Мне кажеться у каждого должна быть методичка в таких проблемах (Проверка файлов переустановка) РЕШАЕТ 98% ВАШИХ ПРОБЛЕМ

Да можно и не переустанавливать даже. Скачай Media Creation Tool с сайта майков, выбери обновлене винды. Винда свежая встанет, настройки, программы и документы останутся.

Запускать игры напрямую из Стим Библиотеки.
Провести проверку файлов дважды подряд.

Стим запускать только от админа (и делать так изначально).

Если игры коррапттяся обратно — удалять читы, вирусы и кряки — и валидировать игры повторно.

The most commonly known method of getting the achievement was pressing ALT+F4 to close Wallpaper Engine mid-boot sequence. This does not work as of the current build. I attempted this about 30 times to no avail.

Another method involved terminating the Explorer.exe program while WE was up and running. This also does not work anymore and what it leaves you with is a black screen with the WE window the only thing displaying.

A third method required you to remove the assets folder from the WE files folder in the steam directory and then opening the wallpaper creator. This method does give you an error, but the achievement didn’t unlock for me. I tried it about 10 times and it gave me an «fatal» error message every time and still didn’t work.

Fourthy, another guide by Cr0wnix said that you could crash WE by pasting this link into the url button: http://mail.lipsia.de/

enigma/vic2r1/fullvic_lowquality.jpg He updated the guide however on 9/16/17 saying it no longer worked.

A method that I thought up was to overload my RAM thus forcing the program to close to save memory, I don’t know if this works or not but I wasn’t able to get specifically Wallpaper Engine to be the program to overload, so I can’t say this doesn’t work.

A comment by Biohazard [Developer] said: «There are some web based matrix wallpapers which will trigger a text rendering bug in Chromium after running for a few hours, that is currently a way to get it.» (2/16/17). He updated it on 5/15/17 saying that it still works.

Another comment by Arthesian in the same thread said: «I got it by setting a slideshow (folder select) to a network location. It will work sometimes, but very frequently it will fail loading the images in the folder, resulting in a crash. ( most often with large images ( 3MB+ ), don’t know why )» (2/17/17).

Wallpaper engine error reading application id

So I’ve got an issue here with Wallpaper Engine, I keep getting this:

ERROR Failed copying project files into publish directory: Failed resetting directory D:/Steam/steamapps/common/wallpaper_engine/projects/temp/publish (Access is denied)

Has anyone got a fix to this error? This used to never happen, I’ve got uploads that I’ve made for W.E, than this error started showing up and now I cant upload anything now. I’m trying to upload a .gif file and an .mp4 file. both keep giving me this error.

Any help would be nice.

Did you launch Wallpaper Engine or Steam as an administrator in the past? This is very likely caused by something like that, check if the directory D:/Steam/steamapps/common/wallpaper_engine/projects/temp exists and see if it is set to «read-only» or something like that. Try deleting (if it’s there) and manually (re-)creating the temp/publish directory and see if that fixes the problem.

how do i see if its set to read only?

EDIT: i think i found it but i cant remove it, ive tried but it just comes back on whenever i click out. i have clicked apply and stuff it just still comes back
