then looked back with a confused look with Error then also thinking about what he just said.
"Ok maybe thats not important, but that robotic version of yourself is. I could sense your own power coming from it. No doubt this has something to do with the abyss team." Error said as 404 then recreated his old digs(Navy blue design). He cracked his knuckles and then turned around to Error.



  


                       
  



"Hmm, yea I can feel it, its like theres another me flying around...this is interesting. Hmm kinda reminds me of my fight with Ares way back when. Still bizarre to think about. This really sucks though, if only I could be that strong on my own." 404 said scratching his skull.
"You aren't alone." Error said, 404 and Error looked at each other. They both soon wore determined faces with 404's having a hint of admiration. Error had come so far, he was everything 404 wished he was before. Error had shown true promise. Somewhere deep inside his soul he even felt like a proud father to Error. 
"Thanks G, I don't think I could have managed this far without you." 404 said, Error looked at him almost surprised before cracking a smile.
"Yea well I know that." Error smirked as he secretly was feeling a emotion greater than joy.
"Alright then, lets go out and-" however before 404 could finish a giant blue question appeared above them, so big it made the two look like ants.
"What the hell is that?!" Error shouted
"I'm...not sure." 404 said as then a group of people came falling down out of the mysterious questions mark, it was D+, Another!Sans, Supreme!Sans and even Code!Gaster who would all land a few feet away from 404 and Error who were now on guard more than ever.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!" Error shouted when he then met eyes with D+ who he knew very well. Supreme stood up and stretched a bit before doing a flip and finally landing on his feet...before doing another backflip.
"ALRIGHT! Enough fucking flips." D+ said to which Supreme just shrugged.

"That would indeed be me, you already know why I'm here. Your reign over the multiverse ends this day. Now you have two options, one is-"
"SHUT UP!" Error shouted
"Not really one of the options, but ok." Code!Gaster said
"You have only one option and thats dying!" Error shouted
