Still this post is about SCCM 2007 with MDT 2010 integration. You may encounter the following error with the MDT 2010 Tookit package early in the deployment process: Task sequence … has failed with error code 0x800700A1
After searching a while I came across the following solution bescribed in KB2508665
This issue is caused by the default configuration of IIS in Windows Server 2008 blocking the ability to download files that end in the extension .config. The Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 Update 1 files package created by the Create Microsoft Deployment Task Sequence wizard and used in the Use Toolkit Package contains a file that ends in .config. The file is called OSDResults.exe.config and is located in the ToolsOSDResults directory of the package source files.
The solution here is to modify the IIS applicationHost.config file on the distribution points where your MDT 2010 toolkit package is located. The location of this file is: %Windir%System32InetsrvConfig
- Open the applicationHost.config file with notepad
- Search for file extension “.config” and change it to allowed=”true”
- Save & Close the file
- Restart the IIS services
I spend some time on this because I never thought before this could be an IIS issue. Hopefully can this post safe someone else time.

Started to have problems installing Win7 x64 on machines (HP EliteBook 9470) after removing drivers belonging to other package.
Keep on getting these error messages:
C:_SMSTaskSequencePackagesS01000FBScriptsZTISCCM.wsf(11, 3) (null): Library not registered.
C:_SMSTaskSequencePackagesS01000FBScriptsZTISCCM.wsf(1655, 4) Microsoft VBScript-runtime error: Object needed: ‘oUtility.Arguments’
Failed to run the action: Use Toolkit Package.
Incorrect function. (Error: 00000001; Source: Windows)
As stated above, the drivers that were removed belonged to another package (another HP machine), so it should not have affected this package. Or so i thought.
Every HP 9470 now bombs out on Use Toolkit Package, after the step «Setup Windows and ConfigMgr».
Initially i figured this was a driver related error, so drivers for the NIC has been removed and imported again (Intel 82579LM).
I’ve tried three different file versions, two from HP and one (newer date) from Dell and finally a native driver from Intel (dated from this year) to no avail.
The files are all downloaded fine.
I can ping internal servers and external sites.
When the machine boots up after this failed install, the icon for wireless connection behaves weird:
It shows as if there are wireless networks available but not connected.
Hovering the mouse over, it does say that it is connected and i can reach both internal servers and external websites.
Unplug and replug the network cable results in the icon for cabled network showing up for a few seconds, then disappering again, acting as if there is no LAN card available.
There are no missing drivers (no exclamation marks) in Device manager.
Anyone else seen this or something like it?

Hi guys, having this issue on some machines (not all) where I am getting a message (when running the Use Toolkit Package step) during OSD the message is the following
Failed to resolve the source for SMS PKGID=00000059, hr=0x800700a1 Install Software failed to run command line, hr=0x800700a1
This is very strange because I can build other machines, only getting this with two machines. Had a look and might be a content mismatch or something similar. But I have refreshed my toolkit package on distribution points and updated all distribution points but still getting the same result

Ok looks like have cracked it. In my advertisement settings I had to change «how clients interact with distribution points to retrieve content from packages reffered by the task sequence»
I have the following set
«Access content directly from a distribtioin point when needed by running the task sequence»
and have ticked
«When no local distribution point is available, use a remote distribution point»
Still doesnt let me know why it wouldnt download and run locally on some systems. Anyway should do the trick

Did something change in the software package? When you install the application manually with the same parameters is it working then?
When pressing F8 during OS deployment try to access the package on the DP and install the application manually with the same parameters.
Then you know if it’s something to do with security rights and/or bad application.

Different models, using same DNS servers. Works on same subnet (only building machines from one network subnet currently). I would read the SMSTS.LOG file but doesnt this only create once the OS has been layed down? Under C:WindowsSystem32?
Package is on DPs and have even tried recreating the package and then referencing this new toolkit package in OSD task sequence
I have now noticed it happening on about 4 machines all different models. But is not consistent as some still build fine and can access the toolkit package all good.
I tried the F8 thing and tried mapping directly to the toolkit share but got prompted for username / password. Should it prompt for this?
It should reveal a lot more about what’s going on.

Not really too sure what to troubleshoot next. The source has not changed which is weird. Would it be trying to reference the package source before using. I would have expected to see this on all machines I am attempting to build but is not the case. Not quite sure what else to do if I have already created and referenced a new Toolkit package?

Прежде всего стоит учитывать базовые рекомендации:
• Используйте оригинальные USB-кабели
• Подключайтесь к разъему USB 2.0 (не 3.0)
• Не используйте русские буквы в названиях папок, куда распаковывается прошивка
А также перед прошивкой внимательно посмотрите нашу видеоинструкцию от начала до конца.
Список ошибок и способы исправления:
Ошибка: Missmatching image and device (несоответствующий образ или устройство)
Решение: Скачана прошивка не для вашего устройства. Повторно загрузите подходящую именно для вашей модели. Чтобы точно определить модель вашего устройства и скачать подходящую прошивку, установите на смартфон приложение AIDA64 и в разделе «Система» запомните пункт «Устройство» — именно это кодовое имя устройства вам и понадобится при выборе прошивки. Теперь остается перейти на страницу скачивания прошивки miui.xiaomisir.ru и в поиск ввести это имя устройства. Таким образом вы получите полный список прошивок конкретно для вашего устройства.
Ошибка: current device antirollback version is greater than this package
Решение: вы пытаетесь установить очень старую версию прошивки, откат на которую уже запрещен.
Ошибка: flashing is not allowed in lock state
Решение: Загрузчик заблокирован. Необходимо его разблокировать перед прошивкой. Сделать это можно по следующей видеоинструкции.
Ошибка: Reached the end of the file 0x80070026 (достигнут конец файла)
Решение: используйте рекомендуемую версию программы MiFlash по ссылке.
Ошибка: Cannot receive hello packet (Не удается получить пакет приветствия) или Try to reset status
Решение: Попробуйте переключить кабель в другой порт USB 2.0. Проблема часто встречается на Windоws 7 и 8/8.1.
Ошибка: The specified file can not be found 0x80070002 (указанный файл не может быть найден)
Решение: Программа не может найти нужный файл для прошивки, например, flash_all.bat. Повторно скачайте архив с прошивкой и корректно распакуйте его, как показано в видеоинструкции. Обратите внимание, что файл с прошивкой для Mi Flash должен быть в формате .tgz. Если он в формате .zip — вероятно, вы скачали версию для Recovery.
Ошибка: Unspecified error 0xffffffff.
Решение: Необходимо вручную указать путь к файлу flash_all.bat (находится в папке с распакованной прошивкой).
Ошибка: 0x8007007b
Решение: Путь к файлу содержит русские буквы, либо в названии самого файла присутствует кириллица. Важно использовать исключительно латинские буквы. Также рекомендуется распаковывать программу Mi Flash и саму прошивку на системный диск (С).
Ошибка: Заданное приведение является недопустимым.
Решение: используйте рекомендуемую версию программы MiFlash по ссылке.
Ошибка: 0x80004005 FAILED (remote: unknown command).
Решение: Возможно скачана прошивка не для вашего устройства. Повторно загрузите подходящую именно для вашей модели.
Ошибка: Недостаточно ресурсов памяти для завершения операции 0x8007000e.
Решение: вашему ПК недостаточно оперативной памяти для установки прошивки. Попробуйте закрыть все остальные программы.
Ошибка: Длина не может быть меньше нуля.
Решение: Отключите цифровую подпись драйверов и подключите кабель в USB 2.0.
Ошибка: Failed Remоte: Partition Flashing Is Not Allowed
Решение: Загрузчик заблокирован. Необходимо его разблокировать перед прошивкой. Сделать это можно по следующей видеоинструкции.
Ошибка: Flash crclist error
Решение: Прошивка распакована некорректно. Воспользуйтесь бесплатным архиватором 7zip, а также распаковывайте прошивку на диск С и не используйте длинные названия папок.
Ошибка: Can not found file flash_all.bat.
Решение: Не найден необходимый файл для прошивки flash_all.bat. Перейдите в настройки MiFlash и в пункте «Advаnced» укажите путь к этому файлу (он находится в папке с распакованной прошивкой)
Ошибка: Can not fоund file flаsh_all_lock.bat.
Решение: Не найден необходимый файл для прошивки flash_all.bat. Перейдите в настройки MiFlash и в пункте «Advаnced» укажите путь к этому файлу (он находится в папке с распакованной прошивкой)
Ошибка: Несоответствие изображения и ошибки устройства.
Решение: Убедитесь, что смартфон находится в режиме FASTBOOT (войти в этот режим можно удержанием клавиш громкости вниз и питания из выключенного состояния). Затем повторно подключите смартфон к ПК через USB 2.0.
Ошибка: В экземпляре объекта не задана ссылка на объект.
Решение: Проблема чаще всего появляется на 32-битной версии Windоws. Желательно использовать 64 bit.
Ошибка: Cоuldn’t find flash script.
Решение: Корректно укажите папку с распакованной прошивкой. Как это сделать — показано в видеооинструкции.
Ошибка: ERROR: Время ожидания операции записи истекло.
Решение: Неполадка возникает из-за отсутствия драйверов. Если программа не видит прошивку, проверьте названия папок и файлов. Не забудьте перезагрузить ПК.
Ошибка: Синтаксическая ошибка в имени файла.
Решение: Вероятно, вы пытаетесь установить прошивку для Recovery в формате .zip. Необходимо скачать прошивку Fаstboot с расширением tgz и распаковать из двойного архива.
Ошибка: ACK cоunt don’t match.
Решение: Вероятно, вы пытаетесь установить прошивку для Recovery в формате .zip. Необходимо скачать прошивку Fаstboot с расширением tgz и распаковать из двойного архива. Убедитесь, что в архиве нет лишних папок «MЕTA-INF» и т.д. Должна быть только «imаges» и файлы с расширением .bat и .sh.
Ошибка: Flash TZ error.
Решение: Обычно ошибка появляется при использовании китайской прошивки. Скачайте глобальную прошивку (Glоbal ROM) и убедитесь, что загрузчик разблокирован.
Ошибка: You are nоt authоrized to download Mi Flash.
Решение: Необходимо авторизоваться для прошивки. Запустите программу для авторизации из папки auth и войдите в Mi аккаунт.
Ошибка: Flаsh Partition Error.
Решение: Разблокируйте загрузчик и при прошивке НЕ выставляйте опцию «Clеan all and lock, иначе загрузчик заблокируется обратно после прошивки.
Ошибка: Not catch checkpoint.
Решение: Не обращайте внимание данную неполадку, а просто попробуйте перепрошиться через TеstPoint.
Ошибка: Необрабатываемое исключение в приложении.
Решение: Ошибка может появляться при неправильной установке драйверов. Удалите приложение, повторно загрузите все нужные файлы и повторите попытку. Так же есть множество других факторов, которые могут влиять на прошивку, и их нельзя предугадать.
Ошибка: Can not read frоm port com.
Решение: Подключите смартфон в разъем USB 2.0. Если не помогает, возможно, поможет только прошивка в режиме EDL.
Ошибка: Ping target via firеhose.
Решение: Попробуйте перезагрузить ПК и повторить установку прошивки.
Ошибка: Требуемый ресурс занят (0x800700aa).
Решение: Попробуйте перезагрузить ПК и повторить установку прошивки.
Ошибка: Can not fоund programmer file.
Решение: Убедитесь, что скачана прошивка именно для Fastboоt в формате tgz и корректно распакована.
Ошибка: Flаsh xbl error.
Решение: Убедитесь, что вы скачали соответствующую прошивку, разблокировали загрузчик, скачали рекомендуемую версию MiFlash и корректно распаковали прошивку.

Довольно распространённая проблема среди пользователей операционной системы Windows любых версий – ошибка msi при установке программ из файла с расширением .msi. В этой статье я опишу часто встречаемые проблемы с установщиком Windows 7/10/XP и варианты их решения, а также сделаю видео по текущему вопросу.
Файлы с расширением .msi это обычные пакеты установки (дистрибутивы) из которых ставится программа. В отличии от обычных «setup.exe», для запуска файла msi система использует службу Windows Installer (процесс msiexec.exe). Говоря простыми словами, установщик Windows разархивирует и запускает файлы из дистрибутива. Когда Windows Installer не работает, то появляются различные ошибки.
Вообще, меня это жутко бесит, т.к. после глупого сообщения об ошибке совсем непонятно что делать дальше. Microsoft специально разработали установщик Windows Installer для расширения возможностей установки программ (в основном это касается системных администраторов), но не позаботились должным образом о безглючной работе этой службы или хотя бы об адекватных сообщениях о проблемах. А нам теперь это разгребать 🙂
Неполадки могут быть с работой самой службы или могут возникать в процессе установки программ, когда всё настроено, в принципе, правильно. В первом случае нужно ковырять службу установщика, а во втором решать проблему с конкретным файлом. Рассмотрим оба варианта, но сначала второй.
Ошибки msi файлов
Очень часто ошибки появляются из-за недостаточных прав системы на файлы или папки. Нельзя сказать, что Windows Installer не работает, в этом случае достаточно просто добавить нужные права и всё заработает. Буквально вчера я столкнулся с тем, что скаченный дистрибутив .msi не захотел устанавливаться, при этом успешно запускается мастер установки, выбираются параметры, но затем система думает несколько секунд и выдаёт ошибку:
«Error reading from file «имя файла» verify that the file exists and that you can access it» (Error 1305). Переводится «Ошибка чтения из файла … проверьте существует ли файл и имеете ли вы к нему доступ». Ну не тупняк ли? Естественно, что кнопка «Повторить» не помогает, а отмена прекращает всю установку. Сообщение особой смысловой нагрузки также не несёт, т.к. файл точно существует и я имею к нему доступ, иначе бы просто не смог его запустить и получить это сообщение, к тому же почему-то на английском языке 🙂
А ошибка в том, что не Я должен иметь доступ к файлу, а установщик Windows, точнее сама Система. Решается очень просто:
- Кликаем правой кнопкой по файлу с расширением .msi, выбираем «Свойства»
- На вкладке «Безопасность» смотрим, есть ли в списке пользователь с именем «система» или «System»
- Скорее всего вы такого не увидите. Поэтому будем добавлять вручную. Нажимаем кнопку «Изменить…», затем «Добавить…»
- В поле пишем «система» или «System» (если у вас английская Windows) и нажимаем «Проверить имена». При этом слово должно стать подчёркнутым как на картинке.
- Нажимаем «ОК», ставим галочку «Полный доступ», «ОК»
- Кнопка «Дополнительно» -> «Изменить разрешения…» ставим «Добавить разрешения, наследуемые от родительских объектов», «ОК» три раза.
Теперь ошибка установщика не появится! Можно добавить доступ на всю папку, из которой вы обычно инсталлируете программы, например на папку «Downloads», как у меня. Смотрим видео по решению проблем с правами доступа:
В Windows XP вкладки «Безопасность» не будет, если включён простой общий доступ к файлам. Чтобы его выключить, нужно зайти в и выключить опцию «Использовать простой общий доступ к файлам». В урезанных версиях Windows 7/10 и XP вкладки «Безопасность» нет в принципе. Чтобы её увидеть, нужно загрузить Windows в безопасном режиме и зайти в неё под администратором.
Ещё способы решить проблему
- Запускайте установку, войдя в систему под администраторским аккаунтом
- Правой кнопкой по пакету «.msi» и выбираем «Запуск от имени Администратора»
- Выключите антивирус на время
- Включить режим совместимости с предыдущими операционными системами. Для этого зайдите в свойства файла msi и на вкладке «Совместимость» поставьте галочку «Запустить программу в режиме совместимости»
- Если файл на флешке, то попробуйте скопировать его куда-нибудь на жёсткий диск и запустить оттуда (бывает, что запрещена установка программ со съёмных накопителей)
- Попробуйте просто создать новую папку с любым именем в корне диска, перекинуть туда дистрибутив и запустить его оттуда
Описанный метод поможет при разных сообщениях, с разными номерами. Например, вы можете видеть такие ошибки файлов msi:
- Error 1723
- Internal Error 2203
- Системная ошибка 2147287035
- Ошибка «Невозможно открыть этот установочный пакет»
- Ошибка 1603: Во время установки произошла неустранимая ошибка
Во всех этих случаях должна помочь установка прав на файл и/или на некоторые системные папки. Проверьте, имеет ли доступ «система» к папке временных файлов (вы можете получать ошибку «Системе не удается открыть указанное устройство или файл»). Для этого:
- Сначала узнаем нужные пути. Нажмите «Win + Pause» и зайдите в
- В списках ищем переменные с названиями «TEMP» и «TMP» (значения обычно совпадают), в них записаны пути к временным папкам, которые использует установщик Windows
- Теперь идём к этим папкам и смотрим в их свойствах, имеет ли к ним доступ «система». Чтобы быстро получить путь к временной папке пользователя, кликните два раза по переменной, скопируйте путь и вставьте его в адресной строке «Проводника» Windows
После нажатия «Enter» путь преобразится на «нормальный» и вы переместитесь в реальную временную папку. Права на неё и надо проверять. Также рекомендую очистить временные папки от всего что там скопилось или даже лучше удалить их и создать новые с такими же названиями. Если не получается удалить папку, почитайте как удалить неудаляемое, но это не обязательно.
Если служба Windows Installer всё равно не хочет работать, то проверьте права на папку «C:Config.Msi», сюда «система» также должна иметь полный доступ. В этом случае вы могли наблюдать ошибку «Error 1310». На всякий случай убедитесь, что к папке КУДА вы инсталлируете софт также есть все права.
Если вы используете шифрование папок, то отключите его для указанных мной папок. Дело в том, что хотя мы сами имеем к ним доступ, служба Microsoft Installer не может до них достучаться пока они зашифрованы.
Ещё ошибка может быть связана с битым файлом. Может быть он не полностью скачался или оказался битым уже на сервере. Попробуйте скачать его ещё раз оттуда же или лучше с другого места.
Ошибка установщика Windows
В случае общих проблем не будут устанавливаться никакие msi файлы, процесс установки, скорее всего, даже не начнётся. При этом могут появляться ошибки вида:
- Нет доступа к службе установщика Windows
- Не удалось получить доступ к службе установщика Windows
- Ошибка пакета установщика Windows (1719)
или ещё нечто подобное со словами «ошибка msi», «Windows Installer Error». Всё это означает, что система дала сбой и теперь её надо лечить. Может вы ставили какой-то софт, который испортил системные файлы и реестр, или подхватили вирус. Конечно, никогда не будет лишним удалить вирусы, или убедиться что их нет. Но оставьте этот вариант на потом, т.к. обычно проблема кроется в другом.
Сначала давайте проверим работает ли служба Windows Installer:
- Нажмите «Win + R» и введите services.msc
- Найдите в конце списка службу «Установщик Windows» или «Windows Installer»
- Тип запуска должен быть «Вручную». Если она «Отключена», то зайдите в «Свойства» и выберите «Вручную»
- Затем кликните по ней правой кнопкой и выберите «Запустить» или «Перезапустить». Если ошибок нет и состояние переходит в режим «Работает», то здесь всё нормально.
- Нажмите «Win + R» и введите msiexec. Если модуль MSI работает нормально, то должно появиться окно с версией установщика и параметрами запуска, а не ошибка.
Следующее что я посоветую сделать – это выполнить команду сканирования системы на повреждённые и изменённые системные файлы. Нажмите «Win + R» и введите
Sfc /scannow
Произойдёт поиск и замена испорченных файлов на оригинальные, при этом может потребоваться вставить установочный диск с Windows XP-7-10. После окончания процесса перегрузитесь и посмотрите, решена ли проблема.

Параметры реестра и службы
Следующий способ устранения ошибки – восстановление рабочих параметров в реестре установщика Windows Installer.
Скачать msiserver.reg
Для этого скачайте архив и запустите оттуда два reg-файла, соответственно своей версии Windows. Согласитесь с импортом настроек.
Важно! Перед последним действием желательно создать точку восстановления системы! Если способ не поможет или станет хуже, вы сможете восстановиться до прежнего состояния.
В Windows XP или Windows Server 2000 установите последнюю версию установщика 4.5.

Если не помогло, то проделайте ещё перерегистрацию компонентов:
- Нажмите «Win + R» и введите «cmd». Затем в чёрном окне введите последовательно команды:
MSIExec /unregister
MSIExec /regserver - В ответ должна быть пустота, никаких ошибок. Если проблема не решена, введите ещё команду
regsvr32 msi.dll - Закройте чёрное окно
Если пишет, что не хватает прав, то нужно запускать командную строку от имени Администратора.
Если команды выполнились, но не помогло, то скачайте файл и запустите msi_error.bat из архива, проверьте результат.

Также, многие программы используют .NET Framework, поэтому не будет лишним установить последнюю версию этого пакета. И, напоследок, ещё один совет: если в пути к файлу-дистрибутиву есть хоть одна папка с пробелом в начале названия, то удалите пробел. Такой простой приём решит вашу проблему 🙂
Подведение итогов
Ошибки с установщиком Windows очень неприятные, их много и сразу непонятно куда копать. Одно ясно – система дала сбой и нужно восстанавливать её до рабочего состояния. Иногда ничего не помогает и приходится переустанавливать Windows. Однако не торопитесь это делать, попробуйте попросить помощи на этом форуме.
