       It
could be frustrating when you are trying to install any application and it
denies to install. This time I came across when i face the same problem while I
was trying to install Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 which I recently uninstalled due
to few windows issues when I upgraded my windows 7 professional to windows 10
professional. When I tried to initiate the installation process it suddenly
gave me an error We’ve encountered the following issues”.
Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe support advisor to detect
the problem
.

There
was a link mentioning Get Adobe
Support Advisor.
I clicked on that and boom The Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued. The web
page said. I even restarted my system couple of time but it didn’t help. Then
after a bit of research I was able to install and same fix I am going to
provide in this article. I hope it is going to help you. Please note this fix
is also works with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.

If you are using 32 bit windows OS then open folder Program files else open
Program Files x86
if you using windows 64 bit windows OS.

Open folder «Common Files».

Open
Adobe Folder.

There you need to search folder
OOBE
and need to rename this folder to OOBE.old.

Once done close all the open explorer windows and initiate set up using
installation media or installation folder whatever you have. Hopefully you will
be able to see a pop up mentioning
Initializing
Installer
and within few seconds installer will provide you a Welcome
screen with preferred installation option

Please Go ahead and follow on screen instruction to install the desired
application. I have also provided screenshots for the convenience.

If
you are a Mac OS X user, please get the OOB folder from below path and rename
it to OOB.old.

Hi,

I’ve been having an error message of «We’ve encountered the following issues: Creative Cloud desktop failed to install» every time I try to install.

I tried the steps others have mentioned about using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and changing the OOBE folder names, as well as removing other Adobe software, but it didn’t help.

Obviously this is very frustating because I cannot download any Adobe software to use without the CC app.

The Cleaner Tool gave me this log:

You are here: Home / How To / Creative Cloud Desktop Failed to Install on Windows

Adobe Creative Cloud Logo With the latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, I’ve been having issues to install any of CC programs from the suite due to the issues to even get Creative Cloud Desktop application on my Windows 8 updated. Every time the update file is run, the Adobe Installer shows an error message:

We've encountered the following issues:
Creative Cloud desktop failed to install.

Adobe Creative Cloud Installer Failed Installation

The following recommendation was provided by Adobe staff, which I followed to the dot but still didn’t solve my problem. It seemed the cleaner did not do the job correctly. The log shows many “access denied” issues in the directories it’s trying to clean up (C:Users(UserName)AppDataLocalTempAdobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log).

It turns out the solution was much simpler, the recommendation would work by restarting the system for each of the step described.

So to sum up the steps:

  1. Restart Windows

  2. Download Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool

  3. Run Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose option 3 and then option 1 to complete the cleaning process.

  4. Once done please rename OOBE folder from these locations:

    Windows:
    C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobe
    C:Users(UserName)AppDataLocalAdobe

  5. Restart Windows

  6. Download Creative Cloud

  7. Run Creative Cloud file (CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe).

Another note: By default, CC programs are installed side-by-side with CS6. You can install Photoshop CC first before removing Photoshop CS6. Doing it this way enables you to migrate CS6 presets to Phothoshop CC.

If you’re still having other issues, you can contact Adobe support or start a new discussion in the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum.

Assetto Corsa Unexpected Error Problem Solution

In this article, we will try to solve the «Unexpected Error» error that Assetto Corsa players encounter while opening the game.

The «Unexpected Error» problem that Assetto Corsa players encounter when they want to open the game, due to many problems, restricts your access to the game. If you are facing such a problem, you can solve the problem by performing the following steps.

What is Assetto Corsa Unexpected Error?

This error we encountered restricts our access to the game by encountering such an error output because the models in the game file are not read or read incorrectly. If there is any mod pack you have installed in the game, the game will not be able to read this modeling and will restrict your access to the game.

How To Fix Assetto Corsa Unexpected Error?

In order to fix this error we encountered, you can reach the solution of the problem by following the suggestions below.

1-) Uninstall Mod Pack

We can eliminate this problem by completely removing any mod pack that you have applied in the game from the game file. The mod package you installed in the game folder may not match the game version. For this, a mod pack that will match the game version will prevent you from encountering such problems.

2-) Verify Game File Integrity

We will verify the game file integrity and ensure to scan and download any missing or faulty files. For this;

  1. Open the Steam program.
  2. Open the library menu.
  3. Right-click the Assetto Corsa game on the left and open the Features tab.
  4. Open the Local Files menu on the left side of the screen that opens.
  5. Click the «Verify integrity of game files» button in the Local Files menu we encountered.

After this process, the download will be performed by scanning the damaged game files. After the process is finished, try to open the game again.

Content Manager (Questions & Answers)

Chipi40s

Chipi40s

So i recently install sol 2.0 and had an issue when starting up a practice session in single player mode in Content Manager. I had Sol 1.0 and horizon shades installed with track and car mods aswell as the sidekick mod whihc ran perfectly before i installed Sol 2.0. I kept getting the «unexpected error» message after it loads up the session which i have to alt tab over to to close. After exiting the session window, on content manager i would get «game crashed» and the following error message

ACgame.cpp (261): Game::update
ACgame.cpp (261): Game::update
ACgame.cpp (261): Game::update
ACgame.cpp (112): Game::onIdle
ACgame.cpp (210): Game::run
ACacs.cpp (477): wWinMain
f:ddvctoolscrtcrtw32dllstuffcrtexe.c (618): __tmainCRTStartup

I have no idea what it means or what the problem is. I saved my mods on a seperate folder, re installed AC and added back the mods and had no issues. I installed Sol 2.0.2 and horizon shaders with CSP verzion 1.71. For got to mention i update CSP for sol 2.0 to 1.68. Still having the same issue but not with every track. I dont know why. Can somebody look into it and see how i would be able to fix it?

If you have this set to «steam» — then set it back to AppID!

After that just remove «ContentManager.exe» from where you put it after download.

CM is not to be confused with CustomShadersPatch (CSP), to remove that:
-you either remove «dwrite.dll» from AC folder (more stuff in next post, but thats CSP itself)
-or use this button:

Every time I try to start a race, I get the race cancelled error. I’ve tried everything in the book. Checked file integrity, reinstalled the game, tried to force 32 bit, changed resolution, used the different starters even. Nothing works.

My specs: Intel(R) Core i7-6700HQ CPU @2.60GHz 2.59GHz
16gb ram
Model:G752VT with 64 bit operating system

I got this error on the last start up attempt. I’m just frustrated at this point.

What can I do? Any help is appreciated?

This has happened to me 3-4 times over the last couple years.. Everytime it has, a full reinstall has been in order.

Surely one time it was because I filled up the harddrive that AC was on and at that point it doesnt matter how much stuff I deleted, still corrupted the game and needed to be fully deleted and reinstalled.

Good luck and this may not be your issue, just throwing my experience out there..

No, not yet, disable all apps and remove «DWrite.dll» from ac folder (thats CustomShadersPatch), then try with vanilla AC.

If still not working now also remove docs folder, then try with vanilla AC again.

Hi there fellow drivers!

I’ve been introduced to the digital racing world for about a year ago and still enjoying the times I sit behind the wheel but still got lost in the jungle of settings..

From the beginning I bought the loadcell brake from Fanatec because of the many happy users and been playing with the settings till.. Well not long ago.. I was using a Playseat and set the Brake force to 20/30 because I didn’t want to bend the rig but couldn’t find the sweet spot and took me a while to tell myself that it doesn’t change the amount of braking in game if I press it trough the rig or just press it to its maximum I set it to even with my new Rseat RS1 I didn’t set it higher then 50, but that’s not the reason for this topic!

My question is what are the best wheel/game settings, I’ve been playing for a couple of months with the same settings and I drove myself some nice times on the green hell!

I started with drifting last week so made a new profile with my drift settings, but today I wanted to do some tourist rounds on multiplayer and took my main settings but it felt different.. So I made some changes and now I’m not satisfied at all, took the Base settings from the Fanatec forum and changed the Gyro setting in the .ini file and it felt totally different then before.

Searched the internet for some tips and advises but I’m getting lost in the forest of settings..

Should I use FFBClip ingame or FFB settings from CM or the FFB settings came with CSP?

My gear:
Fanatec CSL Elite Wheel Base (officially licensed for PlayStation)
CSL Elite Racing Wheel P1
ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula 1 Esports
CSL Elite Pedals + Loadcell

Please ask me anything I need to provide for more information about settings etc.

Custom Shaders Patch freezing and crashing on the server

Hello, I have my own server, past 2, 3 weeks everything was perfect but since 8 of June (3 days ago) game start crashing. I’m using content manager, last version, custom shaders patch, before I used 0.1.78-pre. After realizing 0.1.78 I started using 0.1.79-pre. On the server, after 5, 10, 60 secs or few mins game freezes for 1 sec (like it try to load something) and I get message (screen) «unfortunately, Assetto Corsa has crashed». I have this problem with all of the csp versions now. I thought that it maybe problem with my own server, I tested on other servers and I have the same problem. I reinstalled assetto corsa, content manager, csp, deleted all the settings, tried to deactivate some/all csp extensions, changed graphics settings but nothing works I hope that someone can help me, thank you!

P.s. Video how it looks like:

When you say you’ve tried deactivating all CSP extensions, does that include deactivating CSP itself?

And does this occur on any other games, or only with AC?

[edit]: I forgot to mention that your video was very helpful in describing the issue, so thank you. Also, does the issue show up in single-player/offline mode?

Thank you very much for the reply. If I delete patch from Settings -> CSP, and try to join every server I get a message: «Server auth failed, please update content manager to v0.8.2329.38887 (screen 1), but my CM version is 0.8.2329.39063 (screen 2).

About over games, I play GTA V rage sometimes and don’t have any problems.

About single player mod, I didn’t tested it because I don’t play it anymore, only in multiplayer)

P.S. I tryed to roll back my windows, that didn’t help me either.

Unfortunately, I’ve never encountered such an error and cannot help you out there. I suppose you could try to reinstall CM, but I suppose it’s unlikely to fix it since you’re able to connect to the server when CSP is installed. Sorry.

Does Content Manager ever tell you that «your GPU might be overclocked too much or overheated»? I usually get that message after CSP crashes.

I get this message, is there a fix for this?

I underclocked my gpu to counteract this but it didn’t help. So far the only CSP version that my game doesn’t crash on is 1.6.0

I use CSP v1.74, but haven’t tried any other versions to determine whether those will fix the problem

Do you use an Nvidia graphics card?

If so, do the following after you get another crash:

Go to your «Event Viewer» Windows program.
Then go to «Windows Logs > System»

Check the immediate, recent events, and look for something along the lines of «nvidia display driver» with Event ID 13.

If you have that, then I think the fix is to disable Windows Update. I’m unable to explain with complete clarity, because I’m quite tech-illiterate, but the gist of the situation is that Windows Update tries to install or update your graphics driver, which causes issues for your game.

You can disable Windows Update by doing this:

Go to the program «Services» (you can search for this, too).
Go down the list until you find the «Windows Update» service, and right click on it to select «Properties».
Stop the service (if it’s running) and select «Disabled» in the «Startup type» dropdown box.

Beware that Windows ALWAYS finds a way to re-enable your Windows Update service. I’ve been unsuccessful at permanently disabling that service, so I’ve pinned the «Services» app to my toolbar so that I can check whether it’s disabled before racing. When Windows does re-enable the service by itself, the error eventually returns.

I cannot say with complete certainty that this will fix your issue, but it has worked very well for me. At the very least, I hope that you will learn to use the Event Viewer program so that you can identify the root issue. Try taking a look, even if you have an AMD card.
