WinKFP error 211 Solutions
Sometimes winkfp error 211 occurs when you flashing a module,and flashen is aborted.Here I write this article to share you with solutions of how to solve WinKFP error 211.
Below picture show the WinKFP error 211.
Here I collect possible reasons,you need to check one by one.
1.Check WinKFP Configuration,and make sure you have configured it as below picture shows.
2.You need to reprogrammed mdules on the MOST bus by ICOM.If you use K+DCAN cable to reprograme,it maybe occur 211 error.
3.Just code both modules to default. You can use any profile which has manipulation disabled.
4.Make sure your car plugged to power supply to maintain proper voltage.
5.You need to code both units and then align.This can be done via ncs and inpa.When units are virgin chassis is written at time of coding.
6.Below show two config files,please replace those two files(backup yours) with those and try whether it is working.(before repalcing,pls save your original files)

I recently get a car a z4 with a problem a friend of mine tried to update the transmision EGS with winkfp and afther 100% it was get an error
Error 211: Error on Flash programming
Error 211 «Signature check failed
the car start but it is imposible to get in a gear
i was try to update again via winkfp with a machine that i was able to do some trasmision update but not luck afther 100% same error
the sp daten is 2014 and the car is 2012-2013
i was do it with a stable source power so all the time is betwen 14v-14.5v
so can anyone give me some help what i have to do ?

Try updating again using an earlier DATEN file.
solved . just use icom with istap and will work again ok

If you met the problems of BMW ICOM A2 software Winkfp flash programming error 211, you can have a look at the methods provided by forum members. Maybe they are useful.
problems
Both modules from the BMW dealership comes With VIN & Part Number already programmed in them but when use INPA to read the UIF block, the Part Number only showed up but not the VIN. Number, in its place is all yyyyyyy.
How to use WinKFP to program both the CAS & DME to facilitate a starting the engine for BMW E60?
Tools used here: BMW ICOM A2
Laptop with windows XP
Possible solutions from forums:
Note:
Opinion 1
You only need to code both units and then align. This can be done via NCS and INPA. When units are virgin chassis is written at time of coding.
Opinion 2

You should be able to successfully reprogram it with ISTA/P and an ICOM interface.
Opinion 5
Check your Winkfp configuration, make sure it looks like this

Didn’t have the power supply connected with the right Volts.

winkfp error 211 — everything flashing Hi, I have a 2011 (March 2010 build) 335d. I just attempted to use WinKFP to program TELE15. Around 70% through flashing it popped up with an error. It is also running the wiper blades and the car blinks but won’t turn on. Please help! I can’t get my car to turn on now… Lucky it’s a long weekend… In addition, how can I tell which units need updating? Nachum |

You should be able to successfully reprogram it with ISTA/P and an ICOM interface. I can’t recommend one personally, there are a lot of Chinese clones out there. One member reported that this one worked for him recently: Your mileage may vary. I own a Schumacher INC-700A and highly recommend it. For ECU TELE15, I have 9231090. There is also 9231091. Are those the flash versions? It’s pretty unclear to me if those numbers indicate a hardware variation or the flash versions. |

The problem is the IFH-0018 error. Check EDIABAS.ini and ensure that the “interface=****” is appropriately configured for the interface type you are using. You also need to ensure that the DATEN files you are using are compatible with the version of EDIABAS you are running.

i was going to program my FRM using winkfp and i got this error and i dont know what it is please I need HELP!!

Solution:
check your winkfp configuration
make sure it looks like this
the 211 it was because i didn’t have the power supply connected with the right Volts.
. Error 106: error on setting ECU Adress
Solution:
I choose confort mode enter zub mine was 9204527 for frm2 then I enter vin click ok then zub update click done after that send me to other window and I hit prog.zub update and program successful! Then exit winkfp.
FRM is programmed correctly.
. Error 806: error on deleting assembly line data
I’ve got the cable from www.worldobd2.com like instructed by a few members in the DIY thread and installed INPA, DIS, winKFP and downloaded both V41 and V46 Data files for e60. Followed all of the instructions to a T in terms of installing software from the discs provided by the seller I got the cable from. When I do the assembly line import though into winkfp – I get this error message ( error 806 “deleting assembly line data”) with either V41 or V46 data files. It gets to about 94% of completion and then it stops .
Solution:
Try finding a Windows XP computer and install the BMW programs on it. It seems that anything higher than XP can sometimes run into issues with programming.
