Hi LeapdroidDev99,
- Let me double check, the issue happened actually after you are able to use Leapdroid on your box for some time.
Exactly.
And in the middle, you actually did nothing (like installing/uninstalling Leapdroid) with leapdroid.
Yes.
- Did you happen to install/uninstall any other VBox related product in the middle, such as other emulators or vbox itself?
I removed one of my virtual machines from VirtualBox.

But if I run CMD as administrator, no error:
C:Program FilesLeapdroidVM>DoCustomActions.exe InstallRPrepare
Service stopped successfully
Successfully started service: LeapdroidVMDrv
it didn’t solve my problem, though. It appears to be related to VB Guest Additions, by judging from the log file.

«Unknown internal error» when starting LeapDroid #39
I’ve been using LeapDroid without any problem during the past days. Now, everytime I try to start VM1 or VM2, I receive the following error, and LeapDroid closes itself:
My OS is Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
I think the problem was due the fact that when starting the VM, there was already more than one «LeapdroidVM.exe» process active (I counted five of them). I terminated the processes through Task Manager, and finally I’ve been able to run LeapDroid.
So, the problem could be that when closing the main window through the «x» button, the process still occupied RAM.
Thanks for your detailed description, which helped us a lot. You know, it is not an easy job to hunt for the reason based on something like «this does not work».
Let me confirm: after killing all the LeapdroidVM processes, you are able to launch.
Do you still remember what you did in your last launching and then close? Such as: the leapdroidvm took a long time to disappear? You were running something at the same time while closing leapdroidvm?
If I recall correctly, on that day I opened and closed LeapDroid about 4 or 5 times, but it closed itself quickly every time. Moreover, I think explorer.exe crashed (it sometimes happens on my case), and I was even using VMWare Player and Oracle VM Virtualbox with two virtual machines.
I confirm that after killing each process, I was finally able to start LeapDroid again. In summary, the situation was this:
5 x LeapDroidVM.exe
1 x LeapDroidVMSVC.exe
I terminated the five LeapDroidVM.exe processes, leaving only LeapDroidVMSVC.exe active (thinking it was a service), then I started LeapDroid again through the desktop shortcut, and it ran.
Thanks for the details. OK, we will need to test our product in a more complex os env.
BTW: it is definitely OK to kill the service. That is started on demand. In this case, we also kill them «LeapdroidVM*» all.
Thank you for the support. If the problem will occur again, I will let you know as soon as possible. I want to congratulate you, anyway, because I think LeapDroid is the fastest (and I could add even stablest) Android emulator I’ve ever tried.
Thanks, I will let our team know your kind feedback. 🙂
I love it man. & thanks for your hard work, I am also getting this error can you help me.
Again Thanks for the best emulator.
Uhm, unfortunately it seems that the error is appearing again. No LeapDroid processes already active in RAM this time, but still not being able to run it (same error message). I noticed that after having clicked on the «OK» button, a LeapDroid process is left active in RAM:
I have to uninstall & re-install it every time when i use this, so kindly fix this issue.
I upload every essential log file, kindly look into this matter

Hi, Guys, First of all, thanks for trusting us and the invaluable log files. Can I ask a few more questions?
- Let me double check, the issue happened actually after you are able to use Leapdroid on your box for some time. And in the middle, you actually did nothing (like installing/uninstalling Leapdroid) with leapdroid.
- Did you happen to install/uninstall any other VBox related product in the middle, such as other emulators or vbox itself?
@Zeroxcore From the log, in your case, the kernel driver did not start at all. You can actually check the driver status by running Windows command console and using «sc query LeapdroidVMDrv». It should be in a running state.
@pidgeon777 Could you please share the log with us? I hope the reason is the same as Zeroxcore.
We do have a command utility to install (again) the driver for you. You can open a Windows command console and this time the console needs to be launched using administrator. Go to our program folder and use command «DoCustomActions.exe InstallRPrepare».
Please let us know whether this works for you. But god, even this works, we still need to figure out why the driver suddenly got disabled or deleted.
I just install your LeapdroidVMSetup64.msi 342mb setup & its work perfectly.
Thanks for your reply i will reply you if next time I will getting this issue, by the way service i think driver is running.
Thanks

I want to chime in with a contribution of my own. I got this error today on Windows 8.1, some time after rebooting for an unrelated issue and attempting to start Leapdroid. I attempted the above commands and suggestions made by LeapdroidDev99, with no change in the error message and the same result as Zeroxcore. However, I believe I may have found where the problem lies, at least in some cases.
First, I was running version 1.7 of Leapdroid, installed via exe. It was working perfectly earlier today, but after rebooting, the Unknown internal error message appeared. I uninstalled it and replaced it with 1.8, also through the exe installer. Leapdroid started just fine. I closed Leapdroid and made sure all Leapdroid processes had ended, then copied the data.vmdk which I’d backed up from the previous installation, just as I had done back when I went from 1.6 to 1.7. After that, Leapdroid threw the error message again and wouldn’t start.
In my case, it seems like something got corrupted within the data.vmdk, and this corruption prevented Leapdroid from starting. (Related note: the reason I rebooted was to resolve an issue with my mouse cursor appearing corrupted on one monitor but not the other, an AMD driver issue that crops up very rarely) Slight side note, the current data.vmdk, after installing/uninstalling everything the old one had, is about 500MB smaller, 2.209GB vs 2.790GB. Version 1.8 is working fine for now, but I’ll keep you posted if the problem recurs.
I removed one of my virtual machines from VirtualBox.

Unable to install properly due to DIGITALLY UNSIGNED driver #30
I have a ASUS tp301ua laptop with Windows 10 Home, version 1607 installed. I was unable to install Leapdroid properly because of a Windows Compatibility Assistant popup:
Leapdroid was installed but when opening it, a popup that says «Unknown internal error» occurs. When I click OK it just closes.
The new driver signing changes implemented by Microsoft might be causing this issue since VirtualBox Support Driver is not digitally signed according to their Program Compatibility Assitant (screenshot above).
I have tried installing Leapdroid in my sister’s laptop (Windows 10 Home also but was upgraded to version 1607 — not a clean install) and it had no issue. I was able to play Pokémon Go with it.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
We’ve installed the same Windows 10 x64 Anniversary build but cannot reproduce the issue locally.
Could you please help to check? Just go where programs are installed (typically C:Program FilesLeapdroidVM). Right click file «LeapdroidVMDrv.sys». Can you see the digital signing status?
Hi, thanks for the time you’ve given for this issue.
We’ve installed the same Windows 10 x64 Anniversary build but cannot reproduce the issue locally.
Does the Windows 10 build you’ve used to reproduce this problem was upgraded to the Windows Aniversary Update (I mean, was it updated or was the update already installed)?
Because my laptop has a clean install of Windows 10 Home (with the Anniversary Update already on it) and this issue occurs when I install Leapdroid. On the other hand, I tried to reproduce this issue on a laptop (which was updated recently to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update — not a clean install) and there was no issue on installing Leapdroid.
Could you please help to check? Just go where programs are installed (typically C:Program FilesLeapdroidVM). Right click file «LeapdroidVMDrv.sys». Can you see the digital signing status?
Even with the issues encountered (and mentioned above), Leapdroid was still installed. But when opening the program loads the Leapdroid splash screen and then a popup that says «Unknown internal error». And clicking OK closes the popup and the application.
But I was able to run Leapdroid when I disabled the driver signature enforcement on the startup settings. Of course, opening Leapdroid will always require a restart and this way is too much hassle and I don’t want to alter the startup settings of my machine.

As we all know that there are various kinds of Android emulators in the market now it is difficult to make out the best services. Among them is the Leapdroid emulator which used to provide the speediest performance of all. In this article here, we are going to discuss on Leapdroid Not Working issues as there are some with the system that users have started to complain about.
It was not long since the release of the application that some users experienced technical issues with its performances. Leapdroid is was worthy emulator while the developments were in progress but now the issues seem to catch up faster.
In this article here, we will discuss few of the issues that you can tackle with the given solutions here so go through it attentively.
Issues & Solutions of Leapdroid Not Working
We know that not all the functions of any application last perfect on the time scale of its use. Depending on some apps and games, there are various characteristics that determine the emulation speed of processing it through for the PC.
The major take with the Leapdroid application is getting through its Keymapping function. This means, the touch functions for the smartphones are placed onto the PC devices but they need to be mapped/assigned with particular functions. Most of the users face issues regarding allocation of functions and rather the Keymapping is difficult for them to understand. Although the same is not difficult to maneuver and things get in control after a few runs with the functions.
Here are some issues that we would like to point out with their possible control measures;
- Leapdroid not working with particular apps: This fact is a little less relevant to most of the apps in the Play Store. Leapdroid is functional and the team boasts about its compatibility as it is 99% of apps in the store. There are few apps which the emulator cannot emulate example Snapchat, or Facetime, etc. If the emulator cannot do this for a particular app, you may try to use a different emulator.
- Leapdroid bugs and glitches persist: This issue is also common as the development of the application stalled some time back. It was informed by the developers that there will be no more developments in term of Software for some time. We have not heard any news of the team getting back to it until now. Due to this, people using the last version or even older ones are going to face glitches at times with major capacity games and apps. To control this issue, you can simply restart the Leapdroid emulator and then the app/game. If issues persist, try to restart your PC and then run the application without any other functions taking place.
Apart from these, the only issue people may have using Leapdroid is due to the difficulty set in understanding the Keymapping. It is an excellent tool if you understand how to use it properly. Some games like “Clash of Clans” are less difficult on the mapping front. Other games like “Asphalt 8: Airborne”, “Critical Ops”, etc require more getting used to the keymapping functions.
With this, we have reached the end of this article here. We hope that this information on Leapdroid Not Working issues will help most of the users get through it swiftly. Please let us know if you have any questions. You can reach us at leapdroiddownloading. Thank you.

seems that host ibm-vmware-1 is not visible on this computer. or there is firewall which not enable required ports, see manual for ports.

Its not the solution — I’ve used only with IP not by DNS.
But:
I’ve installed Converter on VMware data-center (controlled by win 2008r2) as a client/server installation.
And I’ve successfully converter linux system — (I had to turn off ipsec — cause it would took ages to finish),
Still not success with W2003 SBS — but I have a different error now — I need to deploy W2003 first.
So thank you for help.
Weird that Convertion works only on vm-data-center server but, still good that it works at all so I will not comply .

When the source is remote powered on windows machine, agent installed on the source sends the bits directly to the ESX server, so you’ll need open network from the source machine (not only from the converter server machine) to the ESX on port 902. I guess you checked this already, but I decide to mention it just in case.
Thanks,
Zaro

Thank you for reply.
I have uninstalled anti-virus, and firewall, and I disabled windows firewall, this servers are on the same physical switch, there is no other firewalls.
How can I test connection — which number port is blocked?
I have no idea why they are not seeing each other.
What else can I do?

And like I said — it was directly connected to the ESX5 but with this strange connection problem.
After a million of tries — I found a way — first I did conversion this server to esxi4 (no errors….), next from esxi4 to esx5.
Awful weird performance, but works…

Yep, same problem. But it’s working on my Android Phone. I’m afraid, the compatibility with Blue Stacks is once again gone for a certain time.
level 2
Yeah, i think it’s the case. How much time passed for the latest update in order to be playable on BlueStacks again?
level 1
Same problem
I totally reinstalled bluestacks, no change
level 1
Updating through play store bugs it i think. To fix on memu you will have to uninstall and install via apk not play store. This fixes for me anytime this happens(also works for clash royale when updates break that). Unsure about other emulators.
level 2
where can i find the apk?
level 2
tried it, still doesnt work, did u test it urself?
level 1
Yuppie — one more small update by supercell of 8.08 MB plus an update to your google play games and bluestacks is again operational, now. All d best and happy playing clash of clans again on bluestacks, this update arrived 25 minutes back
level 2
Seriously? It works on an emulator last updated in 2016? But not on the newer ones?

Gives an error when I try to install it, do you have a link to their website?
(Error message: Unknown Internal Error).
level 1
Yes the game does not start
level 2
I tried to delete the app and reinstall it but the problem is still there
level 1
yup….bluestacks on iMac, won’t load, and on the iPad (not using bluestacks) won’t load.
However, iPhone6, and alcatel device, game loads and works fine.
level 2
i only have an iPhone6 and just like you, it works there. Now i’m trying to install MeMu and manually install the apk of clash
level 2
I got it to run with Nox App Player on my Mac with the separate apk file. But the frame rate sucks, so I can’t attack. It’s good for donating and starting upgrades though.
Nox: https://www.bignox.com/
APK: use the armeabi-v7a version from apkmirror.com
level 1
The problem is fixed everyone. Go update your clash of clans app in App Store
level 1
yes hello , using memu had the same problem

Simping for Electro Mommy
I’m building AOSP 8 in a Mac (macOS Sierra 10.12.6) and Jack is failing with an unknown internal error
Internal unknown error (415), try 'jack-diagnose' or see Jack server log
jack-diagnose shows this:
ps: illegal argument: -o
usage: ps [-AaCcEefhjlMmrSTvwXx] [-O fmt | -o fmt] [-G gid[,gid...]]
[-g grp[,grp...]] [-u [uid,uid...]]
[-p pid[,pid...]] [-t tty[,tty...]] [-U user[,user...]]
ps [-L]
Port 8073 is used by another process (pid=), please ensure to free the port or change port configuration in '/Users/user/.jack-settings' and '/Users/user/.jack-server/config.properties'
ps: illegal argument: -o
usage: ps [-AaCcEefhjlMmrSTvwXx] [-O fmt | -o fmt] [-G gid[,gid...]]
[-g grp[,grp...]] [-u [uid,uid...]]
[-p pid[,pid...]] [-t tty[,tty...]] [-U user[,user...]]
ps [-L]
Port 8072 is used by another process (pid=), please ensure to free the port or change port configuration in '/Users/user/.jack-settings' and '/Users/user/.jack-server/config.properties'
I looked at the ports and nothing seems out of the ordinary
$ lsof -n -i:8073 | grep LISTEN
java 70963 user 13u IPv6 0xd32bb4a6a5b6116b 0t0 TCP 127.0.0.1:8073 (LISTEN)
$ lsof -n -i:8072 | grep LISTEN
java 70963 user 11u IPv6 0xd32bb4a6a5b616ab 0t0 TCP 127.0.0.1:8072 (LISTEN)
The Jack logs show this:
16:14:44.181: WARNING: com.android.jack.server.router.ErrorContainer: Unknown request: 'POST /jack HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost:8072
User-Agent: curl/7.56.0

Content-Length: 800
Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=------------------------9507228002c18ced
'
I tried manually stopping and starting the jack server and even changing the ports, but nothing seems to fix the problem.
I though this could be related to my CURL version, but I believe I’m using the correct one
curl 7.56.0 (x86_64-apple-darwin16.7.0) libcurl/7.56.0 OpenSSL/1.0.2l zlib/1.2.11
Release-Date: 2017-10-04
Protocols: dict file ftp ftps gopher http https imap imaps pop3 pop3s rtsp smb smbs smtp smtps telnet tftp
Features: AsynchDNS IPv6 Largefile NTLM NTLM_WB SSL libz TLS-SRP UnixSockets HTTPS-proxy
I ran out of ideas and I really don’t know who what’s causing this problem. I believe Google is deprecating Jack (https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2017/03/future-of-java-8-language-feature.html) but I wonder why Jack is still enabled in AOSP by default. Setting ANDROID_COMPILE_WITH_JACK to false allows me to continue building, but that is just hiding the problem by not using Jack. Does anyone knows what’s wrong? Does this look like a set up problem or something is in fact broken with Jack? I posted this question in the android-build mailing list but haven’t heard anything so I’m hoping someone in the SO community might have an answer.
