Windows

Ошибка выглядит так- « Windows could not parse or process the unattend answer file for pass [Speicalize]. The settings specified in the answer file cannot be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for component [Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup]. ».

oshibka vo vremya ustanovki

oshibka vo vremya ustanovki

According to: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749178.aspx the Microsoft-Windows-TCPIP component doesn’t exist in Windows Web Server 2008 so how do we assign static network information in a Web Server 2008 unattended deployment? I’ve tried adding it even though the technet article indicates it shouldn’t work as such:

You can run a customed script after Windows installation complete. Try add commands to the %WINDIR%SetupScriptsSetupComplete.cmd file. This file enables you to install additional applications, run custom Windows scripts (cscript/wscript), or make other modifications to the system before a user logs on. For more information, please refer to the following article.

Question: Q: MacBook Air 2013 Bootcamp problem!

I recently purchased a Mac Book Air 2013 a few days ago and have been trying to get Windows 7 up and running on it. However, I keep running into the same error over and over again.

I am able to select the language and keyboard layout etc. However after clicking ‘Install’ it will begin to look like the setup is begining, as there is a cicrcle icon spinning and «Setup is Starting» appears.

Then i receive the following error «Install Windows»: «Windows Setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend answer file.»

— I am using an iso image which i downloaded directly from Microsoft. So i know for a fact the iso is not tampered with or corrupted in anyway. I lso had the same exact error when trying to install a copy of Windows 8 aswell.

— I am using a 16GB USB drive so I don’t think that could be the problem either.

If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction it would be appreciated! I have so far only managed to find one other user who had a similar problem and I am not sure if they managed to fix it or not. Here’s a link to his discussion thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5176298?answerId=22502335022#22502335022

I actually have the same problem except I have a late 2013 iMac and am using disc to install and it does the same exact error you get. I have tried Windows 7 x64 with SP1 and non SP 1 versions. I am running Maveraks also.

I managed to fix my problem mate. I highly reccomend you use a USB to install Windows 7. You can download legit ISO files from the Internet which need activation codes etc. Or like me lol I used a pre activated pirated ISO from PrateBay.

Now make sure you are using a high quality USB stick with atleast 8GB memory. When i had the error I was using a non branded USB which had very slow read and write speeds! This was what caused the error strangely. The moment I used a HP memory stick using the exact same ISO file for Windows, the installation was a breeze.

So basically 1) Use a high quality USB with tleast 8GB memory. 2) Create a bootable memory stick using Bootcamp for the USB 3) Close bootcamp and then reopen it again and make sure you install the bootcamp software onto the stick. 4) Completley shutdown your mac and start the installation from a cold boot (This helped me for some odd reason)

There are many vidoes on youtube on how to do this. Hope this somewhat helps you /: It was very frustrating for me

Windows 7 unattend.xml help.

mini magick20140113 16107 12qpcmu medium

The help desk software for IT. Free.

Track users’ IT needs, easily, and with only the features you need.

Hello. I’m trying to create an unattend.xml file. I have made it myself by copy/paste parts of code i like to try and make something work but haven’t been successful.

What my goal is to not give the user any prompts except to partition the disk and to enter a computer name. Also the computer should auto activate with the entered mak key.

I would like the windows firewall to be enabled and set to work and windows update to automatically update.

aditionally I would like Internet explorer to use google as the search provider and not give any first run wizard. I would also like to add one site to compatibility view.

The computer will go into a workgroup to be added to the domain later.

I tried to make the below file and the sysprep process begins but then there are a few errors after setup installing devices and the whole process fails. Please can someone take a look and fix my unattend.xml. Thanks in advance.

I copy unattend.xml to c:windowssystem32sysprep, I use the below command to start the process:

sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:c:windowssystem32sysprepunattend.xml

windows setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend file

— windowsPE
— specialize
— oobe

windows setup
encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend answer
file

Creating a VM in VMM using an answerfile is failing.

We have a Template for W2K8 R2 which when used on its own has no problems being used in creating a VM. I am trying to create a process where the creation of a VM sets the IP settings amongst a few other tweaks so that it is basically ready to be handed over
to a user almost immediately after adding to the domain manually as we don’t want to expose any passwords.

There is an IP Address which we have reserved for the initial creation to get the VM on the network and then we have a powershell script in the template which will connect to a SQL DB which holds assigned and unassigned IP addresses to get the next available
and then using WMI changes the IP address appropriately. Before I added the IP settings to the answer file everything seemed to work in setting the International settings however now it does not.

The following error is returned in VMM when the Job Fails:

Error (609) : — Virtual Machine Manager cannot detect a heartbeat from the specified virtual machine. Either the virtual machine is not running or Virtual Machine Additions is not installed.

Recommended Action : — Verify the status of the virtual machine by connecting to it using Virtual Machine Remote Client (VMRC), and then try the operation again.

When i actually try and connect to the Virtual machine it is in the middle of the setup process giving me the error «VMM windows setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend answer file» . Please see below the answer file
being used.

Thanks

Run BC Assistant and Remove/Restore the current Windows<<< how should i do this ? i have to remove and install windows on flash drive again ? or how do i restore it ? when i go to bootcamp it has only one option to delete partition after unsuccessful installation.

rest on down list i did.

  • ———————————————————————————
  • Disconnect all external peripherals
  • Reset SMC and NVRAM
  • Re-run BCA and try to install Windows

so still is giving the same error i have downloaded windows latest version from microsoft website.

my macbook air is 2014 early model.

Your 2014 Mac should have three options in — Create, Download and Install (or Remove).

  • Create+Download create the USB2 Flash drive installer, which needs to be done only once.
  • Install partitions and installs Windows using the USB2 Installer.
  • Remove removes an existing installation.

What is the name of the W10 ISO file and its MD5sum?

Matches the one that I have…

MD5(Win10_1909_English_x64.iso)= 86c16116ebacf9b29e4766dd479b5a79

Disconnect all external peripherals, reset SMC and NVRAM, connect the USB2 Flash drive, and run BCA and pick on Install.

Nope still not working same error…

i change my mind i will throw away my macbook and will buy windows laptop…

unfortunately i discovered after a lots of years with mac that on windows much to do.

especially i’m mad about 32bit apps that’s why i wanted windows.

so thank you for your help and goodbye.

If you upgrade to macOS Catalina, you do not get 32-bit application support on macOS. Mojave is the last version to support 32-bit.

Windows support for 32-bit software is independent of the macOS 32-bit support.

I get the error:

windows setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend file

As soon as I click on «Install Now» I get an error message: «Windows Setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend answer file.» I have OSX 10.9.1. Before the error I partitioned the hard disk (for 25 GB Windows) using Boot Camp, and downloaded the latest Windows support software onto a USB drive. After inserting the Windows 7 install disk a DOS-like «Windows is loading files…» appears, then «Starting Windows.» I click on «Install Now» and the error message appears. Of course it tells me nothing else.

Describe to us what kind of Windows 7 disk you’re using to install? For example: Microsoft boxed Windows 7 x 32 or 64 bit full version? OEM System Builder’s full version?

  • #3

Thanks for the quick reply. The packaging that contained the disk is an OEM System Builder Pack. It is 64-bit, SP 1. Did I buy the wrong software?

No, that’s a good version, it should have worked. The reason I asked is because I’ve never seen that error before and thought maybe you were using the wrong version.

I didn’t follow the sequence of installation you used. I suggest trying again but make sure you install Windows 7 first before installing the driver package you downloaded from Apple.

Also, Boot Camp initially formats the partition as FAT-32 but during the Windows 7 installation the Boot Camp partition must be formatted to NTFS. The installer should ask you which partition you wish to install Windows 7 to and also format it properly. I don’t know if you got that far or not.

And this is important… run disk utility first to make sure there are no errors on the hard drive. Do that before installing Windows 7.

Wonder if 25GB is actually enough space? My Windows 7 64bit Pro uses 28GB with only limited applications installed.

  • #6

Yeah, that is a bit tight for Windows 7 x 64 bit and of course depends on how much software is installed. One game like MS Flight Simulator can easily take up 25 GB if you install all the scenery and extras.

  • #7

Thank you all for your responses. I have taken your suggestions (increased disk space for Windows to 45GB and verified/repaired Mac HD), but still getting same result.

You stated that you verified and repaired your Macintosh HD… are you sure there are no more remaining errors on the drive? Windows 7 will not install on a drive that reports errors to it.

  • #9

Thanks for your response. I’m pretty sure there aren’t any remaining errors on the drive. On Disk Utility I verified and repaired the Apple HDD and the Mac HD and both said everything is OK. Is there something else I should be doing to confirm?

You are unable to repair a disk you are booted from. You need either to boot from the DVD, OS X.6 or earlier, or run Recovery if later. Go into Utilities > Disk Utility and run Repair Disk from there.

  • #11

That’s what I did — I went to Applications-Utilitites-Disk Utility and did the verify and repair from there. Is there a better way to do it?
I’m wondering if the install disk is corrupted. How often does that happen?

If you put the Windows 7 disk in the drive under OSX can it be mounted? Can you view the contents etc?
Did you format the drive to NTFS during the Windows install? (or does it not get that far?)

You cannot run Repair Disk from the Utilities folder. Must be booted from either the install DVD or via Recovery mode

As Harry pointed out, you can not repair the disk that way because it remains mounted. The disk must be dismounted before it can be repaired. That means booting from another disk or from the Recovery partition, again as Harry has been telling you.

Any joy srickm repairing the hard drive from Recovery or the install DVD?

  • #16

I have no idea what dismounting a disk is. Can you explain?
Thanks.
