This article is a guide to changing appearances with the use of items and spells.

Arakkoa

Basilisk

• Eating [Magic Eater], which can only be fished up from the sewers of Dalaran, has a small chance to turn you into a basilisk for 60 seconds. This effect also prevents spell casting.

Bat

Only able to transform into a bat during Hallow’s End.

• Trick or treating with Innkeepers gives you a chance to get «Trick,» transforming you into a bat for 1 hour.
• [Hallowed Wand — Bat] allows you to turn a party member into a bat (100% chance).
• [Hallowed Wand — Random] allows you to turn a party member into a bat (14% chance).

Blood Elf

• During the quest  [25-30] Information Gathering you gain access to  [Sunfury Disguise]. It can only be used around Manaforge Coruu, in Netherstorm. Unlike most disguises, you can mount up in this one.
• During the quest  [25-30] What Illidan Wants, Illidan Gets…, you gain access to  [Blood Elf Disguise]. It can only be used in Eclipse Point. Leaving the area, or performing mostly any action will cause you to lose the disguise.
• During the quest  [25-30G3] Dissension Amongst the Ranks…, you gain access to  [Enchanted Illidari Tabard]. It can only be used in Eclipsion Fields.
• Using the  [Orb of the Sin’dorei] that drops from any of the four bosses in Magisters’ Terrace, anyone can turn into a Blood Elf for 5 minutes.
  • A blood elf can change their gender via the orb with some clever usage of other appearance-changing items. For example, if a blood elf female uses an  [Iron Boot Flask] to become a dwarf male, then uses the orb, she will become a male blood elf.

Broken

• During the quest  [30R] Ruse of the Ashtongue you’ll gain access to [Ashtongue Cowl]. It can only be used in The Eye and is the only disguise that stays on for druids. Lasts 1 hour or until you leave the instance.

Cat

Alliance-only

• After accepting the quest  [1-30] Totem of Vark, a furbolg spirit will transform you into a Ghost Saber. The buff also increases land speed greatly, and grants invisibility for a few minutes.

Crab

Midsummer Fire Festival time-only

• During the quest  [1-70] An Innocent Disguise you gain access to [Orb of the Crawler], which lets you turn into a crab for 3 minutes. It can only be used in the Zoram Strand of Ashenvale.

Critters

• During phase 2 of the Nefarian fight in Blackwing Lair, the raid’s mages will cause random members to be polymorphed into one of the following:

Cow • Carrion grub • Giraffe • House cat • Squirrel

• Eating  [Magic Eater], which can only be fished up from the sewers of Dalaran, has a small chance to turn you into a roach for 45 seconds. This effect also prevents spell casting.

• You have a chance to be randomly sheeped while in Dalaran by Minigob Manabonk <The Mischievous Mage>. Which a sometime later you get an item in the mail from him, the  [The Mischief Maker], which can then be used on someone else. Only usable in Dalaran, this lasts 30 seconds or until canceled.

• Performing a love, hug, or pet emote on Luo Luo (Orgrimmar) or Meng Meng (Stormwind City) will give players a  [Magic Bamboo Shoot], which will turn them into a panda for 10 minutes. The effect lasts until cancelled.

Horde-only

PvP/Duel-only

• Mages can polymorph another player into a:

Sheep • Pig • Turtle • Black Cat • Penguin • Rabbit • Turkey • Monkey

Noblegarden time-only

• Looting Brightly Colored Eggs during the event has a chance to turn you into a pink rabbit for 60 minutes. Prevents spell casting and will break with damage.
• The item  [Blossoming Branch] can also be used on players in your party to transform them into a white rabbit for 60 minutes. Prevents spell casting and will break with damage.

Hallow’s End time-only

• Trick or treating with Innkeepers, you have a chance to get «Trick», transforming you into a: (Lasts for only 30 seconds)

House cat • Frog • Mini-Diablo • Snake • Worm

Pilgrim’s Bounty time-only

• The item  [Turkey Shooter] will transform any player target into a turkey. Lasts up to 60 minutes. Most actions will cancel the effect.

Engineers-only

Crow

• During the quest  [10-30] As the Crow Flies you’re given [Stormcrow Amulet], which when used will transform you into a storm crow. Can only be used next to Ysiel Windsinger. You will not have control of your actions.

Draenei

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a blood elf can transform into a draenei, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Engineers-only

• Using  [Vial of the Sands] will turn you into a stone drake (with a saddle, for your passenger) until canceled. Entering areas flagged as indoors will also remove this form. The vial can be crafted by alchemist that receive a rare discovery.

Furbolg

• The [Stave of Fur and Claw] makes you appear as a furbolg for 3 minutes. The item can be purchased from Meilosh so long as the player is exalted with Timbermaw Hold.

Alliance-Only

• The [Dartol’s Rod] makes you appear as a furbolg until canceled. The item itself can be kept forever even after completing  [7-30] True Power of the Rod. (Only works in Ashenvale)
• The [Dartol’s Rod of Transformation] makes you appear as a furbolg for 3 minutes. The item itself can be kept forever even after completing the last quest of Raene’s Cleansing.

The item can no longer be obtained.

Ghost

• Will become a ghost when you die and release (not including night elves).
• During the quest  [52] Meet at the Grave you can use the item [Videre Elixir] to kill yourself, thus transforming into a ghost.
• Drinking [Ethereal Oil] will give you a ghostly effect for 5 minutes.

The following only available during Hallow’s End:

• Trick or treating with Innkeepers you have a chance to get «Trick», transforming you into a ghost for 1 hour.
• [Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat] has a 25% chance of transforming you into a ghost.
• [Hallowed Wand — Ghost], allows you to turn a party member into a ghost (100% chance).
• [Hallowed Wand — Random], allows you to turn a party member into a ghost (14% chance).

• Using  [Super Simian Sphere] transforms you into a gorilla. It is a world drop from WotLK raids, high instances, Storm Peaks, or Icecrown. The trinket has a 5 minute effect and a 1 hour cooldown.

Hozen

Human

• Unless already human or a dwarf, upon entering the instance Escape from Durnholde Keep or Culling of Stratholme the bronze dragonflight will transform you into a human for historic purposes.
• Using  [Underbelly Elixir] has a chance to change you and everyone around you into a human mage. Lasts for 10 minutes and only happens while in Dalaran.

• Having the [Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan] malfunction has a chance to change you into a Kobold very briefly (10 seconds). You won’t be able to move.
• Having the [Dimensional Ripper — Everlook] malfunction has a chance to change you into a Kobold very briefly (10 seconds). You won’t be able to move.

• During the quest  [25-30] To Legion Hold you gain access to [Box o’ Tricks], which can only be used in Legion Hold near the Legion Communication Device. You will not be able to move.

Herbouflage

• Using the item  [Lifegiving Seed], herbalists can transform into a random herb and are unable to move. It will also change your name to the corresponding herb for the duration of the buff, but any active titles will remain.

• During the quest  [1-30] Tree’s Company you gain access to [Tree Disguise Kit], which can only be used on Silvermyst Isle near the naga flag. You will not be able to move.

Orc

• During the quest  [15-30] Who Are They? you’ll be transformed into an orc to gain information. Performing any action (other than talking), or leaving the immediate vicinity, will break the disguise. Shadowy Hunters will also be able to see through the disguise.

Humans-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a human can transform into an orc, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Engineers-only

Fel Orc

• After completing the quest chain Ally of the Netherwing you’ll be able to enter the areas of Dragonmaw Fortress and Netherwing Ledge (provided you can fly) and transform into a fel orc. Lasts until you leave the areas.

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a pandaren can transform into a pandaren, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Skeleton

• Available year round the [Noggenfogger Elixir] is purchasable from Marin Noggenfogger, after completing his quests.

The following only available during Hallow’s End:

• Trick or treating with Innkeepers you have a chance to get «Trick», transforming you into a skeleton for 1 hour.
• [Hallow’s End Pumpkin Treat] (25% chance)
• [Hallowed Wand — Skeleton], allows you to turn a party member into a skeleton (100% chance).
• [Hallowed Wand — Random], allows you to turn a party member into a skeleton (14% chance).

Snowman

Sprite

• Killing Scotty for  [Scotty’s Lucky Coin] will allow players to turn into a forest sprite. The buff lasts 10 minutes or until players enter combat.

Taunka

• The player will have a chance to turn into a taunka with a given proc of the  [Deathbringer’s Will]. Lasts for 30 seconds.

Tauren

• Dropped from the rare Yorik Sharpeye in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, the  [Mr. Smite’s Brass Compass] will give the appearance of Mr. Smite for 10 minutes.

Gnomes-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a gnome can transform into a tauren, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Engineers-only

Dwarves-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a dwarf can transform into a troll, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

• Using  [Underbelly Elixir] has a chance to change you into a half naked tuskarr, this will also increase your fishing skill by 50. Last for 10 minutes and only works while in Dalaran.

Undead

Night elves-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a night elf can transform into an undead forsaken, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Day of the Dead time-only

• Performing a /dance with Catrina‎ will transform you into an undead for 12 hours.

Vrykul

• The player will have a chance to turn into a vrykul with a given proc of the  [Deathbringer’s Will]. Lasts for 30 seconds.

Frost

• After accepting and completing the quest Discipline from Mildred the Cruel, you’ll change into a female frost vrykul (no matter your gender), every time you enter the Brunnhildar Village or Forlorn Mine.

Wasp

• Using  [Underbelly Elixir] has a chance to change you into a slow flying wasp, not just hovering but actually flying around like if on a flying mount. Only works in Dalaran. Last for 10 minutes.

Wisp

Wolvar

• Using [Frenzyheart Brew] transforms you into a Wolvar. It has a chance to be contained in the [Ripe Disgusting Jar], created after 7 days from [Disgusting Jar] (a reputation reward from the Frenzyheart Tribe). The buff lasts 10 minutes, and has a 30 minute cooldown.

Worg

• First provided for the quest  [10-30] In Worg’s Clothing, the [Worg Disguise] is used in a small series of quests so that you can communicate with Ulfang in Howling Fjord. Most actions will remove this disguise. Only usable in Howling Fjord.

Worgen

• While raiding Karazhan a Sealed Tome containing [Torment of the Worgen] will, when it procs, transform you into a worgen for a very limited amount of time.
• While being attacked by Bloodmoon Cultist or Bloodmoon Worgen on Bloodmoon Isle in Grizzly Hills there is a chance you’ll get an Infected Worgen Bite, which stacks up to 3 times. On the third bite you’ll turn into a worgen (preventing spell use) for 60 seconds. Curing this disease or waiting it out is the only way to remove it.

Goblins-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a goblin can transform into a worgen, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

• Using  [Underbelly Elixir] has a chance to change you into a half naked tuskarr, this will also increase your fishing skill by 50. Last for 10 minutes and only works while in Dalaran.

Undead

Night elves-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a night elf can transform into an undead forsaken, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

Day of the Dead time-only

• Performing a /dance with Catrina‎ will transform you into an undead for 12 hours.

Vrykul

• The player will have a chance to turn into a vrykul with a given proc of the  [Deathbringer’s Will]. Lasts for 30 seconds.

Frost

• After accepting and completing the quest Discipline from Mildred the Cruel, you’ll change into a female frost vrykul (no matter your gender), every time you enter the Brunnhildar Village or Forlorn Mine.

Wasp

• Using  [Underbelly Elixir] has a chance to change you into a slow flying wasp, not just hovering but actually flying around like if on a flying mount. Only works in Dalaran. Last for 10 minutes.

Wolvar

• Using [Frenzyheart Brew] transforms you into a Wolvar. It has a chance to be contained in the [Ripe Disgusting Jar], created after 7 days from [Disgusting Jar] (a reputation reward from the Frenzyheart Tribe). The buff lasts 10 minutes, and has a 30 minute cooldown.

Worg

• First provided for the quest  [10-30] In Worg’s Clothing, the [Worg Disguise] is used in a small series of quests so that you can communicate with Ulfang in Howling Fjord. Most actions will remove this disguise. Only usable in Howling Fjord.

Worgen

• While raiding Karazhan a Sealed Tome containing [Torment of the Worgen] will, when it procs, transform you into a worgen for a very limited amount of time.
• While being attacked by Bloodmoon Cultist or Bloodmoon Worgen on Bloodmoon Isle in Grizzly Hills there is a chance you’ll get an Infected Worgen Bite, which stacks up to 3 times. On the third bite you’ll turn into a worgen (preventing spell use) for 60 seconds. Curing this disease or waiting it out is the only way to remove it.

Goblins-only

• Using the item  [Orb of Deception] a goblin can transform into a worgen, for a limited time (5 minutes).
• The Obelisk of Deception is a one-time use item that performs the same transformation that the orb does, but for 20 minutes.

я уже 10ый уровень, возможно ли мне сейчас изменить либо рассу, внешность? и как это сделать?

как сказано выше нужно ввести showracemenu нажав на клавишу «Ё» а для более детальной настройки персонажа нужен мод RaceMenu с его помощь можно сделать перса на свой вкус

а вот например вы ввели мод и все что ты заработал остается или как ??

Юлия, после патча 1,9(кажется) пофиксили и теперь уровень и навыки не слетают.

Есть два способа. 1-для тех, кто не любит коды, хочет все делать сам. Нужно найти скульптора лиц в Рифтене. Щас объясню: женщина, находится в «Буйной фляге», в Крысиной норе. Сразу заведет с вами диалог. Есть только один минус, за работу потребует 1000 септимов.
2-способ, для тех, кому не нравится тратить деньги зря, и лень искать скульптора лиц. Нажимаем тильду: «

» или по-другому букву Ё на клавиатуре и вводим без кавычек «showracemenu». Откроется первоначальный редактор персонажа, сможете сделать хоть другую расу. Когда создадите, заново выберете имя, и играйте дальше. После завершения редактирования, у персонажа могут быть связаны руки, просто нажмите ту кнопку, через которую достаете оружие и все. Лично мне этот способ нравится больше.

охринеть ты уже 10 уровень, у меня 168 уровень и я уже заново игру не начну, а ты можешь спокойно начать игру заново и создать нового перса, и кстати создание перса важный фактор от которого будет зависить исход в некоторых квестах, так что не страдай фигнёй и начинай игру по новой.

А если вы создали какого нибудь очередного уродца которого своими руками изменить неможете то я вам посоветую вместо того чтобы менять тип и утрачивать свои навыки лучше попробуйте несколько раз поменять пол с женского на мужской и так до тех пор пока ваш персонаж не станет нормально выглядеть сам лично так сделал и ни опыта ни очков навыков непотерял вообщем советую попробовать не пожалеете!

Проще обратиться к чуваку который живет в Солитюде и изменить внешность. Тем более на плойке консольную команду не введешь.

В. Как создаются изображения персонажей на новом сайте сообщества?
О. Мы написали программу (статический рендерер), которая использует игровые данные для создания трехмерных изображений вашего персонажа.

В. Сколько изображений обрабатывается для одного персонажа?
О. Происходит обработка (или рендер) четырех изображений:

• Изображение персонажа в профиле Оружейной
• Портрет на странице гильдии
• Аватар
• Изображение персонажа на вкладке в верхнем правом углу экрана

В. На каком этапе происходит рендер изображений?
О. Когда персонаж выходит из игры, статическому рендереру отправляется запрос на новый набор изображений для сайта. Эти запросы обрабатываются по мере поступления и, как правило, процесс занимает от 3 до 5 минут. Тем не менее, в часы высокой нагрузки на игровые миры, когда множество игроков входит и выходит из игры, обновление изображений вашего персонажа может занять несколько больше времени.

В. Почему поза моего персонажа отлична от той, которая была выбрана в старой Оружейной?
О. На данный момент мы рендерим персонажей в определенных позах. После окончательного запуска новой Оружейной, мы планировали позволить игрокам устанавливать позу и анимацию персонажа самостоятельно при помощи Adobe® Flash® или подобного компонента сайта. Мы предоставим вам больше информации в процессе разработки.

В. Почему эффекты наложения чар не отображаются на моем снаряжении?
О. Программа-рендер на данный момент не поддерживает эффекты частиц, что может вызвать небольшое несоответствие между тем, как ваш персонаж выглядит в игре и на сайте сообщества – включая эффекты от наложения чар.

В. У меня вместо аватара темный силуэт. Почему?
О. Если на аватаре вместо своего персонажа вы видите стандартный темный силуэт, это может означать одно из двух:

• Выбранный вами персонаж ниже 10 уровня.
• Вы не играли этим персонажем некоторое время.

Если уровень вашего персонажа превысил 9, зайдите этим персонажем в игру, а затем выйдите. Это должно создать запрос статическому рендереру на обновление изображения.

В. Ну, хорошо. Я зашел своим персонажем в игру, а затем вышел, но ни мое профильное изображение, ни мой аватар не обновились. В чем же дело?
О. Если вы вышли из игры во время высокой нагрузки на сервер, помните, что процесс обновления может занять некоторое время. В таком случае вам, возможно, придется подождать несколько часов.

В. А что, если мне хочется использовать банк-персонажа, или иного персонажа, еще не достигшего 10 уровня? Так и придется смотреть на силуэт вместо картинки?
О. Если персонаж младше 10 уровня, на форуме, а также на страницах с комментариями ему полагается стандартный аватар с темным силуэтом. Считайте это мотивацией для развития персонажа, или шансом оставаться темной и загадочной личностью.

В. Почему у моего рыцаря смерти на аватаре силуэт человека, если он не человек?
О. Обычно стандартные силуэты основаны на расе, но не на классе. Но рыцари смерти – отдельный случай, так как их аватары снабжены отдельным классовым фоном. Пока изображение не будет обработано рендером, силуэт рыцаря смерти по умолчанию будет силуэтом человека.

В. А что, если я хочу специальную позу, предмет или фон на изображении персонажа? Это возможно?
О. Нет. Мы не можем делать рендер изображения исходя из личных пожеланий отдельных игроков. Но вы по-прежнему можете придать индивидуальнось своему образу на сайте сообщества, например, при помощи праздничных предметов или наград за низкоуровневые задания. Подойдите к этому вопросу творчески, и вы будете удивлены результатом!

Изменения в магазине: услуга смены внешности и Battle for Azeroth

С выходом обновления, предшествующего Shadowlands, игроки смогут изменить различные параметры внешности своего персонажа, такие как пол, прическа и черты лица, в парикмахерской. В связи с этими нововведениями услуга смены внешности покинула магазин Blizzard.

Играть в Battle for Azeroth могут все обладатели подписки WoW

После выхода обновления, предшествующего Shadowlands, для игры в Battle for Azeroth будет достаточно действующей подписки World of Warcraft. Приобретать дополнение отдельно больше не потребуется.

Всем привет, решил создать новую тему так как от Sergo тема, ссылки мертвые.

Если вам надоела внешность вашего персонажа, можно её легко сменить.
Для смены модельки, надо всего лишь скачать файл, переименовать его в patch-ruRU-6.MPQ и кинуть в папку Data/ruRU (enUS и тд). Можно использовать цифры и буквы от 0 до 9 и от A до Z (англ)

Есть побочные эффекты при замене моделек:
1) Заменяются все модельки заменяемой расы/пола
2) Большинство звуковых эмоций остаются прежними.

P.S: Извиняюсь не все картинки фракций смог залить, так как на форуме стоит лимит картинок на один пост.

Если вам надоело или не нравится лицо вашего персонажа.

Вам необходимо скачать:Wow Model View, Batch Renamerl, Ladik’s MPQ Editor
Если вы решили создать к примеру Дворфа и поменяли текстуру на гнома и вам не понравилось ужасное лицо к примеру как у меня.

Открываем Model Viewer, заходим во вкладку options->settings, проверяем чтобы все было примерно как у меня (позднее туда можно будет добавлять свой патч и смотреть что получилось не заходя в игру. НО! .dbc файлы из патчей не цепляет).

Далее заходим в character[расса][пол] и делаем там точную копию нашего перса.

Запоминаем цифру типа старого лица (или записываем^^), далее делаем модельку того, что должно получиться.

Далее нам нужно экспортировать текстуры данной модели. давайте разберемся что к чему:

Нас интересуют:
[расса][пол]FaceLower[номер лица]_[цвет кожи].blp
[расса][пол]FaceUpper[номер лица]_[цвет кожи].blp
